For Christmas my sister surprised me with a 'fixer upper' Lea she and my mom found at a flea market, and while cleaning her up I thought she would make a lovely historical outfit model. One thing led to another before I found myself having dug through my fabric stash and determined to make her an 1899 girl! I also have a recently rehabbed TM 13 that I think would make a lovely Katherine Plumber (I made one of her dresses a while back but I would like to redo that project).

Her blouse is a sort of satin shirting, skirt and waistband are quilt cotton, and her shawl is a cut of a nice and soft knit material. Here she is photographed with my old prop newspaper (from the tour of the stage version of the musical) for backdrop.

Since last year, we've seen horrible comments directed at Ona and Laura. It all started when the relationship between Lucy and Keira ended after several rumors, and now that they have started new relationships, people can't stop talking.

People can't stand seeing Leah close to another human being who identifies as a woman without immediately starting to "pair them up." An adult woman nearly 30 years old has every right to want to be in a relationship. And if she decides to keep it private, guess what? SHE ALSO HAS THAT RIGHT!

And let's not even talk about some people's outrage simply because Caitlin Clark has a boyfriend. Are you really that disconnected from reality? I understand that you may not like Connor or that you're not fond of Caitlin's social circle (like Jada), but that doesn't give you the right to say that Caitlin looks too “fruity” to have a boyfriend.
