LostTale Brainrot hit after the sketch of Lost this morning so I decided to draw his new design in more detail instead of a quick sketch lol

his AU is still a WIP so his design changes every few months but as of rn I'm rl happy with his design :)))

Ignore the fact he doesn't have feet pls, I can't draw feet for the life of me- T^T

It was a great exercize and refamiliarized me to their vibes. I miss drawing these silly guys 👀

I recently got a new boy ^^ Lost A skeleton whose past has long been forgotten by everyone (even he himself has forgotten it) Now he is wandering, trying to help those who need it. He dreams of joining the star team, but considers himself superfluous among these three magnificent monsters.

He also loves butterflies very much, as he sees something beautiful in them. That's why he dresses like that, Lost wants to look as beautiful as a butterfly^^

LostTale!Sans or simply Lost!Sans, is one of the main protagonists and characters in the AU known as LostTale, where he is the older son of W.D Gaster and the older brother of Papyrus, as well as a close friend to Frisk.

Backstory = Lost!Sans originated from the universe known as LostTale, where he is the oldest son of W.D Gaster and the older brother of Papyrus. He grew up in his AU alongside his younger brother Papyrus. At some point, he befriended both Undyne and Alphys, along with becoming close friends with Frisk. Being the first son of Gaster, he worked as one of his father's assistant scientists, alongside his old friend Alphys. Sans shared an extremely close bond with his younger brother Papyrus, who he was very fond of, as he said he taught Papyrus everything he knows. Overall, he lived happily in his AU, till Chara started killing all of the monsters, including Papyrus. So, Sans and Frisk stood against her, with them losing, then Frisk allowed Sans to absorbed her determination soul, boosting his powers and abilities, to combat Chara. While the battle continued, their entire universe was glitched out, with Sans ended up in another universe. Sans named himself Lost!Sans, and he hope to find and rebuild his AU. During his travel through multiple universes, he befriended UnderTale.Last!Sans, AfterTale.Black/White!Sans, UnderFell.G!Sans, SwapFell.BLK!Sans, and many others.

i think the thing a lot of papyrus takes get wrong is that they forget that, among other things, papyrus is funny. in my experience writing papyrus, i often find the most funny line is the most in-character one. an unfunny papyrus doesn’t ever feel like an accurate papyrus to me. it’s more than part of the game, it’s part of his character. and disregarding that is what messes up a lot of otherwise good impressions of him.

I am LIVING for the head cannon going around that Xie Lian has actually lost it centuries ago and his beautiful husband, Hua Cheng the Crimson Rain Sought Flower Ghost King himself, is actually a putrefied abomination/horrific creature of the night and he just doesn't see it.

BUT! Why leave the other calamity ghosts out of this fun filled horror fest??

It's not my best art but I've been learning anatomy and how to draw body's so I figured I'd try it out with Lost :3

Unrelated to my last post, here's Lost!Sans after so many years!

I posted about him once on my other blog, but the jist is that Lost has short-term memory loss. He can open portals between AUs with ease (too much ease tbh. Those things kinda corrosive) and with each portal he forgets what happened previously. Near everyone in the multiverse knows him, but he never recognizes them, no matter how important to him they once were or how long he's with them in one AU. All he knows consistently is that he needs to go home, and he'll know when he sees it. (More Lore under the Cut)

Most beings in the multiverse don't bother with him, viewing him as a lost cause. (No pun intended.) Haphazard has unwittingly gotten really attached to him, tho. Hap's job (as the kid of Error+Ink) was to patch the connection between AUs to avoid destabilization. Lost regularly tore open extremely destructive portals between them, and Hap had to trail and close them up. At first he hated Lost, but it slowly turned into care and he mostly just makes sure Lost doesn't get hurt in AUs.

And to be entirely honest, the black magic from his skull, the bandages, they're a mystery. All I've got rn is that his ordinal AU was just normal Undertale, but it was always raining, in all the areas, hence the rain coat. Nothing special about him.
