Another thing about the Titan that I enjoyed was how he's so fundamentally different from Belos's christian idea of god. She's bigender. She's super chill and takes the appearance of a 40 something dad when talking to mortals. That loud, disruptive woman who is bi, commits treason, and refuses to fall in line? Yeah He's been watching her and is a huge fan. She loves bread puns and uses his powers to make magic more accesible for everyone. He trusts a 14 year old girl with the power of god to save the world and defeat the white, straight man who came to colonize his world.

He’s been there the whole time, in spite of death. And he’s been listening, paying attention, enough to care. After so much apprehension over his father, his family and heritage, trying to find any of these, being forced to sacrifice one... King gets the reassurance that his dad did care, as well as the reminder that the weirdoes stuck together.

And his family! They’re so happy for King, because they were a part of his journey too, they cared! And they get the joke, they were the ones who came up with it!

The Elders

I don't know who's drawing motivation I stole last night, but I drew all the elders and even a king resh based off of the concept art.

I’m not gonna lie, I was beyond bummed that Luz couldn’t use glyphs after the final fight. It made sense in universe, but it made me sad.

And then seeing Luz get to have another chance at them in the time skip cause King’s power getting stronger? Sure, the patterns will be different now, but she’s always been doing things different and things continue to come full circle.

King’s dad liked Luz enough to show her the glyphs and now she can work with King to find the new glyph patterns.
