Hello everyone, please read the post I am reblogging, it is for @wasimhourani42 who has reached out to me asking for help.

The situation in Gaza is extremely dire, people only have tents at most to protect them from the harsh elements. Cost of living is so high a bag of flour can be up to 300$. The children have no stable or healthy environment to grow up in. They struggle daily to provide basic needs like food, water, shelter and health care.

They are freezing, hungry, sick and in extreme pain, and don't have the funds to help. They need our donations.

Do not assume for a second that your donation is worthless, whatever you may think is disposable they need to survive, if you are able to donate please give what you can spare. Any contributions make a difference. Every 1$ counts. Thank you for having humanity.

Hello, I'm Wasim from Gaza, in Al-Mawasi specifically... My family and I were displaced from Rafah after hardship, bombing, displacement, and hunger.😭😔

Now we have been away from our city and our beautiful home for 9 months. We have lost our house that my father built stone by stone and he worked 24/7 to build this house. But the occupation destroyed it, and no house remained in my beautiful city remained intact.😭💔💔

We are now living in a tent or semi-tent, which does not protect us from the cold of winter or the rain. Our lives are very difficult.😔😭

Thanks to your donations, we have been able to buy food and flour, and now I am asking you for help to buy a tent that will protect us from the cold of winter. We do not know what it means to sleep because of the extreme cold.🥶

This is our tent made of fabric and some nylon, not closed on one side. We are freezing from the cold. Help us to buy a new tent. You are our last hope.😭🥶🥶🙏

I also want to ask for help for my mother, who is the most precious thing in my life. Without her, I am nothing...

She has a back cartilage disease and is in great pain. She needs physical therapy, medicine, and vitamins, and I am unable to provide them. Help my mother receive treatment.🙏🙏😭

Majdi, a cat lover, dreams of becoming a kind person and helping children. Majdi, who dreams of opening an animal shelter to care for animals in Gaza. Even in the midst of war, these children cling to their dreams, believing that one day, despite the difficulties, they will achieve their goals. Their dreams are not only about personal success, but also about shedding light on a world filled with darkness. These dreams symbolize the resilience of Gaza’s children, showing that hope and determination can survive even the most difficult circumstances.

In the heart of the ongoing war, Shaima lives with her four children, constantly struggling with pain and waiting. Her husband, who was once the source of security and happiness, left a long time ago, facing the challenges of war far from them. Every day, Shaima makes earnest efforts to keep life going despite the hardships. She strives to provide food and shelter while trying to instill hope in the hearts of her children, who are still waiting for their father’s return, a father they know little about other than his absence. Her four children, despite their young age, carry great hopes in their hearts. The eldest, who everyone sees as the "little father," dreams of their father returning to embrace them as he did in the past. The youngest, on the other hand, wakes up at night searching for his father's voice, wishing for his return to feel safe again. this drawing of Ragsat Al ‘Aroos, or the Sudanese bridal dance, was made in collaboration with awladalneel for their fundraiser for their work and the sudan solidarity collective. prints are available with proceeds to the same.

The ritual dates back to the Kingdom of Kush, where the dance was performed by couples during wedding ceremonies as an ode to the fertility god and to highlight the brides’ beauty. Until recently it was performed topless with a stringed skirt (rahat) pulled undone during the dance. Today, some choose to continue the tradition, reshaping the ritual to meet religious, familial, or personal preferences. Brides prepare intensively with a teacher (ragasa) and perform after the ceremony (jirtig). The bride begins in a thoob and groom in a jalabiya, and during the dance her belt is cut and thrown to the audience. The specifics of the dance, as well as the wedding week, vary widely across tribes, communities, and regions (it is most common in the north). The dance, and the African history it embodies, has survived and adapted to Arab, Egyptian, Ottoman, and British rule, and today through the struggle for freedom & peace in contemporary Sudan.

Sharing some of my birds again since they have been some of my more popular fundraiser designs, particularly on stickers. The dove, sunbird and bulbul are also some of the works I'm most proud of artistically, being hand drawn and edited in sketchbook and not making use of any open source assets or fancy tools or anything. I'm not much of an artist but I poured a lot of extra energy into trying to improve this year because it seemed like a good way to earn some money for my friend and a good place to put my extra energy when I was too worried about him to focus on my research.

As usual EVERYTHING I RAISE is for my best friend to support his friends and family in Palestine and around the rest of the Levant who are being hurt directly and/or financially by the attacks on Gaza, the raids and economic devastation in the West Bank and the collateral damage in surrounding countries.

Pumpkin Stencil Game: Round 2!

Last week I started a fundraising game where I would create whichever pumpkin carving stencil won the poll, in exchange for you guys helping to raise a certain amount of money for this verified GFM by the end of that week.

Not only did you guys do that, early, but you also surpassed the goal set for that week!

So, we're going to do it again!

But first, here's the stencils you won last week. Bill Cipher won first place in the poll. And, as a reward for beating TikTok, I made a second stencil with the second-place winner of the poll, Deadpool.

Alright, on to this week's game/goal:

Here is a Verified GFM organized by Tasnim Alhamss (on line #663 of Operation Olive Branch's spreadsheet), with a goal of $35,000.

If we can increase the amount currently raised from $33,146 to $33,300 by Saturday, Sep. 14th, I will make another pumpkin carving stencil of whichever fandom character wins the poll below, posting it for free download on my Ko-Fi.

That's roughly $150 dollars in a week- slightly higher than last week's goal, but this is still super doable! You guys were able to surpass last week's goal, I have no doubt we can meet this week's!

Oh- You guys will also be playing against TikTok again! Same rules as last time. Whichever opponent meets their goal first (and/or raises the most by Sep 14th) wins an addition stencil!

of eight children. My youngest is a 7-month-old baby who has a sebaceous cyst next to his ear. The cyst is growing over time and requires urgent surgery.

We lived through war for a year and five months. Our home was destroyed by the Israeli army, leaving us without shelter or any source of income. We are constantly displaced, struggling to find a safe place for our children. Life is incredibly difficult, and my baby desperately needs medical treatment that we cannot afford.
