Yemen’s armed forces threatened on 22 April to expand military operations against Israeli-linked ships in the Red Sea, Arab Sea, and Indian Ocean following the discovery of mass graves in Gaza’s Nasser Medical Complex. “For the seventh month in a row, the genocidal crimes of the Israeli enemy continue, the latest of which is the brutal massacre in the Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Yunis,” the armed forces said via a statement on Yemen’s Al-Masirah channel. The statement continued, “the genocidal crimes that the Palestinian people are facing in Gaza and the occupied West Bank reflect an unparalleled level of Zionist hatred and crime.” The statement by Yemen called to “escalate their operations in the Red Sea,” adding that Sanaa continues its full support for the people of Gaza. On Sunday, over 200 bodies were found across two mass graves located in Khan Yunis’ Nasser Medical Complex. Gaza’s Government Media Office announced that about 700 victims are expected to be found. “We found in the Nasser Complex corpses without heads and bodies without skins, and some of them had their organs stolen,” the media office said. “The occupation executed dozens of displaced, wounded, sick, and medical staff.”

📹 Al-Masirah News Agency, a Yemeni news outlet, publishes a montage of 35 ships targeted by Yemeni Armed Forces, under the control of Yemen's Ansarallah movement, in the Bab el-Mandeb straight of the Red Sea.
Ansarallah has repeatedly targeted Israeli ships, as well as ships headed to or from the ports of the occupied Palestinian territories, as well vessels associated with the Israeli occupation's allies, in response to "Israel's" special genocide operation in the Gaza Strip, and in solidarity with the Palestinian people who remain under siege and bombardment in Gaza.

*I don't know if any of you noticed that we didn't cover any news about the passage of the Sa'ar 6 warship through the Suez Canal flying the enemy's flag. We also barely mentioned news about the docking of the ship loaded with explosives coming from Portugal for the entity in the port of Alexandria, and it was reported by the enemy's media...*
*Most of those who publish to attack the normalizing regime in Egypt, do not speak when the same shipments and planes loaded with bombs for the benefit of the entity pass through all the bases of the normalizing Americans, Arabs and Turks in the region. I will suffice with naming only one base from each country so as not to make the idea too long, knowing that there is more than one base in most of these countries:*
*Incirlik Base - Turkey, Al Udeid Base - Qatar, Muwaffaq Al Salti Base - Jordan, King Faisal Base - Saudi Arabia, Ali Al Salem Base - Kuwait, Sheikh Isa Base - Bahrain, Al Dhafra Base - Emirates, Nimro 3 Base - Egypt, Al Masirah Base - Oman.*
*All these regimes participate in killing the people of Gaza, Lebanon and Yemen with America and Israel by simply allowing the passage of weapons and goods to Israel in conjunction with the ongoing genocide... But of course no one listens to you, so wretched is your "religion", your Arabism and your breath...*
*Our battle today has no time to talk about your treachery and normalization... Our focus and interest is on who will defeat you and your masters and nothing else.*
*The hand of God is above their hands.*
*In short, we are fighting their masters and with God's help and guidance, when we defeat their masters, They will follow them to the palaces (dunghills) of exile in Europe and America.*

US and UK forces thwart the 26º Houthi attack on sea routes in the Red Sea
18 drones, two anti-ship cruise missiles and an anti-ship ballistic missile launched by Yemen's Houthi rebels were shot down in the operation.
Fernando Valduga By Fernando Valduga 01/10/2024 - 08:44 in Military, War Zones
In a joint effort, the military of the United States and the United Kingdom successfully intercepted and shot down 18 drones, two anti-ship cruise missiles and an anti-ship ballistic missile launched by Yemen's Houthi rebels over the south of the Red Sea.
This marks the 26º attack on international sea routes by the Houthi group since November 19. No injuries or damage were reported in the operation.
Tumblr media
The Red Sea, a crucial route to the Suez Canal, facilitating about 12% of global trade, has become a focal point for disruption. The Houthi attacks increased the risks for ships approaching the Suez Canal, leading to delays, increased costs and rerouting decisions by large shipping companies.
The U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) described the attack as a complex attack involving Iran-designed unilateral attack UAVs, anti-ship cruise missiles and an anti-ship ballistic missile. The Houthi rebels, supported by Iran, are targeting commercial ships in protest against Israel's military actions in Gaza.
Tumblr media
The operation involved fighters from the aircraft carrier USS Dwight D. Eisenhower and four destroyers, including one from the United Kingdom. This arises as part of the ongoing efforts of the international maritime coalition formed by the US last month to combat the Houthi attacks.
Tumblr media
Despite repeated attacks, sea routes have not suffered injury or damage, but concerns persist about the potential disruption of global supply chains. Some shipping companies have opted for longer routes, completely bypassing the Red Sea.
The Houthi rebels promised to continue their attacks until Israel puts an end to the conflict in Gaza. The United Nations Security Council is expected to vote on a resolution condemning the attacks and demanding the release of the Galaxy Leader, a ship hijacked by the Houthis during its initial attack on maritime transport.
Tumblr media

