JimmyTimmy fic idea!

AU where Jimmy and Timmy never met as kids and live in the same dimension.

Jimmy and Timmy end up married after a wild, drunken night together. After sobering up, Jimmy wastes no time getting annulment papers so they can forget it ever happened. Over and done with, right?

Only Timmy doesn't sign the papers. One night was all it took for him to fall hard for Jimmy; he wants to stay married.

Jimmy is horrified, but his options are limited. He doesn't want to go to court and risk ruining his hard-won reputation as a respectable scientist in the scientific community by having them find out about his drunken marriage, but he also doesn't want to stay married to a total stranger (and a completely annoying one at that.

Eventually Timmy offers him a deal: give him time (a few months??) and a chance to win Jimmy over. If, after his time is up and Jimmy still wants Timmy to leave, then he'll sign the papers and they go their separate ways.

Jimmy ends up reluctantly taking the deal in order to preserve his good name.

Cue Timmy's attempts at wooing his new husband and Jimmy's attempts to annoy his husband into leaving him, all the while fighting his burgeoning feelings for the man.

Mrs. Dowd (in the same room with him): You can't go out and eat dinner with—

Mr. Dowd: NO! I don't like him!

Mrs. Dowd: You don't like anyone, BRYAN! You're such an asshole that you can't even be a little less of an asshole and have dinner with your son and his boyfriend!

Bryan: No, MELISSA, because he could do way better! I don't give a shit about him being whatever, but he needs someone not as weird and talkative! ADHD my ass, that's an excuse for lazy people!

Melissa: Ah yes, you know about that stuff you failed psychiatrist!

Bryan: Big talk coming from the woman who managed to fail clown college!

Tim: How long does this usually go on for?

Tim turned to an older woman with grey hair and aviator glasses. The elderly woman smiled warmly.

Grandma: We'll be finished with dinner by the time they finally leave the room... I love my daughter so very much, but—

Melissa: YOU CAN'T EVEN DEFEND ME! COWARD!

Joey: APOLOGIZING TO THE NEIGHBOR AFTER YOU SPRAYED THEIR CAT WITH A HOSE SO WE WOULDN'T GET SUED ISN'T COWARDLY! THE FACT I STAYED WITH YOUR CRAZY ASS AND HAVEN'T CHEATED ON YOU MEANS YOU'RE VERY LUCKY!

Melissa: HA! YOU COULDN'T CHEAT ON ME, YOU LOOK LIKE DAHMER!

i think it's not my place to speak but the way johnnys disability was treated at the end of steel ball run feels wrong

the fact that BG3 doesn't have any companions from the short DND races, nor are any romanceable (meanwhile you can have brief romance scenes with two separate demons and a mind flayer), the fact that BG2 not only has no dwarf/gnome/etc. romances but doesn't let you romance any of the non-EE companions (except Aerie) if you're playing one, the fact that as far as I know (I've only played Origins), Dragon Age only has one dwarf romance across all of their games.......

and it can't just be "oh it would be extra work to animate due to the height difference" because these games all allow you to play as short characters. so what gives.

Lois & Clark: TNAOS 4x14

I love this moment so much. He's been having dreams that she's being taken from him. She tries to reassure him that they're just dreams, that she's right there in front of him. But he's still so unsure. Objectively, he knows she's there and she's safe, but he's having trouble trusting in that. I love the way her face softens when she realizes what he needs. She realizes that making love and having that deep physical and emotional connection is going to help him believe that she's real and safe and isn't going to be taken from him.

I don't know how so many people have so little appreciation for season 4. This is what season 4 is about- their love and how they take care of each other, and how they love each other so deeply. They had spent almost a year in a relationship where we watched their relationship grow and mature. They didn't have sex before they got married and I think that makes season 4 more special, tbh. The writers make it clear that they have a healthy sex life. Season 4 portrays a happy and healthy marriage between them with emotional intimacy and physical intimacy. They don't just get married and continue the same way as before. Their relationship continues to grow and get deeper.
