So um I may have 'made' something. u/Eternalspace1969 made images of many egyptian deities and posted them on Reddit for free use. Considering there were none of Apedemak and Aman I decided to try my hand at editing some of his images to make their representations. So here they are!

This is the Buddy for 4/20. Smoking weed baby! Puff it up, get high, wake and bake, smoke weed every day! Don't Bogart it!

So, in honor of world getting cannabis day, this Buddy has traded in his harmless tobacco for greener pastures.

I never smoked weed in school. I guess that probably comes down to cultural reasons, but a lot of people thought I smoked it - and a lot. Maybe it was because of the big hair, or because of the hippie Jesus sandals. Or it could be my bloodshot eyes, my mistrust of authority or the permanent case of the munchies. I'd sometimes wear a green t-shirt when I wasn't in my school uniform, so some friends thought I looked like Shaggy, too.

I'm not going to say I've never smoked, but, I'll be honest, I don't think I need a drug that makes people paranoid and hungry. I'm good on those, thanks.

Piye the Conqueror in Colored Pencil

This is a colored-pencil drawing of the Kushite warrior king Piye (r. 744-714 BC), who invaded a then divided Egypt and brought most of it under Kushite control (it was his successors Shebitku and Shabaka who would consolidate their dynasty's reign over the whole country). A devout follower of the god Amun, Piye seems to have viewed his invasion as a holy crusade, requiring that his soldiers wash themselves as part of a cleansing ritual before entering battle. He was also so fond of horses that he expressed disgust at one Egyptian ruler's leaving his to starve in their stable in his victory stela, and then would be buried with a whole herd of the animals in his tomb at El-Kurru.
