The past couple days online have been... interesting. I consider myself a leftist, think capitalism is corrupt, and think that it needs to be seriously reformed/overthrown. I admit that while I've thrown around phrases and terms like "burn it all down" and "the revolution needs to come" out of frustration without actually thinking about what a revolution entails: excellent organization, unity, and strategy to defeat the United States, the world's largest military superpower which has inflicted political and social destabilization across the majority of countries around the world. There also needs to be superb infrastructure and community to support the disabled, elderly, and poor populations who rely on government assistance and programs, healthcare, and accommodations while this so-called revolution rages on.

All I've received from the far leftist movement are lectures from condescending intellectuals who rattle off academic citations regarding ideological theory rather than practical, tangible steps to advocate for change in our local and regional communities. I have not seen one of them actually discuss conversations they've had with their friends, family, or Americans about what they want to see reflected for the future of the country. I have not seen one of them discussed how destructive, detrimental and traumatic a Trump presidency was for social prejudice and morale in the United States. I understand that for many marginalized groups they've been living in a facist state for centuries so the possibility Project 2025 doesn't galvanize them to see the two parties differently, but I don't think it is fair to white leftists falsely equivocate the election of both parties for the entire American population at all??? Or like at least specify the issues you're referring to in which you view both parties as the same????? Literally one TikTok creator who I used to follow talked about how true leftists are so much better than liberals because they aren't waiting for a presidential candidate to save the world NOW due to the accelerated apocalypse due to climate change but when asked how to change the world they suggest sharing ideas of your future utopia with other leftist groups. How the fuck is sitting around talking about living in a walkable community is great considered "saving the world now"? How are you going to dismantle and restructure American infrastructure to create these communities? How are you going to remove existing racial and social tensions to create a community where everyone lives happily side by side? Do people not consider reality at all?????

And is it not wrong for people to have a fucking sliver of optimism and hope at incremental change that's achieved within the corrupt bipartisan system of American politics, even if they know it's propaganda??? Is it wrong for people to have a singular fucking moment of relief in feeling like their values, beliefs, and lives will be better protected and THEY can advocate for change better??? Is it wrong when there's a couple months until the most pressing election in recent history for people to make the choice they feel will reduce the most amount of harm???

Idk how to tell you there's really only 4 options in the upcoming election and only one actually reduces harm for us here in the states and the Palestinians.

Option 1: Vote for trump. Your a shitty racist cause trump wants to " finish the job" aka complete the genocide. He also will enact project 2025 and sucks Putin's dick. He will happily kill you. You are a fucking idiot.

Option 2: Vote for Kamala. She wants to stop it and is the most progressive person we've had on the ticket and potentially could be the first female, biracial black president in us history. There is litterally no reason not to. She's stated at least 8 times on the trail she wants a fucking ceasefire.

Option 3: Vote third party. Dosent really matter the reason, wether trump is a little too extreme or not extreme enough for you or your stupid and dont realize 0 pple outside of your state know who your resident popular independent is. Jill stein should die. Wether trump or Kamala are too moderate or extreme for you, in our current climate, it's basically the same as throwing your vote away cause there's 0 chance in hell they will win. One vote less for Kamala might as well be a vote for trump or lack of vote. This does nothing for Palestine.

Option 4: Don't vote. Throw away your own voice to scream it on social media where it won't make any material difference. Sure you can scream about Palestine but you intentionally did not do one small free thing you could do to materially help them, like voting for a candidate that vocally wants a ceasefire.

The literally only option that helps Palestine in any major way is option 2. Dose she "both sides" the issue? Yes, abit. But grow a fucking brain and actually listen to her. She litterally, word for word, stated that the children of Palestine are being mistreated and killed in unprecedented numbers and a ceasefire and two state solution is the only way forward. That's what she fucking said. Imma be a realist again and some people will be mad but as much as I'd love for all of Palestine to be restored, Isnotreal to be completely dissolved and force Israelis to step out of their little white bubble and realize you can't just force your way onto a land without consequences, its not gonna happen. What will most likely happen, best case scenario, Palestinians will get part of their land back and be forced to reforge their own nation from the ground up mostly alone without much help. Which fucking sucks but it's better than ethnic cleansing and hotels built on mass graves.

I'm fucking furious that the media and/or the billionaire class could have chosen at any time, ANY TIME, to carry out this coordinated ratfucking on Trump, and nope, they did it to Biden. Not coincidentally after he openly started espousing even more leftist/progressive tax and wealth policies. I'm also fairly certain that Putin (who is well used to playing the American elections ratfucking game) is involved here somehow, because he desperately wants Biden out and Trump back in. The elected Democrats who went along with this and/or who contributed to fucking Biden over also have a hell of a lot to answer for, and I hope we, the voters, let them fucking know. The only way this makes sense is if Biden is actively dying of Covid right now and/or if it's bad enough to permanently damage him. In that case, he might have had a modicum of actual say about this, rather than falling victim to the Anonymous Sources who stabbed him in the back every step of the way.

That said: Kamala is a genuinely good candidate. I am excited to have the chance to vote for her. This does turn the whole Referendum on Two Old White Men With Mental Issues narrative on its head. She might be able to reach some constituencies that Biden couldn't. I don't know for sure if all the Democratic/never-Trump GOP votes will translate, but I am so motherfucking tired of fascists thinking this will be a walk in the park.
