You taste like heaven, the musk of your arousal like the nectar of the gods with each swipe of their tongue. The sounds that leave you make their heart race in their chest, regardless of if they’re hushed whispers of their names or desperate pleas of “more, please, faster—“ They just want more of you.

So they guide your fingers to their hair, and it’s the only real warning you get before their efforts double over. Spit and pleasure drips down their chin, but they don’t care that they’re a mess. They’re a mess for you, in service of you and your voice and the roll of your hips against their mouth as they guide you closer and closer to your climax until finally—finally—the thread snaps and you fall apart.

Even then, they don’t pull away just yet. They swallow what they can, then lick up the rest, even if that means you’re both still a mess afterwards.

“You’re so pretty…” They press a chaste kiss against your inner thigh, too drunk off of you to say or do anything else. When you meet their eyes you can see the pure adoration in them, as well as their own need writhing tortuously from the effect you have on them. Lilium (lily)

Summer is fading fast and I think it's a good time to do a celebration of the lily. Time marches on in my garden and my yellow lilies are long gone. However I've encountered a number of handsome specimens of this flower in the past few weeks and I think this post represents the lily in all of it's color variations.

Personally, I like the orange tiger lily, Lilium lancifolium and the white Madonna lily, Lilium candidum the best.

Nosferatu (2024) is unquestionably a multifaceted work, but what I personally consider to be the unifying idea behind its facets is that, for Ellen, Orlok represents validation.

Her fears are dismissed and called childish?.. He's a nightmarish manifestation of them.

She is consistently disrespected by everyone around her?.. He considers her his only equal. She never uses his title, it's permitted.

She is told to fix herself, misunderstood, and always isolated?.. He knows all the darkest parts of her and is delighted by them. He wants her just as she is, so much that he will lie, kill, and cross the ocean to find her.

The scene in their death/wedding bed is a direct parallel to the scene of her waking in that bed at the beginning of the film. She complains to Thomas that the "honeymoon is yet too short" and tries to pull him down with a kiss - however, he is worried about being late for work, and so he extricates himself and leaves. Cut forward to her sharing the same bed with Orlok, similarly early in the morning; he is startled by cock-crow and begins to rise, but she guides his head back down - and, even though he knows that he will die, he stays. He is her sexual and emotional desire, realized.

Given that there is a plethora of emotions Ellen is forced to suppress on daily basis, there is no singular correct interpretation of her relationship with Orlok. To erase any one of them is to render it shallower than it actually is; but there is no doubt as to why their attachment is mutual. To each, the other is something they’ve never had before.

Hi! I hope you're having a good day. I don't really know where I'm going with this ask, or if this is the right place, but I know it's going to be full of praise! I only recently discovered your Tumblr, and I've been wanting for years to tell you how much I love your writing, so this was such a delight. There's a bit of a backstory, here, really; discovered you through Lily and then I stayed for the Twilight, and oh my gosh. Genuinely the first thing I recommend to anyone asking is any of your works. I waited weeks for an archive invite SPECIFICALLY to read your fics once you went private, and the desire to laugh helplessly over Painting Red Madonnas and Less Than Immaculate Conception was so strong that's what urged me to getting an account in the first place, because my despair was so great when I found out they were privated that I simply saw no other recourse. They're some of my favourite stories in the world, honestly, and they've given me so much joy and laughter and hours of entertainment, I really can't thank you and Vinelle enough. I particularly fell in love with how you wrote Marcus and Bella - there's so much fascinating interaction and complexity to be taken from that pair and I'm so thrilled you explored it. Absolutely lovely. On that topic (I am so sorry, I'm rambling), I saw that you don't plan to come back to Glass Slipper because you felt you had already explored all dynamics and plots that you needed to in various fics, and I don't at all want to come across as, like, I don't know, demanding or something. I just wanted to let you know that I enjoyed the story immensely and loved the little bit of Marcus/Bella in that story that we got, as I'm such a sucker for the recovery and the connection and the personalities the way you wrote them. You could honestly keep writing the same few plots and relationships and I would eat up every one, no hesitation. I don't think I'll manage to explain how much I love all of it but this ask is getting so bizarrely long! Long story short: fantastic, fantastic, fantastic. Also, congratulations on publishing The Heart of the World!!!
