Willie Howard Mays Jr. who was born on May 6, 1931. Nicknamed "The Say Hey Kid” Mays spent almost all of his 22-season Major League Baseball (MLB) career playing for the New York/San Francisco Giants (1951–1952, 1954–1972) before finishing his career with the New York Mets (1972–1973).
Willie Mays joined the Birmingham Black Barons of the Negro American League in 1948, playing with them until the Giants signed him once he graduated from high school in 1950. He won the Rookie of the Year Award in his MLB debut year of 1951, spent two years in the United States Army during the Korean War, and won the National League (NL) Most Valuable Player (MVP) Award in 1954 after leading the league in batting with a .345 batting average.
Mays led the NL with 51 home runs (HR) in 1955. In 1956, he stole 40 bases, leading the NL for the first of four straight years. He won his first of 12 Gold Glove Awards in 1957, a record for outfielders. The Giants moved to San Francisco after the 1957 season, and Mays contended for the batting title until the final day of 1958, hitting a career-high .347. He batted over .300 for the next two seasons, leading the league in hits in 1960. After leading the NL with 129 runs scored in 1961, Mays led the NL in home runs in 1962 as the Giants won the NL pennant and faced the New York Yankees in the World Series, which the Giants lost in seven games.
In 1964, his manager Alvin Dark named him the Giants' captain. He led the NL with 47 home runs that year. He hit 52 the following year, leading the NL and winning his second MVP award. 1966 was the last of 10 seasons in which he had over 100 runs batted in (RBI). In 1969, he hit the 600th home run of his career; he got his 3,000th hit in 1970. Traded to the Mets in 1972, Mays spent the rest of that season and 1973 with them before retiring. He served as a coach for the Mets until 1979 and later rejoined the Giants as a special assistant to the president and general manager.
Mays finished his career batting .302 with 660 home runs, the sixth-most of all time, and 1,903 runs batted in. He holds MLB records for most putouts as an outfielder (7,095) and the most extra-inning home runs (22).

My niece hasn’t responded since September, despite me using three different mediums (SMS, WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger). My brother responds once every couple weeks but never actually answers the Washington Football College Offense Shirt. Today I threw my hands up and bought my niece’s partner an Xbox gift card (which I think is what he asked for last year) and my nephew and partner a gift card where they can choose their own experience. Hopefully they can sell the gift cards if they wouldn’t use them. I was hoping to get them something more personal, but hell, I’ve been asking for ideas for three months. With a week to go till Christmas – we’re going down on the 19th – I was getting desperate. Aside from that, this year has been…strange. I no longer buy for my father and stepmother and sisters: it seems too odd and unbalanced to be working myself to the bone to pay my mom’s bills, when my dad and sisters all have money, and then going without so I can buy them gifts. And I don’t currently have any friends – I’ve lost them all in the last year – so no expenses there, either.

ESPN "Similar to Adames… will receive more than $100 million in FA."
"Kim Ha-sung (29, San Diego Padres) is one month younger than Willy Adames (29, Milwaukee Brewers), who is similar in attack and defense."
Neither injury, lackluster performance, nor bad luck lowered Kim Ha-sung's value.
ESPN, a U.S. sports media outlet, classified Kim Ha-sung as "a Tier 3 total of between $100 million and $200 million" while dividing the grades of players who will become free agents after this season on the 21st (Korea Standard Time).
There were not many descriptions of Kim Ha-sung. Instead, he chose Adames as a comparison target. Adames, the Milwaukee Brewers' main shortstop, is considered the biggest fish among shortstops after this season. With a batting average of 0.253, 22 homers, 85 RBIs, 68 runs and 13 steals this season, he is an air defense captain with both long hit power and outstanding defense.
"Adames has consistently played as a good shortstop and has consistently recorded five phases in WAR (contributing to victory over replacements) for four consecutive seasons with above-average offense," ESPN said. "He is entering the 29-year-old season, and he is expected to sign a total of nine digits (more than $100 million) for at least five years."
Compared to Adames, the description of Kim Ha-sung was shorter, but it was enough. As for Kim Ha-sung, the media introduced, "He is similar to Adames in attack and defense, and he is a month younger." It means that the two are virtually the same level.
He has a batting average of 0.233, 11 homers, 47 RBIs, 60 runs and 22 steals this season. His pace has significantly declined compared to last year's batting average of 0.260 with 17 homers, 60 RBIs, 84 runs and 38 steals. Notably, his batting average was significantly lower than that of last year's 0.306. The OPS (on-base plus slugging percentage) was 107 last year, which was calculated based on the average of the league, but it is still 99 this year. The batting average (BABIP) of in-play was 0.261, which is significantly lower than that of last year's 0.306.토토사이트 추천
In addition, it has recently hit the injury issue. Kim Ha-sung threw himself to the first base check ball after getting on base with a hit in the top of the third inning against the Colorado Rockies on the 19th, and returned to the dugout after complaining of right shoulder pain. He then took a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), and San Diego coach Mike Shildt said, "We are still analyzing the test results," and added, "The results of the first checkup are quite satisfactory, but we are still gathering information and things can always get worse."
Although the ransom could fall, the local view is still expected to be optimistic considering ESPN articles. Initially, the total amount of contracts was expected to be one step lower than Adames due to sluggish performance this season, but this was also tied to the same level.
Meanwhile, along with Adames and Kim Ha-sung, third baseman Alex Bregman (Houston Astros), first baseman Pete Alonso (New York Mets), third baseman Matt Chapman and starting pitcher Blake Snell (San Francisco Giants), Max Fried (Atlanta Braves) and Jack Flaherty (LA Dodgers) were selected as third-grade FA.
Among them, the Baltimore Orioles ace and former Cy Young Award winner Corbin Burns was selected as a confirmed player with $200 million, while New York Yankees' Juan Soto was selected as a first-class player. The media predicted that Soto could sign an all-time contract, calling it "the level of GDP (gross domestic product) of a small country."
