the funniest meltdown ive ever had was in college when i got so overstimulated that i could Not speak, including over text. one of my friends was trying to talk me through it but i was solely using emojis because they were easier than trying to come up with words so he started using primarily emojis as well just to make things feel balanced. this was not the Most effective strategy... until. he tried to ask me "you okay?" but the way he chose to do that was by sending "👉🏼👌🏼❓" and i was so shocked by suddenly being asked if i was dtf that i was like WHAT???? WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY TO ME?????????? and thus was verbal again

#A great episode tbh especially given the low budget. I feel like they really did their very best#And even though what I'm going to say next is probably going to be all critic - because I nitpick things and that's what I always end up–#talking about - I still want to underline that it was a very solid and enjoyable episode!!!#Alright the ss/kk was so 💞💞💞 every scene I had to rewatch twice or thrice akhscbashfb they're so cute!!!#Except for the riding scene tho. That scene gives me massive second hand embarrassment every time I just wish it will end as fast as–#possible pffttt. Mmmmhhh... The drawings weren't even too bad all accounted. My main complain is about the quicksand scene...#I feel like that one should be a slow quiet emotional scene. I never licked the choice of using the song as background soundtrack :/#I feel like it ruins the mood of the scene (it was still good though)#I also... Generally don't like the direction they seem to go for with Akutagawa's character in the anime‚ he seems quite a bit flatter–#compared to how he is in the manga. He can't be angry and evil ALL the time you need to show that softness get through from time to time.#If not what even is the point of his character. Yet in the anime he's angry (and not distraught) when he loses the mine craft and he's–#angry when he's questioning Atsushi about his motifs and he's angry when he's bragging about Atsushi's abilities to Goncharov and he's–#angry when he makes the promise with Atsushi at the end of the episode and eventually he'll be just as angry even when telling Atsushi–#to run away as he's sacrificing his life for him. It is pretty flat at the end of the day.#If I can say something about K/ensho Ono without being killed I think they do contribute to making him feel angry all the time.#But that said it's all probably poor directing choices (or simply choices I don't agree with).#Also‚ about cuts. Usually I try to be lenient about it– I understand it's hard to fit in everything and b/sd already does a very–#good job by adapting the manga almost panel-by panel. It's just that... You skip Akutagawa showing compassion for Atsushi after the–#orphanage director died. You skip Atsushi sharing the same compassion when Akutagawa loses his targed in the mines chase. You skip the–#“Nothing special about that. // I suppose he's far crueler than my own mentor.” line. And sure each of them may be negligible by their own#But together they wave a consistent web of relationship between the two characters you know? And it's a loss to omit them all#Well no mind. Again it was still a great episode overall!!!!#I think the colors in the mines could have been prettier in the mines but we can't have it all#Off to season 4!!! Omg I can't believe we got this far :DDD#random rambles#FINALLY was able to catch up in time for the season 3 finale!!!!!!

reading tevinter nights veeeeery slowly. it's definitely miles better than the stolen throne.
#im 3/4 of the way thru the first story. thoughts so far:#i think its funny they made myrion gay. tevinter mage found being gay fork found in kitchen.#i know it's because they overdosed them but making qamek be tranquility 2 feels very cheap. not everything has to be something else.#strife is fun i hope he shows up in the game#having myrion say knife ear every 5 seconds is irritating. feels silly and i dont think readers are so#stupid theyll forget he's racist once they move on to a new paragraph. also sort of carries on with dai's issue of not really#understanding or wanting to engage with oppression outside of 'hey! dont call them bitches bro' type stuff#i do like weekes' writing tho. i thought aside from solas they were one of the weaker writers in dai but this is pretty good#way better than gaider who IS good at dialogue and bad at everything else

hey since i have access to all my phone's photos much more easily, check out my old violin
got it from my great uncle, who said it belonged to His grandpa. so we r looking at like 4 generations up here. he gave it to me in 2010 ish bc im the only person in the family that plays violin lol. & being in middle school, i named it Star :')
it still plays well, too! not my default for when i play bc i use my newer violin for that. but i still value her greatly
#speculation nation#ive posted these pics here but not in a whiiiiiiile. like over 2 years i think#which Oh Yeah i play violin. well. not so much these days. but i used to play for like 8 years#im just bad at sticking to it outside of the structure of being in an orchestra :p#but sometimes i pick it up again. i still can play. im just very out of practice lol#my left wrist has unfortunately lost a lot of its flexibility#cant turn it as far as i need to for easy playing. i need to get back into practice for that skjdflskdj#once upon a time tho i was 4th chair in the advanced orchestra of my high school#so In Theory i was the 4th best violinist out of 3 orchestras in a school of like 2k kids#i used to be Pretty Damn Good honestly. ive got great finger dexterity. unfortunately i mostly use it for video games these days#someday i do wanna join a community orchestra or something. someday...#anywys look at my violin. aint she pretty? i own an electric violin too. 3 violins. they mostly sit in a big chest sldkfjsldfj#safe and sound from the nightmare kitties

feeling better now I spent like 2 hours browsing fragrantica and found samples of a few intriguing ones on lucky scent + it's my payday tomorrow so I'm going to treat myself to that :3
#so desperate to find smth with a good tomato vine note so i can always have her around... i miss the tomato soap i used to have soooo bad#every time i hydrolyse oil at work (like. weekly) it torments me bc fresh out of a 16 hr incubation it has this lush green tomato smell#so im reminded of it super often..... anyway im still working thru these fancy deodorant balms i got gifted and the most recent one-#has a tomato note its rly gorgeous i think possibly my fave of them so far. might see if i can get a bigger tube of it hmm#ive been using a harsher black pepper/vetiver one bc i need smth stronger in this sweaty weather but forgot how effective the balms are#and how yummy and subtle they smell.. wouldnt it be nice to smell like that all the time ahh..#but yes ill wait in case my roomie wants any samples too so we can split shipping. summer of me smelling nice <3#also gonna try the demeter tomato one n maybe dirt or earthworm too..not sure id use them alone as perfume but maybe to stim#lucky scent doesnt have them tho sadly.. but i shall find elsewhere#i would LOVE a summer fragrance that was kind of loamy/earthy like rich wet soil but with buddleia notes. but i cant find anything-#in that kinda area on fragrantica sadly. just very specific nostalgic smell for me probably my top 5 smells ever#most stuff w buddleia is super floral n has so many other notes that throw me off from the description#ANYWAY.. i need to sleeeep#goodnight <3#.diaries

speaking of genbu's "serious" sounding tone in his voicebank, i think that might be why he was such a dead ringer for teto pre-synthv-bank-release with just a couple little gender parameter tweaks. wait do my followers know this. sorry i know most of my vocal synthesizer talk is genuinely gibberish to my beloved and loyal long time followers but do you guys know this. for a few years, people had discovered that since utau teto and genbu have this similar strong enunciation and dark sounding tone plus teto can have a bit of a tomboyish edge to her voice anyway -> if u mess with some parameters and phonemes he'll sound close enough to her, so it became a bit of running gag in the community, along with just being a genuine and novel use case for his voicebank. actually recently i found out about someone who made a couple of synthv scripts to set genbus voice to his falsetto pitch and set the tension to drop during each syllable automatically to make him sound like the utau sora amaha. genbu's purpose is to impersonate other vocal synthesizers
