EPISODE ELEVEN WAS pretty much EVERYTHING I'VE WANTED FOR A VERY LONG TIME!!!

Highlights:

Dazai's funky little giggles. This man is so SKRUNKLY even while he has a broken ass and a broken leg and who knows how many other injuries. I love him <33 (I bet his funky little cast thing was made by Chuuya. Now I need Dazai with a cane.)

CHUUYA WAS NEVER A VAMPIRE? This just went from tragic to HYSTERICAL. You're telling me this little guy who isn't as good at lying as other characters managed to lie to FYODOR OF ALL PEOPLE and put on the best acting job of the CENTURY, all the while wearing cosplayer contacts and fake vampire teeth, superglued by Mori??

Nikolai's conflicted and gay little monologue whilenhllding Fyodor's severed hand. Need I say more.

GASP, ANOTHER DRAWING? I don't know either I just wanted to sketch the design ideas I had for atsushi and akutagawa, and some alt makeup looks yknow

Anyways I've been doing some thinking about this au and heres some headcanons

AKUTAGAWA

-as stated in the drawing he's under the port mafia label

-I imagine one of his first albums is named "Black-Fanged Hellhound" or smt like his nickname

-lyrics are quite poetic, I think he got into writing songs before he grew to love preforming and playing an instrument

-became a musician to lift his sister and him out of poverty

-I imagine his music sounds a little like "Au revoir" from Malice Mizer, classic instruments n shit yknow?

-his guitar also sorta looks like a violin but like

OKAY I DONT KNOW SHIT ABOUT MUSIC OR INSTRUMENTS SO LIKE- I DUNNO MAN

-Dazai made him fall in love with preforming and so he's been having a real hard time creating after dazai broke his contract, though maybe someone else can help him regain his passion for music..

ATSUSHI

-in a band with Kyouka, Kenji, and Junichiro, and yes he (together with Jun) are the big brother figures taking care of their very weird little siblings

-also he's a lot closer with Junichiro, they're besties ur honour

-was discovered by dazai in a shady bar. Atsushi had been creating music to escape his life in the orphanage, using his schools instruments. When he turned 18 he recorded a few of the songs he'd written, hoping to find an agency that'd want to hear them. He certainly didn't except underground superstar Dazai to steal his cds and DEMAND he join thr ADA label

-still very new to working with  electric guitar, since he's used to thr acoustic one at his school, but very excited to be trying something new

-his sound is more pop punk inspired and his outfit definitely takes some inspo from scene n stuff

Sigma: bro is the official Y/N I feel bad for him, the absolute shit he went through, also he has the best and most realistic facial expressions in all of bsd

Bram: I like him, I seriously hope him and that small red head gets a brother/sister relationship.

Agatha: her name is like one step away from being majestic

Fukichi: bro is the reason why Kenji and Atsushi got hurt alot, not to mention he's planning world wide terrorism, and it was all because he got rejected by his childhood crush(this is totally what happened)

Jouno: pretty good, I love that he put others above his own self pleasures, also kinda terrifying in some manga panels and In others hes so cute

Not sure I'm understanding what this means but since I haven't been asked Chuuya yet:

Favorite thing about them: ... His big heart. Sorry for being lame but like. His kindness is his most attractive trait to me. And I wouldn't even say that is his dominant trait, he's just infinitely more selfless than the others from the s/kk ss/kk quartet. Other than that, I think he's a very fleshed out and charismatic character who's just very likeable!

Least favorite thing about them: His maroon jacket from the last arc LMAO. Like the style itself isn't too bad and fits Chuuya well enough, but the color as it was shown in the anime? Hideous, and goes terrible with his hair. -100/10 Kouyou didn't rise you to be a fashion disaster. No wait actually there is something. His whole deal with wanting Q to die in chapter 31. Maybe it fits his character (something about thinking of himself as a weapon and thinking people like him should die?), but I don't really care, it *is* something I don't like about him. Self-hatred doesn't justify being a jerk to others for me.

Favorite line:

brOTP: CHUUAKU. They're so cute everywhere always in every flavour. CHUUYA AND KOUYOU. Chuuya and Kenji!! Soukoku. I feel like, maybe not in this world, but oerhaps in another Chuuya and Yosano would be besties. Chuuya and Adam and Chuuya and the Flags purely out of second hand knowledge that was passed on to me by the people I follow and of wanting good things to happen to Chuuya.

