ninjago characters x their perfect gn! s/o
----------------------------------------------------------
----------------------------------------------------------
Pairing: Ninjago characters x gn! Reader
Status: none
Summary: The perfect partners of each character (mentioned above)
Warnings: none
Type: headcanons
Note: I'm sorry if Harumi is a bit ooc!! I haven't really watched a lot after seasons 7 and 8!! Thank you for the request though!! IM VERY SORRY ABOUT THE DELAY!! IT'S EXAM SEASON AND I'VE BEEN HAVING SOME PERSONAL PROBLEMS!! :((
Lloyd
♡ Lloyd has a very unstable life, so I'm sure at one point he'll crave a partner who's very down to earth, but still has that kid in them!!
♡ Despite him being a warrior and a leader, Lloyd is very fragile. He can take just that much stress and hurt so he'd need you to be his safe space.
♡ In my eyes he'd need someone careful and gentle, but still someone who could be a kid along with him,,, someone who's willing to stay despite everything and listen to him. Someone to take him in their arms and shush him sweetly whenever the pressure gets too much,,
♡ Kai is a very outgoing, confident, fiery person, but behind closed doors he lets himself be the exact opposite. I see him having a partner that is ready to accept both of his sides,,
Kai
♡ I honestly see him dating a chill confident person who rolls their eyes at his pick up lines, but in the same time I see him having a s/o who's a bit nerdy and their eyes just light up whenever their favorite topic is brought up,, he's over there lovestruck while you gawk about your fixation,,,,
♡ Reassurment is constant with Kai - from both ends of the relationship and it means the world to him that for once he could get taken care of instead of always being the older brother, the caregiver, the parent
♡ YOUR SUPPORT WOULD KEEP HIM GOING!!!!
Cole
♡ A very simple, very very sweet guy, so I think an equally sweet s/o would definitely catch his attention!!
♡ If you have a thing for cooking, you're already his biggest crush
♡ I see Cole as a touchy person and he would def love it if your love language was physical touch and acts of service
♡ He's used to being the muscle of the team, always doing the heavy lifting, so it would be a relief to get pampered and taken care of after a tough mission,, he would melt if you took the time to tend to every scar,,,,,
♡ A sweet chill s/o would definitely be the perfect pick, since I think he would value stability a lot in his life.
Zane
♡ Zane's perfect match would be someone very patient and gentle!!
♡ He'd love a partner who's just as curious as him and someone who's willing to be patient with him,,,he doesn't have a very good grasp on all things romantic, but he's trying his best!!
♡ Zane really loves quality time over everything else!!
♡ Zane would be head over heels in love with someone who's very intelligent and interesting!! Bonus points if you're an artistic person,,,he tries his best to understand art and he enjoys it a lot!!
♡ He'd love a S/o who loves cooking or trying out new food, also one who loves to go out on small private romantic dates!! It's his type of thing, but he would be open to a slightly different type of outing if that's what you're into.
Jay
♡ He'd love a very energetic s/o who's just like him!! If you're into tech and stuff he'll be over the moon!!!!!
♡ Jay loves a sweetheart who could comfort him and reassure him that he isn't too much and that he's doing a good job,,
♡ If his s/o is into poetry he'd be smitten,,,yes of course he wants to hear what you wrote,,,,,
♡ Jay is the type of guy to want a very dynamic relationship with a lot of fun and surprises and dates!! He's always thinking of ways to surprise you and make you feel appreciated!!
♡ Physical touch and gift giivng are his love language!! Prepare to be smothered in kisses on a daily basis and have a ton of handmade gifts!!
Morro
♡ He is in denial to the very end.
♡ He isn't very vocal about his love, but he's like a puppy trust me,,
♡ Morro'd love a peaceful s/o,,, someone who could balance his temper out and keep him down to the ground. A calm partner would definitely be his best match. He would be very passionate in his love, just like Kai, so he'd appreciate a bit of spice as well.
♡ He's very into intelligence!! He is also head over heels for some confidence and cockiness.
♡ Morro pretends he's a very tough unlovable guy even after getting reformed, but the truth is that he's fragile. He's been that way ever since he was a kid, so he's not going to trust you with his emotions in the beginning. He needs constant reassurement even if he doesn't say a word about it. You need to pick up the subtle signs by yourself if you want to figure out what's with the change in his behavior.
♡ Make him his favorite dish, give him some cheek and chest kisses and some kind words and he's not going to leave your arms for the rest of the day. Make him feel appreciated and enough and it's going to be returned tenfold.
♡ This man will adore every single thing you do.
♡ Quiet dates are his thing, even if it's just laying in bed cuddling he's there and fully engaged. He'd love a fancy date tho,, you get a bit from both worlds.
♡ Quality time and physical touch are Morro's type of thing, his hand is always around you - rubbing your shoulder, holding your hand etc. His hand is on your waist outside and you're always getting kisses on the top of your head.
Pixal
♡ If Pix is in a relationship, she'd be fully invested, so she'd want a partner who's fully engaged as well.
♡ Her projects and work are very important to her, but you always come first.
♡ Pixal would be the type to fall for a person that takes interest into her own interests, or if it isn't their type of thing, pay attention to her, ask her questions, try to engage, show interest and she's going to appreciate you sm!!
♡ Her love language is gift giving and acts of service, but she's going to melt for some sweet words and reassurement!!! Sucker for pillow talk!!
♡ I feel like she'd love physical affection as well, especially cuddles!! Stroke her head and kiss her cheeks while letting her feel your body warmth and pixal will be so happy!!,,
Harumi
♡ She WILL treasure you and adore you every day!! Fresh flowers included!!
♡ She's pretentious and bratty and no one can truly please her you're perfect how are you doing this
♡ She's going to be protective of you, surely.
♡ She'd love to do things for you to express her love, since I think she isn't going to be the best with words - cleaning your room, doing your makeup, making you food, memorizing your medicine or your hair products etc etc.
♡ She'd be head over heels if you made her home cooked meals,,,,Harumi would love a partner who celebrates all her accomplishments with her and also one who looks after her even if she pretends she doesn't want to be,,, she's fussy, but painfully in love whenever you take care of her bruises or fix her makeup if it's smeared before she goes out,,,just little things like that make her day better,,<3

Good day! Since you and Matenrou are a match made in heaven, I suppose TRR and MTR would see each other at least from time to time, right? How does everyone get along? Do you all do something special together or strictly your own thing? :o
@yokairu I love my boys so much, thank you so much for asking about them! Also calling me and Matenrou a match made in heaven has made my year!!!
TRR and MTR are on the best/worst terms you can have! Its the best because we’re one huge team, but it really is the worst when we’re forced to face each other down. I’ve written about it before but we have to make little bets to keep ourselves inspired to fight one another. Even after battles we do see each other, usually getting dinner/breakfast together so we can cover our bet and air any bad blood we might have from the fight.
Usually when we’re cutting through or visiting Shinjuku we’ll also stop by to visit whoever is available. Popping by Doppos workplace to bring him a surprise lunch, checking up on Hifumi while he’s doing his daily chores, or visiting Jakurai’s hospital when he’s on break. We work jobs that are a lot more flexible than theirs so the only person we get surprise visits from is Hifumi who usually comes by with food or to help us around the house! On days we’re all free we usually go fishing since thats the one thing we can all agree on doing together. Kai and Cat are both okay at fishing, Kai lacks the patience and Cat lacks the skill for them to be better, but me on the other hand, I can’t fish at all!!! Doppo and I are the worst but at least we have each other to groan to when we catch nothing for the thirtieth time.
Heres their general relationship with each other too!
Kai of course gets along with Matenrou pretty well and they find him easy to be around too! Of everyone he gets along the best with Hifumi, the two are both very lively people, although Kai’s energy is pretty passive. They can be some rowdy boys when they’re with each other though, they really bring out the excitement since they're the pups of their groups. The two always have something to talk about, the only time theres silence between them is when Kai starts drifting off as he thinks of his responses. Jakurai and him work together pretty well too! Unlike Hifumi, Kai isn’t usually an outwardly energetic person so relaxing with Jakurai can be just as exciting as running around the town to him. As the leaders of their groups they usually chat between themselves about practices and upcoming battles, beyond divisions though the two will discuss dates for fishing trips and other hobbies the two have gotten each other into. He worries about Doppo, so most of the time his brotherly instincts kick in whenever the poor salary man starts getting self deprecating. A head pat here and there to remind him that he’s doing his best and that he’s proud of him no matter what, Doppos usual response to it defaults to being awkward. Kai also loves helping him with whatever suit issues he has too, but he never really gets a chance since Hifumi is already Doppo’s tailor. Its usually only when the two are out together does he get a chance at fixing his suit since Hifumi doesn’t carry sewing supplies like he does.
Cat is kinda awkward since he isn’t the most friendly person at first and even then he’s still a little standoffish. The person he finds the easiest to be around is Jakurai, hes patient, quiet, understanding, and just look at that hair!! Cat would be lying if he said he didn’t want to have the chance to style it, there’s so many ideas he has planned if he ever can. Honestly, Cat is very proud of his hair, but since its synthetic he’ll never get a chance to try shorter styles without making a permanent change, but he also cant try anything longer either. Its why he really loves playing with hair, and why he always talks to Jakurai about different styles he should try because to him it should be a crime to wear such beautiful hair so plainly. Doppo is pretty chill to be around, the two don’t really ever have much to talk about so they usually just relax in silence. However, like he would with anyone else with hair, Cat does offer to trim and style Doppo’s for him, or at least help manage his bangs. He always declines, Hifumi does basically everything for him and it seems he’s also his barber too. The two also relate on having to deal with their teams goofs (more Hifumi than Jakurai of course) and help try to tame each others head aches about it around battle time. Cat thought Kai could be a bit of an airhead but when he met Hifumi for the first time his Kai tolerance raised by a hundred. Its not like the two can’t get along its just that there is only so much Cat can take before his social battery drains which just happens to go a lot faster with Hifumi. When they are together though they do make a good duo, the funny man and the straight man as someone like Sasara would put it.
#🌺🌸#🐶🐱#Sorry if its too long or if it read weird#For some reason this was a little harder to write still fun tho!!#I just need to put more thought into Cat and Kais relationship with the main cast#Also I read your tags on your last ask imma cry Im so happy!!!#Kai is very much ready to be your new older brother!! And he loves all things sewing so prepare for those plushies too#We also do make our own merch!!!#Also dont tell Matenrou but we bootleg some of their merch too!#Its hard to get MTR merch during battles since its always sold out and we keep getting spotted#BUT I WILL REP SHINJUKU NO MATTER WHAT

MC’s half Demon, and they look AWFULLY familiar...
‘Kay guys, I got a different kind of stupid Headcanon to throw at you. Get ready!
Part 2 Lessons 1-5 Part 2.5 Group Retreat Lessons 10-12 Lessons 13-15 Part 3 Part 4
*ahem* picture if you will, it’s the day the exchange program is set to start. The student council (nix Mr. Kill All Humans, Weeb-supreme, and our Scummy Sweetheart) have assembled to welcome the new human student. All is going according to schedule, the portal opens up at eight am sharp, they hear the pitiful screams of the selected human who was not given a heads up about the whole thing, and the poor little human falls straight onto the marble floor.
There’s something a tad... off about this human don’t you think? After they’ve peeled their sorry ass off the floor they observed the assembled student council with an air of sophistication and self importance that no one expected. Their posture was perfect, their eyes sharp and calculating... they bared a striking resemblance to-
“Lucifer,” Diavolo looked to his right hand man, then back to the human. “The human kind of looks like you!”
And out popped four pitch black wings from the human’s back and two small horns out of the sides of their head, one horn was a bit bigger than the other. They even still had some of their down feathers! How cute!
((Content warning: Swearing (I have a potty mouth, forgive me), but that’s it.))
Luci-dad
So, the MC is Lucifer’s kid! Of course Mr. Prideypants immediately tries to recall exactly what little romp in the human world uh... spawned this half-human half-demon child of his. Good thing MC’s got the other parent on speed-dial.
“Please note, MC,” Lucifer pinched the bridge of his nose upon hearing Asmo take even more pictures of his newly discovered hellspawn. “I was not aware of your existence, if I was I’d-”
“Don’t worry about it. I’m not upset.”
Lucifer blinked a few times in surprise. “P...pardon? You aren’t upset?”
“No, my parent told me that my father was a high ranking demon, and they bare no ill will against you. Though, I am looking forward to this whole... exchange program thing.”
Oh wow, that was easier than Lucifer thought. Damn. Well, he was a father... (let’s be real, he’s been parenting his brothers for thousands of years, and a good chunk of you sinners call him daddy)
MC is probably the most protected student at RAD, despite the fact that they have no visible security detail whatsoever. They didn’t want to be seen as... weak and pathetic.
Something about this human just... set the lesser demons on edge. Any talk of eating them was stamped out on the first day when they walked by. It’s like Lucifer himself was staring at them, daring the demons to try and bother the human. MC’s powerful presence kept them protected and feared.
...at least until dear uncle Asmo decided to do their hair one morning. All those ribbons may have looked adorable but they kind of ruined the intimidation factor.
MC loved to mess with the other students, keeping their lineage a secret for the first little while just made it so much funnier when the other demons tried to scramble out of MC’s way without looking like they were running from the ‘weak little human exchange student’.
Oh wow, what a sadist. Like father like child
Flying lessons are a must. Poor MC isn’t terribly good at controlling their wings, and their horns are still growing in so when they pop into their demon form the first thing they get is a sore skull. Ow... it sucks that Lucifer isn’t outwardly very sympathetic.
“Ow!” MC crashed face first into the grass in the backyard of the House of Lamentation. “Father! My wings are cramping! Can’t we practice this tomorrow?”
The sight of seeing his dear child crash face first into the ground had lost its hilarity after the first three times. Lucifer slowly lowered himself to the ground and crossed his arms as he stood over his incredibly grass-stained kid.
“MC, we’ve been ‘practicing this tomorrow’ for the past month. If you want to learn to fly you’re going to have to actually manage to stay in the air for more than three minutes.”
MC shot Lucifer a withering glare that only preteens were capable of, Lucifer matched it with his own much more sophisticated glare.
“You’ve been flying for over a thousand years! Don’t you have any tips that can actually help other than ‘don’t panic, you’ll look ridiculous’?”
Lucifer dragged a gloved hand down his face and looked around, the two were alone as far as he could see.
“MC,” Lucifer began. “When I was a young angel, I needed to learn how to fly with someone else.”
MC perked up. “Who?”
“Michael. The smug bastard picked up flying quicker than I did.”
“What’d you do?!”
Lucifer smiled at his child’s intense investment. “I practiced flying every day for five extra hours until I could do everything that Michael could do, just better.”
MC’s starry eyed interest died almost instantly upon hearing about the extra five hours of practice. “Humph, I bet I could outfly younger you and Michael with only two hours of practice a day.”
“Really now?”
“Yes! Watch!” MC shook off their wings and took off in a running start before shakily making it into the air. Their form was decent enough, and they weren’t shaking as much as the previous attempts. “SEE?!”
“Yes MC,” Lucifer smiled. “I can see.”
You know what else Lucifer could see? MC crashing right into a tree.
“Ouch...”
Okay... maybe they could halt practice a little early and order a treat from Madame Scream’s. A little sugar to refuel is needed when the end goal is crushing a mutual rival beneath their heels. Just some good old fashioned father/child bonding time!
MC has a smaller seat right next to Lucifer’s seat in the Assembly Hall. I will not compromise on this one.
For all your fluff needs, I give you: Lucifer teaching MC how to play the piano. He has a proud little smile on his face when his kid finally starts getting it. That’s all. Enjoy the image.
That one Uncle who gives you Alcohol at Family Gatherings (Mammon)
Yeah, when Mammon burst in late to the party and whining about everyone’s spamming him with texts to haul his scummy ass to the Assembly Hall, the last thing he expected was to see a mini-Lucifer.
“What the fuck am I lookin’ at?!”
The glare the two Lucifers gave the poor Avatar of Greed was enough to make him want to turn tail (uh, wing) and book it down the hall.
“Mammon, this is MC. They’re my child.”
“Hello.”
“...whaaaa..?” Mammon looked between the two, same glare, same intimidating aura, same annoyingly good posture.
Mammon scratched the back of his neck and looked over at his older brother. “Do I uh... still gotta babysit em’ if they’re not human?”
“The lake of Cocytus will melt the day I let you babysit without supervision.” Lucifer grumbled.
“I don’t need a babysitter!”
Despite Lucifer’s initial denial, Mammon and MC ended up spending a lot of time hanging out when Lucifer was busy with paperwork. Of course Mammon’s first thought was ‘how do I profit off this situation?’
MC is now Mammon’s designated babysitter after they caught him picking up their feathers that had fallen off with the intention of painting them white and claiming they were Lucifer’s from back in the Celestial Realm.
Mammon does end up spoiling MC a little. Just a smidge. They’re the kid of his totally not his favourite brother after all! How could he not? Whether or not these gifts are obtained legally or are legal at all is subject to scrutiny.
“Mammon, I can’t drink this!” MC placed the bottle of Demonus back on the counter of the kitchen.
“Why not? That’s a bottle of the good stuff! We gotta celebrate you gettin’ an A on that test somehow!”
“I’m underage! Incredibly underage. I’m not legally allowed to drink.”
Mammon wordlessly plopped a silly straw into the bottle. “...does that help?”
“No.” MC then inclined their head to the bottle. “And I don’t want to get hung from the ceiling, that bottle was in my father’s study yesterday, I’m above theft.”
“How old are you s’posed to be anyway? Never mind... uh...” Mammon wracked his brain for something else he could do for MC that didn’t cost anything (don’t judge him, the poor bastard was flat broke!). “I could... teach you to drive!”
“Driving?”
“Yeah! Drivin’ is awesome! We can take my car!”
The bills for the damages done to the car and the Devildom were mailed to Lucifer the next day, and MC and Mammon got to keep each other company as they hung from the ceiling. Ah well! At least MC wasn’t upside down!
Mammon wasn’t that good of a flight teacher either, he also crashed into a tree (the same tree MC crashed into, actually) when he was cheering for MC. They were finally able to do a loopdy loop! He was proud and distracted! Okay?! Lucifer! Stop smirkin’ at him! It’s not that funny!
At least the vantage point from the tree was decent and the branches didn’t scratch him up too badly. Oh hey... that person walking by was wearing a very nice watch... he’d be right back-
That Uncle That is Always Absent From Family Gatherings and When He is Present He Leaves Early (Levi)
He missed everything. That is not an exaggeration. He was in the middle of an online raid battle and couldn’t look at his phone! No Lucifer he can’t pause an online game! That’s not how it works!
Okay, the human exchange student is half demon? WOAH! THAT’S JUST LIKE THAT ONE ANIME- W A I T. THE LITTLE NORMIE IS LUCIFER’S KID?!
Okie doke, he was fully convinced that MC just had to be an anime protagonist.
They binged every series that Levi compared them to. Sure MC might have missed a few assignments because of late night anime binges, but they were too good for this school crap anyway, right?
Nope. Lucifer put a ban on the two watching anime until both their grades improved. Surviving that hell brought the two together.
“Ugh!”
The sound of a pencil case being haphazardly thrown across the room made Levi peek out of his bed-tub. If his figurines got knocked over so HELP HIM-
“This is stupid!!I shouldn’t have to catch up with this!” MC crossed their arms and gave their Demonology textbook their best disapproving glare.
Lucifer Lite (tm) was having a hell of a time trying to claw through their missed work, and Levi sympathized, he really did, it’s just... he was playing Animal Crossing-
Levi paused the game to placate his anime-buddy when their wings popped out and he feared for his rare merch’s safety.
“H-hey, MC? Do you need help?” Levi’s offer was met with a bone chilling glare that lived rent free in his nightmares ever since. He had pulled a Mammon and forgotten he was talking to Lucifer’s child. Lucifer’s allergy to help must have passed down to MC.
“No! I don’t! It’s just... dumb!” MC hissed, she turned and looked over at the fish tank. “Right Henry 2.0?”
