There's nothing wrong with having "wants" in a relationship. "Wanting" to have regular sex is okay. But your "wants" do not trump someone else's RIGHTS. Your "wants" also dont get to trump your partner's.

If your partner doesnt WANT to have sex, that is -- yes, a want, just like desiring sex is. But REFUSING sex is a RIGHT. Even if sex was a "need" that doesnt mean it gets to supplant my rights. Just because someone "needs" warmth, does not mean that they get to forcibly take the clothes off my back to do so. That doesnt mean that they get to force me to huddle for warmth with them. That doesnt mean that they get to crawl inside my slain body tauntaun style.

Just because someone needs a kidney to live, doesn't mean that they get to take mine against my will. My rights trump their needs.

Men know very well what bodily autonomy is when they're the ones who risk being violated. They just don't extend the same humanity to women. They think they *deserve* sex because they're in a relationship. They think they *deserve* sex because they see themselves as superior.

Begging people to realise sex is not a need and you are not entitled to it. The “men have needs!” saying is commonly used by males to manipulate women into having sex. In other words… it’s rape culture rhetoric.
