Sharing a super easy tomato soup recipe! It is soup season after all.
All you need is:
1 jar of tomato sauce, preferably something a little more complex than plain sauce. I go for Prego’s roasted garlic and herb, usually
3/4 cup of broth of your choosing. I do love vegetable broth with it, and
1/2 cup of heavy cream (yes, I am lactose intolerant, but Country Crock has a delicious and almost dairy-tasting cream substitute)
Instructions
Mix in a pot till combined.
Mix every once in a while till bubbling.
Serve and enjoy!
Now, if all you have is plain marinara, do not despair!
Here are the spices I add:
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
2 tsp Italian seasoning
1/2 tsp of salt
1/2 tsp of pepper
A hint of basil
For me these look a bit intimidating just sitting on top of the soup to be when you measure them out and pour them in, but trust me, they mix in very nicely.
This will make 2 servings. Doubling the recipe to serve others will work fine too!

Figured out how to make a lactose-free Starbucks chocolate cream cold brew taste-alike on only my 2nd try!
** Yes, I know Starbucks has a nondairy option, but the nondairy creamer makes me viciously sick to my stomach.
Doesn't look the same, but tastes the same
Cold brew concentrate (3/4 cup)
Splash of water (1/4 cup or less)
Splash of Torani vanilla flavoring syrup (didn't measure, just a quick splash, maybe 1.5 tablespoons)
ice
1/2 cup or so of lactaid chocolate milk (I just based it on how much space was left in the glass)
** For the record, I used a 16oz drinking glass.
