Back on my Diavolo bullshit :) this is established relationship btw

You and Diavolo stretch out lazily on a plush couch in the Prince's castle, watching a newer romance movie he had been excited to see. But you had a problem. It's not that the movie was boring, or you didn't want to spend time with your boyfriend, but you had had a long day. You were leaning against his arm and he was just so warm. You really do try to stay awake, but some things can't be helped. Your eyes flutter shut despite all your efforts, and your head finally falls against his shoulder.

You wake in pure luxury. Your eyes blink open to see sheets made of sheer satin surrounding you, barely even rumpled. You must have slept soundly. The mattress feels like you could sink into it, and in fact, you might be. Closing your eyes again sounds like a fantastic idea. You let out a slow breath, your hazy mind already shutting down again, and you hear the hum of some electronic device coupled with the breathing.

The breathing? Why was there breathing? And why was it so close to you? You roll over slowly, trying not to disturb whatever's next to you, and are treated to a full view of your shirtless boyfriend half an inch from your face. What you didn't expect was to see Diavolo's horns and wings out, and as you still your breathing to try to keep from waking him up, his eyes slide open. They have a certain cloudiness to them though, and he remains silent, looking down at you. You notice scaly patches of skin near his wings and on the sides of his torso. He must be deeper into his demon form, you think.

He stretches out with all six limbs, shaking a bit before he settles back down. His massive arm settles around your frame and pulls you in tight. Even his wing drapes over you to keep you right where you are. You peek up from being buried in his chest and notice that for some reason, his eyes are still open. They really do look odd, you think, and his forearm pulls you closer and closer until your ribs start to ache. "Dia," you cough out. "Too tight."

The moment he hears his name, you realize what was happening. His third eyelid slides open and you are treated to the full view of his shining golden eyes as he wakes up. It takes him a moment to process what you said, but he finally loosens his grip on you. You pull in a deep breath as he readjusts to make you more comfortable. He doesn't pull the blankets tight like you would expect, instead arranging them protectively around your body. "Dia? I'm not going anywhere."

He buries his face in your hair at that, and you can feel his entire torso rumble as he groans out a word into your hair. "Did you just growl at me?" you tease.

"Mine." He says, clearly now. "You'd better not be going anywhere."

You can't help but laugh softly at him, and it seems to encourage him. "Can't let a pretty thing like you go. Bad enough I have to share with the brothers." He runs a large hand through your hair and settles his face back against your head. His wing rests over you again, and the heat emanating from it lulls you back to sleep in his arms again.

Help Beelsnack's Partner (UPDATE)

I know I don't make a habit of getting too personal on this blog - it's a fan blog, after all, and one that I try to keep rather positive at that. But my partner is in a bad way right now and I'm going to help him no matter what.

My partner works ridiculous hours - 12 hours a day, six days a week, and it's starting to catch up with him. health-wise. He's exhausted, can barely do anything but eat and sleep, and now, when he does sleep, he's been having what we think are stress-induced sleep-paralysis episodes. He desperately needs a break, but he doesn't think we can afford it because his job doesn't give him any sort of pto.

So, I'm taking commissions to drum up enough extra money - as close to what he makes in three days as I can - to let him rest. I love my partner to the ends of the earth and I'll do whatever I can to make sure he's happy and healthy.

Emergency Commissions

I know I haven't been active on here much lately in terms of writing (full time employment is a bitch) but I'm in a little bit of a bind.

My partner recently quit his job because of terrible and honestly downright abusive management, and until he gets another job sorted out we're down to only my salary. Hopefully not for long, but bills still need to be paid and food still needs to be bought.

So I'm opening up fic commissions again. Not that I ever close them, to be honest, but I'm actively asking for them now. My prices are on the pinned post of my blog, and I'm willing to work with you if you want something for a fandom not listed.
