That phrase really interested me...
Tumblr media
This is different from the other phrases Cerise says at the end of each episode. It seems like she's interested in Nathaniel, or maybe she knows something we don't...
Tumblr media
His real face? I don't think she knows his identity, because only Ladybug knows it (n Cat Noir maybe (well, at that moment)). Maybe she thinks Nathaniel is a hero?
Tumblr media
Or maybe there is another secret to share? Does this guy even have secrets?
Tumblr media
btw, it was cute and a little unexpected.

Sooo I ran across this cool concept art of an unused kwami design. And… well- I had to make some art.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
It’s called Null, the kwami of nothingness, with an ambition to “Return the world back to nothingness”. I decided that the power it would have would be called “Void”, allowing its users to make any one thing disappear permanently. I figured Null would be the universe’s counterbalance to the kwami of reality, Gimmi.
I’ve seen some theories floating around that Null might be appearing in season 6, I feel like that could be pretty interesting, depending on how its handled.
Side note: making Marinette recognizable when you get rid of her bangs is harder than I thought it would be- hopefully y’all can tell it’s her, haha. The working name I have going for her is Lady Cipher
Lila with Null design now exists too :)

ok so mild miraculous the ruler spoilers
so most people have noticed marc and nathaniel clearly parallel marinette and adrien in this episode but i haven’t seen people talk much in depth about how nathaniel’s parents mirror adrien’s. (and marc’s to marrinette’s to a lesser extent - loving and supportive without question)
the fight between caprikid and his akumatised mother felt very familiar to chat and his akumatised fathers fight in representation, with both of them taking out their frustrations of being controlled by their parent.
so what if in a similar way nathaniel’s dad parallels emilie and gives us a hint to how she could have acted and what role she could have played in the agreste family dynamic before she died. kinder and more supportive on a surface level but still disconnected and enabling, still focused on her own wants and ideals but in a much more subtle way than gabriel.
to me that lines up with the emilie we see in werepapas, quick to excuse gabriel’s behaviour in service to keep her delusion of a perfect loving family.

