OK but the fact that witches have fangs but they're not visible because the art style doesn't show it, yet they deliberately chose to give Adrian prominent large fangs is pretty entertaining to me as an art nerd.
Like animating fangs on characters (from what I've heard) is difficult because they have to be consistent and be kept the same size whenever the character talks.
Yet despite all that, they still chose to give him larger fangs than most witches.
I mean there have been implications that witches have fangs. One example is Gus's bucket list.
So witches do indeed have fangs but they're not visible to the audience, but they are indeed there. In universe, they have baby fangs that they lose, then later their adult ones grow in. (Kinda cute ngl)
There there's also Katya, who has fangs but they're smaller.
So I guess that all witches have fangs, but only a select few have more prominent ones than others.
It could be that Katya and Adrian have some beast or biped in their family tree somewhere. So that's why their fangs are more visible.
In Adrian's case, it seems that it's true for him as he also has his tail. Not too sure about Katya though.
And then there’s the outlier Eberwolf who I'm pretty sure has fangs, yet they're only shown when he enters "power up beast mode". (I might be wrong on some of this I haven't seen Eberwolf scenes in a hot minute)
Idk, this is just me putting my thoughts into the void. Hope you enjoyed my analysis I guess lol.

Let us talk about the 'guitar' scene shall we?
Boeing comes in to 'see' Sand and comments on how Sand is still using the 'same' guitar implying that this was not a new conversation.
He also asks When will he get a new guitar? also implying that he has indeed asked him this before and Sand's expression is clearly showing that he had indeed offered some explanation for this before this and does not want to do the same again. This is showing familiary and that Boeing was the one who was the 'old' one in Sand's life(also that inspite of knowing sand is using an old guitar,he never gave or never even tried or thought about giving a new one to Sand).
Cut to Ray giving Sand a 'New' guitar. This is a great symbolism of him being the 'New' one in Sand's life(also the one who actually gave sand a new guitar when he noticed that sand wanted one) and the one who remembered which was the guitar sand wanted.
Sand saying he feels a liitle bad for taking it but want it and asking can he have it while smiling
that big showing he's indeed not feeling bad and very happy that Ray noticed and cared enough to buy a new one for him.
He's at that stage of relationship with Ray(comfortable and boyfriend-y) where he can accepts gifts from Ray without feeling like he's giving up his self worth and for someone like Sand that's a huge thing.
Therefore I hereby conclude that Sand and Ray are in fact very much in Love and understand each other and Boeing can take his homewreking and cheating assTM and go fuck himself.

i have genuinely so many thoughts about how the book Lieutenant Hornblower was adapted and how most of the changes work, when accounting for the fact it must necessarily leave Bush's POV in order to work as television, and how those changes end up fucking over Bush's character in the movies, and how he was further pilfered by the series' decision to maintain characters like Styles and Kennedy. There is so much going on in there. Unfortunately, I don't yet own a copy of Lieutenant Hornblower, and having to constantly borrow it from my library is a faff and prevents me using post its to mark important passages. :(

