Can finally post these and make more now that I properly introduced him in that recent comic.

My guy gets the 2nd most character development among the adults despite being in the background (though I did plan like 3 “episodes” focused on him in earlier days of AU)

Bonus info for him!

-Based off red footed tortoise

-Originally wielded metal claws but scrapped it. He very much prefers fighting with his bare hands as his skin/shell is super durable and it’s easier to manage. Nails can extend/retreat if he wants it to.

-Beat up Leo after their first encounter. Later on Raph beat the shit out of him when he realized who he is (post-movie) (also got a few hits on him, but left the tortoise in way worst shape). Leo didn’t tell Raph who or what happened, Raph just connected the dots.

-He has four other siblings. Three older (Bidi, Calavo, and ‘Leatherhead’) and one younger (‘Mondo’). He does not get along well with any of them. Closest is Mondo but that’s because the lil guy puts up with them all due to fear. They are mutated by the same scientist and not by the oozequitos, thus does not have ‘magical’ abilities.

-Had anger/trust issues but it’s resolved later on. Mended relationship with Mondo afterwards.

-Later on gets along with Turbo and her cousins really well. And new hamato siblings

-Dated Leo (23) for a couple months before they broke up mutually. Then dated Raph for like a week (to help Raph’s bi-curiosity). He’s currently (present day) dating someone else in an unserious relationship.

-Slash is 3 years older than Leo.

-Slash is an alias he made up on the spot. But he very soon preferred it over the name his family gave him.

-Slash and Raph really didn’t like each other at first but are currently best friends.

Anatomy practice with my boys Taka, Kiyo, and Mondo, I gotta learn how to draw muscles and abs better

Technically this is fanart for the ParentTrap!AU by @mickules since I used their design for the Ultimate Devil's Advocate Kiyondo Ishida. I love that AU and pretty much any AU with Kiyondo being a lil shit.

Mondo is just there. I'm hoping he actually looks good. I used many different references for his body including his actual sprites and some fanarts (Including the Mondo Owada body pillow art I stumbled upon during my search)

I took a lot of creative liberties with Taka and Kiyo's face and hair. I like the thought that they are identical twins, but I also wanted to individualize them (I even went as far as coloring their eyes with 2 different materials as another reference to the ParentTrap!AU where Mondo notices that they have 2 different colored eyes)

I wanted to incorporate Kiyo's fire in a more realistic, but cool way so he has flames on his hair and pubes. You're welcome.

Decent Performance:

33. Ryoma: Very talented VA, but that's his normal range (a bit lower) and not many POWERFUL lines were delivered (unlike Tanaka's.)

32. Kazuichi (bc I alr did Mukuro): Ay I love Kazuichi, his performance was nice, just not the best yk?

31. Tsumugi: Haven't finished V3, I love Tsumugi but her performance is like her catchphrase. Just "Plainly-Plain" (might change later idk bro.)

30. Maki: I've grown to like her, (I'm up tp CHP.4 yippers!) but I'm WAITING for her to have her MOMENT where she's crying and screaming. I know she will. C'mon DR LET HER CRYYY-

29. Mahiru: She's decent, I like her, just not much giving yk?

28. Ibuki: Very talented VA, amazing and fun range, nice energy. Nothing jaw dropping, I enjoyed it.

27. Hajime: He drops some banger ass lines bro like goddam lil bro chillax buddy. I quite like it... I like when he realises it's Nanami and is in denial. Good job VA.

26. Mondo: AUGH HIS VOICE IS SO SATISFYING IMMA BE REAL- It's not the usual stuff his VA does but I enjoyed his performance.

25. Gonta: Ay better performance than his counter-part (same va) Hiro. He's pretty good so far, innocent too.

24. Aoi: I don't really remember trial 4 that well tbh... I didn't like it though. But I do kinda enjoy Aoi. She has nice pitch, and when she gets mad her VA puts alot into it, almost top of her tier gj.

23. Same VA as Aoi, I enjoy her performance. Her voice is fun and different, contrasting the rest of the cast with her accent. Bonus points for going from Aoi to Angie in 5 seconds.

NOT TALKED ABOUT ENOUGH!!!

22. Teruteru: Augh I love this stupid litte man for his stupid little voice. Even though he's a creep his lines are delivered VERY well, and even his accent is great. That's some talent that we NEED to talk about more often.

21. Sayaka: Babes talked three times in official-art moments and does NOT get enough credit. I enjoyed her scenes and wish that she was in a class trial.

20. Leon: Omg leosaya order?! /hj. Y'all sleeping on Grant George, like goddam. When he gets mad, he gets mad. Talk about Leon more, give this man some credit his performance was excellent!

19. Miu: Augh I don't know how to explain the itch Miu scratches whenever she speaks. Even her "VIRGIN WHORE" moment voice lines just AUGHHH. The VA was picked SO well here, it suits her perfectly and I'm tired of pretending Miu = Hifumi because they're both pervy characters. GODDAMIT MIU WAS USEFUL!

18. Hiyoko: I do not care what you say, she ATE. She fucking devoured that second trial bro, my respect went up when she did all'at. God bro I find Hiyoko mid, one of my least favourite characters, but god her VA is so talented.

17. Shuichi: I don't think I need to explain too much, but god SHUICHI!!! When Grant George is given the time to develop... augh. "Kaede... that's just so cruel..." YOU CAN HEAR THE PAIN. TALK ABOUT THIS MAN MORE!!!

16. Jill/Syo: I know she has tiktok sounds, but she did so well. She ate every single line up, she used all of her screentime so well! I genuinely love her performance, and I don't even like her!

15. Tenko: So talented... you guys please hear me out (I'M NOT BIASED AT ALL.) but when she gets official art and moments in trials that's when she flourishes. "QUICK! OPEN THE CURTAIN, ALREADY!" like so satisfying Idc what y'all say she ate it up.

14. Himiko: After Chapter 2 she just... utilised the rest of her screentime. SHE CRIED, SHE SCREAMED, SHE USED HER EMOTIONS LIKE TENKO SAID!!! I love Himiko, and she is super underrated.

13. KOREKIYO: <- THIS DUDE IS THE REASON I MADE THIS TIER LIST. GOD HE IS NOT TALKED ABOUT ENOUGH!!! I don't care about the incest plot, his FANTASTIC voice acting lets him off the hook.Not just when he snaps, but when he screams!

10. Mikan: WHEN SHE SNAPS AND GOES INSANE, OH MY GOD SHIVERS. SHE DID SO WELL. "WHY DOESN'T ANYBODY FORGIVE ME?!?!!?!?" LIKE I CAN HEAR IT SO CLEARLY SHE DID SO GOOD BRO AUGHHHH.