Henry 2.0 did not respond.
“MC, you need to finish your homework or we can’t watch anything together,” Levi sighed, he had finished his work over an hour earlier. He had mastered the art of all night anime binges and managing to do most of his work in the fifteen minutes between the time he woke up and the time school was supposed to begin. “We haven’t even binged all of volume 4 of TSL yet!”
“Mmm...” MC grumbled. “Fine...”
MC picked up their pencil case and began continued their work. Levi breathed a sigh of relief and went back to Animal Crossing.
The tiny normie did in fact finish their work, only after they caved and asked Levi for help. Swore him to secrecy, they did... very intimidating, they were.
Just saying, he most definitely sent that one Keanu Reeves meme with big Keanu and little Keanu but with Lucifer and MC to the wrong group chat. Poor bastard.
Flying lessons? No. Levi hadn’t flown since his time in the Celestial Realm, he had no advice to give other than: “Flap your wings!”
“THAT’S WHAT I’M DOING YOU-”
MC didn’t get to finish that thought, they lost their balance and fell right into RAD’s fountain. Ah well, Levi had a head start on running for his life that he squandered by laughing at MC. RIP.
The Uncle/brother/whatever the fuck that Starts a Fight With Your Dad at the Family Reunion. (Satan)
Oh... another Lucifer? Eugh. Gross.
Satan gave the kid a wide berth when they first met. Everything the kid said or did ticked him off. “Tsk. Look at MC. Making an omelette. So annoying.” “Oh wow, MC vacuumed? Roll out the red carpet, we need to celebrate their existence!” “Look at them. Breathing. Disgusting.”
MC’s pride wouldn’t ever let them admit it but... they knew Satan didn’t like them, and it hurt their feelings.
“Shhhh,” Satan whispered into his backpack.
“Meow.” The backpack replied.
“I said shhhhh.”
The backpack did not reply after that, which was a good thing considering the little princet of the HOL was nearby.
“Satan?” They asked. “Who are you talking to?”
Satan coldly brushed past them as he made his way to his room. “No one you need to concern yourself with.”
When the little calico kitten was safe in his room, Satan quickly realized a mistake in his foolproof ‘sneak a cat into the house’ plan. He didn’t have any toys for the kitten, and he didn’t want his books getting scratched...
It was alright, he’d just rush out to the a store that sold cat things and rush back! Five minute trip tops!
Well when Satan got back the cat was no longer in the room. Oh dear. He discreetly tore apart the house looking for the poor little thing until he ended up finding it in the library, happily chasing around a loose feather being held up by MC.
“Oh, hello Satan.” MC chirped as the kitten batted it’s adorable little paws at the feather.
“My... my door was closed. Did you let the cat out?”
MC shrugged. “I heard meowing.”
Satan ran a hand through his hair and grumbled. Stupid smaller Lucifer. Stupid original Lucifer. Everyone sucked.
“Let me guess, you’re going to run to Lucifer and tell him all about the meowing and the rule breaking.”
MC shook their head and glared at Satan. “Of course not. I’ve already gotten way too attached to this little guy anyway. We’re co-parenting this kitten like mature adults.”
With some coaxing, Satan did sit down and play with the kitten, maybe MC wasn’t... so terrible.
The two watch Unsolved Mysteries together, that’s their show. “This guy did it.” “Satan, we’re two minutes into the episode-” “Trust me.”
Thirty minutes later.
“He did it.” “See MC, what’d I tell you?”
Lucifer did find out about the cat, but with enough pleading, MC and Satan managed to warm up the cold spot in Lucifer’s chest where his heart should have been. The cat’s name is Detective Toe Beans (or just Bean).
Satan can’t fly, he has a tail, but he did read up on wing anatomy and how flight actually works in demons, his advice would be good in theory, but it’s full of so much technical jargon that MC can’t understand it.
At least MC didn’t crash into something, they barrel rolled through one of the HOL’s windows. Good thing it was the window to their room. The broken arm still hurt like hell.
The Best Dressed Bitch Who Brings The Booze to The Reunion. (Asmo)
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
Lucifer’s kid was SO CUTE! A thousand pictures commemorating that adorable moment needed to be taken! Wait- Lucifer- GIVE BACK THE PHONE-
Asmo, surprise surprise, absolutely adores little MC! So cute! So small! He was just so excited to announce to all his Devilgram followers that Lucifer was finally a certified DILF.
That post disappeared five minutes after it was made but the damage had already been done.
Asmo made sure MC looked their best at all times, if they needed help talking to anyone? Asmo’s got their back!
Sure, maybe he’s a little pushy, but pushy’s a good thing sometimes, right?
“Asmodeus-”
“No, these shoes wouldn’t fit you...”
“Asmo-”
“No, not these ones either...”
“ASMODEUS.”
Asmo squeaked and jumped upwards, Geez Louise... little MC’s voice could sure be scary when they wanted it to be...
“I don’t need any fancy new shoes.” MC huffed, sitting up straighter in one of the chairs in Asmo’s room. “I thought this was supposed to be a sleepover.”
“Hmmm...” Asmo pouted. “Makeovers are an essential part of sleepovers... what’d you do with your human friends up in the human world that could possibly be better than a make-over?!”
MC began to list things off. “Ordered junk food, talked about people we hated, watched movies,”
“Greasy food is so bad for your skin...” Asmo cringed and shook his head violently. “But I’m totally down to watch a movie and bitch about people I hate!”
“Ah yes, human sleepovers, a tradition I never quite had the chance to enjoy.” Solomon said from Asmo’s bed. “Who are we bitching about?”
“Remind me what Solomon is doing here.” MC muttered as they sat down in front of Asmo’s TV.
“Because, I wanted to hang out with my two favourite humans.” Asmo cooed, reaching over and trying to pinch MC’s cheek, which they awkwardly dodged.
“Can we watch The Exorcist?” Solomon asked, propping his head up with his hands.
“Ew, no.” Asmo made a face at him. “That scene with the vomit? Hell NO.”
“Mm.” MC mumbled. Asmo turned to look at them.
“MC? Are you doing okay? You don’t look like you’re having any fun...”
“I’m fine.” MC grumbled.
Asmo pursed his lips, as much as it made his little narcissistic heart break, he nudged MC. “Why don’t you pick the movie, sweetie. I’m sure Solomon and I will like anything you pick!”
MC noticeably brightened. “Let’s watch Scream!”
The strangled noise that came from Asmo was... concerning, but to his credit, The Avatar of Lust held his tongue about his distaste for the movie, and the three slumber-party goers had quite the lovely time.
After the movie ended, MC went back to their room, sure it was a sleepover but their bed was right down the hall.
Good for Asmo and Solomon. Horny fuckers. We stan.
Asmo just claps and tries to cheer MC on when it comes to their flying lessons. (The idea that Asmo came up with to wear his cheerleader costume from the previous Halloween was immediately shot down by Lucifer)
“You’re doing wonderful, MC- WATCH OUT FOR THE POWER LINE!”
MC didn’t hit the power line, but Asmo’s scream of terror caused them to fall butt-first into a dumpster. Their injured tailbone served as a tragic memory of the incident.
Oh well, good thing Asmo had nice smelling soap to give that could mask dumpster-stink.
The Uncle that eats everything and tells you to eat your veggies while you angrily pick at your broccoli at the kid’s table. (Beel)
Lucifer... has a kid?! Beel choked on the cheetos he had snuck into the Assembly Hall when the kid’s wings popped out.
Oh wow, that’s nice :) maybe they can eat together. Belphie would probably like them.
Wait what is the gender neutral term for Niece or Nephew?
...Nibling? Uh... let’s not say that around Beel. We don’t need him to get hungrier and begin associating MC with nibbling on things.
The Underground Tomb incident probably went a little differently, but after all that nonsense, the two are closer than two peas in a pod!
Mmm... peas...
“Beel?” MC stepped into the Avatar of Gluttony’s room.
“Hi MC.” Beel was doing push-ups in the middle of the room, on the ground right beneath his head was a massive bowl of spaghetti that he bit into every time he completed a push-up. “Can you come stand on my back? I need the extra weight.”
“On your back?” MC padded closer. “Are you sure? It’s not going to hurt?”
“No, it’ll be okay.” Beel assured them. “Belphie and I did this all the time. Except Belphie is normally asleep.”
MC tentatively stepped onto Beel’s back. It was a balancing act to say the least, they eventually gave up on standing and ended up sitting cross legged between Beel’s shoulder blades.
“You did this with Belphegor?” MC asked.
“Yeah,” Beel sighed. “He was always too tired to exercise, but he’d let me bench press him sometimes...”
MC frowned and hugged their knees to their chest. Knowing full well that Beel’s twin wasn’t in the human world like Lucifer said was absolutely ripping them apart from the inside. Guilt felt just as rotten as their pride did when they were being belittled...
“Maybe you’ll see him again sometime soon.” MC whispered. “Maybe my father’ll come to his senses and let him come back down to the Devildom.”
Beel paused his push-ups for a brief moment, then nodded and went back to his eating exercising combo. “I hope so. He’ll like you, MC. I’m sure of it.”
MC nodded. “I... hope so.”
Beel’s a pretty decent flight teacher, but his wings are just so different from MC’s that it renders any tips he had next to useless.
“MC, maybe your wings aren’t flapping fast enough.”
“Beel, I appreciate the thought, but I’m not a hummingbird. Or a fly. I don’t need to flap my wings a million times a minute to stay afloat.”
Ah well, MC tried to take some of Beel’s advice, but their lower right wing cramped up and they ended up flying in circles until Beel was able to catch them. Ah well, better than the dumpster incident the previous week.
The Uncle That Passes Out in The Basement and You’re Not Allowed to Wake Him Up Even Though All Your Toys and Video Games Are Down There. He Also Picks a Fight With Your Dad’s New S/O Before He Passes Out. (Belphie)
Sitting in the attic was quite a drag, and this supposedly weak little human was quite the annoyance to try and call out to. It took a lot longer than expected, but when he heard little footsteps coming towards his prison, Belphegor nearly jumped with joy.
Oh... it... looked like Lucifer. Smelled like Lucifer. Stood like Lucifer. Quacked like Lucifer. Or... trilled..? Whatever sound a peacock made, this brat sounded an awful lot like Lucifer.
A... half-demon. Hmph. Belphie honestly thought Lucifer had actual standards. Not anymore, he guessed.
(Man I could fill a whole-ass fic with the Belphie betrayal thing, but for now let’s skip to post attic nonsense)
Okay so maybe MC wasn’t disgusting. They made a good nap buddy. It was cute when their wings came out when they were sleeping sometimes. Well... it was cute when they didn’t hit him in the face and make him wake up with his mouth full of feathers.
What Beel said had been true, Belphie made a good substitute when weights weren’t available, but Beel didn’t want MC to feel left out, so Belphie and MC ended up sitting on his back while he did push ups. MC once got bored and started playing Go Fish with Belphie on Beel’s back while he exercised.
Yes. MC is still a member of the Formerly-Anti-Lucifer League.
“Are you sure he’s not going to be too mad at us?” MC asked for the dozenth time that day. Detective Toe Beans was wrapped around their neck like a scarf (he had gotten so big!!!) while MC nervously sat in one of the Library chairs.
“Positive.” Belphie said with a toothy grin. “Besides, he’s like putty when it comes to you. Just give him your best puppy eyes and we’re not guilty on all charges.”
Putty..? Really..? Lucifer..? How strict was he before MC got there... they wondered.
“Sh! He’s coming!” Satan stuck his nose into a random book, it was the Oxford English Dictionary... and it was upside down.
Belphie pretended to pass out and MC decided that the best course of action was to stare deeply into their cat’s eyes. Yeah... that looked casual and not weird.
“Satan, MC, Belphie.” Lucifer nodded to the three of them as he walked towards the entrance to his study.
“Lucifer.”
“Afternoon, father.”
Belphie let out a cartoonishly loud fake snore that nearly caused both MC and Satan to break cover and start laughing.
Side note, Bean had adorable widdle eyes! That cute little face was just to die for-
“You three..!”
Belphie, Satan, and MC peeked their heads into Lucifer’s study, their handiwork was perfect. Everything was covered in red post it notes. Perfectly not harmful, but SO inconvenient!
“You’re all cleaning this up or so help me-”
“GO!” Belphie and Satan each grabbed one of MC’s arms (Satan also grabbed Bean) and sprinted out of the House of Lamentation. Maybe they’d move back there in twenty years... they hoped that Solomon and The Angels would let them crash at Purgatory Hall...
Belphie had used up his physical energy supply for the next four years. He passed out the moment they stepped into sanctuary. Time for a nap...
Flight practice? Ha. Belphie’s napping. Though, he was suspiciously awake and filming whenever MC did something stupid.
“Try not to suck so bad.”
“GO TO HELL BELPHIE!”
“I’m already there. Hell is every second I’m stuck here watching you fail.”
“YOU’RE GOING TO GET IT FOR THAT!”
Well... MC mastered the dive bomb that day. Lucifer bought them a cake.
Bonus! Your Dad’s New Husband! That Has Managed to Somehow Make Everyone Hate Him Despite the Fact That He’s A Cinnamon Roll. (Diavolo)
A mini Lucifer? A mini Lucifer!
Diavolo dotes on MC like he’d dote on his own kid. MC wants a crown? They’re getting a crown! A damn nice one too! MC wants a title? Here! MC is now... idk Ruler of the area between Majolish and Hell’s Kitchen.
Poor Uncle Mammon’s got some financial insecurity, he’s still the cool uncle... right?!
He is very much that ‘how do you do fellow kids?’ Meme.
He tries to do stereotypical ‘dad’ things but he’s not very good at them. Once he tried to host a barbecue...
Barbatos saved the day, but Mammon’s hair was still singed, Solomon’s cooking still gave Beel food poisoning (SOLOMON EATS TOXIC WASTE I SWEAR-), Luke still got hit in the face with a frisbee, and Simeon got an unhealthy dose of DAD NERVES and got so stressed everyone was almost blinded by the holy light he suddenly started blasting. We do not mention the water guns.
(Seriously whose bright idea was it to give Belphie and Satan water guns while they were in Lucifer’s presence?)
Praise Barbie. He’s too good for them.
“Um...” MC awkwardly held up the baseball, trying to look at it from all angles like it was a completely alien object. “Lord Diavolo... are you sure you want to play catch?”
Diavolo clapped his hands and bounced on the balls of his feet. “Yes! It’s a thing human fathers do with their children, correct? We must make up for lost time between you and Lucifer, right?”
Lucifer massaged his temples and nodded. “If you two would like to play catch...” Lucifer grimaced. “I will too.”
“Okay! MC, throw the ball to Lucifer!” Diavolo instructed.
Lucifer half heartedly held up his baseball glove as MC tossed him the ball. He caught it, and looked over at Diavolo, who was applauding like he just witnessed the greatest feat in sports history.
“Okay! Throw it to me!” Diavolo waved his glove in the air, Lucifer rolled his eyes and smiled. He threw the ball at Diavolo with... a lot of force. Enough force to probably dent steel... Diavolo caught it like it was nothing.
MC suddenly feared for their safety.
“Okay MC, catch!”
Diavolo threw the ball with enough force to break the god damn sound barrier. Well, maybe that was an exaggeration, but the ball sailed way over MC’s head and crashed right through a window.
“Oh my...” Diavolo put a hand on his hip and surveyed the damage to the window. “This isn’t so bad, I believe in human world TV shows this happens quite often. Look! The glass broke in a perfect circle!”
“Yay... property damage...” MC murmured.
Lucifer sighed and pulled out his DDD. “I’ll phone someone to replace the win-”
“Lucifer no! Now according to human world customs we must,” Diavolo took a deep breath, rushed forward, grabbed both Lucifer and MC’s hands and started sprinting away from the Demon Lord’s Castle. “RUN FOR IT!”
“Di- Diavolo!” Lucifer gasped.
“Who are we running from?! That’s your castle!” MC squeaked.
“I don’t know! Just run! That’s what the human TV show says to do!”
Weirdly enough, Diavolo was the best flight instructor. MC’s ability to fly increased tenfold after Diavolo found out that MC was learning to fly.
“You’re doing amazing MC! That was a perfect turn!”
“Thanks Lord Diavolo, I’m surprised I haven’t crashed into anyone or fallen yet!”
“Well, I highly doubt you’ll be crashing into anyone anymore, your flying is practically perfect now!”
Mammon proceeded to fly past them holding what looked like Lucifer’s wallet.
“M-mammon?!”
“Oh... I wonder what he’s doing. Look, MC! It’s Lucifer! Hello Lucifer dea-”
Lucifer ended up colliding with the two of them and sending them all crashing to the floor.
That was the last time MC fell during flying practice.
(We currently have a Go Fund Me set up for Mammon to get the funds necessary to flee the Devildom after that incident. Please donate to save- oh shit hi Lucifer-)

Hey, how are you ?!!
I love your imagines !!
I was wondering if you could do one with Johnny Lawrence of 84!
It's a suggestion 🥺
He had a secret crush on Tommy's best friend, Y / N, so he wanted to talk to her, but was afraid he just ended his relationship with Alli. And he knew that she didn't want a relationship now, due to the various traumas that occurred, so much so that the day comes that he decides to tell his feelings!
🥺🥺😘
My Girl - Johnny Lawrence x Reader
Summary - Reader and Tommy have been best friends since they could remember. Alongside Tommy, came the Cobra Kai’s. Meaning a certain blonde hair, blue eyed karate student, had his eyes on you.
Words - 2.1k
Warnings - mentions of toxic past relationships, fluff, angst.
A/N - I’m great Thankyou, how are you? Thankyou so much for sending in your suggestion! Anyone can feel free to send in any requests!
To everyone else, you were one of the prettiest girls in school. Curvy, honest, caring, nurturing. You weren't the typical 'popular girl' who'd turn her nose up at other groups of students, and that's why you were so loved.
You lived at home alongside your older sister. Your parents tended to business all over the country, meaning it was usually just the two of you. The two of you were very close, and supported each-other through everything, just like how you and your best friend, Tommy.
"So tell me again why you didn't want to go to the beach tonight? All of your Cobra Kai's are there." Y/S/N plopped herself next to you on the couch.
"Can't I enjoy a peaceful night in with my sister?" You smirked and she rolled her eyes.
"Okay fine, Ali's there." You groaned.
"So what? She's your best friend Y/N?"
"No she was my best friend, she's been talking shit about the Cobra's - even Tommy. I get that her and Johnny aren't together anymore, but I've gotta look out for my boys." You admitted, throwing popcorn into your mouth.
"Your boys? You mean Johnny is your boy? The guy has had the hots for you since you were ten." She stated and now it was your turn to roll your eyes.
"Then why did he date Ali?" You questioned.
"Oh baby sister, you have so much to learn. It's obvious that he wasn't going to ask you out before her. You'd just come out of a sticky relationship." You shivered at the thought of your past.
"I get you were young and in love with that jackass, but just because you were young, doesn't mean he had the right to hit you left, right and centre." Maybe she was right, you hadn't really let your guard down with anybody after that.
"Let's not bring that up please." You told her.
"The only thing stopping you two from growing old together, is the fact that Tommy is practically like your big brother. He'd flip a table." Your sister grinned. Speaking of Cobra's, you heard some motorcycles pull up outside your house.
"Snakes in three, two, one." Your sister counted down and then your door knocked.
"Your hair looks a mess." You admitted to Tommy, ruffling up his hair as he walked into your home.
"Honesty is the best policy Y/L/N." Bobby laughed.
"What the hell happened to you?" You questioned Johnny, noticing how flustered and sad he looked.
"Lover boy had his first dosage of heartbreak tonight at the beach." Bobby called out to you from the kitchen.
"Yeah nice one man, thanks!" Johnny said sarcastically, making his way through your house. You shot your sister a confused look, and she just shrugged her shoulders.
"Tommy, your ass better not be eating my leftover pizza!" Your sister shouted and that's exactly what he was doing.
