Millionaire Mindset Makeover: My Review of "Millionaire Secrets Digital - Ebooks"
I recently purchased the "Millionaire Secrets Digital - Ebooks" product, and I'm impressed! This isn't your typical "get rich quick" scheme. Instead, it focuses on a crucial aspect of financial success: cultivating a millionaire mindset.
Understanding Your Money Script
The product dives deep into the concept of your "money script." This refers to the subconscious beliefs you hold about money, often formed in childhood. These beliefs can be empowering or limiting, and "Millionaire Secrets" helps you identify yours. Through insightful exercises and relatable anecdotes, the ebooks unpack how your money script influences your financial decisions.
Reshaping Your Relationship with Money
Once you understand your money script, "Millionaire Secrets" provides practical tools to rewrite it. The program emphasizes replacing negative beliefs with empowering ones. It offers affirmations, visualizations, and journaling prompts to solidify your new mindset. I found these exercises particularly helpful, as they allowed me to actively challenge my limiting beliefs and create a more abundant financial future.
Actionable Steps for Financial Growth
"Millionaire Secrets" doesn't stop at mindset. It also offers actionable steps to take control of your finances. The ebooks cover wealth-building strategies, budgeting techniques, and even tips on negotiating a raise. This blend of mindset work and practical guidance makes the program well-rounded and effective.
A Supportive Community (Optional)
While I opted for the digital version, "Millionaire Secrets" also offers access to an optional online community. This can be a valuable resource for connecting with like-minded individuals and receiving ongoing support on your financial journey.
Investing in Yourself
"Millionaire Secrets Digital - Ebooks" is an investment in yourself and your financial future. It's not a magic bullet, but it provides the tools and knowledge to build a strong foundation for wealth creation. If you're serious about changing your financial outlook, I highly recommend this program.

looking back, it's interesting to see how much "typical pop culture" I wasn't exposed to as a kid that's emblematic of my generation (1996 birth year) because I was homeschooled and raised in a conservative Christian household that didn't have cable TV until I was 12.
I listened to very little secular music but knew all the 2000s CCM tracks by heart. Only ever watched PBS and ABC's Disney Saturday morning block (even though we had other networks and I could have seen peak KidsWB and 4Kids, I only paid attention to ABC because that's the channel Millionaire and later Extreme Makeover: Home Edition was on) - unless I was at a grandparent's house, then I'd watch the Disney Channel or Nick Jr. No Cartoon Network, ever.
Video games were a weird one, too. We were a PlayStation house until we got a Wii, but PlayStation for me didn't mean Ratchet and Spyro and Crash, it meant dad's Armored Core games and NHL and Star Wars Battlefront and the criminally underrated Teen Titans game
basically I can't relate to zillennial starterpack memes at all

The Modern Beach Abode - house build #1
I made another build!
This time, it’s for one of my favorite Sims, Kent Capp, and his whole family. I liked their first house and the makeover I did, but it’s too small and cramped for them, not enough for all their needs and other stuff.
Besides, they’re Capps and millionaires, so they deserve a fitting, bigger home for a wealthy scientist-politician couple and their kids. I tried to make the style more tropical beach-inspired, and it has a total of 3 floors, not including the roof deck.
If you want me to upload this, just let me know. Note: I used a lot of objects from EPs, SPs & the Store.
The first floor is an open space, where their living, dining and kitchen areas are. The second floor houses the master bedroom, library, powder room, laundry room, and the balcony.

