Where I want to explore the idea of what if the mask fool characters had a puppet/clown design. This is also morphing more into the concept of what if the characters were anything but human and molded from something that can be like a human. Sparkles design is a mix between a folded paper puppet and a fish bowl. I made her outfit resemble many colorful paper sheets folded into a dress. Her hair is attached to her mask. The entire concept comes from the idea of making a design similar to a 2D paper fashion doll. Where you have the base character and a few clothing options that you can fold onto the puppet. Sparkle switches into different roles all the time needing to be flexible and focusing on colorful and destructive performances. Paper dolls are very fragile the more you use them and for me that reflects Sparkle in a quite interesting way. She commits a lot to her performances putting everything of her into her rolls so much so that she isn't even sure who the real her is anymore. That's also why the fish bowl has more than one fish in it and out of it. Sparkle is the guide to tears, A being who derails plays to her and others whims uninterested about the consequences of her actions. Dancing in the chaos she leaves behind
