Southeast Asia is a region with a population of over 650 million people and a rapidly growing digital economy. Opportunities

The e-commerce market in Southeast Asia is projected to reach $172 billion by 2025, according to a report by Google, Temasek, and Bain & Company. This growth is fueled by factors such as rising internet penetration, increasing mobile phone usage, and a young, tech-savvy population.

One of the key advantages of e-commerce in Southeast Asia is the ability to reach a large and diverse consumer base. With over 650 million people spread across 11 countries, there is ample opportunity to target specific markets and niche segments. Moreover, e-commerce platforms such as Lazada, Shopee, and Tokopedia offer a low barrier to entry for small businesses, enabling them to reach a wider audience and compete with larger players.

Challenges

Despite the potential for growth, e-commerce in Southeast Asia is not without its challenges. One of the biggest obstacles is the lack of infrastructure and logistics support in some regions. Delivery times can be slow and unreliable, and the cost of shipping can be prohibitively high, particularly for smaller businesses.

Another challenge is the high rate of cash on delivery (COD) transactions, which can account for up to 70% of all e-commerce transactions in Southeast Asia. COD presents a risk for businesses, as there is a higher likelihood of fraud and non-payment, as well as higher transaction costs.

Additionally, e-commerce in Southeast Asia is highly fragmented, with different regulations and consumer preferences across the region. This can make it difficult for businesses to navigate the market and establish a consistent presence.

Hi guys! I have some stuff to sell.

If you've been here for a while, you might remember that I had announced that I was going to start doing adopts, hosted an auction for one character design, and then didn't do anything else. It turns out that adopts are not for me.

However, I have three paintings (watercolors) of character designs that I now have no idea what to do with! So this is the 'closing sale' version of what I was trying to do earlier in the year - I cannot be bothered trying to move these the way I wanted nor make the kind of money I wanted off of them. I am not interested in keeping them forever just because I can't do what I want, though, so I'm selling them off again.

Here's how that will work:

You pay $30 for the painting plus postage, which should not end up being more than $15 at the absolute most, "or best offer" if multiple people want the same one (truth be told I find this unlikely)

I mail you your painting, so you get the original. you get to keep the character if you want but you're not obligated to do anything with it

i then post a nice picture of it on my art accounts, where people can say nice things about it or w/e

These are the three pieces up on offer: The first two are watercolor and ink, the last is just ink, and all three are on watercolor paper but the first had torn and while it's patched very neatly, I glued a second piece of paper to the back to support it and now it is very stiff. They're all about 8in x 11.5in.

Sorry there aren't any robots . But if you particularly like my fursona there's an unfinished anthro sketch of the dragon on the back of the painting that bears a resemblance to mine.