As tensions increase in the region, the U.S. has mobilized significant military resources to prevent further attacks. The international community is closely monitoring the situation, aware of the potential impact on global trade, especially given the strategic importance of the Suez Canal.
The recent successful interception by U.S. and UK forces highlights the current challenges in the region and raises concerns about the potential for a broader conflict.
Tumblr media
Al Masirah, Yemen's Houthi news media, previously reported that ships crossing the Red Sea do not have protective coverage, despite the presence of U.S. warships equipped with advanced defense systems. Despite being the poorest Arab nation, Yemen's Houthi rebels have a substantial arsenal of missiles and drones. Located more than 1,000 km away, the Houthis are changing the trajectories of the missiles and challenging the coalition's stection systems as they launch missiles against Israel.
Tel Aviv is unable to face this distant threat, fearing the potential of an international crisis if it is dragged into a war with Yemen. In addition, the geographical distance represents a risk of disruption of sea routes, as highlighted in the statement.
Tumblr media
At the beginning of the crisis, the U.S. was reluctant to increase tensions, refraining from firing at Yemen, despite the missiles being launched by the Houthis towards the Red Sea. U.S., British and French warships in the Red Sea have the ability to intercept Houthi missiles and drones. However, the increasing cost and uncertainty of reaching each of them become significant challenges, especially in the face of a potential "swarm" attack by the Houthis - a tactic that involves the simultaneous launch of multiple drones and missiles, similar to Russia's actions in Ukraine.

Iranian-backed Houthi rebels in Yemen have released the crew of the Galaxy Leader vessel, which had been held for over a year following its hijacking off the Yemeni coast. According to reports from Houthi-run Al Masirah TV, the crew was freed as part of efforts to support the recently signed ceasefire agreement between Israel and the Hamas movement in Gaza. The release was facilitated through coordination with Hamas and mediation efforts by the Sultanate of Oman.
The crew, which includes citizens from Bulgaria, Ukraine, the Philippines, Mexico, and Romania, was handed over to Oman. Among them are two Bulgarian nationals, Captain Lyubomir Chanev and Chief Mate Danail Veselinov. Captain Chanev’s sister confirmed the release in a telephone interview with bTV.
Updates:
Bulgarian authorities have confirmed the release of Lyubomir Chanev and Danail Veselinov, the captain and assistant captain of the Galaxy Leader ship, who were detained in Yemen for over a year. According to a statement by MEP Elena Yoncheva, the sailors are currently on their way to Muscat, Oman. Yoncheva, who is already in Muscat, announced that a Bulgarian delegation led by Foreign Minister Georg Georgiev is expected to arrive there tonight. The delegation plans to make a joint statement and provide further details regarding the release.
Chanev and Veselinov were detained alongside 23 other crew members on the Husus ship, and their release marks the end of a prolonged captivity. Yoncheva mentioned that a special flight by Omani Airlines is expected to bring the sailors to Muscat within hours. The delegation and Yoncheva will oversee the final arrangements for their return to Bulgaria.
Arabist Prof. Vladimir Chukov commented on Nova TV that the release of the Galaxy Leader crew was facilitated following an agreement influenced by Hamas. He explained that the status of the detained sailors was comparable to that of hostages held by Hamas. According to Chukov, the Houthi rebels had previously set conditions for the sailors' release, linking it to the cessation of the Gaza conflict. Following the recent Israel-Hamas agreement, the conditions for their release were met, and the crew was freed.
Chukov expressed optimism that the broader agreement between Israel and Hamas could hold, potentially enabling the release of additional hostages in the future. Meanwhile, Yoncheva reiterated that the Bulgarian sailors are safe and expected to return home soon.
Houthi leader Abdulmalik al-Houthi reportedly directed the release of the crew. The Bulgarian Foreign Ministry had been engaged in intensive discussions regarding the situation and expressed optimism that the ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas would contribute to resolving the case. The ministry highlighted the potential for the agreement to stabilize the Middle East and de-escalate regional tensions.
MEP Elena Yoncheva disclosed that she had been in contact with key negotiators working on the release. She had received unofficial assurances earlier this month that the crew's release was imminent, though it was not explicitly mentioned in the ceasefire agreement. Yoncheva also noted that Yemeni authorities hinted at forthcoming positive developments.
The vessel’s crew, seized over a year ago, has now been safely transferred, marking a significant development in the protracted situation.

YEMENI HOUTHI FORCES LAUNCH DRONE STRIKES TARGETING EILAT IN THE SOUTH OF OCCUPIED PALESTINE
The Ansarallah Houthi Movement Forces in Yemen have announced the launching of cross-border drone strikes targeting Eilat in the south of occupied Palestine on Saturday, December 16th.
"We have carried out a military operation on sensitive targets in Eilat using a large batch of drones," Yehya Sarea, Houthi military spokesman, said in a statement aired by the Houthi-run al-Masirah TV.
"We confirm that we will continue to attack Israel until its aggression against our steadfast brothers in the Gaza Strip stops," Sarea added without elaborating.
Although Occupation Authorities have not commented on the strike, Egyptian media is reporting that Egyptian air defenses shot down a suspected drone headed towards occupied territory in the eastern Sanai coast, south of Eilat.
This comes just one day after Yemeni Houthi Military Forces targeted two ships heading towards Israel in the southern Red Sea, near the Bab al-Mandab Straight. There were no reported casualties in the incident.
Yemen's Ansarallah Houthi Movement controls most of northern Yemen, including the Yemeni capital, Sana'a and the Red Sea port city of Hodeidah.