"I appreciate that I'm not having to fix any of your faces tonight guys, but what exactly do you want?" You asked them, grabbing some lemonade from the fridge.
"Well sweet-heart, there's a new kid on the block, Daniel Larusso. He was flirting with Ali." Tommy stole your drink from your hand.
"And how do you feel about that?" You asked Johnny.
"She wouldn't talk to me, so I broke her radio and gave him a seek in assist the old fashioned way." Johnny admitted.
"I take it he's not as good at Karate as you then Johnny?" You joked, trying to make light of the conversation.
"The sexual tension in this room is making me gag." Your sister shoved passed you and grabbed a drink from the refrigerator.
"You're delusional." You muttered.
"I'm sure you'll be lucky with Larusso if you haven't already made a pass at Johnny." Bobby joked, but none of you laughed.
"Like hell man, watch your damn mouth." Johnny snapped.
"Dude seriously?" Tommy glared at him.
"I was joking, come on guys." Bobby tried to defend himself and you all ignored him.
"Quit being mean so Bobby, he just wanted to be apart of the comedian club." You snickered, making everybody burst into laughter.
"I take it you guys are staying the night?" Your sister asked them all.
"It's an annual thing, so if you don't mind?" Tommy smiled.
"Dude, the three of you have sleepovers everyday of the week. It's a fucking daily thing at this rate." Your sister laughed, heading up the stairs to sort the sleeping arrangements out.
Once the beds were ready to go, everyone seemed fairly tired and headed upstairs.
"Y/N wait-" Johnny stopped you from outside your room. Unbeknownst to him that his two friends, and your sister were eavesdropping.
"Can I please talk to you? I kinda need a girl's help, and well you get Tommy through a lot of shit.." He began to rant and you stopped him.
"Calm down Johnny, let's talk." You ushered him into your room, and he laid on your bed, leaning against the bed frame.
"I didn't really know how to say it front of everyone, but you know what a breakup is like. How'd you get over it?" Johnny sighed and you frowned.
"I don't think I ever really got over it because of what he did to me. I'd like to have said I turned into some badass overnight but I didn't. It takes time, and the two of you only broke up a couple of weeks ago. The whole situation is still raw and you have to allow yourself time to heal." You admitted to him.
He couldn't help but stare at you, take in all of your perfections as you we're giving him advice.
"Young love is a load of ass Y/N. She didn't even care about what I had to say tonight." Johnny frowned and it really did look like he was about to cry.
"Jokes on her Johnny, because any girl should be blessed to have you." You smiled, making his stomach erupt into a million butterflies.
"I really appreciate that." He whispered, slowly leaning in, but you leaned back.
"I'm so sorry if you thought that's where I was going with this Johnny, I don't think either of us are ready for that just yet." You coughed out, not really sure how to deal with it.
"No I'm sorry Y/N, I shouldn't have done that. Shit." Johnny was quick to scramble out of your room, and it took you a few moments to comprehend the situation.
Chasing after him and staying in your room were your thoughts for the night. You knew he'd probably be embarrassed, so you didn't wanna push that any further. But he wanted to kiss you. Was that because he wanted to use you as a rebound? To get over his eventful evening with his ex? You had no idea. Or was it because he had now genuinely come to terms of how he really felt towards you?
“Wake your ass up!” Tommy screamed as the morning sunshine came through your curtains.
“Tommy I’m giving you five seconds to get the heck out of my room, or I’m going to smack you silly.” You yawned, suddenly realising it was your first day back for senior year.
“You weren’t saying that to Johnny when he tried to kiss you last night.” Tommy whispered, and your eyes nearly fell out of your head.
“Your secrets safe with me sleepy head, but he wouldn’t have done it if he didn’t mean it.” Tommy gave you a half-hearted smile and left you alone.
“One year to make it all work Y/N.” You muttered, throwing on some clothes to start your senior year.
“The queen has finally made her entrance.” Tommy laughed, handing you a plate of pancakes.
“You look beautiful Y/N.” Bobby smiled, making Johnny clench his jaw.
“Wow it finally looks like a cat hasn’t dragged you through a bush.” Y/S/N ruffled up your hair.
“Well now if does.” You groaned, flattening your hair back out. Time was ticking and it was soon time for school.
“Have a good day you guys!” Your sister waved you all off. It was as if the Cobra’s had it planned all along, because Tommy and Bobby were quick to drive away on their motor-cycles, leaving you and Johnny.
“Can I pitch a ride please?” You asked Johnny with hopeful eyes.
“Of course.” He smiled lightly.
“Can we please talk about last night?” You asked and his smile soon faded.
“We’ve gotta get to school.” You nodded at him, before sitting behind him. The journey to school wasn’t long at all, and it was typical for you to spend your morning alongside the Cobra Kai’s motorcycles.
“I don’t want things to be awkward Johnny, you’re one of my best friends. I’ve got a lot of issues, despite how happy I come across. Maybe one day we can make a thing of us?” You suggested and he had nothing to say.
And so that’s how was it was like, for a very long few weeks after that. Johnny hadn’t said a lot to you, and it slowly made you realise, that you didn’t know what you had, until it started to go away.
“Johnny still not talking to you?” Tommy asked, as the two of you walked together in front of the Cobra Kai’s. You turned around, but Johnny avoided eye contact before turning around the corner to his class.
“He’s insanely in love with you Y/N, I guess he’s just scared.” In love? Come again?
“In love with me, why would you say that?” You asked.
“Trust me, I know.” The two of you continued walking towards your classroom, when you were stopped by a certain Daniel Larusso.
As Johnny was walking to class, he couldn’t help let the overwhelming sense of guilt override him.
“What’s going on with you and Y/N dude?” Bobby asked one of his best friends.
“I don’t know myself man.” Johnny responded.
“You two are so damn love blind.” Bobby groaned in annoyance that his two friends still hadn’t made moves on each-other.
“I can’t push the boundaries again, it’s obvious she’s afraid to be with someone new, and I don’t want to upset her.” Johnny admitted.
“That’s the thing though Johnny, you’re not someone new. Everyone knows about what happened with her ex, and you can be the one to make her trust again.” Bobby’s words were so convincing.
“I’ve gotta go and get my girl.” Johnny shoved his books into Bobby’s hands and rushed back to the other hallway you were in with Tommy. But Bobby didn’t stop there, of course he was going to watch the scene unfold.
“What the hell do you want Larusso?” Tommy stood protectively in front of you.
“You need to sort your boyfriend out Y/N, his attitude is kind of stinky.” Daniel teased.
“He’s not my boyfriend.” You muttered.
“I think he’s about to be.” Tommy noticed Johnny heading over to the two of you.
“Get the hell away from my girl, punk.” Johnny shoved Daniel out of the way, and you bit the inside of your cheek anxiously - not wanting your first day back to end up in a fight.
“Why does everyone think I’m you girlfriend?” You asked Johnny.
“Because I’ve waited so damn long to be able to call you mine Y/N, and I don’t want him taking you away from me, like he did with everything else.” Johnny admitted his feelings, regardless of everybody around him.
“Johnny what are you talking about?” You asked him.
“I’m not him Y/N. I will never be him. I think, I think I love you.” Johnny stepped forward and this time, you allowed him to kiss you. You felt yourself melting on the inside. Cheers and claps echoed through the school hallway as the bell rang.
“What do you say Y/N, will you please be my girlfriend?” He asked, lacing his hands with yours.
“Of course.” You blushed, wrapping your arms around him, and he felt the instant sigh of relief.
“You’re cute when you’re jealous.” You whispered.
“I was so not jealous, I was about to beat Larusso’s ass.” Johnny told you seriously.
“I think you’re forgetting about what Tommy might do to you.” You chuckled, looking over at your best friend and his attempt to look angry.
“It’s not half of the things that I’m going to do to you.” Johnny smirked. You could finally be free of your past, you finally had your man, and boy was he worth the wait.

MY MASTERLIST
Mako was living his absolute worst nightmare.
Stuck aboard an airship with his two exes, his brother, his boss, and his boss’ ex with no opening window to jump out of?
The day was definitely not in his favor.
Every hour seemed to be the same.
Radio a call..hear about a new airbender..find the map..use the map..go to the town..get kicked out of the town..return to the beginning.
While Mako did love having a routine—he was bored of this one.
The only thing that made his day even slightly interesting was Y/N.
It wasn’t long ago when he had met the water tribe girl. They’d first spoken during the Glacier Spirits Festival in the Southern Water Tribe.
He had been introduced to her mother, Kya, through Bolin. His younger brother was so starstruck by Avatar Aang’s only daughter, that he couldn’t help but drag along her own daughter with him for the entirety of the festival.
Bolin spent the rest of the night proudly walking alongside the teenage girl, who had to have been at least two to three years older than him.
He went around and showed her off to all of their friends from Republic City, even if they already knew her.
“Don’t make a show of it, but I know the Avatar’s granddaughter. You don’t need to be wowed or anything, it’s no big deal.”
“Bolin, I’m literally her uncle.”
Mako was one of the very last people to meet the infamous Y/N.
It was right after his argument with Korra about the situation between her father and Unalaq. His emotions were all over the place, confusion and annoyance dominated his mood.
But all of his anger dissolved with one look at her smile.
It was at that moment when Mako decided that Y/N had a gift.
She could lift someone’s spirit with a single glance. Her eyes always glowed with positivity and her soul was the purest one he had ever come across.
Y/N could be compared to the rising sun. Just by existing, she radiated more light and goodness than the greatest man on Earth could ever achieve.
It had been a very brief introduction.
“Mako, my man!” Bolin slapped his palm over the firebender’s shoulder, a cheesy side smile pointed at the teenage girl standing next to him.
“This is my good friend, Y/N. Y/N meet my big bro!”
Y/N beamed, her teeth sparkling under the moonlight. She held out her hand in a friendly manner and looked straight into Mako’s eyes, unafraid of making eye contact.
“It’s nice to meet you, Mako.” She spoke whilst shaking his hand. “I’ve only known Bolin for an hour and I feel like I already know everything about you.”
Mako groaned in embarrassment. He was always flattered by how much Bolin looked up to him, but sometimes his little brother went a little too far.
“You had an hour? Let me guess..” Mako pointedly looked at Bolin, shaking his head in amusement. “He must’ve told you our entire life story by now.”
When she laughed at his blunt attempt at a joke, Mako’s heart soared right then and there.
It was like the fire inside of him had been ignited with gasoline. but instead of her water smothering his flames..they made the grow. Made them stronger.
Though Mako hadn’t realized these lurching feelings at the time. He did have a girlfriend after all, and he liked to think he would never intentionally cheat on her.
That didn’t stop him from admiring her from afar.
Platonically of course.
There weren’t many moments after the festival where Mako found himself alone with Y/N.
He had chosen to follow Korra to open the spirit portals and Y/N went off to tour the air temples with her extended family—and if he was being honest, he hadn’t had much time to think about her between fighting off evil spirits and breaking up with his girlfriend.
It wasn’t until after Team Avatar defeated Unalaq and Vaatu, that Mako’s mind returned to his unresolved and unrealized feelings.
With the spirit portals open, the world was new again.
Thousands of people were traveling, discovering places they never knew existed, and migrating to different nations.
Luckily for Mako, Y/N had been one of those people.
It had taken her about a week to move into her apartment in Republic City.
Her flat was quaint but cosy. It had views overlooking the busy downtown and bustling people, and she had easy access to stores and shops in the neighborhood.
There was nothing wrong with her new home, but it wasn’t like the South. In fact, it was nothing like the South.
Y/N missed her friends and colleagues. She missed the chilly wind that would slice through the air and freeze her cheekbones. She missed the animals and the overall energy that the South had.
But she was open to new beginnings and new friends—and her open mindset was exactly what led her to join her family and Team Avatar on the search for new airbenders.
Which is right where Mako had left off.
The airship was dreadful, dreary, and just plain boring.
His main source of entertainment was watching a cloud disappear from his view, and then preceding to find another one for his eyes to chase.
Luckily for him, Y/N was also bored out of her mind. She had no one to talk to on the ship.
Korra? Tempting, but intimidating.
Asami? Sure if Y/N was less hippy and more business mogul.
Bolin? Yeah, she didn’t want to go down that path again.
Lin? No way.
Her actual family members? Good option—but Tenzin was boring and all Jinora did was read old scrolls.
Y/N was at a loss, and the only person that seemed remotely interesting was the brooding firebender staring out of the window.
When she approached him, Mako was at a loss for words.
He had been thinking about this moment for awhile now, and had a pun filled pick-up line ready to go, but when it came down to crunch time, he stalled.
“Hey,” Y/N smiled, gesturing to the seat next to Mako on the iron bench. “Mind if I sit?”
Mako’s mouth opened to respond, but no words came out of his mouth. He sat there like a fish out of water, nodding his head silently.
Y/N shrugged her shoulders and happily sat next to the nineteen year old.
With her being so close in proximity, Mako’s brain flashed exe.error messages through his thoughts.
They sat in a comfortable, yet also awkward silence for a long time.
Every time Mako tried to get a word out, he stumbled. His nerves overcame his speech, preventing him from sounding the least bit cool.
Scratch that. They prevented him from sounding like an actual person and not a toddler that just learned how to speak.
After what felt like generations, Mako was saved by none other than his ex-girlfriends.
“We just landed,” Korra said, waving to the former probender and his companion. A confused look flashed across her face at the sight of them so close yet so uncomfortable.
Asami then poked her head around the corner, coming into view. “Are you guys going to come out or what?”
Y/N was the first to jump up, nodding her head enthusiastically.
She nearly sprinted to the exit—not because she wanted to get away from her encounter with Mako, she was just really excited to meet new people.
Mako heaved a deep sigh when she was completely out the door and out of earshot. It felt like he could finally breathe again without the stress of being in her presence.
“You like her?” Korra crossed her arms over one another, leaning against the wall as Asami stood by her side.
“What?” Mako stuttered, his face flooding with hues of red and pink.
“Why would you say that?”
“No Way!”
“I don’t even know what you’re talking about!”
Korra and Asami loudly laughed at Mako’s rambling, while they had both been hurt by his actions in the past, they had come to forgive him—and they wanted nothing more than for him to find his special someone.
“Okay, then.” Korra shrugged, pulling Asami out of the room with her, “Whatever you say, Mako.”
Mako dropped his face into his hands, pulling at his hair as he mentally beat himself up.
“But if it matters,” he looked up to see Korra still standing at the door. A genuine smile shown on her face.
“I think you two would be perfect together.”
As Korra finally left him to himself, Mako couldn’t help but think about how lucky he was to have a friend like her.
She was everything he didn’t need in a relationship, but everything he could’ve ever wanted in a friendship.
Eventually, Mako did manage to force himself off of the airship. He helped with the little show the airbenders put on to influence others to join the nomads and even fought a few bad guys while he was at it.
He was finally having a good day, until the little punk tried to steal his wallet.
“Wait,” he ordered, pulling Kai back by the neck of his shirt. Mako held out his hand expectantly and gave the younger boy a hard look.
“I think you might have something of mine.”
Kai smiled sheepishly before pulling out the firebender’s stolen goods.
“It must’ve fallen into my pocket, my bad.”
Mako glared at the new airbender. The stare he was giving Kai was so cold, it could intimidate a pack of polar bear dogs.
“Now listen here,” he bent down to Kai’s level. His tangerine eyes meeting Kai’s green ones. “I know your game. I used to be the master at it, actually—and let me tell you that it gets you absolutely nowhere.”
Mako sighed, he already saw so much of himself in the kid that he didn’t want him to go down the same hard path that he did.
“All I want is the best for you, kid.” He patted Kai on the shoulder before sending him off to join Jinora on the ship. “Don’t mess up this opportunity.”
There were times where Mako enjoyed being the big bad cop or the authoritarian figure, but this was not one of those times.
He just wanted Kai to have the best life he possibly could.
The life he had always wanted for himself.
Unbeknownst to Mako, his secret crush had witnessed the whole ordeal.
His pure-hearted intentions touched Y/N. Acts of kindness and wellbeing always found their way into her heart, and his act of good caught her attention in a very positive way.
It caught her attention enough, that she found herself standing right behind him.
“That was really sweet what you said back there.” She told Mako, who jumped in surprise at her soft voice.
“Yeah, I tried. I’ve been where he is before. I know how it ends.”
Mako felt much more comfortable now that Y/N had started the conversation. He wasn’t afraid to give his thoughts knowing that she was the one who wanted to talk to him.
Y/N let out a low breath. Her hair willowed in the breeze, her eyes shining under the sunlight. She looked like a lost spirit.
A beautiful lost spirit, Mako thought.
“I try, too.” She whispered to him. Mako could barely hear her voice, it was so faint.
“Sometimes being there for everyone else has its downfall.” Y/N’s sparkling eyes turned dim, sadness drowned her usually uplifting features.
“I spend all my energy making sure that everyone I love is happy, but then there’s never anyone looking out for me, you know?”
Mako did know.
He knew exactly how she was feeling. He’d raised Bolin since they were children.
If anyone knew the pressures of holding onto another person’s burdens, it was Mako.
“I’ve noticed that,” Mako said, stepping closer to the girl. He could see that her eyes were welling with tears, all he wanted to do was wrap his arms around her and make all the negative energy go away.
So that’s exactly what he did.
Y/N melted into Mako’s embrace. She felt his body radiate heat, he warmed not only her body, but her heart in an instant.
“I see you, with Tenzin’s kids.” Mako ran his hand down her back, comforting Y/N as best he could. “They look up to you more than they do anyone else. You’re really amazing, Y/N. I’m surprised you don’t hear it more often.”
Right then and there, Y/N realized exactly what she needed in her life—and it was Mako.
If she was being honest with herself, he hadn’t exactly caught her eye before.
She thought he was somewhat bland at the Glacier Spirits Festival and the whole double girlfriend situation definitely didn’t spark her interest in the firebender, but now here she was..
Crying in his arms, confessing her insecurities, and feeling heard.
She had never felt heard before.
“I think you’re really amazing.” Mako blurted out.
He cringed at his confession, hoping that she didn’t take it the wrong way. If there even was a wrong way to take it.
Mako felt Y/N grow still in his arms. His heart pounded in anticipation for what her next words would be.
To his surprise she pulled away..
Before pressing a deep kiss to his lips.
Mako immediately responded. His mouth moved languidly with hers, connecting in the most perfect way, as if they were meant to be.
His entire body nearly combusted. Her bright spirit combining with his fiery one.
Mako felt like sunshine was running through his veins.
She pulled away, giving him one last chaste kiss.
“I think you’re amazing, too.”
i love feedback pls give me some

Whumptober 5
So I decided to revisit an older idea I had and do it better. I think I went too far, but a little drama never hurt anyone.
Prompt: Betrayal Misunderstanding
Randomly Selected Whumpee: Kai
--
Lloyd didn’t know what it was that struck him about the masked man when they first met. Something about the way his eyes burned with some emotion Lloyd couldn’t quite read. His snide comments set Lloyd off and he didn’t know why. It wasn’t anything he hadn’t heard before from countless enemies, but something about the way the masked man said it made something at the top of Lloyd’s spine seize up.
The others seemed to feel it to some degree, but only Nya felt it like he did.
Those eyes burned in Lloyd’s nightmares so bright they were all he remembered when he woke up. He wasn’t particularly afraid of the masked man, but something about him flooded Lloyd with a sharp dread.
He seemed interested in Chen’s goals in the looses possible sense. He flat out didn’t care. He approached the work like it was an office job he had no love for. Zane was theorizing that Chen was blackmailing or forcing him somehow, and that made some sense. But Lloyd felt like there was something deeper. It didn’t explain why his eyes looked like that. Why they burned like that.
Despite how intense his eyes were when they looked at them, the masked man mostly avoided them. It relieved and angered Lloyd. Whenever they did face off, Lloyd choked on feelings he couldn’t name. He wanted answers, but he feared them. Some instinct told him he was better off not knowing.
Better off or not, Lloyd couldn’t do it. He couldn’t keep dreaming of burning burning eyes and waking up with tears on his face, remembering nothing but feeling like his heart had been scrapped hollow.
