my job is great because I can tell my friends that today I was handling packages and ended up covered in goop 🤤
my job fucking sucks because I was handling packages and got covered in goop 😫
#it smelled like coconut and the most likely culprit of the boxes i pulled out was from target so i thinknit was some kind of lotion or oil?#not any actual hazardous material anyway#but they had some new hire working that truck at first and he sucked ass#and he just loaded the box and all the ones covered in the shit leaking out of them normally#so i had to dig it out and got goop fucking everywhere#also before i realized any of this had happened i sat on the floor to rearrange some stuff there#right in a puddle of goop#couldnt even go into the truck untilthe hazmat guy cleared it which took forever#because there was such a mess we couldnt tell which package was leaking#also the new hire proceeded to do something else all day even though i desperately needed all day help#so my area was a fucking nightmare by the end of the day 😌#which is fine because my drivers know it wasnt my fault but still it sucks because i had to do a shitty job to wrap as quickly as possible#so it was sloppier than i would have liked

I just took a cold shower and dried off and my body is already warm enough that my coconut oil from the fridge melts on my skin.
#I’m so soft. and so warm. mhhhhhb <3#I’m not a coconut oil girl — using the kind I’d use to cook rn because I haven’t bought cheaper lotion yet#I have my Nuxe oil of course but I want something not quite as luxurious for when I shower at night#and I do miss my vanilla body butter tbh. like for my legs maybe? my stomach?

okay I've had the same bar shampoo for a month and a half now ish and like yeah I do not shower everyday so it's probably holding up cuz of that but I'm really surprised at how long its lasted. same with the soap. anyway my skin is a little less itchy and I have way less scabs on my scalp still trying to find a good option for lotion that isnt in plastic and isnt greasy but I got two little sample lotions and 2 deodorants that dont have plastic and they seem okay. dont love how sticky they are and it's hot so they're a little melty but otherwise so far so good. well have to play the waiting game to find out if they break me out
#personal#genes skincare adventures ig#i also made a little eczema lotion with coconut and olive oil and oatmeal and lacender and that seems to help but its greasy#idk what to do about my face cuz i dont want to use a greasy lotion on it but 🤷♂️ ig i can just keep buying my normal eczema cream for#that and just pnly use it for my face thats still reducing

Best Makeup for Women Over 50: Simple Tips for Beautiful Skin
As we get older, our skin changes, and that means our makeup needs to change too. For women over 50, the goal is to find makeup that makes you look fresh and natural. Whether it's for everyday wear or a special occasion, the right makeup can boost your confidence and enhance your beauty. Let’s dive into the Best Makeup Women Over 50 tips that will make your skin look its best.
Why Makeup for Women Over 50 Is Different
As we age, our skin becomes drier and thinner. This means some makeup products may not work the same way they did when we were younger. For mature skin, it’s important to choose makeup that hydrates, smooths, and lifts. The right makeup can bring out your natural beauty, making you feel amazing at any age.
Best Makeup Tips for Women Over 50
Here are some easy tips to help you create a beautiful and youthful look:
1. Moisturize First
Before applying makeup, make sure your skin is well-moisturized. Dry skin can make makeup look patchy and settle into fine lines. Use a good moisturizer to hydrate your skin, giving you a smooth base for makeup.
2. Pick the Right Foundation
As our skin changes, our foundation needs do too. Choose a lightweight foundation that gives you enough coverage without being too heavy. A dewy finish looks natural and fresh. Avoid thick, cakey foundations that can settle into fine lines.
Best Foundations for Women Over 50:
Estée Lauder Double Wear Stay-in-Place Makeup
L’Oréal Paris True Match Super-Blendable Foundation
IT Cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC+ Cream
3. Skip Heavy Powder
While powder can help set makeup, it can also make skin look dry and highlight fine lines. Instead, use a setting spray or a light dusting of translucent powder on areas where you tend to get oily.
4. Soft Eyeshadow for a Fresh Look
For eyes, go for soft, neutral shades that brighten your eyes without looking too harsh. Avoid dark, matte eyeshadows, which can make your eyes look smaller. Try shimmering shades to add light and make your eyes pop.
