I'm starting to love the soft, dream-like quality of the Smena Symbol's lens the more I shoot with my crisp 00s telephoto on the SLR the more unique the '77 Soviet camera's photos look
#35mm film#san antonio#texas#film photography#photographers on tumblr#smena#smena symbol#reformed film labs 400iso#this is really one of my new favorite films#the halation effects hint that its probably some sort of pre-processed kodak vision 3 (250D probably?)#but unlike Dubblefilm Treat it doesn't have that cool blue tint but instead a lovely warm one#and much less overexposed in the halation than the Dubblefilm or Cinestill 400 turned out though that might have been me doing it on purpos#since the Smena was the only of those three I shot manually - usually I test new films in a camera that can do auto but the low cost of tha#film inspired me to play around with it. I'll probably shoot another in a camera with a lightmeter to see how it SHOULD perform lmfao