BSD Headcanons now that I've finished S3

Atsushi is definitely wayyyy sassier than I thought?? Most of the fandom content I've interacted with paints him as an uwu baby, after seeing Echo I am a firm believer in the parallel that they purposefully annoy each other as much as Dazai and Chuuya do

Speaking of Dazai and Chuuya, Dazai definitely ships them and tries to convince Chuuya to too, but Chuuya refuses and calls Dazai a freak for trying so hard to set them up

Atsushi and Akutagawa have been dating for a while when they realize Dazai is trying to set them up and then it becomes a game for how long they can convince Dazai they're not together

Dazai and Chuuya were dating before Dazai left the Mafia and got married sometime during the stint between Dazai leaving the Port Mafia and Dazai joining the ADA

If they were ever living together, Atsushi would definitely hide Akutagawa's coat around the house in various places and then feign ignorance

Every fic I've seen in which Atsushi slowly convinced Akutagawa to start taking care of himself is completely correct, except he does it in the most annoying little shit way possible

Instead of trying to bribe Akutagawa into taking care of himself it's more like "Damn, I thought it was easy to eat three meals and shower every day, but if you can't even do that then... I mean I think it's clear who's superior"

🔮 Tickle scenario

The Agency was completely quiet for once. Dazai and Kunikida were on a mission together, just like Kenji and Tanizaki, Naomi was out shopping with Kyouka, Yosano was buying more bandages and a new chainsaw, the President was having a negotiation with Mori, Atsushi was out "fighting" Akutagawa and Ranpo was on a crime scene.

Which means that when you arrived at this building, you found no one to welcome you. You sighed, although you didn't get mad, you knew that your friends were out doing their job... so you decided to use that time to explore around the building.

You went around and checked everyone's desks, making your heart skip a beat when you almost knocked over a pen holder on Kunikida's perfectly tidy and organized desk, and in the end you found it. The treasure. Your eyes literally lighted up at the sight: you had found Ranpo's stack of sweets.

You genuinely wondered how Ranpo was able to eat all that sugar without getting sick, but a rumble in your stomach made you snap back to reality. You were hungry, but you couldn't eat those sweets... you knew how jealous the detective was of his food, so you decided not to touch anything.

...

After an hour, the pile of candy was complete gone, and you gulped when you heard the door open and the sound of approaching steps. It wasn't your lucky day. Before you could even think about hiding the evidence of your hideous crimes, Ranpo appeared before you.

"AAAAAHH I'm so disappointed! The case was so easy that I spotted the culprit from afar! I didn't even get to use my ability! Seriously, isn't there an intelligence test to become a policeman?" The detective was clearly grumpy, so he did the thing that usually cheered him up, which was eating sweets to his heart's content.

However, his frown deepened when he found his stack completely gone and the wraps all scattered around the floor. "Rando..." The detective looked at you with a piercing gaze, even putting on his glasses, "do you know where my candy went? "I... you... no... I mean... I didn't... well... I WAS HUNGRY!!!" You couldn't lie at all, especially to the greatest detective of all times.

"Now I'm hungry! What am I supposed to eat, huh?" If you hadn't been so nervous, you would've probably noticed the playfully ominous glint in your best friend's eyes. "Erm... I... I think Kunikida left s-some raw veggies in the fridge..?"

"EEEEEEEHHH VEGGIES??? BLEH! HOW DARE YOU?! YOU'RE GONNA GET IT!!" The green-eyed guy jumped on you, but you managed to put your hands on his shoulders and push him off... Or so you thought.

When you raised your arms, two fingers immediately wormed under your arms, thoroughly digging in the very center of your underarms. "KYAAAHAHEHEHEHE RAHAHAHANPO WAIHIHIHIT NOOOO!!!" You were immediately reduced to a laughing mess, but Ranpo showed no mercy.

On the contrary, he moved his hands and made you think he had decided to spare you and let it slide for once, but right after you breathed a sigh of relief, twenty wiggling fingers descended on your poor tummy.

"WAAAAHHAHAHAHAHA NOHOHOHO RAHAHANPOHOHO NAHAHAT THIHIHIS!!!" You begged, wishing your thin cotton shirt could protect you better from the pokes, pinches, scribbles and spiders that were targeting your midriff.

"Yes, this! You deserve it for eating my secret stack of sweets! Hmph!!" He huffed while he started circling your belly button. "NONONOHOHOHOHO BROHOHO PLEAHAHASE LEHEHET'S TAHAHALK ABOHOHOUT THIHIHIS..!" As soon as you understood where his finger was going, you started pleading and squirming, making the tickly feeling even worse (or better).