A VERY long theory post on how Miraculous might handle the possibility of Marinette losing her memories, based on… 90s Sailor Moon!
So I am a HUGE fan of 90s Sailor Moon, and it’s pretty well known that the show serves as a huge inspiration for Miraculous alongside other shows! Anyway, they have an amnesia arc at the start of the 2nd story arc of that show, and seeing the Marinette amnesia crumb planted in the latest ml episode, as well as the fact we’re in the 2nd story arc of ml, I have a sneaking suspicion that sailor moon’s amnesia arc can be drawn from for speculation on anything they might do with Marinette!
BIG spoilers for Sailor Moon below, and without further ado, here we go:
SO, let’s start with a summary of everything that happens in 1st arc of Sailor Moon that provides necessary context of the amnesia arc. You can skip past this section to the parts in pink that have the actual theory if you want, but this context helps make things less confusing:
1) Usagi gets assigned to be a sailor guardian by this cat called Luna (You can see her as a mix of Tikki and Master Fu, but she mostly serves the same role as Tikki in the show), and throughout the season other girls get assigned to be sailor guardians and they become part of this big ass friend group.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
2) Meanwhile, Usagi and her love interest, Mamoru, hate each other in their civilian forms throughout the season, but as heroes she had a big crush on him as his persona ‘Tuxedo Mask’, who would come and save her if she was having trouble in a fight. In other words, lowkey og love square but if they were enemies as civilians:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
3) Anyway, this all comes together at the end of the first arc where Usagi and Momoru have a reveal (quicker than miraculous, I know) and in turn find out they were the moon princess and earth prince in a past life. After this reveal, Mamoru gets mind controlled by the villain and turns evil, and when everyone going on a mission to save him and defeat the big villain, it ends with EVERYONE EXCEPT USAGI DYING. She has to use a power to defeat the villain that causes her to die as well, but not before she MAKES A WISH FOR HER AND HER FRIENDS TO HAVE A NORMAL LIFE THAT REWRITES THE UNIVERSE, causing the arc to end with EVERYONE’S MEMORIES WIPED, INCLUDING USAGI.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Already, I’m sure you can see the similarities that are arising, but onto the 2nd arc + how I think this will tie together:
During the 2nd arc, we start with basically a refresh of the show with Usagi having her memories wiped as per the wish, but due to evil arising once more, LUNA (who, again, I compared to tikki) has to restore her memories to have her fight evil again. Usagi then wants to restore the others memories desperately so that she won’t be alone, but doesn’t want them to give up their normal lives and be put in harms way. Also, she tries to get Mamoru to fall in love with her again, but since he lost his memories, he doesn’t like her anymore, like he did at the start of season one:
Tumblr media
So what do I think will happen? I don’t necessarily think EVERYONE’s memories will be wiped like in sailor moon, nor will a wish to rewrite the universe be involved, at least not YET. BUT, I do think that the reveal will happen, Marinette will lose her memories after a fight (possibly in a fight involving evil Adrien like in the Sailor Moon), and then Alya, Adrien, and Tikki will be hesitant to restore her memories when all is said and done because she has finally become a NORMAL GIRL, with a NORMAL LIFE, and they don’t want to take that from her.
THE PHRASING OF THE INTRO BEING SOOO SIMILAR TO USAGI’S WISH IN SAILOR MOON IS CRAZY, and idk it feels like this could be such a cool idea, especially if by this point the public has turned on the old ladybug for lying and they want to try and spare Marinette from that! IT ALSO PARALLELS MARINETTE SHIELDING ADRIEN FOR HIS PROTECTION, WITH HER NOW ON THE RECEIVING END (it’s worth noting Mamoru being left in the dark is a big thing sailor moon season one as well, no so much an insecurity of his but bro doesn’t know anythingggg compared to Usagi for awhile).
THIS WOULD ALSO PROLONG REVEAL SHENANIGANS LIKE IT DID IN SAILOR MOON !! Again, Usagi had to try and make Mamoru fall in love with her again without telling him anything, and this becomes the man focus of the first arc of the season!!! (Mamoru also has a part of him that gets separated from his physical form and becomes an alternate version of tuxedo mask to protect her despite his memory loss, but I don’t think they’ll rope that in lol.)
Guys I know this is a little out there and INSANE but I am SO convinced of this at least being mirrored a LITTLE bit in the show, especially since, as you can see, a LOT was pulled from this show already for miraculous. Here’s to the crazy amnesia arc we might get that might break our hearts… I’m sat! (also watch sailor moon bc clearly if you’re a miraculous fan you’ll LOVE it).