The Swan was actually a competing show to another called Extreme Makeover. Extreme Makeover was open to men and women, and had the exact same plot. They would receive multiple, free cosmetic surgeries, then compete in beauty pageants to find a winner. If you've heard of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, it was a spinoff that persisted long after the flagship show was, uh, noticed. That show was also fucked, because the show would "find" (exploit) a family with an unlivable home and a probably manufactured sob story, then they'd demolish the house and make some weird Wonka mcmansion in its place, buuuut, the houses were left unfinished, no running water, electricity, just so they looked cosmetically upgraded for the walk-thru at the end. Also, it ultimately would thrust the low-income family into a new property tax bracket they couldn't afford, and they'd end up having to sell the property. Once, Oprah pulled a stunt where she gave her entire audience a new car, and the same thing happened with the taxes.
There was also Joe Millionaire, which was a find-love show where the guy in question was openly pretending to be wealthy, when in fact he had nothing, and it was just meant to deceive women on the basis of what lengths they would go to to get a millionaire to choose and marry her, and in the end, he sprung the surprise to see if she was still down.
Another, the name of which I forget, was actually kind of funny. It had an affluent young woman show up to her blue-nose family with an actor playing an absolute shmoe, and she had to keep up the illusion that she was totally in love with him, and they were going to have a big wedding, and if she could keep up the lie, she won money. With each episode, he disgusted, aggravated, insulted the family, and degraded her more and more, and every episode had her hysterically crying saying she didn't think she could keep it up.
The last (chronological) one of these mind-fuck experiments I can remember, was another find-love variant, where they got a Prince Harry look-alike, and had a panel of women vie for him to propose marriage.
I do have to impress on anyone who wasn't around for it how batshit the reality boom of the 2000s could be. Especially on Fox.
Here are some 100% real 2000s reality shows:
Who's Your Daddy? A woman has to guess which of eight men is her biological father. One of them really is, and if she guesses right she wins $100,000. If one of the seven fake dads convinces her to guess them, he wins $100,000.
Black. White. A white family learns about racism by living a month in blackface, while a black family spends a month in whiteface. The black family was a real family, but the white family was just some actors hired to put on blackface to prove racism exists
Without Prejudice? Five strangers decide which of five strangers gets a cash prize based off clips and their answers to political questions. Cancelled when one of the choosers openly said he'd eliminate all black contestants
Welcome to the Neighborhood. Three conservative white families in a Austin subdivision decide which diverse family gets to move in. Unaired due to being literal housing discrimination
Seriously, Dude, I'm Gay. Two straight men try to pass themselves off as gay and whoever seems more gay gets $50,000. Unaired due to. Due to. Due to
Playing It Straight. A woman tries to find love among fourteen men, half of whom are straight and half of whom are gay, and she must eliminate two men she believes are gay each week. If she ended up picking a straight man in the end, they'd split a million dollars; if she picked a gay man, he'd win a million dollars
Boy Meets Boy. This was Playing It Straight but starring a gay man and he had to eliminate straight people
Who Wants to Marry a Multimillionaire? He wasn't a multimillionaire. He didn't even have a million dollars in liquid assets. He had a battery conviction Fox claims they didn't see. Because it was the 2000s, somehow this ended up with the woman he won being widely vilified and turned into a national punchline. How dare she complain about a massive corporation tricking her into marrying a lying abuser, good thing Matt Lauer's there to take her down a peg
The Swan. A "ugly" woman is given plastic surgery and wins a prize if she's the hottest at the end of the season. If she's not hot enough by the show's standards she's eliminated and called ugly on national TV
The Biggest Loser. Overweight people engage in competitive crash weight loss that often led to awful health complications. Studies showed basically everyone on the show regained any weight they lost once it was over and they didn't have abusive trainers demanding they take huge health risks to win a competitive weight loss competition. Like the others, this one was cancel-oh, it was a massive hit that ran for 18 seasons? Yikes!
Wife Swap and Trading Spouses. These were the same show and had a wife from one family go to another family that was different politically, racially, culturally, religiously etc. Most famous for the God Warrior
At the time people focused on the likes of Fear Factor but looking back it's wild how many of the worst shows toyed with politics. So many of these shows have a premise that's like "what if we exposed these conservatives to these people they hate?" or hyping themselves up as Important Experiments. Then they'd freak out when they got the kind of viral bigoted freakout they were trying to construct the whole time.
There were also a bunch of horrible reality shows, thankfully this time mostly unpopular, in the 2010s that based themselves around economic themes as a response to the market crash, but that's a story for another time

