I’m doing a puzzle and I’m completely stuck. I could use a hint but I want to know how to do this myself and if I use a hint I’ll never learn anything. I sent it to my friend and she couldn’t figure it out either. So if anyone here knows how to do nonograms can you please help me figure this out? Am I missing something or is it actually impossible?

The complete walkthrough is too huge a video so here are just select highlights from our friend demonstrating her homemade escape room, really just three or four of a dozen puzzles @revretch and I found really fun and engaging! Friend is in engineering and spent her entire summer on just the light up map alone so I'm including her entire explanation of that part uncut. She isn't on social media but she hopes she gets nice comments and feedback anyway!

HEYYY GUYS quickly hopping back on here, messily taping/supergluing my art onto the blog, and then promptly skedaddling right afterwards because OH BOY I need to focus this week and lock into my animation MAP part. The time crunch has gotten real!! AUUUUU!! But I had to get this image out of my system before anything else so here ya go enjoy some solitary confinement Puzzle appreciation. I’m sorry that it’s rushed!! Maybe once I finish this MAP I’ll return and make it less janky (specifically for the animated gif here because OOF that looks rough buddy. But it’s the best I can afford to do without getting totally side tracked on my goals. It looks real lazy and is low-key triggering me but I’m letting it slide—sir is mocking my perfectionism right now. Gotta focus all that energy onto the MAP instead).

I am not so sure if you allow questions directly to Mr puzzles. But if not sorry . But Mr puzzles, why do you have a blue glass eye instead of a brown glass eye?

It really all boils down to wanting to be remembered. Even if it’s just for a weird eye.

( Also, you totally can send in asks directed to Mr. Puzzles!! I definitely take longer to do them in comparison to other doodle suggestions & questions, but i don’t mind people sending them. I see them as fun practice for writing dialogue :) )

in my humble (and limited) opinion people who do crosswords dont like sudoku and people who like sudoku dont like crosswords. If youre good at both its strength in language and maths which is really SMART!

I think kim likes and is good at crosswords and is ok at but doesnt like sudoku.

Probably… try not to destroy the world though. We all live here, Puzzles included. So… not great if it gets destroyed. We would die which would suck. Puzzles probably wouldn’t die with his cool new demon stuff but unless you can whisk him away to another world somehow it would still be pretty bad for him I think.

First of all, I'm loving Echoes of Wisdom. It lives up to the hype.

But playing it and Link's Awakening back to back, I'm really feeling the thirty year gap in game design.

You can fast travel to save points any time you like from the start, it's not something you have to earn with a special item

The maps of dungeons actually tell you where the staircases lead

Way more silly side-nonsense you can do and a broader cast of characters to interact with

Clear order of operations where progressing the story doesn't rely on seemingly inconsequential side-quests

The in-dev versions of the Wild Kratts flash games are trippy as fuck.

For anyone wondering how the fuck I managed to get this, a friend of mine who was just as enamoured by the flash games sent these to me a while back. They were found on several PBS Kids subdomains that contained flash games prior to the End-of-Life (a good majority of them nowadays are gone unfortunately). I was able to use the flash emulator Ruffle to be able to access them again and yeah, it's really fucken interesting.

For those who want the link, here (I'd advise you install Ruffle beforehand it make it easier to automatically emulate the game. Also disclaimer, bc it's in-dev, the controls do not work).