9. Nekomaru: "THIS IS NEKOMARU NIDAI'S FINAL FIREWORK!" "AIR CONDITIONERS?!?!?!?" "SHIIIIIIIITTTTTT!!!" He put so much power and energy into every. single. line. EVEN HIS SINGLE-FILE VOICE LINES!!! He made it sound so natural like he talks like that every day, and props to the VA for such dedication. Respect for Neko-Nation.

8. Gundham: Augh he delivers every line so beautifully in his trial. "THIS IS FOR THE TANAKA EMPIRE!" the power behind his voice and his hero-complex make me so happy. Every time he lost it in his trial I got LITERAL CHILLS. A fantastic perfect performance oh my goddd.

7. Kaede: I don't care what y'all say she WAS SO GOOD. "I'm nothing but a cold-blooded killer!" and that scream at the end of argument anament was FIREEE! I love her sm, and her VA did so much better as Kaede then as Kyoko.

6. Celestia: I dislike Celestia, but oh my god she did so well. The quiet reserved character snaps is definetely a chapter 3 trope favourite. I hate Trail and Chapter 3 THH, but that just shows how well Celes performed, her VA went INSANE for this role, and I love that she ate it.

5. Kokichi: He deserves this spot, he does so well, every single trial, every single performance, every voice line, every interaction. It truly embodies the spirit of "chaos" yk? (Just finished trial 4 and he deserves to be 3rd on the list.)

4. Kaito: LUMINARY OF THE STARS! I don't need to say more do I? (I'm lazy pls send helppp)

YOU POURED YOUR HEART AND SOUL INTO THIS PERFORMANCE!!!:

3. Fuyuhiko: AUGH SO SATISFYING, ESPECIALLY IN THE SECOND TRIAL. He does an amazing job, has fantastic range and AUGHHHHH HIS VOICE IS SO SATISFYING.

2. Ishimaru: The amount of sheer power in every voice line astounds me every time he speaks. From "I assert that the one who was murdered was Miss Sayaka Maizono!" to "Why are you all trying to frame him?!" and everything in between, he deserves this spot on the list.

Kirumi: All we see of her is calm and reserved until she snaps. She KEEP FIGHTING until the very end. You can hear the pain in her voice, how she IS BREACHING HER LIMIT during her "I WILL NOT DIEEEE segment." also, YOU CAN HEAR HER SCREAMING IN HER EXECUTION, let me show you.

Shuichi came up with the grand idea of putting Himiko’s computer in the summoning circle. We weren’t expecting anything to come of it.

However...

This kid popped up. Told us her name was Chihiro. Ultimate Programmer. Her memory blanks somewhere in Hope’s Peak, Killing Game, hung out with someone named Mondo... definitely died to them. Cute lil’ shit, and really good at coding (which made the door job easy), but... it raises a few questions.

Namely who is she???!

i. feel like i need to say one more thing about fanon ishimondo. and i’m gonna get a lil more serious because this shit genuinely makes me so mad. so. tw for sa. yeah.

i am so fucking sick of people making taka what i can only describe as a slut. i am so fucking sick of people treating him, one of only a few autistic coded characters, as nothing more than an innocent baby. i am so fucking sick of people portraying him as a trans man only to infantilize and sexualize him. but most of all, i am so. fucking. sick. of portraying taka as a victim of sexual assault/rape only to turn around and hypersexualize him even one fanfic later. and i say this as a trans man who is most likely autistic and who has gone through an assault. i think my opinion has a little bit of weight here.

listen, i don’t want to kinkshame. like what you like, peace and love, yada yada. but much like my problems with booktok, i can’t in good conscience treat things like coercion and borderline abuse as simple kinks to project onto your blorbos. things like sexual assault can be incorporated in media, but it needs to be done respectfully. coming from someone who’s had someone violate my boundaries, there is a huge difference between something like mouthwashing and half of the hot yaoi ishimondo fanfics on ao3.

ao3 is kind of a cesspool, what else is new. i’m not gonna be calling specific names out because as pissed as i am, i’m not that much of a dick. but a lot of fics on ao3 play into why ishimondo doesn’t have the. best reputation in the danganronpa fandom. taka is so horribly mischaracterized that it genuinely makes me want to rip my eyes out of their sockets. either he’s an innocent baby who needs his big strong boyfriend to guide him through anything sex, or he’s a big slutty slut who takes it up the ass and knows everything about sex. it’s like kinda inconsistent to have him as both lmao. and again, one is super infantilizing, and the other is horribly out of character. especially when his personality is like borderline retconned from fic to fic.

my biggest problem though is the portrayal of taka as a victim of sexual assault. and again, i say this as someone who has gone through having my boundaries violated for nearly 2 years.

it DISGUSTS me that people will portray taka as a victim of rape for one fic, yet will retcon it for the sake of writing more stereotypical yaoi. it DISGUSTS me that people will portray mondo as abusive and coercive towards taka, to have an element of corruption and taka realizing that “oh he does actually like this.”

IF TAKA IS BEING COERCED, HE IS NOT CONSENTING. if phrases like “you want this don’t you” are being said, that is not consent. even if taka responds yes, he is not consenting, because a precedent has been set along the lines of corrupting the model student into a slut. THE ONLY WAY TAKA CAN GIVE CONSENT IS IF HE EXPLICITLY AGREES WITH NO PRIOR PRECEDENT.

at some point, i can’t peace and love this shit. write what you want, fiction doesn’t affect reality, until you’re literally writing about taka fantasizing about being raped. until you’re actively playing into harmful stereotypes about gay relationships. until you’re treating sexual abuse as a plotline of one fic.

i know i’ve missed things i wish i talked about in this rant, but the mischaracterization and infantilization of taka (and honestly, sexual assault victims) pisses me the hell off. and i wish i didn’t need to talk about this. but i have a serious problem with this. taka i’m so sorry for what the fandom did to you.

When she was younger Gabriella, Taka's mom, always wanted a daughter and not for the "oh yeah she will be calmer" or stuff like that. It was a very specific reason. She wanted her daughter to wear her wedding dress, the same one her own mother got married in. (At least for the ceremony, like i said she is Christian.)

When she got married to Takaaki, she was alredy pregnant, her mother didn't really care about that though, after all she had her first baby out of wedlock too. She was just happy to have her kids after so many years of dreaming of it.