So he decided to confront the masked man. Alone in an abandoned building, far from both their allies and completely alone with one another, they stared at each other silently.
“I have a few questions for you.” Lloyd said.
The masked man’s eyes shifted in curiosity. But they still burned.
“Ask away then, Green Ninja.” he said. First Master, his voice burned too.
There was a long silence. Lloyd wanted answers, but he didn’t actually have any questions to ask.
“Why do you work for Chen?” Lloyd settled on asking.
The masked man shrugged.
“I don’t really have a reason.” he said causally.
There was no burning. There was no intensity. His voice was light and plain. He didn’t care about Chen. He wasn’t happy, he wasn’t angry. He was completely indifferent to it.
“Let me ask you a question.” the masked man said.
His tone was almost playful as he turned things around on Lloyd Why did that burn worse? Why did that hurt more? But his eyes were smoldering again.
Lloyd made a squeak to respond, not able to force anything more dignified.
“Why do you hate Chen?” he asked “And don’t tell me it’s because he’s evil or whatever. I’m not interested in the hero speech. I want to know what he did to you.”
Lloyd took a step back. There was so much hiding behind what was so carefully phrased to seem causal. Just behind those words was a burning burning burning that Lloyd wanted to run away from. He didn’t know what it meant and he was almost ready to decide he’d rather not know.
But Lloyd had come this far. He was so close to an answer. He couldn’t, wouldn’t back out now.
So he met the challenge. He straightened his back and answered honestly.
“Chen took someone from me.” Lloyd said. “Someone important.”
The man’s stare cracked and Lloyd almost heard it. Those words seemed to slash through some kind of barrier that stood between them. Lloyd was no longer locked out, but he had lost his shield from that horrible burning.
“Who?” he asked.
It was such a simple word, but the weight behind it was agony. This was deeper than Lloyd thought. He was standing on the tip of a chasm and quickly losing his ability to turn back.
Continuing to throw away his chances to back out, Lloyd answered honestly again.
“My best friend.” Lloyd said, swallowing the tears that tried to attach themselves to the words, to the name “Kai.”
The masked man reacted, but Lloyd couldn’t read it.
“Guess he wasn’t much of a friend, huh?” the masked man said. So much anger. So much burning.
It was Lloyd’s turn to burn.
“Kai was the best!” Lloyd yelled. “He was my brother!”
“Then why didn’t you rescue him?” the man asked.
Why were his words so heavy? Why did his eyes burn with so much judgment? Why did it bother Lloyd so much?
“Because….” Lloyd was fighting back his tears with all his willpower “Because Chen turned him against us. He be-”
Lloyd choked on the word.
“He betrayed us.”
Saying it was too hard. Lloyd sobbed and covered his mouth.
“Did he?”
Lloyd couldn’t breath through the rage and offense. Before Lloyd could start to curse, the masked man began speaking again.
“Because I don’t know about you, but I haven’t seen him in Chen’s ranks. If he truly betrayed you, don’t you think he’d still be working for Chen? Did you ever figure out why he wasn’t?”
“I….” Lloyd stammered.
“Did you care?” the man asked his voice burning hotter than it had ever before.
His words were fire; red, hot, and scorching. They burned into Lloyd, branding his soul.
Before Lloyd could adjust to that new searing pain, the masked man spoke again.
“You know, I think I remember this boy. Brown hair, right? Kind of spiky?”
Lloyd could only nod.
“Yeah, I saw him in Chen’s dungeons. He had been there awhile. I almost felt bad for him. He used to say his friends would come rescue him, but eventually I think he gave up hope.”
Lloyd crumbled to the ground, wishing he had left it alone. Wishing he’d left it as nightmares he couldn’t quite remember. Anything was better than hearing this.
“He died a little after that.” the man continued, ignoring the broken noise Lloyd made as his world washed with grief. “Cold, hungry, and begging for his family. I can only assume he meant you. I used to wonder what sort of people could inspire so much hope and loyalty in him. What a disappointment you turned out to be.”
Lloyd’s grief started to burn in anger. What did this stranger know? How dare he taunt Lloyd with his brother’s death.
“Shut up!” Lloyd yelled, slashing his sword toward the man.
Disappointingly, he dodged.
“What? Do you care now!? Now that he’s dead you actually feel something!?” he yelled, bringing his own sword out and clashing against Lloyd.
“You don’t know what you’re talking about!” Lloyd yelled.
“I think I do better than anyone.” the man said with his eyes burning so dark and hot.
Lloyd kept slashing at him, taking out all his fury and regret.
“HE WAS MY BROTHER! HE WAS MY BEST FRIEND! LOSING HIM DESTROYED ME!” Lloyd yelled, tears blurring his vision almost as much as his rage.
It was true. After they got away from Chen, a part of Lloyd died. Kai’s betrayal killed him.
He kept even the other ninja at arms length, too afraid of getting hurt, of ruining them. Lloyd barely let his father in anymore, too convinced he was unlovable. Nya had tried, oh she had tired, but Lloyd couldn’t stand the guilt he felt for ruining her big brother. Whatever happened to Kai was Lloyd's fault and he knew it.
Clearly the masked man knew too, that was why his eyes burned so much when he looked at Lloyd.
Clashing their swords against each other, it was the closest Lloyd had ever gotten to the man. He was so close to that burning gaze, he could almost feel the heat. The anger, the judgment, the concern.
Wait, that wasn’t right. Why, was it so warm? Standing so close, with all the walls torn down, Lloyd finally saw how much kindness there was hidden in there. It was hidden well, but behind all the burning was something soft. Something familiar something….
“KAI!?” Lloyd yelled.
Those eyes! How had Lloyd not noticed! He knew them! That was why they haunted him so much. That was why the masked man had set Lloyd on edge.
The masked man, Kai, launched himself backwards, as if burned by the word, by the name.
He was right.
“It’s you! It’s really you!” Lloyd sobbed, he wasn’t bothering to fight with his tears.
“I told you your brother died.” Kai spat.
Lloyd shook his head. He wasn’t buying it. He knew those eyes! He knew his big brother.
“It’s you. It’s you, Kai. You’re alive!”
Lloyd knew those eyes, but he didn’t know that burning in them. The Kai of his memory had eyes that flickered with kindness, like a candle meant to sooth a scared child in the dark. This Kai was nothing so soft.
Kai finally ripped his mask off. The face Lloyd knew, the one he ran to after nightmares, the one he’d longed to see after so long, was twisted and sharp. A distortion of the brother Lloyd had lost.
“I didn’t say it wasn’t me. I told you your brother was dead.” he snapped.
“I don’t understand.” Lloyd said.
He just wanted to run into Kai’s arms. He wanted his big brother he had spent to so long missing.
“I meant what I said. I spent so long in Chen’s dungeons waiting for you. I broke, and I died. I’m nothing more than a ghost, Lloyd.”
It sounded so hollow. So broken. Like he really was speaking with the voice of a dead man.
“Please, Kai. We can fix this! Please!” Lloyd begged.
His brother was there! He was right there! But he was so far away, hidden inside a stranger.
“You can’t fix this, Lloyd.” he said, shaking his head.
Lloyd couldn’t reach him, no matter how desperate he was. His big brother was back from the dead, but he’d come back wrong.
“PLEASE!” Lloyd begged.
Kai just shook his head again.
“There’s nothing left to say Lloyd.”
Kai turned to leave. Lloyd reached out to stop him, to grab him and hug him, to bring him home, but his grip was too weak and he was too slow.
Lloyd was left on the floor, devastated, wailing, burning.
--
Ahahahaha! Maybe I technically whumped Lloyd a bit more here, but A, it takes two to have a betrayal, and B, I will be making up for this on Day 8. (I’m super excited for that one.)
Here’s the link to the prototype of this story on Kat’s personal blog.
This is very inspired by both the Princess Bride scene and the song “I Know Those Eyes/This Man Is Dead” from The Count of Monte Cristo (the musical)
Anyway, I adore parts of this, but also feel like I overdid it in certain places. No brakes today I guess ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

The Dinner
(Kyalin) Cannon to The Box series.
Tenzin took a seat, sitting Rohan on his lap, bouncing his soon to be toddler.
"Oh, Bataar isn't he the cutest thing?" Suyin said fawning over the little.
"He's adorable." Bataar replied. "Any signs of bending yet?" Bataar asked.
"Well, I can't be totally sure, but I think we have another airbender on our hands!" Suyin cheered, drawing attention to herself.
"I would do anything for another one." She said, causing her husband's eyes to widen in fear.
"No. Please.""oh come on, one more honey." Bataar scoffed, moving to sit with his sons. Su frowned returning her gaze back to Rohan. She was caught off guard when her sister took a seat beside her.
"Lin! You made it!" She smiled, Lin nodded, setting down a place full of food Kya sat next to her and Suyin reached over to shake her hand.
"Its been too long, Kya."
"Much, there's so much to catch you up on, Su." The waterbender said, looking to Lin who ignored her. It wasn't long before Mako and Bolin stumbled into the room, heaving and leaning on each other.
"Hey! Take it outside!" Pema shouted, nearly spilling a tray of beverages.
"Sorry its just- Korra?" Mako asked.
"Shes outside with Asami, they'll be in as soon as Korra gets a whiff of this fish." Tonraq said, eyeing up the dish.
"Can't wait." They pushed past the crowd and Su rolled her eyes.
"Remind me so much of the twins." She remarked and Lin snorted.
"Worse." Her older sister said and Suyin laughed.
"Lin, I'm going to the kitchen to get a drink, want something?" Kya asked.
"Hmm? Something strong." Kya looked at her doubtfully and Suyin glanced toward Tenzin, who seemed to pick up on the energy.
"Come with me." Kya said, pulling her arm.
"Alright, fine. I'll be right back Su." Lin said being dragged away by Kya. Su looked to Tenzinsho put Rohan in his uncle's lap.
"Did you-" they said in unison.
"Sorry, you go." Tenzin said.
"That was weird, right?" Su asked, looking at her sister and Kya from the table. The two were leaned against the counter, Kya pouring a waterbenders portion of wine, engaged in conversation.
"They arrived together." Tenzin said and Su pursed her lips.
"Do you think Kya's living with her?" Su asked.
"Its possible. She's been staying in the city for a while now, I assumed she had her own place or an ex's to crash, maybe she's been staying with Lin." The two woman came back, returning to their seat.
"Sorry," Lin laughed as she sat down. Su looked to Tenzin again.
Is she laughing?
I think so?
"So, Kya, where have you been staying?" Su asked, flattening her robe. Kya took a long sip of her wine, finishing nearly a third of it before answering.
"With Lin. She's um... been letting me stay with her. Just to be closer to the hospital and all."
"Thats very kind of you Lin," Tenzin said, "I didn't know you were so fond of the homeless." Kya flung a spoonful of mashed potatoes off her spoon at her brother who blew it against the wall.
"Ha. Ha." Tenzin smiled, proud of himself.
"Beifong!" Su and Lin looked at the use of their last name, to see Korra, Asami, Mako and Bolin standing at the door. Lin rolled her eyes and Kya patted her on the shoulder, smiling.
"Yes?" Lin asked, standing up and spreading her arms.
"You... you lied to me!" Korra argued. Su looked between the two of them. It didn't seem hostile but.. playful wasn't in Lin's nature. At least she didn't think so.
"Actually I just didn't tell you the truth. Besides, you didn't ask me."
"You told them before us?"
"No, I gave you guys the key to our apartment, and I even gave you the box. You just didn't look in it." Korra's eyes met Asami's a look of realization dawning on them.
"Why... why did you-"
"Wanted to know what you thought. And maybe rub it in a bit." Korra furrowed her brows and Lin smirked. Su looked back to Tenzin when Kya wrapped an arm around Lin's.
Oh my god. She mouthed as the bald airbenders face lit up a bright red.
"Were you in on this?" Asami asked.
"Oh yeah, this whole operation was my idea." Kya replied. "I just thought it'd be funnier coming from Lin. And as always, I was right."
"You're not always right-" Lin began, she was shut down with a look from the waterbender.
"Does someone care to explain whats going on here?" Bumi asked, bouncing Rohan. "I'm getting the sense I don't have all the details."
"Beifong and Kya are getting married!" Korra said and the unanimous gasp in the room was followed by silence.
"Suprise." Lin said, a grin on her face.
"Kya, whats the meaning of this?" Tenzin asked.
"Tenzin, its pretty straightforward..." his sister replied. Su was too busy looking at Lin, and then to Kya, who now at a second glance did have a new betrothal necklace. One that had Lin's impeccable bending skills all over it.
"Lin are you... oh my god!" Su cheered, jumping up to hug her sister. "You're getting married?" Lin stood stiff in her sisters grip, patting Su on the back until she was released.
"Yeah, I mean I thought that was obvious." Su ignored her passive aggression, smiling at Kya who winked at her older brother across the room.
"Kya you... how?" Kya laughed, placing a hand on Su's shoulder.
"It just happened. These last what, fourteen, fifteen years, have been the-"
"FIFTEEN YEARS?" everyone shouted and Lin plugged her ears.
"Ow. Spirits you don't have to be so loud."
"You've been together for fifteen years?" Pema asked, finally setting down the beverage tray.
"Yeah. Honestly, I don't know how no one picked up on it." Kya said, "except Bumi."
"How'd Bumi know?" Kai asked.
"Thats... not for young ears to hear." Kya replied, causing the two of them to blush. Su sat down, her head rushing with thoughts. Her sister had been seeing someone for fifteen years and she had no idea. Some sister she was. She wasn't sure how she felt about the secrecy, but she shoved whatever feelings those were aside and focused on how happy she was for her sister.
___________________________________________
Kya flopped onto the sofa next to her fiance, the effects of the wine fading and leaving her feeling tired.
"That was a lot." She said to Lin, who was already half asleep next to her.
"Agreed, way to much."
"But it feels good, doesn't it?" Lin opened her eyes, looking at the beautiful girl beside her.
"It feels amazing, Kya." Kya kissed her her lips tasted like wine, she didn't mind totally, but she preffered the authentic Lin.
"Lin, I can't wait to marry you." She whispered.
"I can't wait either."
"We should do it. Tomorrow?" Lin looked to her.
"What?"
"Lets go to city hall, and get someone to do it."
"You don't want a big wedding? What about your mom?" Kya sighed, leaning back.
"Mom will understand. Besides, after today I realized that I just want it to be the two of us. Like its always been." Lin leaned over, kissing her.
"Okay, but we're not getting married in city hall. I have a plan."
"How could you possibly have a plan?" Lin shrugged, flexing a hand out in front of her.
"I wanted to make sure we had our bases covered." Kys chuckled, kissing her again."
"Thats why I love you, Lin Beifong." She said before nuzzling herself into Lin's shoulder, the two of them falling asleep on the sofa.
Thought it was done? Hehehehehe
"The spirit world?" Kya asked, staring into the beam.
"Yup. Korra recommended it once she got back. I figured we'd honeymoon, but this is better." Kya smiled, and the two stepped into the beam. On the other side was a green field, flowers stretched across for miles, and in the middle, a cottage. Spirits gathered around a table, sipping tea.
"They're here!" The spirits called and Kya looked to Lin, whos face revealed nothing. The door of the cottage swung open and an old man, carrying a tea pot and a saucer smiled at them.
"You're early!" He said over the spirit chatter.
"I'm punctual." Lin replied as the two walked up to him.
"Iroh?" Kya asked, tears forming at the corner of her eyes.
"Its been a long time, Kya," he said, "the last time I saw you... you were this high." He put his hand next to his waist.
"Lin did you-"
"Korra mentioned he was here, during harmonic convergence. I had to see for myself."
"And she couldn't stop coming to see her uncle!" Iroh added, pouring two more cups. Kya looked at her wife to be, who smiled in a way that made her look ethereal. Lin had a connection to this place, different then Jinora's or Tenzin's, but a connection. The one time Kya had been here, it had been whole fully unpleasant. She was starting to think her opinion of it was going to change.
"Well, are we going to stand here all day or is there going to be a wedding?" Iroh asked.
It didn't take them long to get ready, the spirits put a veil of light around them, decorating Kya's hair with flowers and giving Lin a panda lily to give once their vows were done.
"Su's going to loose her mind." Kya said aftwrward, when they sat on the grass.
"She got married without me." Lin argued.
"Fair enough." Kya laid in the grass and Lin joined her.
"I could stay here forever," the waterbender said.
"Me too," Lin replied, holding Kya's hand in hers. "Me too."
Thanks for all the love on this miniseries everyone!!! I really enjoyed it! Anyway, this is the finale, however I will have a bonus short in an upcoming chapter on Watty with strictly Bumi's reaction. As always, thanks for reading!

BTS scenario → you as TXT’s older sister.
pairing: bts x reader ; txt x sister!reader fandom: bts ; txt warnings: language genre: fluff ; crack word count: 1.7k+
a/n: suuuuch a guilty pleasure of mine to write stuff like that so thank you for requesting it bb! I hope you like it ♥
kim seokjin
Jin didn't have a lot of time for going out with friends anymore, unfortunately.
Even dinner was nowadays a luxury he could rarely afford, that's how little time he had on his hands.
But with TXT having debuted, Jin found himself more often than not spending a few hours with them at dinner, even if it was just a snack bar close by. What mattered the most was that he didn’t have to eat alone.
Soobin and him had formed quite a friendship over the last weeks. And tonight, the topic of siblings finally came up.
“My oldest sister is really talented. She's such a good dancer, you know? I used to train with her a lot before I auditioned.”
“Ah, really? You should introduce her to me, I could learn a few things from her,” Jin had chuckled.
The conversation had gone into such depths that Soobin actually really ended up giving Jin your number and Jin, after having had a few drinks too many, ended up texting you.
And the look on his face when he walked into the dance practice room three days later and found you standing there with a big smile on your face, because he had completely forgotten that he had invited you over to help him with his dancing.
“So.. are you ready, Kim Seokjin?”
He gulped down hard.
That should be answer enough.
min yoongi
Yoongi was on his way up to the boss, currently scrolling through some app on his phone when you entered the elevator.
He immediately stood up straighter, something about you intimidated him greatly. And that wasn’t something that he could admit often.
Maybe it was your angry look or the fact that you looked hot as fuck, but whatever it was, he wasn't so cool anymore.
“You look angry,” he remarked.
“I am angry,” you replied, not pressing any other floor. Oh boy, Bang PD had a big storm coming, “People in this industry think they can use young artists for their own benefit. It's disgusting.”
“It's the idol industry, love.”
But calling you ‘love’ wasn't a good move. Not when you were already on the edge of smacking someone.
You turned around and killed him with one look only, Yoongi quickly bowing a little as an apology.
“My brother worked so hard for this,” you said once you had turned around again, your voice now a little less audible, “He shouldn't be treated like this.”
Right! Yoongi thought he had seen you somewhere before, you were the sister of one of the TXT members! He didn't remember whose sister, but he knew you were a family member!
“Are you.. a lawyer then?”
“Yes.”
“Do you have a card or something? You seem like you know what you're doing and I could use a lawyer like you.”
Smooth, Min Yoongi. Fucking smooth. Because you gave him that card, thinking he was only interested in your abilities, when the reality was that he was interested in much more than that.
jung hoseok
Hoseok had only recently started following TXT's private Instagram accounts.
Now, as he was on set and waiting for his make-up and hair to be done, he decided to look through who they were following, just out of curiosity.
And that's when he stumbled across your account.
The childhood pictures made him assume that you were the sister.. the older sister. The sister that grew up to be very very pretty and, from the looks of it, quite successful on her own.
“Do you think I'm too old to just randomly message a girl on Instagram?” Hoseok asked Jimin, who just snorted.
“Hyung.. you're Jung Hoseok. It doesn't matter what age you are, whoever it is that you're messaging will be over the moon.”
Maybe Jimin had over exaggerated a little, because you didn't respond to his message for an entire week.
