Giovanni just like Sampo and Sparkle is an incredibly interesting character. One thing I find fascinating is how those three actually enact their different ideas of elation. Sparkle is distractive not really caring if she hurts others because for her being completely free is what elation is. Sampo is secretive and calculating, not telling anyone that he's a fool so truly you can never be sure what he's gonna do next or even truly, what his idea of elation is. And Giovanni creates playgrounds and just lets others have fun, use what he can give and see what they can do with it. You could also read the way how they enact their understanding of elation in maybe the broader idea of how outsiders would think about the fools. Some will think that they are nothing more but destructive chaos loving people who care about nothing but to use the name of an aeon so they can cause havoc wherever they go. Others may immediately be suspicious of them because truly can you trust the words of people who hide so much behind masks, that you may never even see them without one metaphorically as well as literally. And then maybe some don't take them seriously at all, only seeing the fools as a group of people that just pull pranks, show up at parties and have fun.

i played both the new story for penacony and black swans character quest and even though im very confused to what is happening i definitly find sparkle really interesting and funilly enough because of those quests i now understand the concept behind sampos design a lot better

✨Sparkle Redesign!✨

So I realized how much I fucking LOVE Sparkle's character after remembering her upcoming banner and I watched GinjaNinjaOwO's video doing HSR designs awhile back (please check out their stuff it's so scrumptious) so I felt inspired as hell to take a crack at her.

Here she is!! I really love how this came out, though I believe her design is supposed to be Japanese in inspiration (don't quote me on that) and I ended up added a couple elements that are more Chinese...

I am like lowkey getting invested in Robin and Sparkle as a ship so I made their palettes contrast with the ties to the other (the little hints of blue in Sparkle's design opposing Robin's red shoes and lips). Might whip up some ship art so stay tuned!
