Life Is Not Fair
Is it true that life is not fair? Whatever your answer is, you are not wrong, but these are my viewpoints. When details are ignored, carelessness steps in, excuses take the stage of life, frustration and exhaustion lead the way, then a complaining spirit governs the soul, and people start chanting, “Life is not fair.” How can the poorest country in the world harbor the richest people in the…

god i have neverrrr everrrr everrrr been a morning workout kinda person i usually always workout after work around 5pm-ish, but since its october now and the days will start to get shorter and SAD will no doubt set in this year i wanna try switching things up for the first time and see what it does for my mood and body and brain if i workout in the mornings before work at 6am before or after i pray fajr salah instead.
#SAD wasnt /as bad/ last year but i wanna try some things out ... lifestyle changes ... shifting a few things around in my day to day routine#just to see if it does anything. bc after i workout i am always always in such a good mood so idk. i wanna see if thatd work in the mornings#before work. bc after work i used to think id be too tired to workout but i never was. its always a smash. so yeah.#and people are always like ohhh mornings are the best time to workout and whilst i dont believe that theres ever really 'a good time#to workout' (bc ANY time is a good time to! in ramadhan sometimes whilst i wait for suhoor i workout at 2am!)#i just wanna see what it does for me if i DO workout at 6am-ish. it'll be HARD at first bc i'll feel sluggish.#but idk i think i'm quite self-motivated and self-disciplined so it shouldnt take too long for it to become a habit. hopefully. iA.#and generally i am a morning person i LOVE mornings (but never tried working out during them) so yeah. i get up 6am everyday anyway.#and pray my fajr and then have my coffee and just sit with myself for an hour before i get ready to go work. so yeah. i dont meditate.#but fajr for me is my silent quiet introspection time. its so nice and peaceful to just sit and pray and think and practice gratitude.#so yeah i wanna mix working out in with it now too.#ANYWAY. all this to say that its never too late to change things up in life! freshen your routine up!#faiza talks

#QuoteOfTheDay (20230224): “Dirikan shalat Fajar. #Perform #Fajr #Your #day #will #brighten #even #before #sun #rise #better #than #worldly #life #JumuahMubaraka Telegram Channel https://t.me/x_QoTD https://www.instagram.com/p/CpBPpQ1ShPp/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

“You have been given that which suffices you but you desire that which will ruin you. You’re not content with a little nor are you quenched with a lot. How can a person ever work for the Hereafter when he can’t sever his desires from the Dunya (world)? The strangest of affairs is that of a person who believes firmly in the Home of Truth (Paradise) but yet strives only for the Home of Delusion (Dunya).”

#3 SELF CARE
✉️ : Self-care includes activities like eating well, exercising, and relaxing to maintain physical, mental, and emotional health. It's essential for managing stress and enhancing overall well-being.
Self-care is essential for maintaining balance
﹙ ✿ ﹚Taking care of yourself is about finding simple, comforting routines that make you feel good. Start with small steps, like taking a relaxing bath,do ur skincare , journal...Prioritize these moments and remember that they are just as important as anything else on your to-do list. Celebrate your progress, no matter how small, and choose activities that genuinely make you happy. Listen to your body and give yourself the rest and care you need. By focusing on what brings you comfort and joy, you'll create a self-care routine that feels natural and rewarding.
HOW TO START SELF-CARE ?
Have a routine: It is really important to have a routine because if not you could have bad sleeping, be tired all day, get boredeasily, won't be able to finish responsibilities, it can bring you bad self esteem, unmotivated and in general is a complete mess.

Allah can heal your hurting heart in the next second. He can change your situation the following day. He can make miracles happen for you the next morning you wake up. But right now your heart is throbbing with pain. Right now your life is falling apart. Right now nothing makes sense. But right now you're waking up to pray Fajr. Right now you're trying to remember Him throughout the day. Right now you're pouring your heart out to Him in duaa. Right now Allah wants you to keep bringing all the broken pieces to Him. To keep seeking His closeness and then one day just like that, weeks or months later– He will heal your heart. He will seal your wounds and there will only be faint scars left. The things that make you cry so much and keep you awake at night, they wont bother you so much anymore. He will make that happen for you. He will have mercy on your heart. But you have to travel the journey that leads you to Him. And when you look back you'll realise the moments that you were the most vulnerable were the sweetest moments of your life. They brought you back to your Creator.