When they learned that her baby wasn't a girl, she was sad but she was conforted by the Idea that her baby boy may get a girlfriend one day and that she could maybe talk her into that ! It was genius idea !

She watched her kid grow not really thinking too much into Taka's friendship, but still keeping an eyes over it.

But now, she is gonna watch her baby get married to a man. A manly one out of that. No way she could get any of them to do her idea... Don't get her wrong ! She was happy for her niño precioso's wedding ! She just wished her dream could have become truth.

She mentioned it. Once or twice to Taka but she never though he remmember, how wrong of her.

Because on his side Taka was getting ready after the ceremony, helped by Aoi, Kyoko, and Sayaka to put on his mother old wedding dress. Sure he was a bit embarassed but with Sayaka it wasn't the first time he wore a dress and to be honest... He just wanted to do something nice for his mom, she always supported him in everything he did.

"And it would be a nice surprise for Mondo" Aoi had said, yes. I guess that is point to count. A little bonus. Just a little though. Even if Kirigiri is smirking slightly at his word.

So here he was walking back into the reception, and before Mondo could stutter even a word his mom trew herself at him, crying and thanking him for his beautiful gift.

Kiyondo, who wasn't on the surprise, first grumbled that he could have helped Taka with the dress himself but then started to embarassed and making hum hum sus remarques

He mostly told to keep the "kinky stuff" in their bedroom and "to not rub their weird shit in their face". What a great brother.

And Takaaki on the other who just got over the fact that Taka was married, cried even more when he saw his son, looking so similar from his ex wife and so perfect. What an emotional guy <33

So This past Tuesday we went to see the new Ninja Turtles we were originally suppose to go see Oppenheimer but plans changed last minute so we ended up going to see Ninja Turtles. I was very interested in this movie and followed it production. Much like Transformers I'm a life long Turtles fan so I was curious about it being I think Turtles stuff should look a certain way and somethings that have been done in recent years such as Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles I didn't like. I never watched an episode but I just think the character designs look like shit and I wasn't going to watch it becasue of that anyway on as for this movie I needed to see the character designs for this movie before I would do anything and happy to say I did like these designs but more on that below. Also yes there was some collectable goodies for this movie too which you can see here!

Now as for this movie. I thought it was great! I would have to say that I did enjoy it it was fun and funny at times and I do feel it has a nice message about family and acceptance and finding a place where you feel like you belong in the world.

Now this is a bit of a origin story and tries to reintroduce the turtles to a new and modern audiences. They are younger in this movie then they usually are in other forms of media the turtles are all 15 years old and not only that but April is also in her teens in this as well she is also around 15 and is still in High School in this movie

The Turtles origin is of course slightly different in this one. It is close to the familiar way the Turtles become mutants but its slightly changed as in how they became Ninjas. Also the origins of the other Mutant characters in this is changed as well. I think that did that just for the sake of the story and it does work in the context of this movies story.

As for the designs of the characters which as I mentioned was a very important thing I felt that the Turtle designs in this were actually very good they were different and did match the ages that the Turtles were shown as they were young and child like almost playing up the "Teenage" aspect of who they are. Some of the other characters looked great too like Bebop and Rocksteady and I love how they brought in various characters from Turtles lore like Leatherhead,Mondo Gecko, Wingnut (what no screwloose??), Genghis Frog, Ray Fillet, and more. Where its great that alot of these classic character appear on screen many of them don't look like their source material counterparts which is kind of a shame.

Now also another thing is the whole new April in this. She was alright for this she was written well and well voice acted and an interesting character in how she is presented. Now I could have done with out the whole puking stuff which was just a bit gross but also I know alot of people complained about her appearance and I can't say I would complain about it myself but I am a bit more old school and do prefer the more classic April with the short red hair and yellow track suit lol but this April was fine for this version of the characters.

Now like I said the movie is pretty great it was a lil bit funny and a lil bit weird but like I said it also nice message about family and acceptance and finding a place where you feel like you belong in the world. The animation was very nice and smooth and the artistic style of the movie where it all looks like it is sketched and painted to have that more comic book look and feel kinda reminded me of how the Spider-Verse movies look. but the voice acting and the music as well as the many references are really nicely done.

I feel the ending of the movie tho is a bit strange where they took it but over all I thought it was great and if you are a Turtle fan then I would probably recommend it.

also there is a mid credit sequence that is interesting and kinda sets up a possible sequel.

Director's Commentary! ☆☆☆: Chapter 14 from "The Problem With Mondo" although I can be specific if you wish it

"Oh, shit, if it ain’t lil’ Mondo Fuckin’ Owada, goddamn. How the fuck is it goin’, kid? S’only been, what... a year, two, since ya last called?"

"Oh, yeah? Yer just ‘in Tokyo’ now? Like I don’t fuckin’ know that yer attendin’ that pretentious as fuck institute. Ya don’t call me since yer brother died, an’ all I fuckin’ get is ‘I’ve been busy,’ ‘fore ya go on with yer request. Well, if ya want me ta do whatever the fuck ya need done, yer gonna hafta give more detail than that, squirt. How the fuck did that even happen? Didn’t think Hope’s fuckin’ Peak would be the kind ta take in a biker. Ain’t like ya don’t deserve it, but damn, kid. Goin’ places, ain’t ya?"

"So, fucking... leave me the hell alone. I’m gonna fucking leave now and I- I don’t ever wanna see yer goddamn face again. Forget my number and never contact me again. You understand me?"

I care deeply for Daisuke and Mondo's relationship

Oooh, thank you!! Honestly I had forgotten I had reblogged this, so when I saw this ask when I was at my internship this morning I was like "..... HUH????"

But! I do have a lot of commentary for that chapter, so this is a great one to do! And I'm glad you like their relationship!! I love it too, so I'm happy that other people do as well.

First, I'll do a general commentary, then do the specific ones you asked about. I'll do a read more here to prevent this from ruining someone's dash, ha.

What this ask is referring to:

Fanfic Writers: Director’s Cut

So, chapter 14. Originally, it had been a lot different when I came up with it than what I ended up writing. I actually remember that I had been at work when I came up with the idea for the chapter. I had been walking with the kids (I'm an elementary after school teacher) during their walking/running club during our weird COVID return year, and I had been thinking of what I wanted to write later when I got home. Originally, I had wanted Mondo to call in a favor from an old friend to get the helmet and wine all in one. The friend was going to be about his age, maybe Daiya's age, and I think I was going to have them be more like a lackey or something. Someone who wasn't super important to Mondo. They still were going to be all "dude that sounds like a date, wow." Mondo wasn't going to get angry or anything, though, more like "pssh, NO IT ISN'T, ugh."

