just went to pull out some blocks to do a couple reprints (finally) and found that some of them of a certain material are like leeching oil which is hugely disconcerting… also looks like they may be losing line integrity………….. so perhaps a) i shan’t be using that kind of block anymore b) those will face an early retirement if they don’t print up nice next time……….

Someone asked "hey what would Ken say in his bio on a dating app? what kind of person is he looking for?" and Ryan's like "uh... well before he even looks for a Type Of Person™, he's gotta be real up front that he's got no job... and no house... no real prospects of any sort, really, he just kinda sleeps on the beach, and -- you know what, he doesn't even have a phone? #Hhhhhh this is such a good episode.#I don't have any particular strong feeling for Fukuzawa nor Ranpo but this is a very good episode.#The pacing is great the tension and ease are well distributed as much as action and exposition are.#The animation is spectacular and detailed. The drawings beautiful. The imperfect black and white is original‚ compelling and eyecatching #Truly something that shows the animators were given budget and enough time to really think it through. Please more of this #Off to more personal notes I clearly remember the moment in my dorm room I watched the bsd anime–#come back for the first time after three years and the reveal of the untold origins novel being adapted that came with it.#It's such a sweet memory. I was so so excited and happy and thinking back at it makes me :')#In love with Oda's voice please speak more baby #About voices Fukuzawa looks so younggggg and yet his voice is so deepppppppp it's a funny contrast ahah.#Fukuzawa was very pretty when he was younger.#Distributing countless papers on the floor of my childhood's house attic to order them to the point there was no space left to walk is–#something I actually used to do when I was little. went to milan last week and brought back some italian little guys :D

#I'm really excited about the smash 64 it was only $20 cad!!#the vendor had a bunch of rare games but they were all a bit overpriced #like $60 for the crustiest copy of Luigi's mansion with no manual #BUT all the japanese games were like $20 each so i got this!! really excited since we need 64 setups for tournament #also it's HARD being a Kingdom hearts fan in 2024 what you see here is almost all the KH merch in the entire con #no prints or anything. but the stuff i did get is absolutely beautiful #also sooo happy jelly ultra had a table there i wanted to get one of everything from them. tons of paper mario stuff #also i got lots of stickers this year i love the nanalan ones and the smash gay sticker #also my bf won that ttyd cube in a draw!!!#OH and in that cloth bag is a 'silent princess' candle based on botw and it smells like fruit loops!!!?? exactly like them???

i'm 14 hours into m&l brothership and so far the most disappointing thing about it is that there hasn't been a song that makes me go "holy shit i need to listen to that for 2 weeks straight" like every other game has had

other than that this is everything i could have asked for, people are calling it hand-holding and a bit too easy but i'm a 23 year old man i didn't exactly expect it to challenge me. the old games were harder because i was maybe 10 years old, not because they were actually difficult. i'm here for the story and the charm, and it has a lot of charm. would like to see more Imminent Danger to our main cast but that's just a personal preference lol

#(this is all spoiler free btw! i just wanted to ramble to tumblr about it a bit. been going nuts on priv lol)#it's fun!! and that's all i could have asked for #i got bored as hell playing paper jam. it was such a bad way for the series to die out 😭#im surprised that even as far in as i am the combat keeps changing up quite a bit #and i still dont one-shot hardly anything except for the starter enemies #idk if im under or over leveled or just about right. i dont wanna look up a guide and find out #just got off lottacoins and i was lv16 in the fight #i've game overed 3 times. twice to those birds in a fight i couldnt flee bc i was DEFINITELY underleveled for that one #and once when one bro was down and i found an enemy i didnt know the attack patterns of yet :P #i will say the game is NOT nice to you about your coin count KJFHGJ #in the beginning i was like ''damn i already have 200 coins that's crazy'' and then i go to an item shop and One piece of gear is 160 #i just spent all my coins down to zero getting upgrades lmao #but that makes item/gear management way more fun. the game feels really balanced imo #chat #oh and by the way my favorite song so far is conductor island aka the starting island #the others are Good but they dont do much to stand out... that's what's disappointing about them so far #but conductor island is so calm <3 it's beautiful

#positive influence.....#i do wonder sometimes how jarring it must have been for he and lil chris to go from australia to korea #bc i copped shit for being pale and freckly as a kid #i have a core memory of this girl talia wearing a country bumpkin costume with these cartoonish freckles drawn on and she pointed at me #and was like Lol im jessie haha and i was like Okay so you want to fight??#another time had to do some speech and when i finished and had questions from my classmates and two boys just asked me why i was pale #and why they could see idk i guess my bloodvessels in my legs ??? i didnt even notice like i was just like UHHHH idk ask about my topic #had so many instances like that and they werent terrible but it did make me insecure #like in the 00s here being tan was /it/ you had to be nice and tanned- go lay in the sun and ignore we are number one in melanoma deaths #like it was so consistently the thing... prob why i have so many freckles bc i didnt tan in the sun i freckled #but in both felix and chans aus photos they were quite tanned!#so imagine going from Hey go lay in the sun and get nice and brown ya pale fucker to Do Not Do That.