Hoseok completely forgot that he even messaged you in the first place when you finally replied: “Hey, sorry. I wasn't sure if you were a fake account, so I had to ask my brother first. But how are you?”
Ah.. so that's why the TXT members weren't looking so fondly at him anymore. He wasn't sure if he'd be too happy if one of them messaged his older sister either.
kim namjoon
Namjoon would never purposefully listen in on a private conversation, but even though Kai was trying his hardest to talk quietly, Namjoon could still hear every word.
“I don't care, (Y/N), I don't care that you're my older sister, there is no way I'm going to walk up to my senior and ask him for his number just so I can give it to you! Do you know how embarrassing that is?!”
That made Namjoon chuckle and press himself closer against the wall. Now he wanted to know who you two were talking about.
“No, no, no! Don't tell mom, I'm..- ugh, you're so mean, this is exactly why Lea is my favorite sister and not you.”
Namjoon thought this was a funny and normal conversation that siblings had with each other, he didn't think anything more of it.
But oh boy, his face when Kai walked up to him that same day and told him about you and showed him pictures of you, Namjoon slowly started to realize that this conversation from before had actually been about him.
And he was flattered.
“Sure. Give it to her. I'd love to get to know her.”
From what he heard from before, you sure as hell were an interesting persona and he was so down for anyone that didn't fake their personality because they were famous.
park jimin
Jimin and you had been friends ever since Beomgyu had gotten accepted into BigHit and he had run into you at an office party a few years back.
But that was initially all it was.
Friendship.
It was only recently that things started to get a little out of hand.
One drink was all it took for you two to play truth or dare and well, the next thing you knew was that you woke up in his bed the next morning.
And instead of keeping it a secret, Jimin had decided to come clean to Beomgyu, who, of course, wasn't angry at his senior, but at you.
“Do you know what this looks like? You sleeping with him? It's as if you're doing this for my sake!”
“I'm sorry to disappoint you, little brother, but not everything is about you. I like Jimin. It's as simple as that,” you shrugged.
And it's not like he could do anything to change that.
You were your own person and so was Jimin.
All he could do was stand there and watch as you two grew closer and closer.
And he didn't like it one bit.
kim taehyung
You usually stayed as far away from the industry as you possibly could.
Just because Yeonjun was now an idol, didn't mean you had to be in the spotlight too. He didn't even want you to be, he wanted to protect you from that, despite you being the older one.
Nevertheless, this was an important award show for him and while it was usually your parents being there to support him, they couldn't make it today. The thought alone that all of your brother's members would be cheered on by family except for Yeonjun was ultimately the reason that you decided to take the plunge and join him.
They were currently getting ready and you had come late, so you had missed the rest of the family members.
Not knowing where to go, you just decided to hang out in front of their green room and wait for your brother, especially because you still had to wish him good luck for his upcoming performance.
You were so focused on your phone that you didn't notice someone suddenly leaning against the wall next to you.
“Bang PD didn't say anything about a new intern.”
“That's because I'm not a new intern,” you said, still not looking up from your phone, “I'm also not a crazy fan, in case you were afraid of that. I'm Yeonjun's sister.”
“Ah.. I get why he's so secretive about you.”
When you looked up, you didn't flinch because of who it was. You just smiled a little as you noticed him biting down on his lip, his eyes traveling down to your own lips, “Are you flirting with me?”
“I'm trying, but it's not working, I think,” Taehyung chuckled.
“Ah, you're here!” Yeonjun said with a big smile, then bowed when he saw Taehyung, “Hyung?”
“Your 'hyung' is currently trying to ask me out,” you smirked.
“No, wait, I wasn't..-” but what was more offensive to Yeonjun? The fact that he was, or that he maybe wasn't, because why wouldn't he? You were pretty, intelligent and funny, “Okay, I was.”
“Uh.. well, I..-” your brother rubbed the back of his neck, clearly uncomfortable about this situation, but you took pity on the poor guy and wrapped an arm around his shoulder.
“Come on. Let's go to the stage together.”
Taehyung was a little disappointed then, but not for long. Because a day later, he got a message from Yeonjun with a phone number and: “I don't like this one bit, but she's my older sister so I have to do whatever she says. Please don't hurt her, hyung.”
Ah, so you were interested after all.
jeon jeongguk
It was so freaking early, nobody in their right state of mind should be up and working at this point.
But Jeongguk was walking, not quite awake yet, into the practice room and threw down his gym bag.
They had just started working on their newest choreography and he wanted to be one of the first to nail it.
He was just about to put on the song when someone walked in with two cups of coffee.
Someone he didn’t know.
“Here, drink this, it'll..- Oh!” your eyes widened, quickly bowing, “Sorry, wrong room.”
“Who are you?” Jeongguk narrowed his eyes at you, “Staff usually isn't working this early.”
“I'm.. not staff. I'm Taehyun's sister. He's practicing and I'm worried about him, so I stopped by before I have to go to work.”
Jeongguk looked at you for a moment, then he let out a laugh, “Boy, he's lucky to have you as his sister. I don't have anyone bringing me drinks and snacks in the morning because they're worried about me.”
The conversation didn't last any longer than that, you quickly made your way into the next practice room you could find where your brother was already dancing.
Jeongguk continued on with his day like he usually did.
The next morning, however, he was surprised to find a smoothie and a sandwich in front of the mirror with a piece of paper saying: “Eat and drink this. You'll need strength :)”
And he could have sworn that he had fallen in love right there and then.

Grown Up
Happy belated Thanksgiving🦃! I wanted to post this before or on the actual day, but time got the best of me. Hope you guys like it!
Pairing: Chris EvansxBlack Reader
⚠️: None, all fluff☺️!
Following the delicious smell of ham, turkey, dressing, and other Thanksgiving dishes, River’s stomach growls peeking on his tip toes over the table at the various foods spread across it. Ever since the three of you flew in the day before, he couldn’t wait to dig into all his favorite foods and eat until his little belly felt swollen.
“Mommy, can we eat now?,” he asks as you walk by with yet another dish in your hands to put on the table.
“Not yet, but everything’s almost done. I’ll come get you when it’s time okay?”
“Kay.” Sighing, he makes his way to the living room hearing his cousins going back and forth as they shout out random directions leaving him confused.
“What’s that?,” he asks standing beside his two older cousins, Nick and Kira, sat on the leather ottoman.
“Fortnite,” Nick answers not taking his eyes off the screen in front of him. “No! Don’t go that way, meet me by the lake.”
Watching the animated characters jumping and running about as they sporadically built things to hide in, he found himself drawn to the screen and wanting to participate himself since they seemed to be having so much fun laughing and high-fiving as a different character disappeared.
“Can I play?”
“Um maybe later River, we still got a while before this game ends,” Kira answers taking a break to push her glasses higher on her nose before returning to her hurried button mashing as an armed group approaches them.
“When’s that?”
“We don’t know.”
“Why?”
“Because-dang! Quick revive me!”
“I am! River go sit down, we gotta focus. Plus your mom and dad may not even want you playing since you’re too little.”
“Am not,” he pouts crossing his arms across his chest.
“Are too, you’re only four. This game is for big kids like us,” Nick countered making River even more upset.
“I’m big boy too!”
“And I’m tired of y’all going back and forth!,” another one of his older cousins, Mary, interjects from the couch with her feet propped up. “I’m having an important conversation over here.”
“What important conversation? You’re just talking to your boyfriend,” Kira teases making her roll her eyes before placing the phone back up to her ear.
Clearly his cousins wouldn’t be letting him play anytime soon.
So with a huff, he turns around heading back to the kitchen until he hears groans and cheers erupt from the basement, where those who weren’t helping in the kitchen watched the football game.
Carefully stepping down the steps while holding onto the railing, he finds his dad, oldest cousins, uncles, and some aunts all spread out in chairs and on the sectional couch chatting about the last play as they drank from red plastic cups.
“Hey bubs!,” Chris smiles patting his knee for him to join him. “You okay?”
Lifting his arms so he could be picked up, he shrugs his shoulders playing with his father’s bigger hand.
“What’s wrong?”
“I can’t play.”
“Play what?”
“For tight.”
“For tight?,” he asks raising an eyebrow. “What is that?”
“A game daddy. You jump and and hide and go bye.”
Before he could press any further on this very unique sounding game, the loud cheers steal his attention as he looks up to see a 49ner’s player run an intercepted ball in for a touchdown making him groan and River cover his ears from the commotion.
“Chris you might as well give it up man, the Pats not coming back anytime soon,” your younger brother, Carter, smirks sipping from his cup.
“I wouldn’t get too cocky yet. Remember we’re the top team at second half comebacks,” he retorts matching his smirk.
“You mean you were the top team. Now that your precious Brady is gone y’all haven’t had too many comebacks.”
“Okay yea losing Brady was a bit of a hit, but we’re still good! We just gotta get use to the new quarterback.”
“Hm are you really still good though?,” Carter asks cocking his head to the side.
“Like the niners are doing any better! You have the same record as us!”
Rather than sit and listen to his dad and uncle argue over teams, he hops down eventually meeting you halfway up the steps.
“Food ready now?”
“Yes sweetheart everything’s ready and you can eat,” you giggle watching him excitedly bounce up and down. “And everyone else in here, food is done! Come eat!”
“Mommy, I sit with you and daddy?”
“No bubs, you sit at the kids table with your cousins remember? Like last year.”
“I want to be with you and daddy.”
“Sorry love, there’s not enough room at the big table. Daddy and I won’t be far away though.”
Following you up the stairs and to the dining room, he wished the kid table never existed. All of his cousins were older than him by at least six years, so he felt alone as they tapped on their phones and told jokes only they understood. Not that they completely ignored him, it’s just their conversation with him wasn’t as long as the conversations they had with each other. As he watched you, Chris, and the other adults talking and laughing he wasn’t really in the mood for food anymore and wished the three of you were back at the hotel, or home even.
“Ma, we’re going outside to play!,” one of his cousins excitedly announced as they rose from their seats at the kids table barely pushing their chairs in.
“Aht! Did y’all throw away your trash first?,” his aunt Jackie asked making Kira sigh clearly wishing they could be outside already.
“Yes.”
“Alright go ahead, and be careful,” she answers as the older kids rush outside.
“Mommy I play too?,” River asks walking over to squeeze between you and Chris.
“Sure sweetie. After I’m finished we can go play.”
“No mommy, play with them.”
“Oh,” you reply looking outside to see the bigger kids, and a couple of the adults splitting up into teams as a football was casually tossed back and forth. “I don’t know River, they’re playing football and-,”
“I like football!,” he beams making you giggle.
“I know bubs, but you’re smaller than your cousins and I don’t want you getting hurt.” At your words, his smile falls and head hangs slightly. You, his dad, and even his grandparents always told him how he was such a big boy now, so why he couldn’t do these things not only confused him, but made him frustrated.
“But I’m a big boy...”
Turning on his heels, he stomps to the living room throwing himself on the couch hiding his head in one of the furry throw pillows beside him.
“You know mommy is just trying to look out for you right River?,” he hears as Chris approaches his spot on the couch, eventually squatting down beside him.
“Yes,” he sniffles turning to look at his father with red tinted eyes.
“Your cousins play a little rougher than what we play in the yard at home bud. That’s probably not a game a four year old should be in.”
“I wish I was old.” Softly chuckling, he wipes his son’s tears before leaning over to kiss his forehead.
“I know it seems fun, but trust me when I tell you to stay a kid for as long as you can. Honestly, I wish I was little like you again.”
“Really?”
“Yep,” he nods. “Being little comes with a lot more perks than you think. Like you can get all the toys, sleep in as much as you want, and you don’t have to worry about bills.”
“Bills?,” River asks sitting up.
“Yea they suck. Like how you feel about going to the dentist every year.”
“Ohh, yea bills are the worst,” he agrees shaking his head and making Chris laugh. “You can play games though. I can’t.”
There’s momentary silence as River fiddles with his hands and Chris looks at his son, taking his time to think how he could make everything better.
“Come with me,” he smiles holding his arms out so River could wrap his around his neck attaching himself to his dad.
“Hey, everything okay?,” you ask as they enter the dining room.
“Almost, I have an idea though that might help.”
“Chris...?”
“Trust me, it’s nothing crazy,” he chuckles kissing your cheek before heading out the back to meet with those playing in the yard.
———
Now finished helping wash the dishes and putting away the leftover food, you step outside in search of your two boys who surely had to be tired after spending over an hour outside. Plus with it getting late, you wanted to get back to the hotel before dark.
Sticking your head out the door, you see Chris and River running from one tree to the other trying not to be seen by everyone else playing. After whispering in his ear, Chris darts out shooting his Nerf gun at Kira and Nick each trying to reach the flag in the middle of the yard.
“Freeze! I got you!”
“Dangit!”
“That’s it, next round Chris is on my team.”
“Not if I get him first!”
As the two kids argue, River manages to dodge the shots from his other cousins reaching the flag and excitedly jumping up and down as he holds it over his head.
“Look! I got it daddy!,” River smiles as his dad jogs over to pick him up smiling himself.
“I see bubs! Good job!”
“Chris! River! You guys ready?,” you shout turning their attention towards the house.
“Mommy, I got the flag!,” River shouts back waving the bright orange, flimsy plastic in front of him.
“I see, congrats love! You guys ready to go? It’s getting late.”
“Aw do they have to leave already auntie Y/N? What about one more round?,” Nick asks wiping the sweat from his forehead.
“She’s right guys it’s getting late, we can pick it up tomorrow though,” Chris replies as they groan.
“Fine, we’ll play again tomorrow. This was a cool game idea River!,” Kira smiles giving him a high-five.
“Yea! It’s like our own version of Fortnite,” Nick adds making his little cousin shyly smile setting his forehead on his Chris’ shoulder.
Giving hug filled goodbyes to your remaining family members still hanging around, the three of you eventually get in your car ready to return to the hotel so you could get ready for bed. Not even 10 minutes in your ride, the sound of soft snores cause you to turn around finding your son peacefully sleeping with head slumped forward.
“Looks like your idea also tired him out,” you giggle. Peeking in the rear view mirror, Chris softly chuckles before letting out a short yawn himself. “Oh, is it past your bedtime too?”
“Um, did you just call me old?,” he smirks with hand on his chest.
“No of course not. I’d never disrespect my elders like that,” you tease causing him to gasp extending his arm to tickle your side. Covering your mouth to avoid waking River with your laughs, you’re finally able to push his hand away after a couple tries. “Stahp!”
“Don’t call me old.”
“I didn’t, I said elder which you technically are being older than me.”
“Well...then...don’t allude to me being or getting old. That’s not nice,” he pouts as he puts the car in park, turning to look at you with those heart melting blue eyes.
“I sowy. Forgive me?” Watching you bat your lashes trying to seem as innocent as you could, he can’t help but laugh bringing your face closer to his.
“Hmm...I guess,” he smiles pecking your lips.
“And thank you for fixing everything with River.”
“Babe you don’t have to thank me. It’s just part of my job being the world’s best dad,” he shrugs nonchalantly.
“And right now, most annoying,” you joke kissing his lips one more time.

to the far away land || choi yeonjun
sequel of day 4 of 31 days of christmas with ydale
find day 4 ‘your wish is my command’ here!
pairings: yeonjun x reader
genre: royalty!au, fantasy!au, fluff and angst(?)
warning: prince yeonjun being a rebel, chaotic christmas celebration, but all hail the royal couple! and this one is kinda long because i kinda got excited HAHAHAH
“hyung! you’re crazy!” prince soobin warned his older brother. he couldn’t believe that prince yeonjun is going to run away with y/n tonight. that is the least thing prince soobin is expecting prince yeonjun to decide on, to abandon the throne and leave his future kingdom and soon-to-be-bride.
tonight is christmas night and supposedly prince yeonjun’s coronation since yeonjun already turned 21 this year, the king decided to give his first son the throne since the king is already aging and just want to watch his kingdom strive under the hands of his son.
“hyung, what is mother and father going to think? you’re going to abandon the throne.” soobin pulled his brother’s shoulders to face him. yeonjun is currently packing his gold and some clothes so he could arrive early and wait for y/n at the garden.
yeonjun sighed and gave soobin a blank look, “that’s the reason why i told you. you should take the throne.” soobin’s jaw dropped at how easily yeonjun gave up his throne for him. soobin blinked a few times before letting go of yeonjun’s shoulders.
soobin sat down on yeonjun’s bed and yeonjun continued packing his bags. “you’re really gonna leave us?” soobin looked at yeonjun with defeat. no matter how much he’d stop his brother, the older one lad would win anyway.
the older prince looked at his younger brother with soft eyes. yeonjun pulled the younger one up and gripped soobin’s padded shoulders, they stared at each other before yeonjun giving soobin a warm embrace, an embrace that seemed like a farewell.
“once me and y/n settle down at our new home, i’ll visit from time to time. i can’t just disappear from you and the little brothers forever, i love you boys a lot.” yeonjun finally patted soobin’s back and gave him a small smile.
“you deserve the throne. you’re more collected, calm and a better leader than i am. yes, we have our own capabilities, but you have to believe in yourself, soob. you got this.” soobin sighed and closed his eyes.
“if you need me there from your new home, just send a letter or pay a visit, i’ll be coming in no time.” soobin gave his older brother a reassuring smile before giving each other their one last embrace.
after soobin helped yeonjun finish to pack up, their three younger brothers barged in the room to check up on them.
“hyung! the party is about to start in a moment-- why are you not dressed?” prince taehyun raised his brows while looking at the pink haired prince. yeonjun looked at soobin and soobin looked back and sighed.
“alright boys, here’s the deal...” soobin started.
as soobin was about to gently and calmly announce the news, yeonjun abruptly blurted his plans without hesitation, he needed to leave in a bit and he didn't have much time to chitchat. “i’m leaving tonight. no crowned king yeonjun, just crowned king soobin...” yeonjun looked at soobin again, “and i’ll be settling with y/n, far away from here.”
it took a moment for the three younger guys to give their eldest brother a response. not knowing what to say, taehyun’s jaw is just wide open while staring at yeonjun meanwhile beomgyu and kai’s eyes are questioning yeonjun’s decision.
“you’re doing what?!” beomgyu screamed. “ssHHH! don’t scream.” yeonjun covered beomgyu’s mouth.
“you didn’t just say you’re leaving the kingdom?” kai asked, “yes. yes, i just did.” yeonjun answered back.
“how about father and mother? the crown, the throne? your marriage with princess yuri?” taehyun asked with panic in his eyes. yeonjun just massaged his temples and sighed. “look, i’ve already thought this through. soobin is gonna take the throne and--”
“and soobin is gonna marry princess yuri?” taehyun stared at yeonjun.
well, yeonjun DID thought everything through with the coronation and the throne being passed to soobin. but he clearly didn’t think the marriage aspect through at all.
yeonjun nervously looked at soobin and soobin was just staring at taehyun. “you’re right...” yeonjun whispered.
beomgyu’s palm met his own face and he shook his head, “oh no what have you done.”
“so where’s y/n?” kai asked. “they’re supposed to be waiting for me at the garden in a few. i really don’t have much time, i need to go.” yeonjun looked at his clock and grabbed his bag.
“you’re just really... gonna leave like that?” beomgyu asked his eldest brother.
before hopping out from the balcony, yeonjun stopped and looked back at his brothers. then it hit him, the four boys dressed up nicely for his coronation, hair neatly pulled back, shoes polished and expecting that yeonjun will be the one who’s going to handle the kingdom and he would be the reason why the kingdom will strive.
yeonjun dropped his bags on the floor and walked slowly towards his brothers. he hugged them one by one, feeling guilty but this is what he wanted, to live normally.
finally, he looked at all four of them collectively and took them in a group hug. “hyung is sorry.” was all he said, he wanted to cry but he didn’t want them to see him in his weak state.
really, he thought about this through. as much as he wanted to stay for his brothers and he loved his kingdom so much, he didn’t think he’d be a good fit for the throne, but he didn’t want to get married by some princess he never met. although he didn’t mean to put soobin in this situation, he knew soobin will handle it better than he would.