However, when I got to writing it, I got the idea for the "old friend" to be an older biker. And then I thought it would be cool if it were like... an old mentor. And then I was like... but wait. What if it was an old mentor of DAIYA'S???? And then... Daisuke was born, ha. Also, random, but I hadn't meant for both Daiya and Daisuke to have Dai in their names, I just was looking at male Japanese names, and liked that one. It also means "great help," apparently, which may also have been part of why I named him that, but I don't quite remember.

The more I wrote Daisuke and Mondo together, the more I liked them, honestly. I began to really like the idea of Daiya having a mentor that Mondo was distant with, mostly due to guilt and wanting to prove himself. I kind of regretted not being able to have Daisuke in the story more, since it wouldn't have made much sense with the constraints I had with following TPWP. But I think it makes sense why Mondo wouldn't want to talk to Daisuke again after everything that happened. With how repressed Mondo was, he couldn't even think of seeing Daisuke again after everything he said. Even with where Mondo is now in the story, which him being more accepting of his feelings, the thought of talking to Daisuke would be unbearable to him.

Now! As much as I'd love to go on and on forever, I do need to stop or else this ask will be the length of TPWP and TPWM combined. So, here's the commentary on your sections.

(I'm going to talk about the entire scene with Mondo and Daisuke here, since it will be easier than just the paragraphs you put, if that's okay.)

For this scene, I mostly wanted to get some exposition about Mondo and Daisuke's relationship out of the way, letting y'all know how Mondo knew this person he's calling, as well as explaining why the man was never mentioned before this scene. An estranged mentor figure seemed the best way to go. Also, fun fact: I kind of based Daisuke off of Bobby Singer, from Supernatural. I had written my SPN fic before writing TPWP, so I was familiar with writing Bobby.

When looking at the rest of that scene, I mostly wanted to show that Daisuke knew Mondo really well, and that he could tell pretty much immediately that Mondo at least really liked Taka, if not was in love with him. Daisuke always suspected Mondo was bi, and even suspected that of Daiya (since in this universe, I kind of figure that Daiya was also bi, but because of his hatred of his father, denied it as strongly as Mondo always did. Maybe even more so, since Daiya had to be the "big brother" and take care of his little bro), which I wanted to show in this scene without being too explicit.

Overall, I just... wanted to have Mondo and Daisuke to have a realistic relationship to one another. I wanted to show that Mondo has someone out there who knows him and who cares about him, even if Mondo is too damaged and guilt ridden to see it. I also wanted to set up for the next scene, which I'll talk about next.

"So, fucking... leave me the hell alone. I’m gonna fucking leave now and I- I don’t ever wanna see yer goddamn face again. Forget my number and never contact me again. You understand me?"

"I... shit. Fuckin’... shit. Still so fuckin’ stubborn, ain’t ya...? God... god fuckin’ dammit. Fine. Fine. Ya wanna live the rest a’ yer life with yer head in the goddamn sand, be my fuckin’ guest. Cut me out, don’t talk ta me ever again. Do whatever the fuck ya like. "

Now, THIS scene... so, the whole second scene with Mondo and Daisuke was where I wanted Mondo to hear from someone who knows him intimately that he is straight up in love with Taka. Rather than just hearing it from a newly acquired friend, like Leon, he's hearing it from someone who has known him since he was "a snot nosed little kid," which makes it more meaningful to Mondo.

This scene here, this is Mondo rejecting it. He doesn't want to hear what Daisuke has to say. He doesn't want to acknowledge his love for Taka, or hear from someone who knows him that what he's feeling isn't platonic, brotherly feelings. So, he reacts the only way he knows how, which is to push people away through any means possible. However, instead of getting blindingly angry, he grows cold and closed off. This is my way of showing that Mondo is truly upset by what Daisuke said. He's not responding with his usual anger, but a different, more potent and frigid anger. Anger mixed with fear, I suppose. I just... wanted to show how terrified Mondo was to love Taka. He wasn't just angry with Daisuke. He was terrified.

And Daisuke saw that. He realized in this moment just how repressed Mondo was, and in that paragraph, Daisuke was seeing just how dead set Mondo was on being miserable for the rest of his life. And it made him feel both angry on Mondo's behalf, but also resigned. You can't make anyone do anything or see things the way you see them, even people you love, and Daisuke was feeling that there. It's why I had him go on to say that Mondo shouldn't let Taka go easily, to hold on and never let go. He knew Mondo was stubborn as a bull and would likely never contact him again, so he didn't want him to leave without having someone-- anyone-- tell him how important Taka was for him.

Mostly, I wanted Mondo to hear from a source that knew him how important Taka was, and I wanted to show how violently Mondo reacted to hearing it. But not just violently; differently, too. It's not his usual anger. It's more. But then, later on, he still goes on that not-a-date date with Taka, he still holds him close and looks up at the stars. He still loves him, even with how terrified he is, since it's not something he can just ignore anymore. Even if he wants to reject Taka and his love, he physically can't. That's why he got the wine and not the whiskey. That's why he took Taka on the ride even despite his earlier terror. He loves him so much that he can't be away from him even when he's scared.

Overall, Daisuke's role was to open Mondo's eyes to his feelings, and for Mondo to force his eyes shut. I wanted y'all to know that MONDO KNOWS how he feels. He knows, he knows, he knows. But he doesn't want to know, and so he doesn't. If any of that makes any sense and isn't just pretentious babble 😅

So! I'm done, ha. Sorry for the avalanche of text, but I guess that's what you signed up for with that ask. Basically, I have a lot of thoughts and feelings about Daisuke and Mondo's relationship, and if I weren't so burnt out with everything going on, I would write a sequel with Daisuke in it. I had been starting a fic with Taka accidentally meeting Daisuke, based on an ask I got, but it's sadly on the indefinite backburner too. I really like the idea of Mondo having an older, mentor figure who was close to Daiya, though, and it makes me very happy to know other people liked that dynamic too. Thanks a lot for the ask, I really appreciated it!! :-D

"BASTARD!!!" *yuma's door is kicked open as mondo stands threateningly in the doorway, preventing the poor boy from escaping! he takes a few steps in, his footsteps heavy as he reaches behind him and slams the door shut, keeping his furious gaze focused solely on yuma!*

"You think you're hot shit, hu? Think I wouldn't hear what you've been sayin' about me, hu?!" *the enraged biker is cracking his knuckles as he traps the small detective against the wall and ominously looms over him, a strained smile on the biker's face*

"You piece of shit... I'll show you exactly what happens to everyone who messes with the leader of the Crazy Diamonds!!" *mondo clenches his fist and pulls it back, putting all his strength into this one punch before aiming right at yuma! however... mondo stops himself right before he makes impact with yuma's face, the biker instead using his index finger to gently flick yuma's nose?!*

*it's then that mondo starts uproariously laughing to the point where his face is a light pink as he flops onto the ground, clutching his stomach as he frantically kicks his legs in the air!!*

"Kyahaha~!!! You should have seen your face!! What a riot~!! Master, you can totally be the boke in a manzai duo, your mug would have every comedy club in tears!!"