I need to scream about this for a second and I'm sure I'm putting more thought into it than the filmmakers did, but hear me out.
I love the subversion of the "hair down glasses off makeover" trope in this movie.
Marilyn Monroe plays Pola, a beautiful model with terrible eyesight. Like, this girl truly cannot see without her glasses. The problem is, she refuses to wear her glasses in public, especially in front of men. She thinks they make her look hideous.
We as the audience watching think "You look hideous? You're literally Marilyn Monroe !"
But the reason she thinks this is because she was taught to. Her mother drilled into her as a child that no man would ever marry her if they saw her in her glasses, that she'd end up a hideous old maid if she wore her glasses. And so, for most of her life, Pola has literally been sacrificing her ability to see in order to be seen as desirable, because she has been taught her worth is entirely dependent on her desirability.
(a side effect of her never wearing her glasses is that she gains a reputation as a dumb blonde, when all of her "dumb" behaviour is literally just because SHE CANNOT SEE).
Anyway, in the movie this all culminates with Pola, who is on her way to secure a proposal from the asshole millionaire she's dating, gets on the wrong plane by mistake. She sits next to a man (Freddie) on the plane, a glasses wearer himself, who notices her squinting at a book and asks her if she's lost her glasses. She denies it at first, but eventually admits why she's not wearing them.
Freddie scoffs at her worry about looking bad. Because again, she's literally Marilyn Monroe. And listen, this man has no business commenting on any woman's appearance. I don't like that she only gains confidence because a man wants to fuck her, but this movie's from the 50s, so we're just going to need to let that go for now.
So he asks her to let him see her in her glasses. Pola has never let any man see her wearing her glasses. Her entire self worth is tied up in her looks. She's a model, her looks are her sole source of income. She's trying to marry a rich man to secure her future, again trading entirely on her looks. Letting a man see her in her glasses, in her mind, makes her vulnerable.
But she takes a deep breath, she puts her glasses on, and prepares to find out once and for all just how hideous men find her in glasses...
And Freddie's just like "see, isn't that better? You can see now."
And when Pola asks him if he finds her hideous, he says of course not. She's an absurdly beautiful woman! If anything, she looks even better with her glasses on.
And from that moment on, we never see Pola without her glasses again. All it took was one person giving her some positive reinforcement to help her start to undo all that toxic shit she's been taught to internalise her whole life. And everytime I watch this movie I tear up at the end when she walks into her best friend's wedding, confident, and glamorous, and able to see. And not a single person blinks an eye when they see her. They thought she was beautiful before, they think she's beautiful now. She could have been living like this the whole time if not for the crazy beauty standards she'd been taught to internalise.
And listen, I know that this is not a revolutionary feminist storyline. But for a romcom from 1953, I just think it's a more nuanced take than you might expect.
HOW TO MARRY A MILLIONAIRE (1953)

now TWO of my neopets were ludicrously expensive, because I got a free snowbunny stamp and threw it into the trading post for 2mil. I already had over a mil at that point, so once I hit 3mil I had the realization that I could achieve the darigan lupe dreams I've had since middle school, and I would still be a millionaire. so Kingg got a makeover, and her gear even still looks pretty okay. also I painted Lea from disco to cloud, but that was still free because I got the cloud paint brush from the daily quests.

Rubys Match?
I hadn’t done the ‘leave someone at the altar’ requirement yet.
I WAS gonna do it with Diego, Sun’s dad.
Only problem? He DIED.
So we couldn’t.
I was looking for candidates, then it came to me.
THE ONE WHO WON THE LOTTERY.
An actual millionaire.
I went to world edit and found the guy, with the million dollars, and moved him into a lot with a big rich fancy home.
I also gave him a makeover to look the part.
In case you’re wondering, Thomas here is, apparently, ambitious, a genius, and a music lover. With a renaissance sim aspiration. A knowledge aspiration.
Which makes me think he hacked the lottery to get that money.
A guy who is smart and tactful, knows what he wants, and also has a similar trait to Rubys brother?
A dirty player on our hands?
Just what I’m looking for.
Ruby might be getting engaged to a millionaire.