“i’m sorry for putting you guys into this much trouble. i love you all.” he whispered, giving each of his brothers a one last forehead kiss.
he looked at the clock one last time before realizing he doesn’t have much time, he ran to the balcony and grabbed his bag. “tell mother and father that i’m sorry and i love them!” he yelled.
before the four other princes could say anything, prince yeonjun already jumped over the balcony and ran towards his horse.
you used your wings to fly to the garden, you figured flying there would be much quieter and saves you trouble although you left some fairy dust on the area.
when you got to the garden, you set your bag on one of the benches and you picked a few flowers so you can keep and cherish it since you don’t know whether you’ll be returning to the palace at all. you fiddled on the petals and smelt it, you then looked outside and you saw how the palace was lit up by colorful lights and you could hear baroque music from a far.
you looked down and questioned yourself if this was really a great idea. you’ve worked for the king and the queen for more than five years and you wanted to stay loyal, but you guess your deep emotion for yeonjun has taken over your morals.
you sat on the bench and you sighed. you’re hoping that everything will work out and that you and the prince will live a happy life far away from here.
you were disrupted from your thoughts when the prince’s shadow took over your tiny body. you looked up and even though it’s dark, you saw how he shines through the darkness. although he wasn’t wearing his formal royal clothes, he still looked very good, handsome as ever.
you saw how his eyes gleamed over the darkness, you loved that about him. how his eyes sparkled every time he looks at you, how he holds you as if you’re the most delicate flower, how he whispers sweet things to you like no other.
you stood up and opened your mouth, you wanted to ask him if he was really sure but nothing wants to come out from your lips. you looked outside and it seemed like the event was about to start as you saw the palace’s light inside turn brighter.
“i don’t think we should do this.” you said. yeonjun’s brows met and he shook his head, “what are you saying? we’ve already come into an agreement, we’re doing this.” he fought. he held your hands and he kissed it.
“we’re going to be fine, i swear. i’ll do everything just to make you feel better, just please, come with me.” you saw how his eyes pleaded you, you saw how tears piled up on his eyeball but you just looked at him, still unsure.
you looked down but you hugged him, you wrapped your arms around his neck and you played with his hair, “i just want what’s the best for you. i’m not capable of giving you rich, i’m just a fairy who does magic for a living, heck, yeonjun you’re a prince, you deserve better than being with a fairy.” you looked up while still hugging him.
you felt his hand gently run over your sparkling wings, it fluttered from the tickling sensation and yeonjun giggled.
“why are you suddenly doubting?” he whispered and he let go of your wings, he hugged you by your waist and he dug his face on the crook of your neck. “i want my best with you. we’re capable of doing things together, i don’t need rich, we can have a decent life together without needing riches. and i deserve you, i deserve being with the love of my life.” he muttered on your skin.
your heart softened, he really is eager to be with you. you cupped his cheek and you played the staring game for a few seconds before you leaning in to give him a deep kiss. “i love you.” you whispered in the kiss. he hummed and pulled away. “i love you too.”
you both heard ‘so this is love’ playing from the palace. he laughed and stretched out his arm, “may i have this dance?”
beomgyu couldn’t stop fidgeting from his seat in front of the loud crowd. he’s very anxious of what’s gonna happen next. the maids are currently looking for yeonjun since they need to get him ready for this coronation, and guess what, he’s the only person that everyone is waiting for.
the music ‘so this is love’ is currently playing to keep guests entertained while the chaos behind the hall occurs.
taehyun sat next to the chair next to beomgyu and leaned to his brothers. “mother and father hasn’t seemed to notice that hyung is missing yet.” he whispered through the loud music. kai chuckled and looked at the crowd and scanned through it.
“well, let’s hope they already fled.” kai hoped, although he felt a little disappointed in his eldest brother, he still wanted to support him from doing whatever he wanted in life.
“let’s hope they don’t get caught.” beomgyu runs his hands over his face. “where’s soobin-hyung?” beomgyu asked taehyun.
“he’s talking to father, i think he’s trying to distract him, he looked nervous tho.” taehyun said while pointing to his right, seeing soobin talking to their father and some lords from the other kingdom.
“what do you mean you can’t find yeonjun?!” the queen yelled behind the three boys. they turned around to see their mother panicked with a red face of anger at the maids and guards. the maid then explained that they already looked for yeonjun around the palace but he’s nowhere to be found.
“look again for goodness sake! we need him here right now. he needs to be crowned within an hour!” the queen demanded, “we looked several times your majesty, still, no prince yeonj--” the maid was cut off by a guard that just came in.
“your highness, prince yeonjun’s horse is missing from the stables.” the guard yelped. the queen quietly cursed under her breath and gritted her teeth. she looked around to gather ideas how they were going to find the first prince until she realized something.
“what-- hold on, where’s y/n?” the queen finally asked.
you and yeonjun danced in the dark with the muffled music playing from the palace. you were glad that was the thing you’re sharing with your last moments here at his kingdom.
“we need to go, they might see us. they’re probably looking for you by now.”
yeonjun gave you a quick peck before pulling you to grab your bags and hopping on to his horse and fleeing to start our journey together, alone, just the two of you.
“let’s go, we don’t want to be held back from our trip.”
“your highness, king choi, prince yeonjun is missing.” the king’s right hand whispered to the king. the king looked at his right hand as if he was kidding. soobin overheard their conversation and he nervously swallowed his own saliva.
the king laughed loud while holding his stomach, “no need for jokes, mateo, tell yeonjun he needs to be here, his bride is waiting for him.” the king pointed at the sophisticated princess who is standing right across prince soobin. princess yuri blushed and looked away.
“your highness, i’m not making jokes. the prince really is missing.” the king glared at mateo and mateo just gently backed off a bit because everyone knows what the king is about to do, scream on top of his lungs.
“WELL LOOK FOR HIM!” and with that, mateo and the guards went on to look for prince yeonjun. the queen walked aggressively towards the king and whispered to him. “y/n is also missing. i haven’t seen them since the event began.” the queen pulled the king to the side while soobin tried to entertain princess yuri.
“is prince yeonjun really... missing?” princess yuri asked prince soobin. soobin just looked away and let off a breath. “i’m not sure, i haven’t seen him.” he simply said and gave a small smile.
“oh, i was really looking forward to meeting him. i heard he was attractive and lovely.” princess yuri smiled under her breath. soobin looked at the princess, he couldn’t help but to feel bad, however, he knew that his brother doesn’t want to be betrothed other than y/n.
“what if he really is missing?” he asked the princess. “what?” the princess asked back.
“i mean, like i said, i haven’t seen him-- that doesn’t mean that he really is missing. i was just asking what if he really is missing... and you don’t get the chance to meet him?” soobin was straight forward with his question. he knew his brother is not gonna come back, especially he’s not going to come back to marry the princess.
“uhm, i don’t know? i’ll be sad of course. i would be worried about why he disappeared.” the princess answered. soobin just let of a small oh before looking at his parents.
both the queen and the king are panicking and giving orders to all the guards and maids possible to check every corner of the palace. soobin sighed one last time before excusing himself to talk to his parents.
“if you may excuse me, princess.” he walked towards his parents and he nervously tapped his father’s shoulders.
“what is it, soobin?” his father said annoyed. he knew whatever he was gonna say wouldn’t make sense to his father’s ears but he had to do it because yeonjun is not going to come back anytime sooner to be the king.
“m-may i talk to you, father?” soobin asked his father. his father just ignored him and continued on giving orders to mateo. “father, please, listen.” he pleaded with his father. his father raised his left hand and warned his second son.
“soobin, i don’t have any time for this. your older brother is missing and he’s going to be crowned in 30 minutes, what do you not unders--”
“father, he’s not gonna come back.” soobin finally said. this caused the whole crowd to gasp and a series of silence occupied the hall. soobin looked around the hall and back to his father.
“father, we should take this to--” soobin was cut off by the king. “what do you mean he’s not coming back?” that’s it, he knew his father was angry. he knew that if yeonjun comes back, he would be beheaded by the king himself.
“please, let’s talk this out in your office.”
“do not tell me that rascal fled with that fairy.” the king gripped on soobin’s shoulders. it was painful, but he didn’t want to show any sign of weakness to his father. he wanted to come out strong like a king should be. he wanted to prove his father that he is capable of being a king just like his elder brother.
“father, please. let’s go to your office.” soobin gently held his father’s tensed hands and pulled it off his shoulder. he guided his father to the royal office.
the king sat on his massive chair before massaging his forehead. it took a moment for the two to start speaking again. soobin is scared for his life, and his brother’s life. he didn’t want anyone to get hurt. most especially his brother, soobin is sacrificing his own life for his brother’s happiness.
“did he flee with y/n, prince soobin?” the king finally asked, looking at his son. soobin just bit his lip and looked down. not giving any answers, the king became impatient and slammed the table.
“answer me, soobin!” the king screamed. soobin shut his eyes. “yes.” finally, soobin spoke. “yes, he did.”
soobin swore he didn’t want to tell his father, but he thought it was the best thing to do. he didn’t know what to do, this is new to him. being interrogated is new to him. he never even stepped inside a royal courtroom, it was always yeonjun. but he knew he could do it.
“so you’re telling me yeonjun left just for that fairy?” his angry father asserted. “what are they going to do good for him? their magic? is their magic going to feed the prince? tell me soobin, why?” the king stood up and walked towards soobin.
“who would be the king?” the king finally asked. finally letting out a defeated sigh.
soobin second guessed himself. he didn’t think he’d be a good fit to be a king, he didn’t think he’s trained properly to be the next king since he was overshadowed by his elder brother most of the time, but with perseverance and will, he can be the next best king.
“ah-- i’d be the king.” soobin said. the king looked at soobin as if his son is going insane, one brow raised and arms are now crossed. “you? be the king?” the king had to check twice whether he heard the right thing or what not.
soobin straightened up from his father’s question. the king walked closer to soobin and walked around him to examine the second prince. soobin is much taller than the king and his physique is perfect, he’s also smart and very much capable of being a leader.
the king stopped behind soobin, soobin heard his father give off a very deep breath and patted his back. “don’t fail me. don’t fail me unlike your brother. i’m going to postpone the engagement with princess yuri, but you will be crowned tonight.”
few years into the future, yeonjun settled in a tiny cottage with y/n in the far away land. they are surrounded with fields, plants and animals. no outsiders tried to bother them at all since the couple lives a few miles away from the town. the kingdom, however, is many miles away and although the royal guards have been looking for the missing prince since then, he’s still unseen from the kingdom.
the couple lived happily together and married few months after they fled the kingdom. they enjoyed every moment they spent together. yeonjun decided to farm and tend the animals for a living, y/n on the other hand became a healer just like their mother. the couple would often visit the town to heal needy citizens or even sell crops to the people.
“yeonwoo! come back here!” you screamed to call your three year old son. you’re trying to feed your son but he keeps running away from you to go to his father. at the same time, you’re trying to stop your four-month-old baby daughter from crying in your arms.
“shhh... it’s okay jiyeon, you don’t need to cry, i’m here.” you cooed at your daughter. your baby finally stopped from crying and you saw your husband pushing your son towards you.
“did you try to run away from your food again? not today, buddy.” yeonjun petted yeonwoo’s hair. you saw your son give his best puppy eyes and pout to his father, and it didn’t work. “not working today, bud. you need to eat, here lemme feed you.” yeonjun took the bowl in front of you and fed your three year old.
you smiled at the sight while swaying your daughter. you never imagined your life being like this. you’ve always thought of being wedded to another fairy and work for the palace until you retire. but through your prayers and wishes, you married your first and only love, prince yeonjun.
a year into your marriage you gave birth to a beautiful baby boy and named his yeonwoo. he is a half fairy half human but he does not have fairy wings, he is a clone of his father, yeonjun and yeonwoo looks exactly the same. yeonwoo is yeonjun’s mini version. meanwhile, yeonwoo only inherited your pointed ears from your physical appearance however, you could already see his capability on following your footstep as a powerful fairy.
you then gave birth to another child, which is jiyeon, and you could already tell your similarities with your daughter at a young age. she is your little fairy. jiyeon took your pointed ears and your wings, but, she still looks like his father.
“i received a letter from the kingdom.” yeonjun started after finishing feeding yeonwoo. your heart dropped from his revelation which caused you to quickly whip your head to his direction.
“they found us?” you asked, worried about the next outcome. “well, technically no cause i got the letter when i was in town. heeseung handed the letter to me.” your husband lifted the letter from his vest and opened it to show to you.
“king soobin wants us to visit him.” yeonjun smiled and walked towards you. he wrapped his arms around your sitting body and hugged both you and your daughter. “he wants to see us after being away for so long.” he kissed your forehead before cupping your cheeks and lifting your face.
“should we go?” he asked and sat in front of you.
you cradled your daughter tighter and pursed your lips. “are we going to be in trouble? y’know, your mother and father…” you asked him quietly.
your son walked towards you and caressed his sister’s face, your daughter laughed from her older brother’s action which caused yeonwoo to giggle. “look mama/dada, she’s happy.” your son cooed at jiyeon.
you smiled at the sight. it made you realize the love your son and your daughter have for each other. the sibling love that you can not take away from people. you looked at your husband and you saw him smiling at your children.
you thought the longing feeling yeonjun has for his brothers, after being apart for so long, you know yeonjun wants to see his brothers and parents badly. you can’t just take away your husband’s family for him especially they are really close with each other.
you reached to yeonjun’s cheeks and rubbed it, you smiled at him and held his hands. “yes. yes, we will go.”
yeonjun gave you a cheeky smile and intertwined his finger with yours, lifting your hand and giving it a kiss.
“thank you, love.” he said and hugged you, your daughter and your son. “yeonwoo, jiyeon, do you want to see your grandfather, grandmother and uncles?” yeonjun asked your children.
yeonwoo raised his arms and jumped, “yes! yes! we go tomorrow!” your son innocently scream out of excitement.
“you heard him, we’re going tomorrow.” yeonjun said before giving you a kiss.
“fine prince yeonjun, your highness.” you teased before standing up and getting your luggage ready.

Dinner With Friends
This Is Day 10 Of Roleplay May
Words: 3034
Warnings: Smut, Teasing, Jealous Damon, Biting, Damon Drinking Blood, Secret Relationship. Think That’s It.
Characters: Damon Salvatore, Reader, Stefan Salvatore, Bonnie Bennett, Caroline Forbes, Alaric Saltzman, Lexi and Tyler Lockwood
Pairing: Damon Salvatore x Reader
Summary: When Caroline and Stefan decide to throw a getting to know you party for the reader, she and Damon are forced to cooperate. But with their secret relationship going on in the back ground, will Damon be able to keep his jealous tendencies at bay, will the two of them be able to stop their wandering hands.
A/N: This is also for my girl @lettersofwrittencollective‘s and her 1000 Followers challenge. Congratulations my girl! So very well deserved, I hope you enjoy it! Love you Nat! <3 My prompt was ‘We have to be quiet’
Staying with the Salvatore’s was interesting to say the least. Nothing was ever boring, witches, vampires and werewolves were the most sane things in Mystic falls, especially these days. Tonight wasn’t likely to be any different, Caroline had decided to throw a party to introduce you to everyone, with Stefan’s help. No matter how much you and Damon had refused to be involved, here you were helping Caroline and Bonnie set the table while the boys cooked up a storm in the kitchen.
As annoying as it was to have your plans disrupted, Caroline and Bonnie were really sweet and they’d been nothing but nice to you since the day you’d met them. As far as you knew you were only waiting on three other people to arrive. Tyler Lockwood who was a werewolf as it turned out, Alaric who was human and Damon’s best friend. Then there was Lexi, Stefan’s best friend who had helped him through some of his hardest times, she was a vampire.
You were feeling a little overwhelmed with the prospect of meeting all of these new people. Placing the last fork on the table, you watch Stefan walk into the dining room and wrap his arms around Caroline and the girls fall into an easy conversation with him, giving you the perfect escape route. You slip out of the room immediately bumping into a solid chest, you look up finding those gorgeous blue eyes looking down at you.
Grabbing your hand he pulls you into the kitchen.
“Well, fancy bumping into you,” he smirks down at you, licking those lips that you dream about.
You drag him into the pantry and close the door behind you.
“This is a stupid idea Damon! I cannot do this!” you confess frustration clearly thick in your voice.
“Again with this princess, I’ve already told you. Yes, it’s stupid and I want nothing more than to drag you up those stairs and fuck you good and hard,” he bites his lip as you press up against him, placing a firm hand on your hip. “But, since things are already in motion, we just need to put up with it, until later. Or until I get bored.” he reasons running his fingers through your hair giving an experimental tug when he leans in closer.
“Damon, come on don’t talk like that, you know what it does to me,” you pout his lips drag across your jaw, until they’re pressed against your ear, teeth dragging over your earlobe.
“Wait until dinner if you think i’m being unfair now. Maybe I should have a bite” he says as his tongue licks along the thick vein pulsing in your neck. When you moan quietly his blunt human teeth drag over the spot that he knows makes your knees week.
“I hate you” you grumble as Damon moves his face to look at you with a raised eyebrow.
“Yeah? You hate this?” he asks hotly against your lips as he pushes one of his thick thighs between your legs, the hand on your hip helps you to roll your hips down into the muscle.
“Quit lying to me princess, we both know just how much you fucking love me and how good I make you feel,” his cocky voice only turns you on even more and God doesn’t he know it.
“Then take me upstairs then you cocky bastard, fuck me and quit being a tease,”
“Oh that’s just adorable. You know I love being a tease, you can wait until I’m ready little one. Now, get out of here before I take you over that table in front of everyone.” he smirks, pecking your lips, chuckling when you growl at him.
Opening the door he gently pushes you out of the pantry, walking closely behind you. You jump as Stefan walks back into the kitchen and Damon’s back presses against you.
“What’re you two up to in here?” he asks confused looking between you and his brother.
“Well little brother, Y/N here was just telling me how bad she wants to get me on my own” Damon smirks at you as he walks past to stir the sauce.
The blush is flaming in your cheeks as Stefan laughs, “Ignore him Y/N, he doesn’t understand that some girls will just never be interested in him. The girls were looking for you by the way,”
Thanking Stefan you leave quickly, ignoring the conversation that starts between the brothers. You make sure to shoot Damon a glare as you walk back into the dining room, where you find everyone already sitting at the table. All the newcomers included.
Caroline is on you as soon as she spots you, wrapping her arm around you she leads you over to a chair between a tall dark and handsome looking guy and Bonnie. You take your seat as the boys walk in with the food, “Dinner is served,” Stefan announced proudly.
The dinner moves along quickly, laughter and conversation flowing. However you’re completely distracted by the blue eyed vampire glaring at you from across the table, which pauses your conversation with Tyler. Who had just asked you something perfectly innocent, though by the look on Damon’s face he may as well have groped you under the table.
“You okay?” the young werewolf asks with a kind smile, resting his hand on your arm.
If looks could kill the man beside you would be dead. The trouble was with you and Damon was that this was half of the fun of your relationship, he was by far one of the most jealous men you’d ever met. You loved winding him up because an angry Damon was a rough and sexy sight to behold, not that it was hard to achieve.
Crossing your legs beneath the table you turn towards Tyler with a smile, “Yeah, I’m okay. I guess I was just a little nervous about tonight. But I have a feeling things are about to turn around.”
“Oh yeah? Why’s that?” Tyler asks leaning in closer. However, just like you’d expected before he gets a little too close. A large hand lands on Tyler’s shoulder, roughly pulling him and his chair back from the table.
“You’re moving. Now” Damon growls as Tyler stands ready to argue, Damon takes his chair and slams it down beside you making you jump a little. You look up at him biting back your smile, watching as he takes the seat and pushes the plate forward.
“O-kay” Caroline says loudly, as Tyler takes the chair by Stefan with a little persuasion.
You can feel Damon’s glare burning into the side of your head as Alaric slides him a bourbon across the table. “I’m Alaric by the way, you can call me Ric,” the older man smiles, shaking your hand. To your surprise Damon doesn’t even twitch beside you, clearly this was a man he trusted, definitely more than Tyler.