"-?!" Yuma jumped badly at the sound of that, and Mondo screaming his name. His face grows pale as he looks up at the enraged biker!! "H...Huh?! M-Mondo? Wh-What's wrong..?" He meekly asks, emitting a tiny yelp when Mondo slams the door shut!! Now he's really trapped in here!!

"A-Ah....wah...?" Yuma takes shakey footsteps back as Mondo slowly approaches, gulping when he feels his back against the wall. And the things the biker was spouting, confused him even more!! "Th... Things about you? Wh-What are you talking about?! I haven't been saying anything bad about you, I-I swear!! You know I wouldn't...!"

Had someone been telling Mondo that Yuma did? No, even as a joke, he couldn't imagine anyone in the house doing something like that to him. So why, he wonders... was Mondo so strange?? He's never acted this way towards him...! "N-Now, now.... let's all calm down a-and talk about this, okay? I-I'm sure there's a big misunderstanding, he-"

Then his face grows a hundred times paler with Mondo balls his fist, and screams!! "-eeeere?!? Gyaaaah!!!" ("Sh... Shinigami!! D-Do something, take us to the Mystery Labyrinth or something before he...!!") Desperately trying to shield his face with his arms, he was about to brace himself to take a nasty punch to the face...until.... "...Huh?" He feels a...gentle flick to his nose, instead? And then seeing Mondo start.... laughing?!

"....?????" Yuma couldn't even describe the amount of confusion he was feeling right now, as he now slides down against the wall. "H-Huh..what is...going..."

And then... he hears Shinigami talk. "Sh... Sh-Shinigami?! Is that you?! No wonder you weren't saying anything!! You're possessing Mondo?!" And then his high confusion and shock, turns into exasperation and full blown pouting as he now heals over and starts furiously pummeling Mondo's chest!! "D-Damn you! That was not funny!! I-I almost had a heart attack!! Sorry about this, Mondo..!!' Then once he got all his lil pummels out, he... flops right on top of the biker's chest. He can still feel his heart racing rapidly....

Then, he mutters into it: "... Please. Never posses anyone, again.... and get out of him. My curiosity is officially satiated, forever... "

Tropical Vacation pt. 1

Hey hi hello! So I'm going to be starting to post the 50 follower special over the course of this week, I have proof read 10,000 words worth of writing so hopefully by the time I have all the parts already written posted, I'll have the rest of it done or almost done!

There aren't any real tickles In this part because I was setting up for the rest of the story, but there's a close encounter near the end. Next part will have lots of tickles!

It was a normal day In Hope’s peak academy-- If there was ever such a thing. The students were gathered In the dining hall eating breakfast as they normally do and chatting amongst themselves.

The energy was pretty calm today, Hiro cheerfully pointed out upon arriving, only to be told not to jinx them.

But alas, all good things must come to an end.

“Hey, do you hear something?” Makoto asked hesitantly. Kyoko nodded and closed her eyes momentarily, focusing on the odd sound.

“It sounds like… Ocean waves.” She concluded, her lavender eyes scanning the room curiously.

“Ocean waves? Why would we be hearing the ocean?” Makoto pondered aloud.

“Hina, Is that not what It sounds like to you?” Kyoko asked the swimmer, who had perked up at the mention of the ocean.

“You’re totally right! I hear It too!” She agreed.

Leon looked to his left where a speaker was attached to a support beam. “It’s coming from over here. Don’t tell me, Monokuma…” he trailed off with a heavy sigh.

As if he were Beetlejuice and his name had been mentioned 3 times, a wild Monokuma appeared from out of seemingly nowhere. “I thought you students might benefit from a change in scenery! I wouldn’t want you getting TOO depressed, You might get too depressed to kill anyone!”

The whole room heaved a collective sigh. “For the last fuckin’ time, We aren’t going to kill one another! So you can go fuck yourself!” Mondo snapped.

“But Robots don’t have the right parts for that!” Monokuma retorted, looking dejected. “How could you be so cruel? Pointing out my insecurities like that…”

“Yeah yeah, This Is great banter and all but--” Leon wasn’t about to sit through another hour of Mondo and Monokuma going back and forth, not after the last time. “What the hell do you mean, ‘Change of scenery’?”

“Good question, Kirishima!” Monokuma responded. “Oh, Whoops, Wrong series!”

“Has Monokuma finally lost it?” Hiro whispered. “What’s he talking about? Series?”

“I dunno... Did Monokuma ever have It to begin with, Man?” Leon whispered back.

“Anyway!” Monokuma cleared his nonexistent throat. “I thought I would liven your surroundings up with some ambience for a while, What do you think? Pretty realistic huh? You can practically feel the ocean breeze right?”

Makoto exchanged glances with Kyoko, not trusting this little shit for a second. “That’s It?”

“What? Were you expecting more?” Monokuma asked, tilting his head.

“There’s not going to be like a shark In the pool or anything… Right? This is it?” Hina asked hesitantly.

“Don’t give him ideas.” Makoto said, exasperated.

“Eh? Why would I do that? I want you to kill each other, Not become shark bait!” The bear retorted. “If you don’t believe me, go check around the school. I don’t have time to explain my feng shui to you, I have places to be!”

As abruptly as he appeared, He disappeared In an annoyed huff. Leaving the dining hall confused.

“So, Does everyone else think he’s using paranoia as a motive again or Is It just me?” Leon asked in a deadpan tone, a few students nodded in agreement.

“I for one would welcome a change in pace! Perhaps he is legitimately concerned for our mental health!” Taka spoke up. “We should absolutely check out the school after breakfast to see what’s changed!”

“T-Taka… Bro…” Mondo sighed. “Monokuma don’t give a shit about us, This Is obviously a trick.”

“What did he mean by that?” Chihiro asked quietly. “He has places to be?”

“He was probably just bullshitting us as usual.” Leon replied.

Kyoko hummed quietly, skeptical. She had also caught that unusual dialog line.

