Making an art sacrifice to appease the RNG Gods so they'll finally let me leave the Coronet Highlands.

#Some Kinda Nonsense #Pokemon #PLA #Cranidos #Shieldon #Shiny Pokemon #Shiny Pokemon art #Context: I am going for a shiny Living Dex in PLA #And I procrastinated on hunting space-time distortion shinies #Which was a Bad Plan but also understandable because I am suffering #I don't want to leave the Highlands until I can cross the fossils off my list for good #But it's been Literally Hundreds Of Hours #And I still need one of each #So many dupes #So many blue shards #I can't even get any Eevee progress for my trouble #It's Drapion and Dusclops and Magmar all the way down #And then I still gotta hunt this way in like three other places....#Also Art Shield doesn't like transparent backgrounds for some reason???#Or it didn't like the sparkles #I used the Krita default brush at first and it chewed them up #And then the outlines for the ones I drew still came out wonky without a background??#Even though the Pokemon were fine #Although it did add in a background color regardless #So.... maybe no transparancy for a bit?? I'm not feeling like this is more than this??#like Loop is still in the silly room but only for so long before I get them out or just make them like a cat of the room #to be fair they're allll cats there in a way #Luocha was my to-go character ever since getting him after exams in 2023 and I can't find a character that better worked in that #Lapis is specifically pre-crystal gem one as I kind of dislike her new design but *shruggs* it's still nice #just not the one that left impression on me that's all #Tomura and Flowey are like The Characters of this blog AND of my drawing journey I love them a bit too much #still not the insane fan but my friends know just HOW MUCH I talked about them and both were in my life for years #I'd say Bill Cipher fits there too as a trio but sadly I was out of places and he's not a guilty fave he's the OG fave #the fave to rule them all and one of the two I still have good time returning to as well - other one is Twilight Sparkle #she didn't fit here too again too many in all-time faves sadly #Nagito is here bc I didn't know what even counted as a “guilty fave” in my list #so I chose him as a character for the list bc Kokichi is too... nothing in my head like he has more stories #but I don't even care about his trial and I played through Nagito's one and actually did a lot to get his Island ending too #I love how you can see - all of them have a pattern like being blue or yellow and then there's Nagito #Tomura counts as blue even though he's more purple and wears black and red in the finale in my read he's in MVA outfit still and will be #tenko shimura

1-a somehow finding out that their stoic, hardass homeroom teacher is absolutely stupid head over heels in love with their goofy, ridiculous, eccentric english teacher and subsequently reading WAY too much into how they interact in passing when they switch periods every morning

ie: in that scene where shouta takes too long to conclude class and makes mic wait, there's a slight pause in his canter before he calls hizashi "mic"-- class 1-a would be gripping their seats to bring that up in the dorms later about how aizawa-sensei probably almost accidentally called mic-sensei "pookie bear" since that's most DEFINIETLY what he calls him at home

they talk every morning when shouta is leaving the room and hizashi is walking in, and every day, class 1-a will watch for subtleties in behavior so closely that some of them don't even breathe or blink

Master Windu on the whole looks incredibly unimpressed with Obi-Wan's testimony. "You don't have post traumatic stress disorder, Master Kenobi."

"I could," Obi-Wan says placidly, lacing his fingers together behind his back. "Honestly, after three years fighting on the frontlines of a galactic war, I think it's time we look at the mental health of those who surv--"

Master Windu raises a hand to quiet him. It works, if begrudgingly so. "The Jedi Council fully understands and supports those Jedi who are grappling with the aftermath of the war, Master Kenobi. That does not make you one of them."

"I could be," Obi-Wan lies, as he isn't. And he's certain that the entirety of the Jedi Temple knows that. The end of the war has, after all, been an incredible blessing to him in every which way.

"I overheard you telling Master Vos that you've slept like a babe for the past several months," Master Fisto points out.

Yes, Obi-Wan has been sleeping rather well. After all, his padawan has made sure of it. They sleep curled together in bed in varying states of undress most every night. Anakin has singlehandedly ensured that Obi-Wan feels too exhausted for any sort of post-war trauma lately, and he's sure the Council knows that. The council practically endorsed it, after all.

So it's really no one's fault but theirs that they've found themselves in this situation.

"I think we're getting off topic," Obi-Wan says. "A holo reporter accosted my padawan on the streets of Coruscant. Of course I retaliated in the name of protecting him."

Master Windu rubs at his temples. "A holo reporter touched your padawan's elbow--your padawan, who, let us remember is a fully-fledged Jedi Master capable of looking after himself and no longer your padawan at all--and you cut off the reporter's arm."

Obi-Wan blinks back at him. "I don't know what came over me," he says blandly. "It must have been the stress of it all. The war and such. You know."

"Get out," Windu says, looking torn between exhaustion, disgust, and aggravation. "And you'll be sitting down with The Coruscanti Sun's Editorial Team in two day's time as punishment. They want to do a spread."

Obi-Wan goes. The threat would carry more weight if he didn't know that the Council knows that there's no way in all of the galaxy that Anakin Skywalker would allow Obi-Wan to spread for the holo cameras. If Obi-Wan is willing to maim a man for asking after the specs of Anakin's mech arm--ensuring that, well, if he liked it so much then he can wear one of his own now--then there's no telling what Anakin would do to keep his master safe from the eyes of an entire editorial board.
