the glove doodle he does to remind himself that hockey is supposed to be fun and that somebody (his dog) does love him unconditionally as mitch and not a hockey player.

he got those reminders permanently tattooed on his wrist after a season and postseason of unmitigated hatred and shit from the media and fanbase. before the final season of his current contract.

that’s cool and fun and not at all something i’ll spend an exorbitant amount of time psychoanalyzing haha
