If you can’t tell from the packaging, I adore the fact that they include Spanish on their products because it’s a Latinx owned company. If you’ve never tried this brand before, this is an amazing introduction to their products! I already adore fruity scented products. I’m someone with an overly sensitive nose but found none of these products to have an overpowering scent at all. I loved how the hair oil cut my hair shedding in the shower by half. Yes shedding some hair while you wash is normal, but I find when using a scalp scrub sometimes I can have extra hair shedding. I did not have that issue when I used the scalp scrub with the pre-shower scalp oil. It’s a fantastic combo. The scrub also wasn’t overly rough, some scrubs can feel like they’re tearing at your skin. But I didn’t have that issue with this one. It was more finely milled, and had a creamier formula. Whenever my scalp starts getting itchy, I will go in with a scalp scrub (usually once per week to get rid of dead skin and help get rid of product build up or oil build up). This one did a great job at alleviating that itchy sensation I sometimes get.

I also love the fact that it didn’t dry my hair out as much as some other formulas thanks to the hair mask and leave in conditioner. I really loved both the in shower hair mask and out of shower leave in conditioner. The last two smelled like guava which is one of my favorite fruity scents (it reminds me of my family in Puerto Rico). More importantly they also made it so that it was super easy to comb my hair out once I got out of the shower! I was really impressed at how well all four products worked together for me and my hair. It was a pleasant experience overall, and I highly recommend it.

I’m someone who takes pride in my hair looking healthy, and surprisingly this was my first time trying Olaplex. I know, I’m behind the times! But I can see why this brand is so popular. I was impressed that a little bit of this formula goes a long way. Even with my long and thick hair, I needed only a partial pump for each half of my hair when applying it to dry hair. I was really impressed by the shine this gave my hair, and how healthy it looked, even after blow drying since this doubles as a heat protectant

I love the fact that the scent was incredibly minimal as well, because scents can make or break a product for me. I feel like my pictures speak for themselves with how healthy my hair looked while using this formula. For reference, my hair is virgin, so never dyed, which may be a reason for it taking so well to this product. The one and only reason I took one star off from this product is the fact that it made me get an acne outbreak on the back of my neck. I only ever break out there when trying certain haircare products. But overall I was so happy with how healthy it made my hair look, I’m willing to put up with it. I gave it four out of five stars.

FOLLOW UP!!!

I washed and shampooed her hair but the frizz persists!! Too be fair I only put shampoo and conditioner in the specific spot, should I go in fully? Is it's crazy to use leave in conditioner on her hair? Or any other anti frizz thing really?

I know she doesn't have like real hair so these things don't exactly work the same but I'm at a loss here, any help would appreciated!!