Best Eyeshadows for Women Over 50:
Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Cream Shadow Stick
Urban Decay Naked3 Palette
Clinique All About Shadow
5. Fill in Your Brows
Thinning brows are common as we age. Filling them in can help frame your face and make you look more youthful. Use a brow pencil or powder that matches your hair color and apply lightly for a natural look.
Best Brow Products for Women Over 50:
Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz
Benefit Cosmetics Gimme Brow+ Volumizing Eyebrow Gel
NYX Professional Makeup Micro Brow Pencil
6. Add Length to Lashes
Mascara can help add volume and length to lashes, making your eyes look bigger and more awake. Use a lengthening mascara that doesn’t clump, and consider using a lash curler for extra lift.
Best Mascaras for Women Over 50:
Lancôme Monsieur Big Mascara
Maybelline New York Lash Sensational Mascara
L’Oréal Paris Voluminous Lash Paradise
7. Natural Blush for a Healthy Glow
Blush adds a healthy glow to your face. Cream blushes are great because they keep your skin looking fresh and hydrated. Apply blush to the apples of your cheeks for a natural flush of color.
Best Blush for Women Over 50:
NARS Cream Blush
Clinique Chubby Stick Cheek Colour Balm
Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush
8. Go for Soft Lip Colors
For lips, choose soft, natural shades that match your lip color. Hydrating lipsticks keep your lips soft and prevent them from drying out. Avoid matte lipsticks that can make lips look thinner.
Best Lip Products for Women Over 50:
Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Lipstick
Clinique Almost Lipstick
Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick
Ingredients to Look for in Makeup for Mature Skin
When shopping for makeup, it's important to choose products that care for your skin. Here are some key ingredients to look for:
1. Hyaluronic Acid
Hyaluronic acid helps keep your skin moisturized and plump. Look for makeup products with this ingredient to help your skin stay hydrated throughout the day.
2. Vitamin C
Vitamin C brightens the skin and helps reduce age spots. It’s a great ingredient for keeping your skin looking fresh and youthful.
3. Peptides
Peptides can help your skin look firmer and reduce wrinkles. They help boost collagen, which is important for maintaining skin’s elasticity.
4. SPF Protection
Sun protection is a must at any age. Look for makeup products that include SPF to keep your skin safe from sun damage and prevent premature aging.
Makeup Remover for Women Over 50
At the end of the day, it's important to remove your makeup gently. Choose a makeup remover that hydrates and is suitable for mature skin.
Best Makeup Removers for Women Over 50:
CeraVe Hydrating Micellar Water
Neutrogena Hydrating Cleansing Oil
Clinique Take the Day Off Cleansing Balm
Makeup Trends for Women Over 50
As makeup styles change, there are some trends that look great on women over 50:
1. Glowy, Natural Skin
For a youthful look, choose makeup that gives your skin a natural glow. Skip heavy foundations and choose products that let your natural skin shine through.
2. Monochromatic Makeup
This look uses the same color on your eyes, cheeks, and lips. Soft, neutral colors like peach or pink create a balanced, youthful look.
3. Soft Cat Eyes
A soft cat-eye can define your eyes without looking harsh. Use a pencil liner and blend it slightly for a more natural, flattering effect.
Conclusion: Best Makeup for Women Over 50
The Best Makeup Women Over 50 is about enhancing your natural beauty and choosing products that make you feel confident. Focus on hydration, lightweight formulas, and soft colors that brighten your skin. No matter your age, makeup can be a fun and empowering way to express yourself and feel beautiful.

GLOW UP GUIDE FOR 2025⠀
READ: On average, it takes more than 2 months before a new behavior becomes automatic — 66 days to be exact. And considering that 2025 is precisely these many days away, why not start with our glow up plan already?
Physical Glow Up-
BODY
— 5-10K steps a day.
— 7-8 hours of sleep.
— workout everyday for 1 hr atleast- yoga/stretching/pilates/cardio/lifting weights. a workout may take one hour, but your mood will be boosted for the next 12 hours.
— posture training.
— sunlight exposure after waking up for at least 10 minutes.
NUTRITION
— 2-3 liters of water every day.
— limit your caffeine intake.
— avoid sugars as much as you can.
— high protein diet, pre and probiotics.
— more fruits and veggies (+ green smoothies if you like).
