It's a personal headcannon of mine that dragons are inherently.very similar in temperament to dogs.

Sunfyre is very much a puppy. Big happy tappies on the floor of the keep when they see aegon; basically wagging a big tail for treats.

Vaegar is obviously the stubborn old girl who hears you calling but is going to take her sweet time moving from her spot under the radiator because she knows dinner will wait for her. Also has hip problems.

I wanted to draw Sunfyre because I am unreasonably attached to this puppy of a dragon

Idk why, but the idea of Cregan knowing his partner is mad at him because they address him as "My Lord" instead of his name or a term of endearment, is so funny to me

Kissing their scars Aemond Targaryen

Hey my lovelies, back with another headcanon! My requests are open for everything except fics. You can find my request guidelines pinned to the top of the page! Credit to cafekitsune for the banner and the divider!

❀Aemond has various scars all over his body. Some from training and practicing, some from the odd bump and scrap. However, the one on his face is the worst of all.

❀Aemond enjoys having you kiss his scars. It's comforting to feel your lips cascade over his body. It's a private and intimate moment between the two. He'd never experienced such affection from another individual before.

❀Aemond is proud to show you his scars over his body. They act as a reminder of everything he's accomplished. How hard he's worked to get where he is. To become the weapon he is.

❀Aemond is however reluctant when it comes to his eye. It serves as a reminder of how Lucerys was never punished for his actions. As well as a reminder of a time when Aemond felt the most weak.

❀Aemond doesn't like you going near his eye in the beginning, he's terrified of you being repulsed by him. He doesn't want to scare you off or make you uncomfortable. He's worried you'll think he's weak.

❀It takes trust for Aemond to eventually allow you to kiss his scar. When he does, he's not ready for the impact that it holds over him.

❀Aemond feels what it's like to be loved for the first time. To have someone love him without any conditions. You're not scared or disgusted by it. It's just another part of him that you get to love and be protective over.

❀It's a new kind of intmacy Aemond isn't used to. You've kissed his other scars before and he enjoys the touch but this is monumental. This means something. The first time you kiss his eye, Aemond releases a single tear. He's overcome with emotion. He doesn't know how to react, but he holds onto you tightly. Enjoying the touch between you, no words are exchanged.
