got a 70% on my criminal law final, which landed me 16/95 in class (had a mini breakdown when i saw it but i will try harder next semester 💔)

tuesday 1.7.2024. finished reading for class tomorrow and started reading for thursday's classes. i'm very stressed about driving downtown tomorrow during rush hour because there's still a lot of snow and ice everywhere, but i'll survive. i only have class from 9-12 for the next 2 days as well, so i'm excited to have whole afternoons to get stuff done. my whiteboard is breaking though so i might have to shop for a new one :( she's been studying with me since middle school honors english class :((

total study time- 5 hours 30 minutes

30 minutes adding assignments to my calendar

1 hour 30 minutes reading criminal procedure

2 hours 30 minutes reading legislation

1 hour shopping for casebooks

studied at a cafe for the first time and,,, i actually kinda loved it? it was great to push myself to study in an environment that has noise. i always find it super hard to focus, so it was nice to see that it wasn’t impossible

Morning study ft. Criminal law 📚

today was great! i’ve recently started practicing yoga in the mornings, and i’m loving it so much. other than yoga, i make sure to do physical activity during the day, and today it was walking.

after that, i spent the afternoon planning my upcoming academic year and the rest of my plan & goals for the remainder of this summer.

🌟 i’m using an excel sheet to track my performance in each course i’m studying. basically, it helps me determine which topics i’m confident with and which topics i’m struggling with, so i know what topics to study and work on everyday (start with the weakest topic).

— studying family law and i don’t know how it’s gonna go just gonna wing it and pray for the best. it’s not like i haven’t studied it’s more to do with the material and how much i can remember for the life of me