OH MY GOSH! Season 6 is here! And Cerise/Lila whoever was super creepy and amazing!
„Nothing. Hah. Nothing. You know nothing about me, about us, about them. I‘m everywhere. I‘m nowhere. I‘m a chameleon. Nowhere. You won‘t get anywhere.“
——~~~——
Not gonna lie, I really don‘t like what they did to Marinette. The girl is struggling…. We get that…. But did they really have to make her act like this? She can‘t even really keep it together als Ladybug anymore. She can be lucky that the miraculous prevents people from noticing the obvious similarities.
But back to Cerise! We don‘t see her face in the entire episode. We only have her voice but that’s enough already. After all, sound is almost more important than visuals. What would Micheal Myers be without the iconic sound. Try it. Mute the movies. It won‘t work.
But anyway. I wonder, when she akumatized that girl, this is how she handles things. She just talks and offers a solution like a good friend. Siding with her victim. She doesn’t even demand anything. No „I’ll give you that power. In return I want Ladybugs and Chat Noirs miraculous!“ No. None of that!
Also, the camera zoomed in, almost like we were going into the victims head. Is this what actually happens to you, when you get akumatized? Bah! Imagine having Gabriel in your head like that! No sir. Thank you!
Could it be, that up until now, we saw the whole process from the outside? That would be so cool. It would also mean that Cerise clearly….. goes deeper that Gabriel could.
Also, we learned something very important. Apparently, they don‘t know better yet, Cerise akumatizes people randomly without the goal to attack. She just lets them cause chaos and the heroes come out. At first.
We also learn that Cerise writes EVERYTHING down!! Like girl, be careful with your hand! That must hurt! Also she technically creates tons of evidence. If she looses ONE of those notebooks, it’s game over. Unless she writes in code….. would not be surprised.
Also the end of the episode, where she is in the café „Nothing. Hah. Nothing. You know nothing about me, about us, about them. I‘m everywhere. I‘m nowhere. I‘m a chameleon. Nowhere. You won‘t get anywhere.“
I am not sure if she completely lost it NOW, if she ALWAYS was crazy like this, or, with her disguises and all, she is completely stating the truth.
But I know one thing.
I LOVE HER FOR IT!! I can‘t wait to actually see her! Also it seems like she upgraded her miraculous, just like Marinette did with all the others. At least that’s what I heard, could be a leak. She got the guardians book too after all from Nathalie in that one episode, together with all of Gabriel’s secrets.
So yeah… the new season started…. A bit meh. I really wish they could have given us the REAL first episode. But it seems like there is something wrong with the continuity anyway. Alya and Nino interviewed Sublime‘s mom, but she didn’t appear yet…. Strange….
But anyway, we might be missing some lore here.
I am still excited for more.

Okay so I think it's time for another spaghetti theory:
Lilamoth isn't collecting moms. She's collecting sisters (or siblings)
Let me explain my thought process here. So a big complaint the fandom has is that we don't have a proper rogue gallery for villains. It's just the butterfly, and nothing else. It worked for early seasons, but things might be getting stale for some folks.
Enter new characters connected to Lilamoth somehow.
So she has 3 moms so far (that we know about.) All but one have something in common: dark hair and blue eyes.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
From left to right we have Mrs. Rossi (red), Mrs. Bianca (white), and her third mother who is deaf could possibly be Mrs. Verdi (green).
Tumblr media
Then we have this fourth lady that we see Lilamoth watching on her phone in the season 5 finale. I would NOT be surprised if Odille is going to be her 4th mom. Dark hair and blue eyes, and she is also disabled, just like her third mom.
(And I would not be surprised if we find out her surname is Nero (black), or Viola (violet). More on that aspect of this crack theory in a bit...)
Anyway, back to the concept of a rogues gallery. In the finale we see Lila in a disguise that 's VERY reminiscent of one of her moms:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Certainly she can't expect to disguise herself as a woman in her 30's-40's, and especially not with glasses and bangs. But she can pass reasonably as a teenage girl with a dark bob and glasses. You know, a sister.
So we know a certain main character whose name is in the title and wears red with black polkadots has dark hair and blue eyes. We don't know Lilamoth's motivations and and end goal, but we can surmise that she wants to take the place of Marinette.
(And I KNOW I've seen at least one other person theorize this, and I cannot find the post(s) so if you can find it please let me know so I can link it here!)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The pictures we see is one of Marinette with her classmates on the Liberty where Zoe is accepted in the friend group, Marinette with her parents, 3 pictures of Marinette with Kagami, and one picture of Marinette with Luka.
It's interesting to note that there isn't a picture of Marinette and Adrien together shown to the audience. You'd think they'd emphasize that, but no, it's mostly Kagami. I know it's because it's because the episode focuses on Kagami, but still. Other than her, it's just Marinette's parents, Zoe and Luka (Luka! Marinette's ex!) showcased in the closeup screenshot.
I got sidetracked! Anyway, I think other than similar coloring (and color-themed surnames haha) Lilamoth is trying to find other teenagers who are willing to join forces with her. She probably will get her hands on some Miraculous for them, somehow. But I don't think the new jewels will be from the Chinese box.
Here's where things start REALLY going off the rails with this theory:
All of Lilamoth's rogue gallery of villains are her adopted sisters (or siblings) and they are all Luka's exes. He's got a type for Italians with dark hair and blue eyes...
Going back to the surnames, all the surnames have something in common: they share the colors of all of Adrien's various transformations over the course of the series so far:
Rossi: Mister Bug
Bianca: Chat Blanc
Verdi: Aspik
We're just missing Chat Noir (could possibly will be the surname Nero, as it's Italian)
and Ephemeral (it's interesting to note that the surname Lee in Chinese can mean plum, which of course, is purple)
So naturally, my crack theory circles back to Lukadrien is endgame.
Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk.
{{{{{{Edit as of April 3, 2024.}}}}}
I will NOT be surprised if this girl with black hair in an extremely recognizable style is a disguise of another sister.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Is Lilamoth collecting blackmail to manipulate them later? She's very obviously walking disguised in areas where there would be lots of cameras (The inside of the Agreste mansion, and the hotel).
(Edit as of April 27, 2024!)
Now we know the synopsis of the London Special, I believe the disguises are to hide Lilamoth's tracks because she knows Maribug's identity. Bonus points if these girls were previous Ladybugs in past time lines that Lilamoth stole the identities of...
[[[Edit: May 4, 2024]]]
Tumblr media
I think I found the names of the previous Ladybugs: Marina, Shone, and Mio. (Please enjoy a silly extremely rough draft of where I'd personally go with the show)
As for the rest of the spray paint on the walls, this mural is an actual feature of the Paris Catacombs:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And while I think that most of the other tags on the wall are functionally meaningless and just there for ambiance, I do find the 777-777 tag to be of note. 7 Ladybugs till Lilamoth's goal? What's the deal with the arrows and the floating away 3 7's? Are 3 already "gone"??? Fascinating stuff! My mind is reeling!
[Edit for May 6, 2024]
Possibly figured out the source of the lightning in the season 5 finale. For whatever reason it's not showing up in the tags lmfao tungle is a functional website