"You should've thought about it before eating my snacks... now I'm gonna dig and get them back!" The brunette exclamation as his finger found your bellybutton and started wiggling extra quickly, as if it was digging in your poor belly.

"AAAAAAAAAHAHHAHAEHEHHEHE NAH- NAHAHAHAHAHAHA NOHOHOT THIHIHIS PLEHEHEAHASEEE" It surprised you how mean a cute guy like Ranpo could be, but there you were, squirming like a little worm, trying in vain to escape your tickly fate.

But alas, your yelling, squirming, pleading and begging fell on deaf ears. Only when your laughter went silent and you asked him to stop, Ranpo actually ceased his assault. "Are you okay?" The detective asked while handing you a glass of water "Sorry if I overdid it..."

"Don't worry, I'm fine, and well... it was deserved hehe" You gave him an embarrassed smile and scratched the back of your head, "Now... shall we go buy more candy and annoy Poe?"

wait okay. instead of going to sleep like a normal person. here's how I'd change the ages in bsd (for those that have a canon age), bc no one looks their age/it makes the timeline feel weird, i wanna let at least some major past events breathe a little between one another. possibly controversial takes ahead:

atsushi: i like that he's 18 actually. he looks and feels 16 but no yeah 18 works better. I'd say 20-21 would be nice but that'd reallyyyy throw his backstory's timing off unfortunately

dazai: 25

kunikida: around 27-28

ranpo: 28 also, maybe even 29 (his whole thing is that he looks young for his age anyway)

yosano: 28 as well

tanizaki: like. he does look 18. but also 16 and 21 at the same time. i like him as a bit older than atsushi so let's say 19-20, and naomi as well while we're at it

kenji: why is he 14. it's not that he doesn't look 14 it's that i simply did not expect a child to be the muscle in a detective agency. so please make him like at least 16 which is only just slightly better tbh

kyouka: yeah 14 is chill in her case imo. makes her more tragic 👍

katai: 27-29ish as well

fukuzawa: at least in his 50s. maybe 55ish, or even more. he def looks like it and it fits more with having a son in his 20s

akutagawa: i do want him to be older. but making his age gap with atsushi bigger is weird. so keeping him as a 20 y/o it is, maybe 21 at most

chuuya: 25

kouyou: 30s. early 40s even. she is already so milf coded. finding out she's 26 in canon was straight up offensive i swear. come on.

tachihara: 22 or 23 maybe? (the hunting dogs don't have canon ages but i like jouno and tecchou as 26ish so that way he's still like the baby of the group)

hirotsu: how is that man 50. make him 65 at least. jfc. the whole point is he's been with the mafia a long time. ik they keep recruiting teenagers for some reason but give me a break. my dad is pushing 70 and looks younger than him

q: actually my issue with them isn't that they don't look their age (tho they do look a bit younger ig) but that timeline wise?? they're so weird?? why did the mafia have a 6 y/o on deck that's just inconvenient for all parties involved. like i can excuse kyouka at 11ish but come ON. at least make them 10 in fifteen. or just bring them in later bc i just realized the timeline doesn't line up with the dazai and chuuya changes otherwise. man idk

shibusawa: yeah he can stay 29 too idm. i actually didn't know he had a canon age until now. cool!

i think that's everyone who has a canon age (excluding lns bc i haven't gotten to them yet)? aside from sigma maybe but his age is more of a plot device than a fun fact. and fukuchi is implied to be the same age as fukuzawa so, yeah just make them the same in this case too.

i did mess up the timeline myself with this. so lemme clear it up:

The War and the whole thing with mori and yosano still happened when she was 11, so 17 years before canon. that means mori was still in his 20s back then, no big change

untold origins still happened when ranpo was in his teens, honestly we can keep it 14, so 14 years ago, meaning fukuzawa was in his late 30 or early 40s. again not too big of a change I'd say

fifteen happens when. well. dazai and chuuya are 15. ten years ago. i don't want q there get them out of my sight (for now) let them be a kid for a bit!!!!! but yeah like in canon that means the previous boss's murder was a year before, 11 years ago. also while we're at it, stormbringer is also the same aka a year after 15

now this is where we shake things up just a bit. rather than occuring when dazai is 18, i think we can push the dark era to when he's 20 and still maintain the whole childlike thing he has going on there, it's not that big of a difference imo.

