What I learned from them:

Those few, very loud people who are condemning Narmer straight away and are calling him on nasty terms both in my inbox and in the comments (which I delete straight away mind you), are only a small minority, which is a relief. On that note, I'd also like to remind these people that if you say or ask things about me or my work (and that includes my characters) that are offensive and untrue, you're gonna get blocked. I don't care how justified you think you are. Respectful criticism is welcome. Harassment is not. I will not let anyone ruin the experience for others (including myself), especially for those who haven't played the game yet. I'm aiming for a safe and healthy place here where people can express their opinions in a respectful manner. If you are aiming for that too, then you are more than welcome here. Now back to more pleasant matters!

The majority of you are not quick to jump to conclusions, which was again nice to see.

Many of you are keeping faith in him despite everything, which was surprising, but I'm very happy those first two chapters were not in vain.

Some of you got Zaia's comments in that meeting and were able to connect some dots 👀 A lot more people than I expected!

I should have included an extra option about finding Narmer hot as hell. No comment 😅

All in all, the results were a lot more positive than what I expected, but maybe I was only pessimistic because of those few people who kept sending quite hateful messages. So thanks everyone for voting! I can't wait to see your reactions to future events as well! ❤️

Hello! It's now time for your nightly update/reminders 😊

Our fundraiser for the California Fire Foundation is holding steady at $3745 tonight! The fundraiser will run until January 23rd. I will try to give a warning a couple of hours in advance before I turn off donations. You can donate through the GoFundMe, or directly to the organization. If you do the latter, please send me a receipt (private info removed) of your donation so I can add it to our total.

On January 24th, I will provide a recap of what was raised for the California Fire Foundation, plus what was donated to other organizations, and a combined total.

On the 25th, I will post a poll with information on five organizations. You will all have a chance to vote on which organization you would like us to fundraise for in February. This will start 335 Donation Drive, where our total goal will remain at $335 (118+217), although it's less about meeting goals and more about raising awareness for organizations that otherwise may not get as much recognition.

In another universe, I believe Scott Tibbs could be a ghostface.

He prides himself on the way he thinks and fancies himself a leader of sorts, but I think Scott Tibbs is a bit susceptible to influence and bandwagons (anything for the clout!) So it’s easy to think he’d be a copycat ghostface lol

Why do I love WN? Hmm, I already wrote a pretty lengthy ramble, so let me paste that again.

I think this is a good time to say something about Warrior Nun - because most of the tags from the other fandom are "I don't even know these girls!" Then you might be curious about what this freaking ship is and why people love Avatrice so much. To avoid spoilers, let me just focus on *my* feelings about this ship (and this amazing show).

I came across Warrior Nun on my twt timeline because some of my friends didn't stop talking about it. I was curious and watched the show - and fell in love. 

Hmm, what can I say? It reminds me of the feeling of first love - when you really don't know what it is, but you realize "this must be it, otherwise how could I feel this way?". The pure happiness you feel just by looking at someone (not even as your gf). 

But there is a maturity in their love. The way you just want her to be happy - whether you will be able to see her or not. Oh, I can probably write 5k words here, and I already wrote 400k about their love on ao3. I still have more stories to write.

After I fell in love with it, the show was canceled by Netflix. It is a really good show and proved to be successful enough (we have a full report on ratings and popularity analysis). Still, it was canceled. So the fandom decided to be loud, to be heard, as much as possible, as far as possible. The fandom put up a billboard in front of the Netflix headquarters. Then sent an erotic pastry to Netflix executives (based on our internal jokes about a scene in the show). We want them to remember what our show means to us. We also want others to know how much fans support this show. I'm not going to tell ya what's happened in the last two years because it hasn't been an easy fight (well, it's been worth every second, though).

So the Warrior Nun fandom has some *history* too, if you ask me. And I fucking love that I haven't seen any disrespect to other fandoms from the WN side in this whole poll mess. I love WN so much, but I also respect every other fandom. We need more w/w representation, always.

It got long and less funny than I planned, but I hope this piques your curiosity about my favorite show. Please watch it and if you like it, join us to talk about it. We love new friends.

in lieu of having posted any writing/headcanons/asks in the past few days because i have been *so* busy and unable to do anything fandom-related which is terrible and evil, i have a poll out of morbid curiosity and self-indulgence. i've been meaning to ramble here about how i feel about DC's lack fo Deaf representation and which Batfam members i would personally make Deaf, but i am mildly curious about the larger opinion and now i will subject you all to the question, i would love to hear thoughts/opinions/headcanons on any specific choices. (would love d/Deaf/HoH opinions esp but i'm mostly expecting this to reach the hearing crowd, so opinions from hearing ppl are ones i'm very curious about. if you've never given it thought before you are going to now or else /lh)

when I was like 11, someone in my martial arts class told our master that he wasn't strong enough to do the thing we were doing (which was lifting + flipping people over the shoulder into a takedown)

And our master was like "not strong enough????? No!!! Everyone here is strong!! And if you're not strong you will Get strong!!! I will show you!!"

And then he picked ME to prove it to the class and internally I was like "okay this is fine. I can do the lift and flip this is just a tougher version bc it's an adult. Just pretend like they aren't all staring at you, lift, and flip"

But then he says that I am not doing the lift and flip and that instead I have to carry him on my back and I was like WHAT this a fully grown man and I'm 11 😭

But you can't tell him no. It's so rude! And everyone is staring at you. So I'm like "uh. Um. Okay!" And figured that I'd try my best to not collapse and then he'd have mercy after a couple of seconds and I'd be done

So everyone silently watched as I gave it my best try.

And???? I hate it when adults are right!!! I carried that man across the room!!!! We turned the corner even. We could have done laps. And our master was like "not strong enough?? Get stronger!!! And then you can do this too!!"

And then we all just went went to lifting and flipping, like I hadn't just unlocked the realization that I was strong enough to carry a man on my back

my biggest impediment to enjoying romance fanfic is that I think I just fucking hate pet names. I don't find them sweet or romantic even when it's canon for ships I like, so when people put noncanon ones in it doesn't feel like a cute extrapolation, it feels like someone is secretly putting zucchini in my chocolate cake.
