It's a personal headcannon of mine that dragons are inherently.very similar in temperament to dogs.

Sunfyre is very much a puppy. Big happy tappies on the floor of the keep when they see aegon; basically wagging a big tail for treats.

Vaegar is obviously the stubborn old girl who hears you calling but is going to take her sweet time moving from her spot under the radiator because she knows dinner will wait for her. Also has hip problems.

I wanted to draw Sunfyre because I am unreasonably attached to this puppy of a dragon

Idk why, but the idea of Cregan knowing his partner is mad at him because they address him as "My Lord" instead of his name or a term of endearment, is so funny to me
