1.- Parejas como Uraraka x Deku, Momo x Todoroki, Bakugou x Deku y toda pareja tóxica, sobreexplotada o que no sea de mi agrado, serán vetados del canal

2.- Puede que se utilicen parejas extintas (parejas que ya no uso) en algunas producciones (específicamente en aquellas donde la pareja original del personaje seleccionado muere (aquí es dónde entraría la pareja extinta), pero más adelante tiene a alguien más (Parejas que conservo o apoyo). Esto no sucedería si la historia tiene una única pareja y esa única muere.

(Ej: OC x Deku (Pareja extinta), Deku x Sami (Pareja que apoyo))

3.- Si la pareja es poco convencional o de esas tipo Disney clásico (Casarse con el primer hombre que ves), Es probable que los Ships serán destruidos. Lo mismo ocurrirá si los integrantes de la pareja estelar terminan su relación

One of the reasons why is because of how self conscious I feel. I was unable to get rid of my horrible farmers tan before the con and this is the most skin I have shown with a cosplay. I actually felt rather naked (says the boy who wears spandex suits) I was asked to be part of a Disney Princess genderbend group for Disney’s D23 Expo. I picked Moana cause I fell in love with @youkaiyume's Moana genderbend (who was really nice when I asked her if I could base my cosplay around her design) Everyone in the group looked absolutely amazing and I honestly didn’t realize just how big of a group we were. I read you recent post about LGBT+ characters and I’m wondering something (don’t hate me). Why is it okay to bend straight characters but not LGBT+ characters’ sexualities? I know that might sound ignorant, but I genuinely don’t know, and I would love to learn :)

Mh, how to explain it?

Okay, so, we’re going to talk about more than just queer characters here. And I’m going to explain it with the CIShet White Man Test.

If your character is one of the four attributes above, changing that attribute is okay, because it’s the… I’m really struggling with the right English words to say what I mean. The ruling class. The all-domineering, ever-present thing that is everywhere.

For example, there is so much content about men! Look at the MCU! Among the 23 movies from the Infinity Saga one (1) was female-led. As one example; this is though the norm. Look at the first Avengers movie alone, you got five guys and one girl on the team. So if you go and genderbend Carol Danvers into a man to make every single MCU movie male-led - because even the “team up movies” have male leaders; Cap and Tony are the leaders of the Avengers, Peter Quill is the leader of the Guardians - then that is not good. Contrary to that, Thor 4 now genderbending the superhero Thor into a woman is okay, because there is literally only one female-led superhero movie! Had they decided the genderbend Thor even in Avengers already, that too would have been okay because even then it would have still been four guys and two girls only.

There are many, many male-led franchises - Bourne, Bond, Ghostbusters, the Ocean’s Trilogy, etc - so if women say “well, you have had so much of this, we would like that too”, then that’s… that’s not really dramatic because a) it does not erase the already existing exclusively male-centric original and b) there is still aside from that so much male-centric content.

If they decide to cast a black actress as Ariel, then that is okay - because literally, the cartoon-princess lineup? Snow, Cinderella, Aurora, Ariel, Rapunzel, Merida, Elsa, Anna, that is 8 white girls, Tiana is the only black princess, Moana the only polynesian princess, Mulan the only Asian princess, Pocahontas the only native-American princess. So if people decide to twist it a little and take one of the many white girls and play with her racial background, that is okay, because say there is not a single Latina princess, not a single Japanese princess, so if you’d go “What if Frozen took place in Japan?” and racebend Anna and Elsa, that would a) be a very interesting twist and b) give someone representation who doesn’t have any.

There are little girls limited to having only one princess who looks like them and there are still so many who don’t have any at all, while white girls have an array to pick from, so giving those with less representation more representation is good.

See, CIS is even harder to make an example of because it is so very rare to even see trans characters. Supergirl recently introduced the very first trans superhero to hit any screen - big or small. There has never been a single transgender superhero in a movie or TV show before. The Arrowverse is currently at 450 episodes. The Marvel Cinematic Universe is at 23 movies. And that’s only the big franchise versions; there’s been so many more TV shows and movie adaptations of superheroes before. So if someone decides they identify with Peter Parker and headcanon him as trans, that is absolutely okay, while someone taking Nial Nal, said first trans superhero, and deciding to portray her as CIS? Not okay because you have so many CIS superheroes to pick from and deliberately chose to erase the only trans superhero who got to be a part of a big adaptation.

It’s the exact same thing for the gays.

Look at that large, large MCU with its 23 movies and every single character is straight. No, do not come at me with Valkyrie. Ta*ta decided to cut that, she was not yet made canon bi, because it was even asking too much to include that tiny sliver of a hint that Tessa suggested they could put in the movie. 23 movies with so many heroes and not a single one actually confirmed and shown to be LGBT but they go outta their way to give Clint A Wife And Children, to force Bruce/Natasha into AoU, they always find ways to shove straight relationships into the movies. Every single one of those 23 movies, aside from Ragnarok and Captain Marvel, went out of its way to include heterosexual romance.

So if when Thor 4 actually does have the balls to make Valkyrie bisexual and give her a girlfriend and people deliberately go out of their way to retcon her into being straight, then that is really bad.

Look at Stranger Things, since I included that example in the post you’re talking about. This is a show about little children and I had honstly started watching it thinking that kids meant I’d be saved from forced heterosexuality. But now this season there is Hopper/Joyce, Mike/Eleven, Lucas/Max, Jonathan/Nancy and now even Dustin got a girlfriend! There is so much heterosexuality in this show. Inexplicably the only one who is single is the only canon gay character, Will. And now this show introduced the very first lesbian in Robin and I, as a lesbian, am really happy to finally see a lesbian on this show! Straight girls had their pick among Joyce, Eleven, Max and Nancy to see varying stages of Heterosexual Womanhood represented, same for straight boys, and even gay boys at least had one in Will.

So if people say “Mh, I like Max/Eleven, I headcanon them as bisexual”, that is okay because this show is brimming with straights but there is not a single bisexual character in it!

But if people say “Mh, I like Steve/Robin, I headcanon her as bisexual”, that is not okay, because this show only has that one lesbian character and taking what little representation there is away from someone is not okay!

So, I hope I gave enough examples to explain it properly, because I feel like… you gotta get the whole scope, because this kind of thing is about more than just straightbending, you gotta understand that it goes for all minorities and that we all deserve our representation so having it taken away in favor of other minority representation is not good, but having it taken away in favor of what is literally there like sand on the beach? That’s just incredibly bad.
