Le Talent des Falmer Moderne / The Modern Falmer Talent : Français & English version

Alors... je me baladais sur le wiki (pas l'UESP car j'ai été très déçue de constater que l'armure falmer était la seule absente de leur catégorisation... wtf ?!) quand il m'est venu l'idée de comparer le talent falmeri moderne en matière de forge et usage de matériaux.

Pour cela, j'ai choisie de les comparer avec quatre types d'armures : Celle des Compagnons, celle Nordique Gravées, celle des Orques et celle des Dwemer.

Celle des Orques parce qu'ils sont d'excellents forgerons et les autres dans l'espoir d'avoir au moins un pied de nez sur ceux qui appellent les Falmer des ''bêtes sauvages''.

Et vous savez quoi ? 😎

L'armure lourde falmer est, à pièces équivalente (sans le bouclier, donc car les Compagnons n'en n'ont pas non plus), meilleure que tout les autres sets. Sans exception. Parfois de justesse, parfois d'une bonne marge.

Ainsi, les stats de bases du set falmeri sont de 96.

Les stats de l'armure orque sont de 94.

Les stats de l'armure nordique gravée sont de 93.

Les stats de l'armure dwemer sont de 78.

Les stats de l'armure du Cercle des Compagnon est de 72.

Et si l'on utilise la stat de bouclier en utilisant celle de l'armure falmer moindre, on obtient un résultat de 124.

L'armure orque obtient aussi 124.

L'armure nordique gravée est à 119,5.

L'armure dwemer atteint le 104.

L'armure des Compagnons n'a pas de bouclier mais, selon l'usage du bouclier d'acier ou nordique gravée, elle peut varier entre 96 et 98,5.

Conclusion ? Les Falmer sont, avec des ressources nettement moindres que la plupart des autres races, parmi les meilleurs forgeron de Bordeciel à la 4E, à égalité avec les Orsimer, surpassant de loin les Nordique et le Dwemer.

Et ce, alors qu'ils sont aveugles !

Bravo à eux ainsi qu'à leur fantastique résilience et capacité d'adaptation ! 👏👏👏

English Version :

So… I was wandering around the wiki (not the UESP because I was very disappointed to see that falmer armour was the only one missing from their categorisation… wtf?!) when I got the idea of comparing modern falmeri talent in terms of forging and use of materials.

To do this, I chose to compare them with four types of armour: Companion armour, engraved Nordic armour, Orc armour and Dwemer armour.

The Orcs' because they're excellent smiths, and the others in the hope of at least thumbing my nose at those who call the Falmer 'wild beasts'.

And you know what? 😎

The Falmer heavy armour is better than all the other sets for equivalent parts (without the shield, because the Companions don't have one either). Without exception. Sometimes just, sometimes by a good margin.

For example, the basic stats for the Falmeri set are 96.

Orc armour stats are 94.

The stats for the engraved Nordic armour are 93.

The stats for the dwemer armour are 78.

The Circle of Companions armour stat is 72.

And if you use the shield stat using the lesser falmer armour stat, you get a result of 124.

Orc armour also scores 124.

Engraved Nordic armour scores 119.5.

The dwemer armour reaches 104.

The Companions' armour has no shield but, depending on whether the steel or engraved Nordic shield is used, it can vary between 96 and 98.5.

Conclusion? With far fewer resources than most other races, the Falmer are among the best blacksmiths in Bordeciel at 4E, on a par with the Orsimer, far surpassing the Norse and the Dwemer.

And all this despite being blind!

Here are some of the scrapped logo designs for the team.

I can go into the story a little deeper if anyone wants, but the gist of it is that they were originally going to name the team Rocky Mountain Extreme, but when the public found out, there was such an outpouring of hate, that the owners did a hard 180 and instead did a poll of possible names.

In the fan poll, which included names such as Avalanche, Black Bears, Cougars, Outlaws, Rapids, Renegades, Storm, and Wranglers, the name Cougars ended up winning.

But the owners had the last say, and Avalanche ended being the golden name. It was a very unique name at the time since it was in reference to the dangerous snow slides that can happen in the mountainous area of Colorado.

And that’s how the Colorado Avalanche as we know them came to be.

Though it’s quite a shame that the Quebec Nordiques got sold since they were about to have a kind of sick rebrand.

btw i never ever ever want to hear any reporter talk shit on mikko ever again he's consistently putting up 40-50 goals and 100 points seasons, has the record for most goals in a season by an av, third finn ever to break 50 goals, and right now he's fourth in goals in the league fourth in points overall. two hat tricks!!! 11 goals in November! he's constantly right next to Nate on those leaderboards! you can only say "it looked like he didn't do much but turns out he actually did have a goal and an assist on the board!" so many times before you just have to accept he is that bitch
