Orin’s scorn isn’t just about tearing Raven down for fun (although she definitely enjoys that) it’s also her way of dealing with the fact that she can’t control him. Seeing him “wither” in his attachment to Gortash hits a nerve because, deep down, she knows she can’t understand or compete with that kind of bond. To her, it feels like weakness, and she can’t stand to see her sibling, someone who was supposed to be just like her, embrace it.

sure ango may have betrayed every organization under the sun but tachihara put in the effort to build up the perfect stereotypical gangstersona and act his silly little heart out for the perfect plot twist so we all know who deserves the award for best port mafia betrayal

The first time Gale talks at length about magic to Durge, Durge gets hit with a strong deja vu of Gortash doing the same thing but about engineering/machines/etc, and while Durge's brain has a huge hole in it and can't put a face or a name to the man in the memory, he immediately knows he's still very much into men who can talk passionately for 2 hours straight about their fav topic. A must have quality.
