y does texting first feel like a literal death sentence what if they hate me and kill me for saying hi oh my god what if they begin to think im annoying and want to stop being my friend but dont know how to tell me so theyre just going along with whatever i say to not hurt my feelings but they actually hate me and are just pretending to nice cause they dont have any other choice and everything theyve said to me is actually a lie and every conversation we’ve had they dreaded having to engage in cause they hate me they hate me they hate me they hate me ..maybe its best i dont text first

Human Falls

As a child, I thought about death. Alot.

My little mind struggled to understand that life eventually has an end— the road slowly or suddenly stops, or the car explodes for no reason.

For humans, for all things.

That scared me.

...

When I learned about Whale Falls I realized something; that's us too, isn't it? Except we're packaged like takeaways and served 6 feet deep.

So I'm not scared anymore.

My gore will feed the worms, my viscera the grass and between my ribs flowers will take root; blossoming above for others to enjoy.

I must die, but in a million other lives, I will live.