Chrysalis?
What if Chrysalis (new hawkmoth) isn't Lila/ Cerise?
Hear me out...
This is Season SIX of Miraculous meaning that theoretically, everyone watching has watched the previous seasons.
So why are they hiding her face? The audience knows who she is (Well maybe not her motives, intentions or name, or age, but we know the character).
Maybe it's to add to the suspense idk.
But then I thought about Hawkmoth. We didn't know his identity so his face wasn't shown:
youtube
Ok so maybe the voice acting made it a tad obvious but ten year old me was fooled.
The point is the creators made an intentional effort to hide his detransformed self.
Whether Lila is transformed or not her 3d model is recognizable.
"Just get to your point random tumblr guy" Fine.
Lila states at the end of Episode 2:
youtube
Is that not creepy as HELL
There's more people.
Maybe the person taking notes and going out in the field is Lila/Cerise/whatever the hell, but the person actually USING the miraculous could be anyone.
Are you still with me?
Good.
I don't know if you remember this but in the New York Special:
youtube
So we KNOW that there are others out there looking for the remaining miraculous Fu lost. Especially after the temple was restored.
I mean think about Suhan. He was sent to take the Miracle box and find "proper holders." Other people KNOW about the Miraculous. Freaking Marquis de Lafayette used to write about his so the Miraculous are historical information that you can probably find either as facts or on conspiracy theory, sketchy, lost history websites.
The idea that Lila learned about and or joined a group searching for miraculous in general only to find out the strongest box is in France isn't crazy.
Having her groups leader or someone else or somehow multiple people using it isn't completely insane.
The real question is what is she wishing for?
What are THEY wishing for?
And what's with the additional beef with Marinette? (bc that has to be deeper than it seems)
Anyway that's why I think that maybe Chrysalis' identity is not what it seems.
(I tried to clip the yt videos to the specific part I'm talking about but it didn't work on my phone so please don't go, "why in hell did this person cite the whole movie/episode" I'm still new here😭

So why can EVERY superhero in season 6 use their powers multiple times?
I understand that at the end of season 5 when Chloe takes over Paris, Ladybug and Cat Noir are able to undo their detransformations as well as use their powers multiple times without detransforming, as they are now “adults”. But why can all the other superheros do it? I get that the are all the same age, but I thought that LB and CN unlocking these new abilities was more so because of their growth as hero’s rather than their ages. I’d argue that every hero other then them haven’t grown as hero’s at all, with some only using their miraculous a small handful of times total, not letting them “grow”as hero’s much yet, but they have this ability also?
Can anyone explain/give theories about this?

