Something Held - Screen Adaptation

Did y'all know I was once a ~~screenwriter (lmao no, but really!)??

This is an adaptation draft I wrote wayy back in 2021 of a chapter in Feeding Habits called "Something Held" (which I wrote an update on way back when, ft. Harrison... eating hair???). Funnily, this version of the chapter was completely scrapped, so the above scene no longer exists.

I just unearthed this after cleaning up my files, and had to share! It feels like perfect timing, considering I want to adapt more of my scenes to screen. Enjoy my dysfunctional babies attempting to repair their bizarre relationship after their unexpected reunion takes a nosedive (does Harrison go attempted murderer mode, perhaps!!!!).

Feeding Habits logline for those who weren't around then: Lonan, stuck in a toxic relationship and Harrison, disappointed by his New York City restart, find themselves on separate trajectories toward inevitable isolation until Lonan finds purpose in helping out an old friend, and Harrison realizes his dull reboot could be revitalized if he seeks out what—or who—is missing.
