Jayvik Modern AUs are hilarious to me because my boy Jayce is NOT playing any sports. He is NOT a jock. He is a gymbro nerd who tries to get his rich sister to play DnD with him, spends his days at the chemistry lab, plays chess and one day he suddenly needs to help the football team covering for someone because people think he must like sports. He doesn't even get along with everyone. He tries, of course, but he isn't the golden boy until the extremely rich and popular girl, president of the student-council, goes all "Popular! You're gonna be popular!" Glinda on him until he becomes popular thinking he's doing something good for the school when he isn't and he's getting carried away by fame and parties when all he truly wants is being with his lab partner Viktor. At the end of the day, Arcane truly was just like High School tbh.

#i am so sorry i just don't think jayce would willingly play any sports if he can choose something else #like i'm sure he would enjoy it bc team sports AND he can also be extremely smart and be at the lab at the same time but #i think if my boy is doing something he's spending 24/7 of his time with science #he'd skip training to be with viktor like my boy is not the captain team at all unless his brain gets eaten by the worms of popularity #this is not jock meets nerd btw this is be more chill??????? my idea for the bone monster is like what if a T rex was quadruped with accessory bone-sword arms that didn't touch the ground and also a massive and very long prehensile tail and face spikes.

#i unexpectedly have a newsies oc and he's my new favorite character #i was telling my brother about a dream i had #where i was unexpectedly cast in a school production of newsies (courtesy of my summertime 'listening to the soundtrack on repeat)'#(i have now realized that 'unexpectedly getting a role in a school musical' is a recurring dream subgenre)#(which is extra weird since i have never acted in anything beyond the one musical i was forced into last minute because i was in choir)#and there was a question of whether i would be included in the chorus at the beginning #given that i was also playing katherine #and the deciding factor was apparently going to be how good the newsboy cap looked with my hair #they decided that it looked stupid #and anyway as i was telling my brother about the dream debate over whether i would be part of the chorus or not #he (true to form) referenced arthur with 'if you were in the chorus you could have a claw'#and i was immediately DELIGHTED with the possibility of playing a newsie named clawey #the little mutant boy with one lobster claw who escaped from a lab in the sewers #and now has to sell newspapers to survive #and anyways now i am absurdly attached to clawey #in my head he is part of the strike but just always off-screen and newsies now exists in a sci-fi world #and there's no reason to tell you this except what is tumblr for except to talk about your weird inside joke ocs

so insane to me that in last past approximately 3 month ive written 11 full pieces and altogether about 61k words when pretty much never before have i written this fast or consistently so wild stuff all around

genuinely don’t know what kind of insane addictive chemicals they are injecting into the silt verses (the chemicals are called marvelous writing and heart-wrenching performance but shhh) but my god it has me in a chokehold, already so excited to continue on in the new year too

not to be annoying or anything but it's been 9 years since the release of indie game undertale

#It's. One of my special interests #Like I have identifying Mediterranean animals on sight and I have memorizing every line of dialog in undertale #Those are my things. And I did recognize a seagul once by the sound while jetlagged and not paying attention so #Tbh I should probably play the game sometime. But also it'd be very funny to not play it #And then one day just like. Idk. Live stream playing undertale for the first time. But doing it w a blindfold #Check how far my knowledge spans for a person who has never once played the game #Like. I know muffets attacks are a repeating pattern. I know some attacks have audio so I'd use that as a guide #I'd go easy route on toriel and papyrus bc I know you can skip those by being bad at game #And I'm pretty sure I could memorize mad dummy patterns bc I remember there being like. A trick in the code #For if you're bad at the fight #Also you get astro food right before so I'd have good healing #So. Yeah the undyne and asgore and omega flowey fights are really the only things I have to watch out for I think??#Esp since I'm gonna do a bunch of tricks to get out of certain fights #Like. The thing with doing armor switches rapidly on mettaton for fast ratings boosts #Or the lowering of hp on mad dummy after the first hit so the fight can't last beyond a set number of turns if you're shit at it #Tbh yeah undyne is the only one that's actually scary all the way until asgore. That said I also think you can like. Skip that bit entirely #Like by backtracking before new home to get the undyne letter and doing true lab first. I think #Because that's the bit that's the true pacifist thing to do. Which actually true lab also scary #Like ok snowys mom and endogeny are easy but lemon bread and the memory heads are actually hard esp if u cant see #Also reaper bird but only after the everyman gets ate by the whimsun attack flies so I'm not super duper scared #And. I plan on temmie armor after mettaton. And bandage until then for running away from encounters #Just straight up my first time playing the game will be with a blindfold on and livestreamed #(I'd flex especially in that one echo flower room where if you kill toriel flowey taunts you with it)#But until then! Happy 9 years of being extremely neurodivergent :D

I'm starting to love the soft, dream-like quality of the Smena Symbol's lens the more I shoot with my crisp 00s telephoto on the SLR the more unique the '77 Soviet camera's photos look

#35mm film #san antonio #texas #film photography #photographers on tumblr #smena #smena symbol #reformed film labs 400iso #this is really one of my new favorite films #the halation effects hint that its probably some sort of pre-processed kodak vision 3 (250D probably?)#but unlike Dubblefilm Treat it doesn't have that cool blue tint but instead a lovely warm one #and much less overexposed in the halation than the Dubblefilm or Cinestill 400 turned out though that might have been me doing it on purpos #since the Smena was the only of those three I shot manually - usually I test new films in a camera that can do auto but the low cost of tha #film inspired me to play around with it. I'll probably shoot another in a camera with a lightmeter to see how it SHOULD perform lmfao