Analysing Marinette's (& other's) hairstyles
Marinette's hair changes quite a bit throughout the show. This won't cover every single change, but it covers the main groups, and hopefully gets across the main point: When Marinette's hair changes, it represents a changed mental state.
Classic Marinette - Pigtails
Tumblr media Tumblr media
This is Marinette at her most normal. You know her, you love her.
Still stressed but not 'breaking down' stressed. She's productive, generally on top of things, anxious, and prone to mistakes but also solutions. She's mostly in control here, and it semi-works for her.
Any deviation from this hairstyle is essentially a giant flashing sign saying "Marinette's mental state has changed"
Stressed Marinette - Bun/s
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Whenever her hair is in buns, she's overworking, over-stressed, and at breaking point. It's signifying that she's operating at a level much higher than she usually is, so her hair is tighter and 'wound up'. Her thinking/environment is usually bad for her and/or others.
Multimouse, in the episode where her identity was almost revealed and she almost killed herself fixing everything = Buns!
Her previous school year (with less friends and more Chloe influence) = Bun!
Shadybug, whose life was terrible with no friends, Chloe, and her powers are literally killing her = Buns!
And when Shadybug turns good and loses some of that toxic thinking, it turns into normal buns. Signifying her change into a better and more healthy mindset.
Actually...based off that, when her buns appear, there's a 2/3rd's chance her plan is killing her...
Secure Marinette - Loose Hair
Tumblr media Tumblr media
First appearing in Chat Blanc, this is her letting go of stress and worry. It shows Marinette's need for security and control mellow into calm and enjoyment. She's free of the desire for control. However, she's most likely to get blindsided in this mode. Also, for reasons explained later, this is mimicking Adrien's hair, somewhat.
In Hearthunter, Marinette lets go of the worry surrounding Adrien/Kagami, and enjoys being in the moment with them, losing her hair bands as Adrien leads the both of them into the pool. She enjoys Kagami's friendship, and Adrien's platonic love, and uses the hair ties in a Ladybug style solution. Then, she puts her hair ties back in right as sweetheart's icecream comes up.
They appear in Chat Blanc when Adrien confesses his love, and they stay like that. In the relationship, her guard is down and she's free.
Adrien - Mimicking
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Adrien doesn't really do much with his hair, it's almost constantly down. It's messier/different as Chat Noir, but that's not that notable beyond the obvious. Except for a notable example.
Tumblr media
Here, Cat Walker is trying his best to be professional, innovative, on task, and EXACTLY LIKE LADYBUG. Ergo, he gets the hairstyle that says "I need to be in control of this situation for the good of everyone, to the detriment of me"
---
There's probably other examples I'm missing right now and I'll add them if so (I'm 90% convinced when someone covers their hair, they're lying: Hawkmoth and Aspik).
But here it is: Marinette's hair theory. Whenever her hair changes, I worry, cause it signifies a changed mental state (and with her, it's often for the worse).