4 habits that will change your life ✨
istighfar x100 a day
i cannot stress enough how powerful istighfar is. when i first started doing this x100 a day, i almost told my therapist i don't need therapy anymore because life suddenly got so much better lol. obviously, that didn't last because life isn't consistent and stable like that. nonetheless, istighfar protects you, it gives you strength through Allah's Mercy, it brings you closer to Him, it grants you peace and happiness. it doesn't take too long to do 100 times a day. just sit there after a prayer, i picked fajr, and recite 'astagfirullah' on your fingers like you would usually do tasbih after salah, or use beads etc. it takes about 5 minutes of your day and will change your life. try it every day for 1 week and see what happens.
dhikr when you wake up and before you go to bed
by doing this, you're starting and ending your day with the remembrance of Allah. my grandma used to say that the way you start your morning determines the rest of your day. it's also scientifically proven that the first thing your brain gets dopamine from is what your brain is going to look for the rest of the day. for eg, if you go on your phone as soon as you wake up, you're more likely to be tapping your phone, scrolling, going on your phone for the rest of the day. because it sets the tone!
so, if you start your day with the remembrance of Allah, not only are you getting blessings for it and improving your relationship with Him, but you'll set the tone for the rest of the day and will probably be more inclined to do dhikr later on too. i can testify that it definitely works. it's the best way to get your day started.
and when you end with dhikr, it's the same thing but in reverse--a peaceful way to end the day, easier to fall asleep and a great way to feel connected to Allah سُبْحَٰنَهُۥ وَتَعَٰلَىٰ. it's also scientifically proven that the condition you fall asleep in usually stays with the person all night. think about a time you've had such a good day/night and you fall asleep happy. did you wake up feeling good? what about when you've fallen asleep crying or upset? maybe the sleep was so good after but did you still wake up happy? so, if you go to sleep in a state of remembering Allah, you'll likely wake up in that state too.
now think about the benefits of doing dhikr as you go to bed and wake up every single day. you'll always be in a state of the remembrance of Allah! the Prophet ﷺ used to recite the last three surah's of the qur'an, ayatul kursi and the last two verses of surah baqarah. you can do any dhikr you'd like, 'subhanallah wa bihamdi' or 'alhamdulillah' or 'astagfirullah'. pick whatever you like.
surah mulk before bed
It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Prophet (ﷺ) said:
"There is a surah in the Qur'an, with thirty verses, which will intercede for its companion (the one who recites it) until he is forgiven: Tabarakal-ladhi bi yadihil mulk (Blessed is He in Whose Hand is the Dominion)." - Surah Mulk (Sunan Ibn Majah 3786)
surah mulk has lots of benefits, and Abdullah bin Mas‘ud (one of the companions of our beloved Prophet ﷺ) narrated that “whoever recites Surah al-Mulk every night, Allah will prevent the punishment of grave by this Surah”.
so clearly, there are a lot of benefits by reciting this surah that we will thank ourselves for in the next life - preparing for our akhirah (afterlife) is very important. you'll also end your day with the remembrance of Allah and have the specific reminder through this surah that everything belongs to Allah and is under His control. it helps me have nice dreams too.
it's not very long, it has 30 verses so it won't take a really long time.
learning a new surah bimonthly
this helps you build a relationship with the Qur'an and is a nice challenge for you to incorporate into your life. i recommend reading the translation and commentary of the surah first, so that you don't simply memorise it but know what it's about, what Allah is trying to say with the chapter and how you can live by it. but incorporating the memorisation of Allah's words into your life is a gamechanger: you'll build a bond with Allah, with the Qur'an and also with your salah too. because it's always exciting to be able to recite a new surah in your prayers - being able to do that multiple times a year is great.
start small and you will turn these all of these into habits. remember that the Prophet ﷺ said that 'the best of deeds are those which are done consistently, even if it is a little' (Sunan Ibn Majah 4240). what do we call things that are done consistently? habits!
start with one and do it every day for 30 days. then keep going and slowly add another once the first one has become fully established as a habit. sometimes we want to rush and do everything all at once and change our lives overnight. that's the worst thing to do because you'll either never do it or, you will start, then become so overwhelmed with so many new things to do that the habits won't stay and won't be long term. don't worry, we have our whole lives :) start slow and your life will change for the better. may Allah make it easy for us all, Ameen ♡
