I was not expecting for this movie to be making me cry for Gabriel. Seriously, props to Keith, who might have been given some of the finest acting of his career. I actually got this close to crying over Gabriel, Gabriel. Not Monarch, Gabriel.

Like... I think this Gabriel was what Canon Gabriel started out as in the beginning, raw and lost in his grief but in canon he just became Hawk Moth more easily and eventually Monarch. This Gabriel, this one had the chance to think, to see what he was doing was killing his family, and let himself be arrested before he did something he could never take back.