“Nice to meet you finally, Ric. I’ve heard a lot about you,” you smile genuinely pleased to meet the hunter.
Things calm down from there as dessert is served, but right as you take your first bite Damon’s hand lands on your thigh and squeezes. Glancing his way you narrow your eyes at him, he just smiles and nods at something Alaric asks, but you’re far too distracted to pay attention to what they’re saying.
Still gripping tightly Damon’s hand drags up your thigh and slips beneath your skirt. Your hands are white knuckling the table as he pulls your legs apart and hooks one over his knee. Noticing that everyone is preoccupied in conversation Damon leans in close, pressing his lips so close to your ear they’re almost touching.
“If he ever touches you again, I’ll rip his fucking head off. I don’t care that you wanna keep us a secret for now. Nobody touches what’s mine, not in front of everyone else and especially not some mangy mutt.”
You turn to look at him with a smile, licking your lips, your hand drops to his lap as you lean in closer pressing a quick kiss to his cheek.
“You know I’m not interested in anyone else. So, how about you let me prove it to you again?” your question seems to peak his interest and that irresistible smirk is back.
You watch his eyes flick around the room making sure the coast is still clear, before focusing back on you again. Dragging his teeth over his bottom lip he glances down at yours.
“Mmmm, okay. I’m listening baby girl,”
Cupping the bulge in his pants you turn back to your drink and take a sip, hearing Damon groan beside you when his fingers move a little higher, brushing against your completely bare center.
“See I told you I listen.” you smile against your glass before placing it back on the table.
“Fuck, no panties all for me princess?” he breathes out, pausing to wink at Ric when he sees him looking.
“Clearly you don’t listen to me though, Salvatore. He knows doesn’t he?” your irritated voice questions and is promptly answered by a shrug and those icy blue eyes glance back into yours.
“How about I make it up to you?” he smirks wiggling those eyebrows at you.
Rolling your eyes at him you sigh. “You’re such a smart ass. Leave it five minutes and then follow my lead.” you tell him quietly, purposely knocking your drink over and soaking yourself. Pulling your leg back from Damon’s you awkwardly stumble backwards out of the chair.
“Oh dammit! I’m so sorry guys, just excuse me for a minute. I should really get this cleaned up,” you rush to explain, practically running from the room before anyone can speak to you. Rushing over to the large staircase you run up to your bedroom and close the door behind you.
Stripping yourself from your soaked clothes, you climb onto your bed naked and lay in the middle, with your back resting against the headboard. You can’t help but think maybe it wouldn’t be a bad thing if people started finding out about the two of you being together, it had been a while now. Besides, whatever you decided Ric seemed like a nice guy and you know Damon will keep respecting your wishes the way he’d proved to you the last few months. Even when things had become more series between the two of you, he’d respected your wishes at every turn.
It’s maybe two minutes before your bedroom door opens and Damon steps inside, closing it quietly behind him. Taking long strides towards you, his piercing gaze never leaving your naked body. You bite back your smile watching Damon’s shirt drop to the floor, quickly followed by his shoes and ass hugging jeans. He vamp speeds towards you and pins you beneath him, wrists trapped under his big hands.
“You look good enough to fucking eat baby girl.” He mumbles into your neck, licking along the pulsing vein under your skin as his hands roam your body, your head drops back into the pillows and a gasp leaves your lips when he bites down on the muscle between your neck and shoulder.
“You’re gonna be the death of me,” you moan out as he sucks a nipple between his lips and drags his teeth over the hardened bud. You can feel the thick length of his hardness pressing into your thigh, as he rocks his hips into you.
“Yeah, probably. But we both know I’ll make you feel good baby girl.”
Damon pushes a hand between your legs and you can’t help the loud moan that leaves your lips. The man above you chuckles, pulling back slightly so he can meet your eyes. A large hand quickly clamps over your mouth as he presses two fingers inside you, a cry of his name is muffled against his hand. “Don’t forget princess. We have to be quiet, unless you want everyone down there knowing about the big bad vampire who’s about to ruin you? Again.” he smirks as his hand leaves your mouth, fingertips trailing down your body, over your stomach where he presses down as your hips arch into his hand and his tongue flicks over your clit.
Your fingers tangle in his thick black locks as he curls his fingers inside you, slowly stroking against the spot inside you that makes your entire body shiver. A needy whimper leaves your lips when he bites your inner thigh with his human teeth.
“Always with the teasing, Damon. You owe me,” you remind him as those blue eyes flick back to yours.
“I fully intend to pay princess” he winks, sealing his lips around your throbbing clit, as his fingers speed up, curling just right with every movement. You’re biting into one of your hands before you know it, the fire licking at every nerve ending as you try to quieten your screams.
“Damon, I can’t. Please” you beg behind your hand.
Damon moans into you when your pussy clamps down around his fingers, then he adds a third finger and with a flick of his wrist your entire body arches into his hand.
“That’s my girl” Damon chuckles as your pussy flutters and clamps uncontrollably around his fingers, his tongue swirls around your clit and his fingers keep moving, helping you through your orgasm until you’re pushing at his head with your hands, too sensitive for anymore.
He crawls back up your body, cocky smirk still intact as he licks his fingers clean. You wrap your arms around his neck as soon as he’s close enough, you kiss him. Tasting yourself on his tongue you pull his thick bottom lip between your teeth, making him groan into your mouth.
“Fuck, I love you. So damn sexy,” he growls as you flip him onto his back in a practised movement.
The rules were the rules in your relationship, Damon knew every time he messed up and you told him he owed you, he really owed you and he did exactly as you asked and exactly as he was told.
Sitting up on your knees you grip his length in your hand, until it’s pressed against your opening. “I love you too baby.” you purr finally lowering yourself down all the way onto his hard waiting cock.
Damon’s hands go straight to your hips, not guiding your movements simply holding onto you tightly. His grip was bruising when you started to move, leaning forward your hands landed on his chest, nails biting at the soft skin as you grind down into him like your life depended on it. His hands move to roughly grip your ass when you start to rise and fall on the thick length inside you, the slap he delivers to your ass only spurs you on.
You pull at his shoulders so he’s sitting with you in his lap, “Fuck princess, you want it bad tonight huh?” Damon grunts as your nails drag down his back hard enough to draw blood, the slap of your skin echoing around the room as you speed up your movements with his help.
“Don’t care anymore. I need it, need you,” you moan loudly as he starts to meet your thrusts with sharp hard movements of his hips as you keep him pulled close. Your teeth drag over his earlobe before you whisper in his ear. “Do it, I know you want to”
Damon’s grip on you tightens, his breath hot against your neck. You can even feel the scrape of his fangs against your skin, causing a shiver to run through your body, “you know what your blood does to me princess, they’re gonna know if i do. You taste like the most incredible bourbon ever made” he moans breathlessly, feeling your walls clamping down around him all over again.
“You mean you’re gonna be blood drunk off your ass? I don’t care what they think anymore, let them know I’m all yours baby” You whimper feeling one of his fangs slice through your skin, the drag of his cool tongue lapping up the falling droplet makes you whine. “Do it” you demand your voice wrecked as you do your best to hold back your orgasm, “You know the rules Damon”
Your reminder does just as you’d planned snapping the only string of self control the vampire beneath you had left. A low growl leaves his throat when he finally sinks his fangs into the pulsing vein in your neck, you let out a pleasured scream, finally getting what you’d been waiting for all week. The band in your stomach snaps immediately, dragging you back over that edge like only he seems able to do.
You’re barely coming down from your earth shattering orgasm when Damon finally gives into his own needs, moaning as your blood fills his mouth and his orgasm hits him hard.
His smooth tongue is soothing over the mark he’s left behind when your hips finally still and your chest is heaving against his. He drops onto his back with you still on top of him, leaning on your forearms on his chest you look down into his gorgeous blue eyes, which are still lidded as he licks his lips. He goes to bite into his wrist but you stop him, “Leave it, I want it there” you smile as he tucks the hair behind your ear which has fallen in your face.
“What have you done to me princess?” he smiles back, that genuine smile that not many people get to see.
“Nothing you don’t deserve” you reply honestly, pressing a chaste kiss to his lips.
“Well keep it up Missy and there’s a round two up for grabs” those wiggling eyebrows of his only make you giggle.
“Oh keep talking Mr Salvatore, I hear that shower calling your name” he reaches for you as you climb off the bed and head towards the on suite.
“You better run then” he grins, vamping off, you squeal as his arms wrap around your waist and he throws you over his shoulder and smacks your ass. “Don’t wanna keep the shower waiting do we baby”

PART 1
PART 3
Endless thoughts plagued your mind as you wandered through the crowded halls. It barely registered with you that Derek could be home and not bother to check in, although maybe it was for the best, you were pretty sure that he was still a wanted man- for a crime you were also sure he didn't commit. You knew Derek, despite the fact that you weren't related by blood you saw each other as family, you knew how he treated his family, it was what he treasured above all else and there was absolutely no way in hell that he had burned his whole family tree to ash.
He and his uncle Peter were the only Hale's left as far as you knew, however saying that Peter was "alive" seemed like a bit of a reach. The man who used to tell you stories and sneak you candy whenever he saw you was completely immobilized now, scarred to the point of being almost unrecognizable, he couldn't talk, he could barely move, he was even being fed through a tube.
Peter was a particularly close friend of your father's, he'd always made you refer to him as 'uncle Peter' and the man did the title justice treating you like one of his own. And while you called him Uncle Peter, he- and the rest of the Hale's- always called you something different; "The littlest of the pack" though you never understood why the family had such an obsession with being known as a pack, you were more than delighted to know that they considered you part of it.
When you were old enough you started volunteering at the hospital which held Peter and after six months of hard work, sweeping hallways and helping the overworked nurses they finally bumped you up to keeping patients company. Since you were still in school you were mostly at the hospital at night and on Sunday mornings, the same time as your favourite nurse, Melissa, who always assigned you to Peter when she was manning the same ward as you. To be honest it was rough seeing him in such a state, it was as though everyone you loved seemed to struggle- the thought alone always made you choke up, made you wish you had some kind of power to take it all away, to make everything better. But you didn't, so you simply read to him, told him about what was happening in the news, stories about what was happening at school as Peter was always one for a good scoop of gossip, you even confided in him about the sharp sting you felt in your chest whenever someone you cared about was in pain, himself included. The logical thing would've been to simply stop visiting him but if you did then he'd barely have any human interaction for the rest of his life and ignoring the fact that he couldn't show it, you knew deep down that he could hear you, felt that he appreciated your visits.
Without even realizing where your feet had been carrying you, too lost in thought to notice, you found yourself nearing Isaac's locker, the boy himself hunched by it, his face hidden by the blue metal door. It was easy to forget over the weekend and after hanging out alone how shy Isaac was, he was a completely different person around you, he was loud, granted he still wasn't as loud as you but he certainly knew how to find his voice, he stood straighter as opposed to how the tall boy stood in the school hallways. To you he stood out, in a perfectly beautiful way, you often chastised him for not giving himself enough credit, always asking if he'd ever even looked in a mirror. Even with your endless compliments that made him blush every time without fail, Isaac still chose to blend in, but you didn't blame him- you blamed his asshole of a father for making him believe he was anything less than wonderful.
It was no secret that Isaac was taller than the average teen in Beacon Hills standing at six foot one, which meant he gave incredible hugs but it also meant he tried his very best to fold into himself in larger crowds and he regularly walked with his head down as to not draw attention to himself, even standing at his locker he bowed his head.
Shaking off your thoughts you walked up to your best friends side, tugging his sleeve softly to alert him of your presence before wrapping your arms around him, enveloping him in a side hug and allowing your head to rest against his arm while he wriggled it out of your grasp to wrap around your waist more comfortably, not paying his burning cheeks and racing heart any mind as he shifted his gaze from organizing his books to the girl clinging to him with a pout on her face, "What's up, buttercup?"
Nuzzling your head further into his side you let out a dramatic sigh, "I heard from Scott that Derek is back in Beacon." Isaac felt his eyebrow raising at the mention of both names, Scott's because you seemed to be hearing a lot of things from him in the last couple of days and at Derek's because he was pretty sure you hadn't seen him in years.
"How would McCall know if Derek's in town? Isn't he pretty much your cousin?" Isaac asked, thumb moving soothingly against your hip as you melted into him, shoulders slumping sadly and your pout only becoming more prominent. His voice sounded slightly aggravated at the mention of Scott but you thought nothing of it, thankfully. Isaac didn't want this to turn into a conversation about his petty jealousy.
"Forget cousin he was more like my big brother. That's what's got me so twisted! Why would he come home and not even bother to check in?" You murmured grumpily against the fabric of the flannel Isaac was sporting instead of his usual cardigan, which reminded you that he couldn't have worn his usual cardigan because you'd forgotten to give it back to him the night before and sported it yourself. The comfy grey material hugging your shoulders as you hugged the boy that the item of clothing actually belonged to.
"When did McCall say he saw him?" Isaac inquired, sorting his books with one hand.
"Yesterday."
"Alright well that wasn't too long ago maybe he's planning on checking in today?" He suggested, finishing up at his locker and throwing his bag over his shoulder, dropping his hand from your hip and sliding it into yours, interlocking your fingers and giving you a comforting squeeze before he began leading you towards the school's double doors, the last class of the day having already ended.
Letting out another sigh you only nodded, swinging your interlocked hands between you as you walked towards the exit.
"I promised my dad I'd finish a plot at the cemetery so he'd let me come over tonight so I'm gonna be a little bit late." Isaac broke the silence, looking at you with an expression that was mixed with disappointment and exhaustion, "That's okay." You offered, squeezing his hand as he'd done yours earlier.
"Do you want a ride home?" You asked him, nodding your head toward your beat up, second hand car that the pair of you had already made several memories in since you got it almost a year ago for your sixteenth birthday.
The brown haired boy only shook his head, giving you a soft smile and nodding towards the bike racks, "Nah, I brought my bike today."
Nodding in understanding, you leaned up and pecked his cheek while you let go of his hand, "Alright. Since you're gonna be late I'll pick up the movie for tonight myself. You just meet me at my place whenever you're ready, Kay?"
"Yes, ma'am." Letting out a soft laugh he watched you walk to your car, already missing your warmth beside him.
*
The first thing you noticed upon pulling into your driveway was the slick black car that was parked beside your mother's blue one, in your usual spot. The car was new and you didn't recognize it, you quirked an eyebrow, putting your car in park behind your mother's, grabbed your school bag from the passenger seat and got out with a slam of the door.
As you entered the house you were met with the sound of voices floating from the kitchen, picking up on the hushed conversation as you made your way towards the three voices, "You need to tell her." One said, a man. "It's too soon." Another sounded, you recognized the voice to belong to your father. "No, he's right, if what he says is true she's going to get caught up in it either way. Especially now the Argent's are in town." That was your mother. Your eyebrows furrowed, you could only assume that the 'she' they were talking about was you but what you didn't understand was what exactly they were debating telling you and why it had anything to do with the Argent's, were they talking about the Allison girl who had just joined your class?
You pushed open the kitchen door, eyebrows knitted tightly together, your brain taking a second to catch up with who your eyes were seeing, "Derek."
The name left your lips in barely a whisper when your eyes landed on the dark haired man leaning against your kitchen counter with a small smile playing on his lips as he greeted you, "Hey, kid."
Without wasting anymore time you launched yourself forward, arms wrapping around Derek's middle as he let out a sigh, his own arms moving around you slowly to reciprocate your action with a tight squeeze.
"I missed you!" You exclaimed punching the older man in the shoulder once you detached from the hug, expression turning accusing after a moment prompting Derek to purse his lips and brace himself, he knew that look, he hadn't seen it in a while but he knew it. That was your "I've got a bone to pick with you" look, Derek had to fight off the smile that threatened to grow on his lips when he realized that this particular look hadn't changed since you were five years old.
"Do you want to tell me why Scott McCall got to see you before I did?" The man under fire let out a defeated sigh, "If it makes you feel any better I would've rathered it be you that I bumped into." He responded halfheartedly, letting out a huff you turned towards your parents who were sat at the dining table.
"What were you guys talking about before I came in?" You questioned, feeling nervous as the three adults suddenly went rigid, glancing between each other before Derek nodded his head in your father's direction, silently encouraging him to tell you what they'd been discussing earlier.
Letting out a heavy exhale through his nose your father motioned for you to sit down in the chairs across from him, Derek moving to sit beside your father in front of you as you did. "This is going to be hard to believe but I need you to keep an open mind while we explain, alright?" You only managed a nod of your head, nerves ever-growing as you waited for someone to elaborate on whatever they were about to tell you.
"You've heard of werewolves haven't you?"
"Sure." You responded confused, the question seemed out of place in what you assumed was to be a serious conversation.
"Well they're real." Your father responded. You couldn't stop the snort that left your mouth, breaking out into a fit of giggles before you noticed the three adults before you looking at you with absolutely no trace of amusement. "Wait you're serious?!" Your eyes almost bugged out of your head as Derek's eyes flashed blue and he bared his teeth in response to your exclamation.
"...So the howling Scott said he heard in the woods?" You trailed off, eyes wide as Derek nodded his head, "it was a werewolf."
"You?"
"No. An alpha."
Eyes never leaving Derek, you posed another question, "Is this why you're family called themselves a pack?"
The man nodded, not being able to get a word in edgewise while you continued to fire out question after question, "You guys always said I was the littlest of the pack does that mean-" Your mother cut you off with a light chuckle, "No babe, you're not a werewolf." A sigh of relief left you when you slumped back against the kitchen chair, a small twinge of disappointment flooding through you, that would've been cool.
"You may not be a wolf genetically but you're still a member of our pack." Derek assured you, sensing your disappointment. "Are they in the pack too?" You inquired, glancing quickly at your parents before returning your gaze to Derek.
"No. Just you." You couldn't lie and say the statement didn't make you feel special but still, it confused you, "Why not?"
It was your mother's turn to speak now, giving the werewolf a break from your constant curiosity.
"Back before the fire your dad and I had a certain role to play in Beacon Hills," she started, reaching for your hand before she continued, "from the minute you were born you bonded with almost everyone in the Hale house, we didn't understand it completely but we assumed it was because of how close me and your dad were to them. I guess they kind of saw you as their newest cub after Cora." Derek chuckled, chiming in with a quiet, "More like runt of the little." Giving him a glare you kicked his shin under the table while he laughed and you nodded for your mother to keep going.
"Anyway, as you already know me and your dad met in college- studying Mythology. We uncovered supernatural occurrence after supernatural occurrence and those supernatural occurrences eventually led us here, to the Hale's." She told you, looking to your father for him to continue, he cleared his throat before speaking, "We got caught up in it, built a huge repertoire of supernatural entities, including werewolves, I met Peter and we made a truce, ended up becoming best friends in the process."
Nodding your head slowly you spoke up again, "So you guys were like… their supernatural encyclopedia?"
"Pretty much." Derek answered.
"Okayyyy… but that still doesn't answer my question, why am I in the pack and not you guys?" You posed the question to your father who looked at your mother nervously.
"When you were four things got messy, really messy," Derek scoffed, rolling his eyes muttering "understatement of the century" under his breath as your father went on, "Your mother got captured by hunters, Chris Argent and his little gang of merry men." He tensed his jaw, saying the name through clenched teeth before composing himself, "So your uncle Peter made the executive decision to initiate you into the pack to make absolutely sure that nobody would get their hands on you."
"Why?" The three of them erupted into laughs at the look on your face, Derek opting to answer the question, "I don't know how you did it but you had him completely wrapped around your finger. Peter is the most selfish person I've ever met but he would've sooner died himself than let anyone touch a hair on your head. As part of a pack members protect each other at all costs. With you officially a member it meant that we were bonded to you, you were one of us." The mention of Peter made you smile, not that you'd admit it to Derek but you felt the newly exposed pack bond strongest with Peter, the dots only connecting in your head now years later. Derek picking up on your train of thought spoke up, "That's why you can't bring yourself to stop visiting him."