Miraculous Ladybug THEORY for season six or seven
LADRIEN???
Ok so recently the miraculous brain rot that never left has popped up more often and I HAVE A THEORY
When I started watching Miraculous I was not super into Ladrien but after talking to a non miraculous watcher who wants Ladrien I have absorbed that into my being and here goes the theory:
- During season Six or season Seven after Adrien finds out that Gabriel Agreste HIS DAD was Hawkmoth and he is an amok(or was???) there will not be an identity reveal, however, Adrien will Grow to resent ladybug (AND EVEN HATE HER) openly but will be cordial or at the very least work with Ladybug as Chat Noir.
- He will break up with Marinette or they might both decide it doesn't work (we all know Adrienette is going to break up this season).
- There will be a lot more Adrien and Ladybug Encounters let it be Ladybug trying to make up for it or maybe they keep getting stuck in situations in which Adrien shows his disdain for her (in a way taking control of his own emotions and complex individual self as well as being very defensive) as neither knows each other's identity.
- Maybe Lila is trying to get Adrien to become a Villain which Forced Adrien and Adrien to work with her again and maybe find some answers, and he slowly starts becoming fond of her again.
- cue some sort of Spider-Man shit with his tragic loves and maybe an identity reveal but Adrien will slowly start to fall in love with her and we will FINALLY complete the Love square (LadyNoir, Marichat, Adrienette, aND LADRIEN)

Kinda sorta a continuation of this post
I’ve seen theories of Lila running into Null in season 6, and I just kinda wanted to make my own design before a canon one potentially comes out.
I picked the name Nessuna for her (I actually have a name in mind this time, lol). It means “nobody” in Italian. Since Lila/Cerise has so many identities, I thought it would be funny if in her form while using Null, the kwami of nothingness, she was just essentially named “nonentity”. Also, it alludes to the Odyssey with that one story where Odysseus tricks a cyclops by claiming to be “nobody”. It just makes my nerd brain happy.
I strayed a bit away from miraculous design conventions with this one- hopefully it’s still recognizable as Lila (I always worry about that with my design work it seems).