“Let us finish breakfast and then go look around.” Celeste suggested, taking a sip of her tea.

Everyone agreed and the energy of the room returned to It’s previous lightheartedness.

Upon exiting the room afterwards, the students noticed inflatable palm trees and random piles of sand scattered across the common area.

Makoto stared at the ‘decor’ In awkward silence, there’s no way it could be this harmless… right?

“It appears as though Monokuma really did do some redecorating…” Kyoko hummed thoughtfully, though not fully convinced of the remodel either.

“It’s…” Hina trailed off, an inflatable Monokuma wearing a grass skirt catching her eye.

“Tacky?” Leon suggested, kicking one of the Monokuma decorations out of his way.

She eyed a giant inflatable flamingo as she replied. “Kind of cute? I mean, At least It’s different.”

“Different, It certainly Is…” Sakura mumbled, sticking by Hina’s side just in case any of these inflatable beach toys decided to spring to life like Monokuma and try to attack the Swimmer.

“I think It looks fuckin’ stupid!” Mondo scoffed.

“Not just that, Monokuma has completely made a mess with all of this sand everywhere!” Taka seemed more outraged about the mess than the ominous looming threat.

“Sakura-- Look at that!” Hina pointed excitedly at a massive flamingo floaty. You could literally fit multiple people on it. “It’s so cute! I’m so gonna put this in the pool!”

“Hina, What do you need an inflatable this large for?” Sakura sighed. “You don’t even use them.”

“So that we can both chill on it together and pretend we’re at the beach, Duh!” Hina giggled, The martial artist couldn’t help but smile and shake her head at that.

She was about to say something in response but felt something light land on her head, She instinctively grabbed it and inspected it. It was a pink lei. “What the��� Where did this come from?”

“The fuck?” Mondo grabbed a blue lei off of his shoulder.

Hina perked up as a yellow lei landed in her hands. She looked up in the direction It came from to see Chihiro standing atop a massive duck floaty that was similar in size to the flamingo. In their hands they had several more lei’s.

“Chihiro, where did you find those? These are so cute!” Hina squealed, happily putting the lei on.

Chihiro giggled. “I found them sitting in a box next to the door.” They replied, smiling.

Sakura and Mondo both looked up at Chihiro in silence for a moment as they both processed what they were looking at. But once they did…

“CHI!” Mondo yelled, alarmed.

“Chihiro!” Sakura gasped.

“Y-Yeah?” Chihiro asked meekly, startled by the unusual reaction from their friends.

“What are you doing up there??”

“Get down from there right now before ya fall and hurt yourself!”

“What are they now, Chihiro’s parents?” Leon asked, exasperated.

“I mean, If I had to pick anyone here to be my parents, I’d pick these two.” Makoto chuckled quietly.

Chihiro frowned and went to climb off of the duck’s head but they stumbled and squeaked as they went crashing towards the floor.

Mondo dove for the small programmer but Sakura had already seen they were gonna fall so she had taken off in their direction.

Sakura managed to catch them in her arms but didn’t anticipate Mondo also diving for them, she figured Mondo would have seen she was already on it but evidently not.

Mondo ended up colliding with Sakura and the two went tumbling to the floor, luckily Chihiro hadn’t been collateral because Sakura had just put them down.

“OW FUCK!”

“Ugh…”

Leon and Hiro both cracked up laughing at the two, but quickly stopped when Taka and Hina sent them death glares.

Mondo laid there, winded. His upper half was draped across Sakura, She had tried to catch him to break his fall but underestimated how much momentum he’d built up and they both ended up hitting the floor a few times whilst they tumbled.

“Oh no! Are you guys okay?!” Chihiro gasped, rushing over to them with teary eyes. “I’m so sorry! I didn’t think anyone would get hurt!”

“Hurt? Who says... we’re hurt?” Mondo tried to put the programmer at ease, mustering up a lopsided grin. “I’m fine, what about you Sakura?”

She was silent for a moment, Most likely also winded from hitting the floor so hard.

“Sakura?” Mondo repeated, pushing himself up off of her, his hand brushing against her side. Her eyes snapped open, suddenly very alert as she jerked upwards into a sitting position.

“Y-Yes. I’m fine too.” She blushed, her arms wrapping around herself self consciously.

Mondo made a confused face. “What’s wrong? Ya hit your head?”

“No, I… Nevermind.”

Chihiro’s face scrunched with confusion too as they replayed what had just happened in their head. Then they realized. “Ohh! I think I know!”

“What Is It?” The Biker asked, turning his head to look at the small student.

“I-It’s nothing. I suppose I’m just a little bit winded from you landing on me.” She said calmly, her face unreadable.

“Well… That could be too…” They mumbled, thinking over It more carefully.

Suddenly, Hina began laughing, as she had apparently figured out what happened. “Oh my god! Mondo! Dude she--”

“Hina!” Sakura interjected quickly, sensing danger. “Don’t even think about It!”

“Will someone just tell me what the fuck is going on!?” Mondo snapped.

“I can’t say It, Because Sakura might kill me If I do.” Hina snickered.

Chihiro sat down next to the Martial artist. “Are you hurt…?” they asked quietly, putting their hand carefully on her side.

She flinched visibly and looked at the small student, blushing. “N-No. I’m fine, Really.” she tried to reassure them. Because she was too busy worrying about Chihiro, she didn’t catch the look of realization across Mondo’s face. Ohhh and the evil grin that followed…

“Sakura, Don’t tell me…” Mondo grinned as the white haired student looked back at him. “Are you ticklish?”

She recognized the almost predatory look in his eyes, and quickly put distance between them by backing up then rising to her feet. “No.” she responded In a serious tone.

Mondo stood up and was slowly advancing towards the slightly nervous woman. “I think you’re lying~”

“Taka!” Sakura said suddenly. “I think Mondo’s bleeding.”

“What!?” Taka was quickly in front of his Kyoudai, checking him for injuries, also effectively standing in his way.

“Wh-what? No-- Taka I’m fine! She’s tricking you!” Mondo stammered, incredulous that Taka would fall for such an obvious trick.

“Trick or not, I need to make sure you’re okay!”

This gave Sakura a chance to get away from the biker, sneaking past back to the safety of her room.

Once Taka was sure that Mondo wasn’t bleeding, he backed off. “Ogami! This isn’t fuckin’ over!” He called down the hall in vain.

“I believe It Is!” She called back, Hina was nearly on the floor laughing her ass off.

“S-Sorry Kyoudai…” Taka meekly apologized.

