A duo I would love to see in Bsd is Kenji and Ranpo because for as different as they seem, they are quite similar to each other.

Both of them look out for people, even if they’re supposed to be enemy. Because helping others is what matters to them the most.

Ranpo can recognise various cops that he’s assisted over the years. An old lady can talk to Kenji and he’ll know her by name as someone he’s aided.

Ranpo burned the manuscript and gave Mushitaro the opportunity to find a job. Kenji literally befriended Tecchou mid fight.

Both of them understand people on a level that few others do. They view the world in a way few others can understand.

When he was Kenji’s age, Ranpo believed himself to be a person in a world full of monsters. And many view Kenii as a monster in a world full of humans.

When Kunikida was arrested, Ranpo threatened to become a demon to ensure the Agency were never hurt by Fyodor again.

And upon hearing from Tecchou that Atsushi was being tortured, Kenji went into his rage state.

They are the ones others turn too when they’ve lost all hope.

And both are regarded as the strongest members in the Agency.