Chloe's Amok
So I kind of have a random theory on what Chloe's amok could be if she ends up being a senti like the other rich kids, and I'm thinking it is this bracelet:
Tumblr media
Yes, I know Rogercop is way back from season one and that we haven't seen this bracelet since, but here me out.
Now how Chloe and Andre act this episode isn't anything new for their characters, but there are a few things I find slightly interesting. First of all Chloe isn't wearing the bracelet at all, but keeping in a special case. Chloe doesn't strike me as the type to keep something carefully tucked away when she could be wearing it and showing it off to the world. So why is she this time? Not that I think she would have told it was an amok, but I could totally see a conversation about how important this piece of jewelry is and how it is absolutely priceless before it was given to her.
Of course this is speculation, but what isn't is what we see in this episode. When Chloe shows the bracelet to Sabrina she goes to immediately grab it, suggesting that Chloe hasn't been against Sabrina touching her things in the past. Of course Chloe is rude in telling Sabrina not to do so, then we get this line from Andre:
"Put it away, Chloé! It could get in the wrong hands!"
I mean yes it probably is expensive, but so is every other thing Chloe owns? And I don't think it would be out of budget for Andre to buy Chloe another bracelet if something were to happen to it, and it is a bit strange to not let her wear her own jewelry.
Unless this isn't just a bracelet, but rather his daughter's life force that he doesn't want in the wrong hands or anyone to know about it because whoever holds it controls Chloe?
From here the bracelet goes missing thanks to a combination of Marinette tripping and Plagg, the blame immediately being put on Marinette, and being passed around the classroom from there. Again I don't think Chloe's insistence for Marinette being searched is surprising, or the mayor backing her up on this, but I do find it interesting that Andre doesn't try to placate Chloe at all like he usually does when she starts making demands. There's no "Chloe dear" or "My little princess", but immediately Andre is trying to get Roger to do some illegal searches on a teenager.
Of course Roger is then also immediately fired over something that has no relation to his job (there's no actual proof the bracelet was stolen instead of just being missing at this point!). And there's no pressure by Chloe to have Roger fired, Andre does this to someone very loyal to him on his own accord.
Later Andre also tries to have Nino's phone taken so the video can be reviewed by professionals as they try to track down this bracelet thief. He's wasting no resources or power plays here to find the bracelet, and also goes after the principal of the school as well:
"I'm warning you! If you don't find my daughter's bracelet by this evening, I'll cut off all your city funds for the school. Understood?"
I mean him throwing around his power as mayor isn't anything new... but why not buy a new bracelet at this point instead of targeting everyone who isn't involved? And like before there is no influence or demand from Chloe at this point for Andre to keep this all up, but he's not letting up about this missing bracelet.
We also get this interaction between Andre and Roger too when he's fired:
"Mayor, you can't be serious! Over a missing bracelet?" "This is my daughter's bracelet we're talking about!"
Your daughter's bracelet? Or perhaps your daughter's life force?
Again, this attitude and demands is in no way strange for the Bourgeois family, rather I just find all the details in between this interesting, and that it could be implying that this bracelet is something more than just a regular piece of jewelry.
---
Now for the other major reason I think this could be Chloe's amok (or at least something more than just an average bracelet): Plagg's interaction with this bracelet.
Now I don't think Plagg can sense amoks or would know that an object is one, but I don't think it would be out of reason for him to notice something about it. He's a magical being, or why shouldn't he have a response for other magical things?
Plagg immediately takes a liking to this bracelet, at first thinking it was cheese. Upon discovering that it isn't cheese though, he isn't too disappointed (Plagg. Not upset about not getting any Camembert when he thought he was??). He also gets pretty reckless by not only staying in Chloe's bag, but throwing the bracelet up into the air where it could have been seen by others. Now Plagg isn't exactly the most responsible, but he's also not stupid, so I thought this was worth noting. (Especially by him not being mad it wasn't cheese. Personally I think Plagg would be really upset to find there was no cheese.)
Then of course this is where the bracelet gets lost, with Plagg stuck inside of it, and Adrien smuggles him away. And Plagg is stuck in the bracelet. The kwami is stuck. The kwami is stuck inside of an object when they can phase through any solid material. It's not like Plagg is under any orders not to phase through bracelets, and yet he is still stuck!
I'm sure we've all wondered why Plagg doesn't just phase out of it before, and we've never given a reason.
So... what if magic has something to do with it? Like there isn't any canon that we have that states kwamis can't phase through certain things, but if it was going to be anything I think a magical object created by another kwami's powers that's hosting someone's life force fits the bill.
Then finally, we get this bit of information:
"What do you mean I can't transform?" "If you transform, the bracelet will get absorbed with me and damage your powers!"
This is a bit of canon lore that we never hear of or see come into play again. We've seen transformations happen with kwamis in pockets, bags, hidden away, in another room, having a piece of food in their paws: but never has any of these physical objects with the kwamis or them standing between them and their Miraculous ever stopped a transformation, get transformed with them, or damage their powers in any form. Either Plagg was lying about this fact, or this bracelet had properties that were different from everyday objects that could impact magical transformations.
And honestly, a Miraculous and an amok aren't too different from each other. They're both an object that gives a magical being a physical form, allows them to be controlled, and can grant powers. While unification between kwamis exist, maybe them merging with other magical entities is in fact dangerous?
And we have seen interesting properties between amoks and transformations in canon. We have seen Gabriel transformed while giving orders to Adrien, and touch right where the amok ring would be even though it clearly isn't there or under the glove. Even if it isn't physically present it still exists in some form when a human transforms while wearing an amok, and the magic that binds the sentis to orders is still there.
---
As for why we never see the bracelet again? I imagine Andre thought it was way too dangerous to let Chloe have her own amok after everything that happened during Rogercop, and took it back to keep it safe once more.