Mondo sighed. “It’s fine. You were just worried.”

Taka was about to say something else but felt a lei being placed around his neck, he looked down at it in surprise. It was red to match his eyes. “Ch-Chihiro?” he stammered, turning around to face the Programmer.

“I saved the red one for you, there was only one in the box and I thought it would look the best on you.” They smiled.

Taka teared up at the kind gesture. “Th-Thank you! I shall treasure this for as long as I shall live!”

Chihiro giggled as they hugged the strict student, making him even more teary as he returned the hug.

“Using Taka against Mondo to escape Is really smart…” Leon said quietly to Makoto and Hiro.

“Yeah, How come we never thought of that?” Hiro replied.

“That would require you all to have a functioning brain in your heads.” Celeste smiled as they gave her pointed looks.

Kyoko smirked at this, apparently agreeing with Celeste’s sentiment.

Summary: It's June 9th, which means it's our favorite dog-loving biker's birthday! And his kyoudai has early morning plans for him in the form of greeting him bright and early on his special day!

However, someone else has early morning plans as well-

Inspiration for this story comes from @mickules (hope the mention is okay :'3) and their parent trap AU featuring Taka and Ishida as brothers! To summarize, chaos ensues with both of them in the same room >:3

6:09 AM.

Of all times to be woken up from one of the best sleeps so far this early into summer break, it was this early.

However, the time served its purpose.

As Mondo reached one sleep-numb arm to the nightstand to nab his phone off the charger, the time and date were in sync. His eyes squinted at the screen, the room still being dark and him being just roused from deep slumber, and did a miniature double-take upon realization:

June 9th at 6:09 AM.

His birthday.

A humored huff left his lips and blew a few strands of bleached orange hair from his vision as he held the phone up to his ear, sleepy grin intact until a voice as loud as a freight train yanked him from his daze, causing him to almost chuck the phone against the wall.

"Happy birthday, little bro!"

Daiya, you scumbag...

"Heh, thanks Dai..." he nearly whispered, voice still deep and raspy from sleep. "But I gotta ask, was this on purpose?"

"Whaddya mean, my guy?" His older brother questioned, the smile apparent in his voice on the other line. "OH, the time! Yeahhh, that was intentional."

"What on Earth gave ya the idea to wake me up this early?" Mondo questioned, bringing his free fist to rub the sleep from his eyes.

"Oh, it was Michi's idea!" Daiya confessed. Just as he stated this, another voice came over the line, further rousing Mondo from sleep.

"Yo, s'that Mondo?" Takemichi's voice came through muffled, as if he were trying to shove Daiya out of the way so he could get to the phone. "HEY BIG GUY, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!"

Mondo squeezed his eyes shut at this second ear-blasting birthday wish, but responded the same as he did to Daiya; he ;et out a sleep-laced chuckle. "Thanks, lil dude."

"Hard to believe you're still younger than me even though you're a giant!" Daiya teased from beside Michi.

"HEY," Mondo fussed, mentally making a fist as he wanted nothing more to put Daiya in a headlock after that. "Ya don't gotta bring that up all the time, dude!"

A few belly-shaking laughs came from the older biker, and Michi, on the other line, was hunched over, wheezing himself as he slapped a hand over his knee.

"Nah, I'm just messin' with ya, big guy," Daiya reassured. "Jus' figured we'd give ya a call before you get swept up in the day. We're gonna try and stop by later if my bike comes outta the shop in time."

"Ahh, no worries if ya can't," Mondo admitted, sweeping his hair out of his face. "We can always go out an' celebrate late if that's what we gotta do."

"Whatever floats your boat, broski," Michi chimed in again.

"Pssh, love ya too, lil guy."

"What was that, you big ol-"

"Enough, Michi, let the boss man go," Daiya scolded playfully. "Besides, his kyoudai is probably already up by how loud we've been screamin'."

Mondo snorted. This wouldn't be the first time that he'd woken Taka up during an early morning call, or morning in general. Sometimes it was the snoring, other times he may or may not have rolled him off the bed...

He did a double-take towards the door when he thought he picked out the sound of the floorboards creaking from outside his bedroom, followed by the sound of footsteps getting louder and shuffling across the wood before descending downstairs. He slapped a hand to his forehead and rubbed it as he groaned internally:

Ah shit, did I actually wake him up?

"Mon, hey, you there?" Michi was trying to get his attention from the other line, and he shook his head to clear it as he sputtered.

"Y-yeah, sorry man, just..." He glanced back at the door. "Thought I heard somethin'. It's still early, ya know?"

"Yeah, we gotcha," the shorter blonde assured. "We're gonna let ya go now in case ye wanna catch another few winks."

Daiya took the phone. "What lil man said, we'll talk to ya later. I'll let ya know if we're gonna make it."

Mondo nodded. "Yeah, sure thing. Talk later, bro."

"Bye-bye, birthday boy~" The two jeered teasingly, hanging up quickly so Mondo wouldn't have enough time to bite back.

"HEY, why I oughta-!" He sighed as the line went dead, swinging his legs over the side of the bed to put his phone back on the charger and slip on a white sleeveless top before shuffling towards the door.

Might as well get a head start today...

Upon closing the door to his bedroom, Mondo swore he could hear whispers coming from the hallways. He checked behind him towards the door that housed Taka's room, but it was shut and nobody was there.

Then, it hit him: he had heard something earlier...

Downstairs...

Having not bothered to out his hair up even into a low ponytail, Mondo swept the mop of strands that hung over his face to one side, raking his hand through it to smooth it down before descending the stairwell to the adjoined living room and kitchen. As he did, the whispers seemed to cease, having taken notice of the biker's presence.

Upon entering the living room, he could make out Taka through blurry eyes.

"Happy birthday, kyoudai!"

The third wish of the day wasn't as loud as those of his brothers, for he was a distance away from him, so he shot a wink and a still-sleepy grin in his directions.

"Thanks, bro, but don't ya think it's a bit too-"

Mondo paused mid-sentence as he was, quite literally, seeing double. There were two outlines of his bro standing in front of him, and he tried rubbing his eyes to rid of the double vision.

Nope, still two of him. And his eyes weren't even blurry...

Wait wait wait-

"What's the matter, bro?" The two of him said in sync, tilting their heads to the side while sparing each other a sideways glance, red eyes glimmering even this early in the morning.

"Don't you pull this kinda shit with me today..." He snarled lowly.

"What? Whatever do you mean?" The Taka on the left spoke, rather confused.

