They paused before saying “to her” and it was so funny

Also they misspelled Isabeau twice 😔 we shall prevail

I'm really not sure why the RNG decided that Astarion and Gale were fighting Ketheric alone last night in this cutscene, but I'm kind of into it.

Literally the whole party was there, right behind them, but the camera just said. Nope. Bloodweave.

Also, looking at it up close, Gale's arms folded posture is so much more of a self-comfort chronic pain gesture than a "dad disapproves" gesture. Poor thing.

things I did in my first time playing titanfall 2:

does have spoilers but I don’t think it is anything major? Could probably add more too

-somehow not realize I was supposed to kill people in the gauntlet and just ran/wall run through the whole thing (still somehow got a good enough time to be recommended regular difficulty) I also went through it 5 more times and only noticed on like the third that I was penalized for not killing enemies/I was supposed to

-Forgot I had grenades and rarely used them

-somehow managed to beat the whole entire thing on normal (I’m not great at games so I’m very proud of myself for that)

-knew the ending for a while yet it still hit hard

-punched people almost as often as I shot them

-tone wasn’t my favourite (still isn’t) but it was the one I managed to kill the apex predators with mainly

-missed the majority of helmets - I got under 10

-get lost/confused on what to do many times

-managed to execute every apex titan except for Kane yet can’t for any regular enemy

-wasn’t sure what to do when the arc tool MRVN was sad so just kicked him as that would hopefully put him out of his misery

-used the arc tool to get robots since I could

-didn’t figure out how the auto lock core worked

-as soon as it was done since I wanted more I tried to jump straight into multiplayer

I'm not very far into it yet (just now exited Alex's apartment), but I have a few thoughts so far!

Alex (m) has really cute permanent bedhead going on

He has a similar flat tone that JC had. And... the D stands for "Denton," right??? It hasn't been confirmed, but I for sure saw a clone tank in the previous game with his name on it. 🤔

The game (I'm playing the Steam version) crashes A LOT, unfortunately. It crashes and reloads every time it loads a new map, and it also crashed once when I used a multitool to open a cabinet. Luckily the game is intriguing enough for me to be able to deal with the inconvenience.

I have NO idea yet which ending from DX1 this picks up from. In fact, I'm suspicious that it's some combination of the three. "The collapse" that some people blame JC for could be all the tech shutting down, although it sure seems to have been restored quick. The Illuminati's doing? And what's going on with the new religious faction? Did Helios become a god after all? The mystery is really exciting to me.

That guy in the opening cutscene sounds SO much like Walton Simons to my ear. 👀
