This poem, If We Must Die by Claude McKay was written during the Red Summer, 1919. It has since been adopted to support many groups facing persecution, such as the Palestinians. I paired it with a field of poppies and a faint keffiyeh pattern. I made this one last December and haven't shared it in a while so I thought I'd do so again now. You can find it here.

As always EVERYTHING I EARN from my shop is for my best friend, a Palestinian grad student living in America. The money is sent home to support his friends and family in Palestine and around the rest of the Levant who are being hurt directly and/or financially by the attacks on Gaza, the raids and economic devastation in the West Bank and the collateral damage in surrounding countries.

I try to incorporate a wide variety of styles so there's something for everyone, making use of various open source assets such as vintage prints and NASA photography. I have stickers, clothes, mugs, notebooks, magnets and all sorts of other things available with the designs below and many more.

RAFFLE FOR PALESTINE

Hey everyone!

Apologies for the bad photo (phone is not good and I have a tremor). I am running a raffle for Palestine that will be drawing on Dec 1st. I can ship anywhere in the so called us or canada. All go have to do to enter is donate to one of the three fundraisers linked to this post and send me proof. Two are very underfunded, one is close to completion and is someone i know/dm directly! That one accepts paypal as well.

I made some Star Wars adoptables! Each design is $40 USD, with 100% of the proceeds going to families in Gaza.

If you are interested in one of these designs, contact me through instant messaging or over email at skullinacowboyhat@gmail.com (please include your tumblr or instagram url), first come first serve. • Second, donation time! To receive the design, you must choose a family from the masterlist organised by Operation Olive Branch (link here) and donate $40 USD (or more if you are able) to their gofundme, then send me a screenshot of the email receipt. • Third! Once i see the receipt, I will send you the full png without the signature and with the color swatch.

Some terms: • Once adopted, you may edit the character as much as you like. Pumpkin Stencil Game: Round 2!

Last week I started a fundraising game where I would create whichever pumpkin carving stencil won the poll, in exchange for you guys helping to raise a certain amount of money for this verified GFM by the end of that week.

Not only did you guys do that, early, but you also surpassed the goal set for that week!

So, we're going to do it again!

But first, here's the stencils you won last week. Bill Cipher won first place in the poll. And, as a reward for beating TikTok, I made a second stencil with the second-place winner of the poll, Deadpool.

As promised, both of these stencils are available for free download on my Ko-Fi.

Alright, on to this week's game/goal:

Here is a Verified GFM organized by Tasnim Alhamss (on line #663 of Operation Olive Branch's spreadsheet), with a goal of $35,000.

If we can increase the amount currently raised from $33,146 to $33,300 by Saturday, Sep. 14th, I will make another pumpkin carving stencil of whichever fandom character wins the poll below, posting it for free download on my Ko-Fi.

That's roughly $150 dollars in a week- slightly higher than last week's goal, but this is still super doable! You guys were able to surpass last week's goal, I have no doubt we can meet this week's!

Oh- You guys will also be playing against TikTok again! Same rules as last time. Whichever opponent meets their goal first (and/or raises the most by Sep 14th) wins an addition stencil!

I'll be updating with these progress bars frequently so you guys can see how far you've come!

Sharing some of my birds again since they have been some of my more popular fundraiser designs, particularly on stickers. The dove, sunbird and bulbul are also some of the works I'm most proud of artistically, being hand drawn and edited in sketchbook and not making use of any open source assets or fancy tools or anything. I'm not much of an artist but I poured a lot of extra energy into trying to improve this year because it seemed like a good way to earn some money for my friend and a good place to put my extra energy when I was too worried about him to focus on my research.

E-Sims provide people in Gaza with vital access to communications between families and loved ones, the rest of the world, and emergency services. Imagine if you were living life threatening situations day to day and had no way to contact your loved ones, get up to date information or call for help.
