The easiest way to make Magnus blush is for Alec to be his most confident self. Shit eating grins, suits and consul robes, and sly looks over glasses of wine all included in this package

Izzy and Clary teach Alec all the booktok fictional boy trends and he obviously uses them all on Magnus. One time Alec did the “pinning both your hands above your head” move and Magnus was speechless the entire day.

Sometimes it’s just inadvertent things. Alec picking something up in his slightly tight t-shirt which flexes his arm muscles and Magnus bumps into a wall. Alec stepping out of a fresh shower only to find Magnus with his face buried in the pillow. Alec lying on the couch and stretching, and his hoodie riding up the slightest bit, and then he gets all confused when Magnus chokes on his wine.

Kisses!!! Little cheek or forehead kisses from Alec at random times that just catch Magnus off guard. He stops whatever he’s doing and cups his warm AF face and groans for like half an hour.

The very first time they spent the night together and Alec cuddles into Magnus while asleep.
