No way heimerdingers va originally auditioned for silco? Spisak creeps me but I need silco info
Edit: Of course Spisak said the best thing to come out of the gig was all the people he got a chance to meet 💀💀💀
Edit: Reed thinks Silco would have given jinx up 😡 like even most silco haters at least understand that silco wouldn't have betrayed her, at least Mick understands. And Ekko was the only character in Arcane with good intentions? Seriously?

Taking lines from Ghetsis and plugging them into an AI voice model of Il Dottore (which I will not be linking to lest anyone use it for more sinister purposes) to see how Mick Wingert would sound reading them in one of his more traditional villainous performance rather than one that borrows a lot from his Fire Emblem Heroes roles plus additional vocal texture.
Which do you prefer: the Ghetsis we got, or the Il Dottore sounding one I made?

Mick Wingert would've also killed it as Chairman Rose (though he'd have to do it uncreditted and under contract like with his Ghetsis).

ARTHUR SLUGWORTH
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory ROALD DAHL (1964)
Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory (1971) played by Mick Wingert
Arthur Slugworth is the antagonist in the children’s book, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory as well as the film and television adaptations.
Slugworth, like Willy Wonka, is a wealthy owner/manager of his own chocolate company called ‘Slugworth Chocolate Incorporated’. He is jealous of Wonkas recipes and success and hires people to spy on Wonka. Slugworths aim is to bring Wonka’s Factory out of business and to make all the profits himself. Slugworth was present when Wonka opened his factory and the cause of Wonka to close his factory and had to fire all his workers. Wonka continued working with the help of Oompa Loompas and continued to dominate the industry.
In the 1971 film during the Bill’s Candy Shop scene, Wonka’s products are prominent however; Slugworth’s Sizzlers are also displayed and sold to a young girl.
Grandpa Joe describes Slugworth as the worst of Wonka’s rivals, telling Charlie that he was one of the spies who were sent to steal Wonka’s Recipes.
Wonka plants golden tickets inside chocolate wrapping and allegedly knows where they are going to turn up. As each child finds a Golden Ticket, “Slugworth” approaches the child and whispers something in their ear.
I congratulate you, little boy. Well done. You've found the fifth Golden Ticket. May I introduce myself. Arthur Slugworth: President of Slugworth Chocolates, Incorporated. Now, listen carefully because I'm going to make you very rich indeed. Mr. Wonka is at this moment working on a fantastic invention: the Everlasting Gobstopper. If he succeeds, he'll ruin me. So, all I want you to do is to get hold of just one Everlasting Gobstopper and bring it to me so that I can find the secret formula. Your reward will be ten thousand of these.
Think it over, will you. A new house for your family, and good food and comfort for the rest of their lives. And don't forget the name: Everlasting Gobstopper.
When Wonka asks the children inside his factory not to show the Everlasting Gobstopper to anyone, Veruca Salt crosses her fingers behind her back. Mike Teevee mentions to his mother, what secrets can they sell to Slugworth, his mother tells him to keep his eyes peeled and mouth shut.
At the end of the 1971 film, Wonka tells Charlie he didn’t win the prize because he violated the rules for stealing the Fizzy Lifting Drinks. Grandpa Joe upset with Wonka, tells him that Charlie can give Slugworth the Gobstopper, Charlie however, sympathises with Wonka and returns the Gobstopper. Wonka forgives Charlie and then reveals that the man wasn’t actually Slugworth, but a trustworthy Wonka employee, Mr. Wilkinson, who wanted to test the children on how trustworthy they are. We don’t actually see the real Slugworth in the 1971 film.

When I tell you I *screamed* when I saw this. For the record I did not tell this man to sign it like this. He did it all on his own, and I’m so glad he did. It’s perfect.

Still on the mood to do more FE Echoes VA… (skipping over Valbar and Kamui's since theirs has been covered)
What do you think of Mick Wingert? He plays Jesse, Arden, Jorge and is also Inigo/Laslow.
Well, Tumblr deleted my post while I was in the process of typing it, all because I switched to a new window.
Cool, Tumblr. Very cool. :/
ANYWAYS, I love Mick! Besides the fact that he voices those guys (wasn’t actually aware he voiced Jesse! It’s been a while since I’ve checked the VA pages), first time I found out about him was his role taking over as Po for Kung Fu Panda: Legends of Awesomeness; the dude is INSANELY talented at sounding like Jack Black! And aside from his incredible impression, Mick’s a genuinely talented VA in his own right, but I’ll get more into that in the review.
Mick’s performance as his characters are all incredibly well done; I think I like his Arden voice the most because the tone fluctuations in his voice are so much fun, especially his “But please, don’t call me slow!” He has so much energy in his voice, and honestly we need an Arden alt so we can hear more of Mick’s Arden voice. And I will acknowledge that yes, Mick took over Inigo/Laslow from Liam O’Brien and that is a VERY hard thing to do as an actor (especially with how Liam’s “purr” to his voice made Inigo sound unique). But I also think he still does a great performance for Inigo, he doesn’t sound flat or boring or bad, he’s lively and charming still. Jeorge is also well-voiced as well, though I’ve never really built him. He’s got that “noble air” to his voice.
I think he fits everybody, and I think that he was a good pick to take over for Inigo. It’s not easy being a VA taking over someone else’s role, and it can be hit or miss but I think Mick was a hit.
Is there range? YES there is range. Between Arden and Inigo, you wouldn’t even be able to tell they were voiced by the same actor. And like I mentioned before, this guy has tricked people multiple times with his Jack Black impression. He’s very talented.
Overall, I’d give Mick a 9, maybe even a 10/10. Really fun actor and it’s such a shame that Arden doesn’t have an alt yet. At least Inigo is still getting alts though.

We still don't know Ed Bosco's PokeMas role, and if he was Ghetsis it would make sense why some of Ghetsis' line reads don't quite sound the way I'd think Mick would deliver them. But at the same time, the voice, and more importantly the vocal range on display in it, is so distinctly Mick Wingert that it would a freakish miracle of voice direction to get any other VA to give such a performance.
So I'm always going to think of Mick Wingert as the perfect Ghetsis.
Ghetsis' Masters VA is presumed to be Mick Wingert. I don't think it's ever been completely confirmed tho?
But imo, Ghetsis has among the most clear "worst to best." Don't really like Bill Rogers from the Gen5 anime (I was genuinely like "hmmm no" hearing it), Patrick Seitz has a pleasant voice, but doesn't sound slimy enough, Armen Taylor nails the creepiness very well, but Mick is definitely the best Ghetsis. He's basically what I always thought of for a good Ghetsis voice. 🤩
