I haven't asked too much about hayato, so here's one:

What does he think about her? I know they're co-workers with more of an "unlikely friendship (or more?)" vibes but I mean like.. how does he perceive her in his day-to-day life? He teases her, is it to get her attention? To be annoying? For interest?

YEESS I love getting asks abt him and him and Eiko is even better (also if you recognize the reference I love you)

I realized I haven't properly shown what their relationship is actually like in current time, so I'll explain it here; the status quo after Eiko stops trying to kill him and they start getting along is that they become very close.

I think that would inevitably happen because the position the plot puts them in is one in which they'd end up feeling like they can trust and rely on each other in a way they really can't with anyone else. Hayato has no one else who knows his secret(s) and treats him the way she does. Either people don't know, and he feels like he can't open up to any of them or even form a significant bond with them, or those who do (a.k.a. the cult) treat him like shit and like some sort of laboratory experiment and not a person. He considers himself an abomination because to him that's just what he is in objective terms. Eiko is the only person who knows about what he's gone through and considers and treats him like a person and an equal, and also sees good in him.

I usually draw him teasing her or being a cocky asshole in general but a lot of time he's also very sweet to her, he ends up becoming a bit (very) attached. Like when I said she was his comfort human I said it jokingly but it is kinda true. Also I'd say him teasing her is almost a sign of how fond he is of her, he does not do that to ppl he doesn't gaf about, he'll just be sort of polite and disinterested LMAO

He teased her at first when they were on bad terms because he just found it amusing to push her buttons to the point of seeing her facade of aloofness and sort of "I'm above you and above caring about what you say" attitude crumble. She's usually so uptight and stern that it made him want to make her snap and show that she's really not as perfect as she tries to be (reminder that they were on bad terms, if it sounds like he was a little mean that's because he was 💀 they were both "a little mean" to each other at the start of the story tbf). After they start warming up to each other, he does it in a more lighthearted way just because it's second nature at this point and he still thinks her reactions are funny and endearing. And also yeah partly because he also wants her attention 😭 he's a little pathetic sometimes but that's fine, so is she

He also comes to see what her personality is truly like beyond both her initial aloofness and her temper, especially after she starts warming up to him herself (which took way longer; they both get attached easily but Eiko with her wounded pride was more resistant). She starts relaxing a bit and being kinder to him. They're eventually able to open up to each other about their personal insecurities and struggles. Eiko especially had some unresolved resentment towards him from when they were kids, which she eventually gets over, and like I said she makes him feel like he's a person worth caring about when they're together.

In short, he thinks pretty highly of her lmao, he thinks she's lovely, he is oh-so-fond of Eiko and of her creepy ass eyes and her emotional constipation and her little frown when she gets pissed at him because he said something stupid

I noticed Hayato's pupils are kind of like a snake's or cats.... is this related to the cult trying to make the perfect human?

They're meant to look feline yes!! (technically fox-like but foxes and cats have very similar eyes and features I'd say even if foxes aren't felines shush) They weren't caused by the perfect human experiments though, both Sanako and their mom have them, and so do a lot of ppl in his mom's side. In-universe, Hayato was already born with them.

I changed them to have slit pupils as part of a small redesign I gave him because honestly bro had a pretty basic design before, he still does, but I felt like he was missing something 😭 I've always associated him a LOT with foxes so the idea came to redesign him to give him more feline features. It's not really very noticeable but I changed his eye shape slightly, then his pupils, I draw him with the :3 mouth a lot and he also has noticeable fangs now. Like I said pretty minor redesign but I felt like it gave him the flair he was missing and it also made him a lot more fun to draw.

The only thing that is directly related to his powers (and therefore the perfect human cult bs) is that his eyes glow and often change to a gold colour. This happens when he uses his powers but they also glow faintly in the dark (like kitty). This doesn't happen to anyone else in his family.

I present to y'all the Happy Bonbon AU, as the name implies, it's the alternative universe where she is happy instead of sad.

It really isn't that deep, it's just the reversing her personality, this could also mean mini Bon is the depressed kid/teenager instead of happy, so that's funny. Anyhow, I even gave her the red glasses of mini bon, just feels like she would unironically would use it. This drawing is also my gift(?) or to be more exact the celebration of 300 followers here<33 The poll I made option, for my surprise, the art raffle didn't win, instead the "A simple drawing of one of my OCs celebrating" won. Welp Bonbon isn't exactly celebrating here but you having a happy version of her is already a big treat innit, when was the last time you seen me draw her with a big ass smile? Exactly, probably ages ago, and I know everyone wants to see her smile so there you go :p now you have a version that she smiles (granted, it isnt cannon, just an official AU now). And you might say "this isn't a simple drawing either" and yeah- you got me there the drawing was going to be a sketch but I escalated in my enthusiasm and ended up trying to finish it today... It's 5 am, so I assume most people are asleep, including the Americans who dont have bad sleep schedules. This is also why I'm yapping so much, my brain is fried, it's late, it's hot. But I got this drawing of Bonbon, hope you y'all like the watercolor and that it feels like a nice 'treat' for the 300 milestone. Yes, my stories involve fighting, but I rarely draw blood or injuries.

Now, a little about my projects!! >:D

My main project is Sunlight Force, a comic about a futuristic society and stars⭐️

Synopsis: The Sunlight Force is a planetary-level organization that, with the help of the power of the constellations, can protect Earth from the threat of the Kebulas and Midnights!!!

||Sunlights:|| These are the humans who fight to protect Earth, which is already almost entirely ruled by Kebulas.

||Kebulas:|| They used to be human, but with Taiyou's curse, their appearance changed, gaining more strength, resistance, and even various powers.

||Midnights:|| These are the Kebulas who have become much more powerful, with extraordinary powers. There is usually a hierarchy of 9-10 Midnights who command different regions of the world or simply work alongside other Midnights.

||Constellations:|| Here, the constellations are personified, and each one has a very important relationship with the Sunlights. Each Sunlight chooses the constellation to which they feel the most connected.

Our protagonist is Irina, a Sunlight. She wants to better understand society and how she can change it so that everyone can live in harmony, especially since her boyfriend, Kishin, is a Kebula

And of course, the beloved villain - Takahiro - A mysterious entity, no one in the universe can understand him, but what matters is that he is the absolute leader of the Midnights >:]

Project status: I already have the main plot written, and I'm working on smaller parts of the story to develop each character and scene. It won't be long before I start planning the panels and finally starting the official comic((o(^∇^)o))

MARCO AND POLO

This is more of a slice-of-life story about a demon who just wants to find someone to make him smile, while an angel is on a mission to kill the demon.

This project is still in its early stages, so for now, that's all I have to say xD

But since it's a much simpler story than Sunlight Force, it's a way for me to practice my writing and comic structuring :3