Oh I’ve just had a thought about the couch metaphor!!!
So we know that the couch is tied to romantic relationships for Buck, but that it also seems to be tied to familial ones as well.
Chris being the one to bring up bucks lack of couch, Bucks parents being the ones to buy him his replacement (uncomfortable) couch, Buck falling asleep on the Diaz couch, both Diaz’s falling asleep on the Diaz couch (separately), Eddie not sitting on the couch when he is alone but is talking to Buck etc
We also know that Bucks current couch is the wrong couch - in terms of his romantic relationships. But it is also the wrong couch in terms of familial relationships as well - his parents choosing it for him, not Buck so its representative of Buck not getting to choose the family he was born with - which is why he can’t get comfortable on it before he goes over to Eddies and falls asleep. This is nothing we haven’t already discussed.
But the thing thats occurred to me is; as it seems likely that Kameron’s waters breaking on the couch may play some part in destroying it, that would also be the perfect metaphor for Kameron and Connors family not being the right family for Buck either - the life he helped create not being his family and re-enforcing the idea that DNA doesn’t make a family (double whammy of the Buckley parents and C&K’s Baby not being his family despite sharing DNA) because your family will meet you where you’re at (which also applies to Bucks romantic life but we’re not there yet with him) and that made me think about the fact that bothDiaz’s may comment on Buck not having a couch and that being weird, but they don’t pressure him in to actually replacing it- they just go along with where he’s at. Maddie is the other person - she sits with him on his armchair - symbolic of her meeting him where he’s at as well - she has accepted his reasoning for taking his time choosing a couch because he wan’t to pick the right one.
There is one other aspect in all this - the fact we haven’t seen Buck on the Diaz couch (until 6x12) since the will reveal - we saw him on it a lot in season 4 - playing games with Chris and then sleeping on it when Eddie was in hospital and then anything Diaz house related with buck took place in the dining room, Eddie’s bedroom or half in the kitchen in season 5 (Andrew Meyers I’d like to have a word please because he wrote Chris and Buck on the couch in s4 + suspicion which set up Buck on the couch in 4x14 and then he wrote 6x01 and 6x12 so its likely he is responsible for the whole couch metaphor) and then the first time we see him on that couch again, its in combination with a scene where they actually talk about the shooting - all very telling about whats actually been going on in Bucks head since Eddie ‘Because Evan’d’ Buck - figuring out exactly where he fits in the Diaz family!
And actually Bucks coma dream and his feeling different in the aftermath all plays into this too - his feeling guilty about Christopher (who he doesn’t refer to by name) and Eddies physical absence - which its implied the Buck has figured out all play into the idea of Buck mentally battling with them being family - the sorry your not real implies that Buck doesn’t believe he’s a father to Chris at this point, but that things start to become clearer in the aftermath - as his math powers fade
So however we see Bucks couch meet its end in 6x18, if we do get to see him end up on the Diaz couch - choose his family - in the end then all those familial metaphors come full circle an that has really been Bucks arc for the season (actually his low key arc since 4x14!)- family and familial love - the thing he needs to feel secure in before he can focus on romantic love.

Ugh it's a shame that while I'm able to write about Mark's survivor's guilt as depicted in canon, I can only speculate about the same mental health issue for this boi:
...without canon onscreen references that intentionally depict survivor's guilt.
Especially whereby a person puts a wall between themselves and loved ones.
Owl House just...ran out of the needed runtime, when you just know they wanted to explore the layers of those deep-seated sorts of issues

hi robin c:
i was wondering if you could tell me about the passenger like what it’s about & if it’s worth the watch?
feel free to go into as much detail as you want i’ve seen you post about it & got curious about it. it’s always nice hearing about it from someone who enjoys it yknow?
please & thank you 🖤
I'm really bad at explaining things in a good way, and my brain isn't really all there today BUT I'LL TRY MY BEST!!!
okay SO!!!!
The story is basically about Randy, who at the start of the movie is just a shadow of a person due to a traumatic event in his childhood he blames himself for; and his coworker Benson, who has had enough of Randy being bullied and walked all over by literally everyone all the time, so he decides to change that (with a shotgun). Benson then takes Randy on a journey, revisiting all the significant people and moments in Randy's life to try and fix him, aggressively pushes Randy past his own self imposed restrictive limits. Because Benson believes there's still hope for Randy! And he can't fucking stand it that Randy's not living his life to the fullest!!!!!! (for Reasons ™ hinted at over the course of the movie)
The movie starts out like a run of the mill horror movie, blood and violence and murder, but then transforms into a heavily emotional and tragic story about seeing yourself and all your pain and suffering reflected in someone, trying to fix them, to push them into action, into a better life, to prevent them from ending up the way you think you did. Broken, twisted, beyond help or saving.
Also the homoromanticism and homoeroticism of it all, the gentle touches, the reassurances, mixed with the violence, the lashing out, the loss of control......
If you're not put off by blood and violence and gun use, I'd definitely recommend this film!!!!!!! And I guarantee it'll rock your emotional world, because it sure did rock mine!!!!!!!!!