— no junk/processed food/trans fat.
— no eating after 8 pm.
SKINCARE
— be clear on your skin type (oily, dry, combination, sensitive).
— once you're clear, use these accordingly- cleanser, toner, targeted serum, eye cream, moisturizer, sunscreen (≥50 spf).
— keep your bedding clean as well.
— no picking of skin on your lips, cuticle etc.
— gua sha to help improve blood circulation and lessen toxins.
— cold therapy may take three to five minutes of being uncomfortable, but your energy levels will be boosted for the rest of the day.
— remove makeup before you go to bed.
BODY CARE
— shower every day.
— exfoliate 2x a week.
— use body lotion (shea butter/aloe vera gel/coconut oil).
HAIR CARE
— wash hair 2-3x a week
— oil your scalp 2x a week, at least 3 hours before shampoo.
— hair mask 1x per week.
— never brush wet hair.
— use silk pillow case.
HYGIENE
— brush your teeth 2x a day, clean tongue and the roof of the mouth daily.
— floss daily.
— cut your nails 1x a week, never remove the cuticles.
— glycolic acid under arm for odor and discoloration.
— never use soap on your coochie.
Mental Glow Up-
MINDSET
— set clear goals- define and breakdown your aspirations.
— start your mornings with positive affirmations.
— surround yourself with uplifting content and people.
— be shamelessly selfish to your career and mental health, remove anyone or anything that doesn't align with your priorities and wellbeing.
— boost your brain health by these 4 neuroscience tools:
difficult first: start your day with the most difficult task (cortisol and dopamine are high in the body meaning that your body/mind is primed to work).
rest your eyes: introduce a micro-pause after learning by resting/closing your eyes - will help retain information better.
tomorrow's worries: write tomorrow's to-do list before bed as it is proven to be effective in helping you fall asleep.
find time to play: engage in low-stake play. can be anything you find fun but where the outcome doesn't matter (induces neuroplasticity + reduces stress).
MIND
— meditation might take as low as ten minutes, but your focus will be improved for the rest of the day.
— no social media after waking up and at least an hour before bed.
— keep aside 1 hr of time to read daily! reading a new book may take five hours, but you will keep the knowledge forever.
— journaling, gratitude.
— digital detox once a week or for 12 hours.
— limit unnecessary screentime, unfollow or cut off people you don't want to see.
JOURNALING
— choose a regular time each day to journal, making it a part of your routine.
— find a quiet, comfortable place free from distractions. light a candle if you want.
— allow your thoughts to flow without censoring or editing.
— write about your feelings and emotions to understand them better. write about things you are thankful for to boost your mood. write about your short-term and long-term goals. identify what triggers certain emotions or reactions
— set a timer for 5-10 minutes and write continuously during that time.
— reflect on both positive experiences and challenges.
— make lists, journal your thoughts on these questions.
— journal at night to clear your mind before bedtime, because emotions and thoughts lose their power once we acknowledge them.
— a gratitude practice may take five minutes, but your mindset will be shifted for the rest of the day.
AFFIRMATIONS
— customise affirmations to your needs.
Personal Life-
WEEKLY TASKS
— initiate small changes: begin with small, manageable tasks such as making your bed or cleaning your room every sunday.
— celebrate your success: reward yourself when you achieve your goals or have a consistently productive week. consider treats like buying flowers for yourself or watching your favorite show.
DAILY WORK
— set achievable goals: establish realistic goals for the day, week, or month ahead.
— track your progress.
— organise your work space, declutter your shelves etc.
— embrace the power of lists: keep a list of tasks to be done and their deadlines. this way, you start each day with a clear plan. to make it visually appealing and motivating, consider using productivity apps like evernote, habit tracker, or notion.
PRODUCTIVITY TIPS
— wake up early.
— plan ahead everything, do scheduling. you can use:
google calendar / notion / tasks .
— if the task takes less than 2 minutes to finish, do it immediately.
— countdown rule, if you are procrastinating, count 1-2-3-4-5 and jump.
— start slow, don't rush and try to do everything at one time.
— follow a proper routine, use app locks based on screentime.
— pomodoro technique, 25 min work, and 5 min break.
— schedule longer break times as well e.g 30 min nap.