"I haven't the slightest clue what you mean, kyoudai..." The right Taka admitted, eyes keeping their gaze on Mondo.

"Kiyo, you fucker..." Mondo sneered, eyes flicking between the two forms of his bro, trying to discern which one of the two was his real kyoudai.

Kiyo, nickname for Taka's twin brother, Ishida, had the tendency to disguise himself as his older sibling with makeup and hair dye, as well as spot-on voice mimicry. The only difference between the two was an ever so slight difference in their eye color, but Mondo was both too enraged and sleepy still to put effort into glaring deep into their eyes to make the real one out.

So alternate measures had to be taken... he'd figure out which one was the real Taka through means of recalling their knowledge of each other.

"Alright, this is how it's gonna go..." Mondo clarified with a clearing of his throat. "I'm gonna quiz ya both and break down the details. I'm gonna figure out which one of ya is fuckin' around with me."

Both Taka's eyes widened before collectively nodding, lips pursed together.

"Aight, uh, first off," Mondo's brain chugged to life as he tried to think of what to ask first. "What color are my eyes?"

"Purple," both of the Takas said in unison, with the one on the left perking up. "You do know that that's super obvious, right?"

Mondo huffed and wiped the corner of his lip with his thumb. "Yeah yeah, right, just startin' off easy! Now uh... what breed of dog is Chuck back at home?"

"A maltese," both Takas replied.

"You introduced him and his breed the day we met!" The Taka on the right piped up with a smile.

Mondo was getting frustrated now, even after two simple questions that had obvious answers. He pondered over the current situation and what information he had gathered.

Both had responded after answering at least once, one questioning him about how obvious and straightforward his questions and answers were, while the other followed up with gleefully recalling the reason behind the answer.

The real Taka wouldn't question him asking stupid questions, even thought he was a bit of a numbnut...

He could try one last thing...

"Alrighty then," Mondo perked up with this last proposition, a smirk creeping up onto his face. "One last thing...who wants their good morning kiss?"

At this, both Takas let out little gasps. The one on the right's cheeks went extremely pink, while the one on the left had a drop of sweat leak down his forehead and then his temple...

Leaving a trail of black without him seeming to notice...

Aha!

After analyzing their brief reactions, Mondo chuckled before approaching the Taka on the right, the one on the left watching from a sideways glance as he brought up a knuckle to wipe away the "sweat," only for his skin to come away black.

"Gotcha," Mondo rasped before pressing a brief smooch to the real Taka's lips, earning a squeak from him and hearing the other go:

"Awe, rats!"

After their brief embrace, Mondo and Taka turned to their left and saw the other Taka's eyes ignite, the black fading from his hair and revealing snowy white fluff as the dye leaked down his undershirt and his arms.

"Almost had ya, punk!" Ishida grumbled, ruffling his hair in defeat, almost having stolen a kiss from his lovesick brother on his kyoudai's birthday, of all days.

"Oh, don't think yer getting off the hook so easily," Mondo growled, a bony finger coming to point directly at him. "When my bros get here, so help me God, yer screwed..."

"Also, Kiyo..." Taka chimed in, a finger of his own pointing at his brother. "You're about to get hair dye all over the carpet."

Ishida glanced down his arms and the black trails of dye, looking like an eyeliner pen had exploded on him. He shrugged and slipped his white tank top off to mop at his skin, much to the dismay of Taka and Mondo.

"What? I'll just put er in the wash and it'll be spick and span!" He had missed a few spots, the inky dye leaving stained streaks down his arms and chest like zebra stripes.

"Yer gonna need a shower after we're done with ya..."

Unbeknownst to them, Daiya and Takemichi had arrived at their shared home and snuck the door open as the three had their confrontation, with the brothers holding back snickers as Michi had snuck a photo of the moment Mondo gave Taka a kiss.

Everyone whipped their heads towards the front door, and eyes instantly widened as Michi made his way towards Ishida, a pair of cupcakes in hand.

"H-hey little dude, wh- what're ya doing with those?" Ishida stammered, scooting towards the stairs.

"Oh, nothin'..." The blonde sneered, an evil smile pasted across his face. "Jus' wanna offer ya a little taste of...brotherly love."

He lunged at the white-haired twin, and Ishida yelped and made a beeline up the stairs, Michi right on his heels.

As the remaining three watched the early morning commotion, Daiya nonchalantly shut the door before pacing over to Mondo. "Wonder what the neighbors are gonna think of that one," he chimed right before putting his younger brother in a miniature headlock and mussing his already unkempt hair. "Happy birthday again, lil man!"

"I already told ya, I'm not LITTLE!" Mondo snapped, arms grasping at his older brother's in an attempt to get his own around his neck. The two had a miniature wrestling match before Taka intervened.

"Gentlemen, PLEASE!" He shouted the last word, causing them both to freeze where they stood, one of Mondo's hands deep into messing up Daiya's pompadour, while the older one's left arm was still around Mondo's shoulders. "It's still too early for this kind of horseplay!"

"Oh, like yer one to talk," Mondo spat teasingly as he winked in Taka's direction, making his cheeks flare up slightly. "YOU'RE the early riser around these parts that likes to rouse me outta hibernation!"

"Because the morning is important! You have to start your day the right way there and then!" The flush in his cheeks got deeper with this next bit. "E-especially today, cause it's your birthday!"

The brothers gave each other seething stares before they released each other, both going to smooth down their messed up hair. Mondo stepped forward to give Taka's own hair a rustle, the prefect's hands grasping at his wrists in protest, which earned laughs from both the Owadas.

A few seconds passed before someone could be heard stomping down the stairs. Ishida was back, only this time, with frosting matted in his locks and Michi's legs hooked around his abdomen as he kept himself latched on while rubbing the remains of the cupcakes through his hair. Both looked across at the trio, Ishida's eyes sagging with defeat but still glimmering with unseen rage, while Michi still had a smug grin across his face.

"What are y'all waiting for?" The blonde shouted gleefully. "Time to start the day!"

"Stop, lil dude, yer startin' to sound like Ishi," Mondo teased, earning a mock gasp and a playful smack to his chest from the back of the prefect's hand.

"How dare-!"

"I'm playin', dude, I'm playin' with ya, I promise!"

After a few more little laughs at the state everybody was in, they all collectively stared at Mondo, to which he responded with a classic rubbing of the back of his neck and a stammering response.

"Th-thank you guys, really. You make my birthday worthwhile."

He reached his arms out and dragged everyone into a big group hug, a few 'oof's escaping from Michi and Taka before they returned the gesture.

"Happy birthday to me, indeed..."