* something that I’ve only just started thinking about recently is how in-universe, nobody knew what the miraculous were or how they worked, even though people had been looking for them since at least the 1940’s, in WWII I’m thinking: Master Fu, after WWII, made a wish to erase the knowledge of the miraculous from everyone’s minds

* that doesn’t mean they never existed, or that they were never used, it’s just that after the point in time where he made the wish, nobody was able to remember them
* but since he made the wish, there had to be a reaction to his action, so I think in exchange for “everyone will forget about the miraculous”, someone would have to learn about them again at some point, and that someone was Nathalie Sancoeur
Tumblr media
* look, I don’t exactly know how or when Nathalie would’ve learned about the miraculous, but before the events of the series she was a hunter of magical artifacts. She could’ve found something relating to the miraculous, and decided to try and find more info about them.
* where and when she would’ve done that, I don’t know, but that doesn’t rule out the idea (at least to me)
Tumblr media
* now according to the show bible, Tomoe was the one who introduced Nathalie to Gabriel and Emilie. Since the bible is outdated in certain areas (especially with Nathalie), this could also be outdated, but for the sake of this argument I’ll imagine that it isn’t
Tumblr media
* what I think could’ve happened is that Nathalie learned about the peacock miraculous, and she told Tomoe (how they’re connected, idk, but whatever) about this, and so in turn Tomoe told her about the Agrestes and that Nathalie should be the one to help them out
Tumblr media
* Gabriel, Emilie, and Nathalie would’ve met afterwards, and then the rest is history
Tumblr media
* maybe I’m just reaching in all this, I don’t know lmao, but it was fun to think about, so

Why do I think that Cerise/Chrysalis will win.
Hi again. Here is a little theory again. Have fun.
You know, many people pointed out how Cerise works very differently than Gabriel. How she acts nicer and doesn’t demand the miraculous of Ladybug and Chat Noir right away. And I thought, that there is a different reason why she will cause a lot of trouble to Marinette.
How does Cerise akumatize people? Instead of getting straight to the point, she starts with apologizing. „Apologizing“. Why is that important? Because she is „bothering“ people when they are in a very fragile emotional state. Cerise knows that. Like that little girl that cried in a toilet stall. These are moments, where you want to be alone, not seen by anyone until you are calm again.
Of course, cerise does not really care. I‘m sure she doesn’t but she understands. And that’s important here.
After that, she pretends to understand her victim and offers a solution. And than she lets them be. She does not ask for anything in return. Not yet.
After the heroes show up and try to stop the akumatized person, Cerise makes it seem like they are getting in the way of that person being happy. That’s when she asks for the miraculous.
So far so good. But there is something I haven’t seen that many talk about.
How does the akumatized person act and behave after Ladybug fixes everything and gives them this protection charm?
Am I the only one who thinks that they seem almost…. Guilty? I mean, they surely can‘t remember that much. That’s the rule but Ladybug being there and getting a charm should tell them that ‚Yes I got akumatized and yes I caused trouble.‘
Don‘t get me wrong, I am sure they are grateful for the help. But they still look like the bad guy. ‚I messed up. They used me. I might have destroyed the city.‘ bla bla bla.
If there is one thing Cerise is a master of, it has to be ‚making herself look like the good guy.‘ why not use this to make others look good too?
She would not judge someone for an emotional outburst. She would not talk down on them for it. Never! They did nothing wrong! What they did is only human! Everyone snaps under so much pressure!
You see where I am going?
I think that cerise could use this to turn the people of Paris against ladybug. And let’s not forget the little secret she already knows.
We got a glimpse of how Alya would react. Marinette‘s mind continues to crumble with guilt.

You know what would be a terrific change of pace for season 6?
Not having a villain to defeat every single episode.
Lila is cunning. Lila doesn't need to rely on powers to pull strings.
She can definitely use the miraculous, of course, but in secret and only to boost the effectiveness of her lies. She akumatizes herself in different ways to try to bring down Marinette or to slander Ladybug, only it never works...
Because, in a strange twist, instead of Ladybug saving the day, Marinette does. Marinette works together with her friends to restore the reputations of people that Lila tries to destroy.
Maybe Lila spreads misinformation, maybe she creates fake videos, maybe she gives herself the power to spread rumours that people will believe, etc.
But also, maybe season 6 should be about Adrien and Marinette being heroes without using their masks as much?
Just something I like to think about