that means, 5 years before canon instead of 4, making akutagawa 15 back then, and ango 27 like odasaku.

also yeah q comes in at some point in the middle between those^ I'd say close to dark era than fifteen.

originally i wanted to make skk 26 but this started stretching things even more. bc now we gotta figure out how long dazai spent in hiding. and ig we can keep it 2 years and just make it so his entrance exam was 3 years before canon. again imo not that big of a stretch 🤔

idk why i said this changes the timeline a lot i think this is p simple. also lets ppl stew in their situation for just a bit longer which i like more.

i want to see gin and yosano interact..... i don't have any more thoughts than that but i think it would be fun <3 also just gin & anyone in the ada. yes i'm predictable no i don't care. give me gin and junichirou chaotic besties, give me gin and atsushi teaming up to tease akutagawa, give me gin and kenji going to the farmer's market together, give me gin and kyouka sparring, give me gin recommending kunikida music and kunikida recommending gin books, give me gin and ranpo making each other Worse !!! and gin and dazai is a whole other dynamic that is incredibly interesting to me for other reasons. namely i want gin to hold a knife to dazai's throat and i want dazai to be scared.

Atsushi started biting people he likes (Akutagawa) cuz he saw Ranpo bite Poe and Ranpo got the behavior from Dazai because Dazai bit Chuuya once in front of Ranpo (it bites Kunikida too)

dazai bites everyone and it spreads like an infection. good for them, good for them

but consider if dazai bites everyone at the ADA because he cares them. consider if dazai does it to 'be annoying' but secretly it's the way he expresses love. ranpo knows, and gives him headpats. rats him out to fukuzawa, too. kenji does it back to him because !! yay physical contact :D kunikida freaks the fuck out the first few times he does it but then accepts his fate. yosano yanks him away by the hair every time and depending on his mood he might either sulk and whine or moan and wink. for the latter, yosano contemplates murder. naomi also bites him back and tanizaki is just awkward about it. when atsushi joins he observes this and soon starts biting everyone too but he's way more open about doing it out of love.

Bsd but like told through their social media story’s(I don’t have Snapchat so I have no idea how it works but otherwise I think that would work best)

Basically it’s like BSD wan where it’s just a collection of Random little moments and bits around.

Like how Fukuzawa would just post it repost cats but in the background is the most chaotic thing possible.

Atsushi posting a picture of a river captioned with “literally about to starve to death but look a river!”

Or Higuchis is literally just her private story of her simping over the Akutagawa siblings.

Dazai posts the most random stuff or just Chuuya and that’s literally it. Omg or he reposts those dumb little Raccoon memes where it’s like the most random and cursed stuff possible but there really relatable.

There would be a section where it’s just Dazai and Kunikida yelling back and forth but online until someone reposts their stuff and is like “they are literally sit right next to each other”

(Actually Twitter might also work for this but once again I don’t have twitter so I’m mainly going off of instagram)

Gin has a second account where she posts the PM drama. No one knows it’s her(other then Akutagawa or mabye Atsushi bc I think it would be hilarious if they were besties) but she hears it all and if your recently divorced your wife everyone would know.(honestly this could be a post by itself)

Kenji would just post random pictures of farm animals and tag his coworkers bc he thinks they would like it but most of the ADA is just confused on why he dose so.

Beast au pros and cons

I swear if the beast au gets animated I am crying. Beast SPOILERS

PROS:

-Atsushi and Akutagawa relationship

-Port mafia boss Dazai looks cool

-Mori is good

-Oda is alive

-Akutagawa works for the ADA and is besties with Kenji

-Oda is Akutagawas mentor

-seeing Chuuya and he is the righthand man (guys he ls so pretty I can't)

CONS:

-Oda doesn't like Dazai

-Dazai commits sucide

-Chuuya goes on a rammpage after Dazais death and gets chained by the government ( i thought he died thou he is also the port mafia boss aftr dazai dies)

-Atsushi is in the portmafia and is a killer

-Akutagawa talking about killing himself

-Atsushi sad past its even sadder than the og

-Dazai took in Gin instead of Akutagawa (they were my fav sibling dou)

-Dazai is more mentally unstable in my opnion

Anyways that was just my thoughts about beast manga personally i have not read it but i have seen so many spoilers.

Do you guys think you'll be mentally prepared for beast au if it gets animated?
