It's days like this that I hate being autistic. I have been trying to get a job for 4 years, I've nearly been scammed six times, and can't do anything that's even remotely similar to retail or sales because it will make me have meltdowns.

I live in the most expensive county in the us, and my mom's stupidly thinks 50k a year will be way more than enough for me to get by on my own and have my own place 😐

Most I've ever made in a year in my life was maybe 21k. I have no job experience despite constantly trying, and I am borderline wanting to own a life myself because I have no way to support myself when my parents pass, which could be at any time because they are both much older and they both have chronic illnesses.

No one in my family would be able to take me in if something happened to them.

And because I'm autistic, adhd, and introverted, I have no network and I have no friends. The two friends that I do have are an ex-boyfriend that I merely share tik toks with, and an older woman in her 50s who is borderline wanting to divorce her husband but also has no job or connections.

I have no one who can help me.

Besides, why would they want to?

I'm horrible at keeping in touch with anybody, I'm an unreliable communicator at best, and the only thing I want to do is put files away or organize books for the rest of my life, and I can't even find a job that will let me do that.

I've been crying now for over an hour and can't stop.