Your mother's voice cut in again, "Those four crescent scars on the back of your neck are from Peter, it's how he marked you as a member without actually turning you." She explained, your hand absentmindedly rubbed the nape of your neck, fingers tracing deftly over the scars that you often forgot about.
"I know it's a lot to digest but there's one more thing." Derek sighed, a slight feeling of guilt growing within him for having to dump this on you all at once. When you didn't say anything, only looked at him he continued, "The hunters who kidnapped your mother, well they're back."
Anxiety bubbled up in your stomach as you whipped your head to your mom, "Are they gonna try take her again?" Your voice was bordering on sounding manic, Derek's voice quelling your worried before you had a panic attack.
"No. I don't think so at least. It's me and the alpha they're after, and- I trust you not to tell anyone this- your friend Scott too." Your eyes widened yet again, Scott was a werewolf? That must have been why he was seeking Derek out earlier today, "That's why he was looking for you isn't it?" You voiced your thoughts, Derek rose an eyebrow in response, "Looking for me?" You nodded enthusiastically, "Yeah, today in school, he and Stilinski started asking me a bunch of questions about why you were here- I told them I'd help them find you." You clarified, trying not to laugh at the exhausted look that came over Derek's face when the name Stilinski fell from your lips.
"Tell him to meet me in the woods later. I need him to help find the alpha." Derek instructed, watching contently as you pulled your phone out of your pocket and began texting Scott, thankful you'd gotten his number.
You: I'm with Derek
You: He wanted me to tell you to meet him in the woods later
Scott: When is later?
"When is later?" You voiced, not looking up from your phone, "After dark." Derek answered and you laughed, "Alright, Bruce Wayne."
You: He says "after dark"
Scott: :/ cryptic much
You: Best I could do wolfie
Scott: He told you??????
You: Yep, I'll fill you in tomorrow there's a lot to unpack here…
Scott: Please don't tell anybody
You: Your secret is safe with me don't worry
With that you set your phone down in front of you, before something crossed your mind, "Wait you said Argent earlier right?" Derek nodded, your mother and father having moved from the table, preparing food in the kitchen.
"Allison Argent just started at my school, I'm pretty sure Scott has a crush on her actually." You informed, shrugging your shoulders lightly, picking up your phone when it buzzed and missing the way Derek rolls his eyes.
Isaac: I'll be over at 7 <3
You: Great what movie do you want me to get?
Isaac: Ladies choice ;)
You: Hope you like Legally Blonde xoxoxo
Isaac: Seriously again?
You: You said my choice no take backs, love you <3333333
The time was 5:45pm and the sky had turned from blue to black, you assumed Derek would be heading off to stress Scott out soon enough so you stood from the table and grabbed your jacket, "I'm gonna go rent a DVD for me and Isaac, you guys need anything?" You directed towards your parents who were messing around in the kitchen like teenagers causing you to roll your eyes but smile.
"Huh? No we're okay. When is lover boy coming?" Your father asked, wiggling his eyebrows at you, laughing at how you groaned, "Stop calling my best friend 'loverboy' one of these days you're gonna slip up and call him that to his face and he'll literally die of embarrassment on the spot!" You yelled, cheeks burning and expecting your mother to come to your defense only to have her laugh along with your father, "Yeah, don't talk about your future son in law like that."
"God, you two are the worst. Derek tell them to stop harassing my friendships." The dark haired man rose an eyebrow from his seat, a strict look on his face, "She's too young for a boyfriend."
"Thanks, Derek. That was absolutely not helpful at all, but thank you." You muttered, grabbing your car keys and heading out the door.
You loved your parents, adored them, they raised you incredibly- that didn't mean they didn't annoy the hell out of you sometimes, though. They had about fifty names that they liked to call Isaac instead of his actual name, the most popular being "loverboy", "heart eyes", or your mother's personal favorite "future son in law." You supposed it was good that they liked him enough to consider him a future son in law, however, it was pretty insensitive when they could clearly see that you were painfully in love with him and fighting with inner turmoil because of it.
After a five minute drive you pulled up to the video store, stepping out and noticing Lydia Martin in the car next to you, you made brief eye contact with the strawberry blonde and the pair of you exchanged friendly smiles before you entered the store. Lydia was nice but you noticed she wore a facade around school, more specifically around Jackson. You remembered quite vividly how she shot Isaac down rather brutally back in freshman year. He'd only asked her out to prove a point to you, you couldn't remember what now but you'd gotten in some form of argument and the resolution you'd come to was that he prove himself and ask someone out, that someone happened to be Lydia. He didn't really like her but the whole debacle did significantly bruise his ego.
Of course, wherever Lydia Martin is Jackson Whittemore was never far away. You almost laughed when the first thing you heard after walking into the store was the jock shouting about not being able to find "The Notebook".
"It's over there." You chimed in, alerting him of your presence and pointing straight ahead of him towards the movie he was searching for.
Nodding thankfully the blonde made his way toward the far shelf while you walked to the other side of the store.
Despite being across the room, Jackson's gasp sounded clearly making you nearly jump out of your skin. Placing a hand on your rapidly beating heart you just shook your head and let out a long breath. You were probably just hearing things, your mind concocting noises to psych you out after learning the new information about the supernatural, Jackson's gasp had absolutely nothing to do with the snarls you thought you were hearing from behind you.
You had yourself convinced you were just hearing things. That was until the snarls became mingled with hot, slobbery breaths that hit the nape of your neck, shocking you into spinning yourself around. You couldn't help the yelp of fear that left your lips when your eyes met beaming red orbs… the eyes- they weren't human.
What you were looking at you could only describe as a beast. A wolf. The ability you usually possessed to control your breathing left you as you heaved, continuing to stumble back as the creature took steps forward until your back hit a row of shelves painfully. DVDs crashing to the floor in your wake.
The creature was face to face with you now, snout coming in contact with your nose as it's demonic eyes bored into your soul. It snarled as you felt your heart rate increase, it was going so fast you were half scared it would detach from it's blood vessels. Everything about the creature scared you, from its eyes, to it's snarl, to its fangs baring in your face, but what frightened you the most was that you felt like you knew it. There was a familiarity with it and you could not for the life of you explain it but you could feel it.
The scream that left you when the beast finally lunged for you with snapping jaws shook the store as the wolf sunk its teeth into the soft tissue of where your shoulder connects to your neck. The pain you felt was as blinding as the eyes that stared at you, the beast raised it's hair covered paw in the air, fully intent of swiping the last remnants of life from your now limp form before it suddenly stopped, looking at you with so much uncertainty. Not getting a chance to analyze the new look on the things hairy face the creature resumed its position on all fours then crashed out of the store window.
"(L/n)?!" Jackson whisper shouted, from around the corner, only seeing your legs peeking out from behind a row of shelves as he made his way over to you, his movements jittery. You tried to call out but your voice failed you, you kicked your legs out weakly to let him know where you were, not knowing he was already rushing towards you.
"Christ… ok just stay awake I'm calling the police right now." The blond, who you'd never known to care for anything other than himself, spoke frantically- shaking as he pulled out his phone.
Your hearing faded in and out as Jackson shouted at law enforcement over the phone. Tilting your head to the side, very painfully, you began to panic once you noticed the gaping bite that had been taken out of your neck, you whimpered pathetically at the sight of your entire shoulder, neck and hair drenched in blood, your blood. Your panic seemed to rub off on Jackson as he noticed your breath becoming heavier and heavier by the second, tears falling down your face as you stared at your injury in fear.
It was just then that sirens wailed from outside, this eased Jackson's nerves, the boy, you had to hand it to him, didn't leave your side until you were safely in an ambulance- your nerves however were still fried, panic growing by the second as strangers fretted around you, yelling orders at each other and pushing painfully against your wounds. Calm didn't settle over you until one of the medics injected you with a needle, you didn't have a clue what was in it and you didn't have time to theorize as your world turned black.

Chaos House | TXT
intro: life had been simple. until your parents had decided to adopt five older brothers, all of them being very different from each other.
a/n: new series announcement!! its a step brother! txt x reader !! platonic :)) send requests for this series if you’d like ~
You would like to say that you lived a normal life as a sixteen year old, but that would be a lie.
Your name is y/n l/n and is sixteen and an only child. life had been boring. but that was until, well, your parents adopted five older brothers when you were eight. Well, at least the first brother you had was when you were eight.
Here's how it went down.
There's Choi Yeonjun, your first step brother. He’s older than you by five years. He’s passionate about dance; there are nights where he blasts his music loud as fuck in his room and you cant even hear your own thoughts, and he's always jamming to the morning radio whenever you're having breakfast. he’s been doing that since you could remember, honestly.
but besides all the noise in the early mornings, he really is a great brother. he had beaten up a bully back when you were in third grade just because he had stolen your lunch money- and that incident alone had shown you how much he cares about you. he often picks you up from school, and usually everyone starts to fall in love with him. It is difficult.
Then there's Choi Soobin, the softest out of your five brothers you would soon find out you had, and also currently Yeonjun’s roommate. Soobin wasn't like Yeonjun at all; he was gentle. whenever you had a problem with homework, he would try his best to help you. if you were stressed, he was always there to help you relax, getting you ice cream or putting on your favourite movie as he makes you snacks.
Soobin had joined your family a little after two years Yeonjun had, and at that time, despite being older than you a great deal, he had been extremely shy. he had told you that he had lost his siblings when he was very young, so having you and Yeonjun was new to him. but thanks to countless nights of you and Yeonjun's petty fights, Soobin had found himself finding home in separating the two of you before one got hurt, and afterwards making popcorn for game nights.
Your third brother was one of the most kind yet annoying ones you had out of the three. Choi Beomgyu came when you had entered eighth grade, when Yeonjun and Soobin were already in their early twenties. even when they could easily just leave and get their own home, they had still agreed to stay in your small home which you were highly grateful for. like Soobin, Beomgyu was shy the first time he had come. but when the next day came, you were awoken with him bouncing on top of your bed excitedly, as if he had been there all his life.
Beomgyu was a burst of energy. wherever he had gone, he would always make everyone around him happy. he often gets into arguments with Soobin, which was amusing to see considering how you hadn't seen much of Soobin's angrier side. but half of the time they were never serious fights- it was usually the older telling Beomgyu off for being a bad example of a brother or doing something dangerous and idiotic.
but Beomgyu was caring and fragile, entirely so. there were nights when you woke up in your room in a cold sweat after a nightmare, and you knew that whenever it happened, his arms were the first place you would head to. Beomgyu's voice was naturally alluring, comforting and reassuring. his soft murmurs of its okay, you're okay, would never fail to calm you down at night when rain falls, although you would admit it the next morning.
When you thought it was done, Kang Taehyun had made himself home with you.
Beomgyu had cheered in utter happiness when he realized he wasn't the youngest brother, but he was a little upset when he noticed that Taehyun's last name wasn't Choi like theirs were. Taehyun was younger than all three of your brothers, but his intelligence was unmatched.
Often than not, there were times when even Soobin and Beomgyu both had to ask help for him for their homework. something you had thought was odd considering Soobin studies a year ahead, but Taehyun had never failed to impress you. with a single scan through a crappy website, Taehyun gets the whole story in a single read.
he was skillful in magic as well, that was what you had found out one rainy night when your parents were abroad and you were all bored. Taehyun made a small set up just to show the four of you his tricks that he had planned out to be short, but ended up with all of you doing it for hours bleeding into the morning as you and Beomgyu desperately ask him to teach you how it's done.
Taehyun shares a room with Beomgyu, and you could often hear the latter's loud singing along to Yeonjun's music.
And finally, you had felt that your family was perfect. with four brothers, everything was completely balanced. their dynamics suited each other so that some days you woke up peacefully, breakfast already made on the table.
That was of course, until Huening Kai had arrived.
Huening Kai was different from the rest.
Sure, he was still wacky and a little (or a little more) crazy than the others, but being the one who was the closest in age with you, you both had some sort of connection.
The first night he had arrived it was super awkward, you wouldn't lie. both being teenagers, you had found yourself awkwardly trying to see him as a brother rather than someone who could attend your school and be your classmate. he immediately was given your room to share, and your parents had to take away your bed to make way for a bunk bed that they had just ordered.
politely, Kai had let you have the top bunk and he had settled for the bottom. the week was filled with silences and mystery, as if he was a wild, unidentified animal ready to pounce anytime and you were just waiting for the countdown to hit zero.
but the week after, following a small family night, as your mother calls it, (although it's more of a night where Yeonjun gets to show off new dance moves as Soobin comfortably brings every single blanket they own to the sofa, and Beomgyu and Taehyun fighting for the remote as you helplessly tried to get everyone to do charades), had particularly bonded the two of you together after being put into a team, the both of you being super competitive against yeonjun and beomgyu.
you had found out that Huening Kai had something similar than you had during a round of truth or dare- loneliness. he too had grown up without siblings; claiming his older sister and younger sister had been taken away and separated long before he could differentiate between the color of the sky and grass, and he had never actually had another friend besides his caretaker at the orphanage.
and from then on, you and him had become inseparable, all starting from a night where he had decided to open up to you about his life before he had came that lead towards a night filled with tears and sobs as the two of you find that every single thing that you had lacked was now filled with each other.
sure, it was hard living with five very different older brothers, and it was quite hard to get used to at first. there were ups and downs to it, of course. there would be days where one of you got into an argument with the other, and there would be different sides and a silent war of dirty stares and scoffs surrounding the household where it would lead to your parents having to have you talk about it together or send you all outside without your phones,
but more than most days, when you walk into the cozy comfort of your living room, bunny slippers on your feet as you hear the television playing some sort of drama, Beomgyu having his feet on the table and ignoring Soobin who was telling him to get it off, Huening Kai who was snuggling into Taehyun’s side, the latter flipping through the channels, and Yeonjun sitting on the far end outstretching his arms for you to sit and snuggle with him,
you think it's worth all the bad days, and you wouldn't do anything to change it. because this was your family, and they were perfect.

“You can’t treat me like Zuko!” - Azula, Sozin's Comet Part 1: The Phoenix King
This quote is so important for her character: it tells us that she suffered from her father’s abuse of her brother too, though indirectly. That every time Ozai hurt his son, he was demonstrating what could happen to her should she ever fall from grace, that this became a deep-entrenched fear in the back of her mind.
(Pic: Azula and kid!Zuko, both upset and confused, asking for answers from their father, who has his back turned toward them.)
I want to delve into it a little bit: what it means, for Azula, to be treated like Zuko. Long post under the cut, as usual!
Here’s the full exchange:
Azula: Sorry I’m late, Father. Good palanquin bearers are so hard to come by these days. So, is everything ready for our departure? Ozai: There has been a change of plans, Azula. Azula: What? Ozai: I've decided to lead the fleet of airships to Ba Sing Se alone. You will remain here in the Fire Nation. Azula: But… I thought we were going to do this together. Ozai: My decision is final. Azula: You... you can't treat me like this. You can't treat me like Zuko! Ozai: Azula, silence yourself. Azula: But it was my idea to burn everything to the ground! I deserve to be by your side! Ozai: Azula! Listen to me. I need you here to watch over the homeland. It's a very important job that I can only entrust to you. Azula: Really? Ozai: And for your loyalty, I've decided to declare you the new Fire Lord. Azula: Fire Lord Azula? It does seem appropriate. But... what about you? Ozai: Fire Lord Ozai is no more. Just as the world will be reborn in fire, I shall be reborn as the supreme ruler of the world. From this moment on, I will be known as... the Phoenix King!
So what’s interesting to me here is that Ozai isn’t actually treating her like he would Zuko under the same circumstances (not according to what we’ve seen of their previous interactions?). For one thing, it’s clear she wasn’t punished for lying to him about who killed the Avatar, nor for keeping her suspicions that Aang wasn’t truly dead to herself. Azula’s tone is light upon first catching up to him and she attempts to make casual conversation. Sure, she’s actually nervous underneath, but that’s because she can see things aren’t going according to plan and she doesn’t know why - she doesn’t know she’s supposed to be in trouble. He’s not ignoring her either, like he simply ignored kid!Zuko asking about his mother in the parallel scene in the above screenshot. She’s also not punished for her outburst, for raising her voice to him at a formal and public event, even after he ordered her to “silence herself” (how’s that for speaking out of turn? No Agni Kai, Ozai?). Instead Ozai is... surprisingly gentle? He placates her, reassures her of her importance and of his trust in her. And then he rewards her with the title of Fire Lord.
When we think of the way Ozai treated Zuko, we think of a history of open disdain, emotional and verbal abuse that culminated with setting his son’s face on fire. He’s doing none of these things to Azula here. So what it is exactly in this scene that Azula assimilated with the way he would behave toward her older brother?
Here’s my understanding: for Azula “being treated like Zuko” doesn’t start with disappointed looks, insults or scornful comments. It doesn’t need to go that far. Instead it starts with exclusion. And that’s a dimension of Ozai’s abuse and their family dynamic that I feel isn’t explored enough, despite being just as harmful.
Let’s go back to the flashbacks in “Zuko Alone”. Even without seeing them interact alone, we get the sense that there is an odd complicity between Ozai and his eight or nine-years-old daughter:
She shows him her new firebending moves - and what makes this significant isn’t that a father would keep tabs on his daughter’s progress, it’s that her mother and brother weren’t apparently in on it. Ozai speaks of the moves she showed to him not them (her parents), and Zuko’s amazement at Azula’s forms implies he hadn’t seen them before. So it’s time that Ozai and Azula spent alone together.
She supports his ambitions: “If Uncle doesn’t make it back from war, then Dad will be next in line to become Fire Lord, wouldn’t he?” and “I still think our dad would make a much better Fire Lord than his royal tea-loving kookiness”. More than that, she seems aware of his plots (might even have a hand to play in them, but that’s not confirmed either way): “‘Fire Lord Azulon’... Can’t you just call him Grandfather? He’s not exactly the powerful Fire Lord he used to be. Someone will probably end up taking his place soon.” - Azula obviously knew that her father had plans to get rid of her grandfather. Here again, what I want to focus on is the fact that Zuko and her mother were completely unaware about all of it (“What is wrong with that child?”).
Ozai calls her “my dear” and asks her specifically to demonstrate before the Fire Lord. He doesn’t address Zuko once throughout the flashbacks.
So even as a child, Azula was allowed into her father’s confidence. He trusted her, while her brother was left in the dark. And I think this was likely the biggest difference in how Ozai treated his children before he became Fire Lord. In these flashbacks, Zuko didn’t seem scared of his father yet. He wasn’t afraid to perform before him, to cry and lament his failures before him, or to be comforted by Ursa before him. He didn’t seem overly worried to have embarrassed him in front of Azulon himself. He wasn’t afraid to demand answers of him after Ursa’s disappearance. So I tend to think that whatever abuse he was subjected to at this point, before Ursa’s banishment, was limited. What is clear is that Ozai and Azula shared a special relationship that Zuko wasn’t a part of.
Of course, this puts Azula in a privileged position compared to her brother. Their father is the one with all the power in their family, the one they are both constantly trying to please, but only Azula is allowed to know his mind. Note that throughout the different scenes in the flashbacks, there’s a pattern of Azula using information Zuko doesn’t have to mess with him: “Uncle is coming home” “Dad’s going to kill you” “No one knows where Mom is” “Grandpa passed away”. She’s the bearer of news, and as such always ahead of him. Knowledge is power, and knowledge is something Ozai constantly denied his son.
This disconnect between Zuko and his father reached its climax, imo, when Ozai challenged him to an Agni Kai and Zuko… misunderstood (more likely, he was deliberately misled). Zuko just never understood his father, because his father never spoke to him. Zuko was never allowed to know his thoughts - and for three years afterward, he wasn’t even allowed to see his face. He wasn’t allowed to know who his father was, unlike Azula, who was privy to his ambitions since they were children. This is why she can successfully manipulate him using the promise of their father’s love (in both the first and last episode of Book 2).
All of this is still true when Zuko comes back from his exile. Ozai doesn’t welcome both his children at the same time. Instead he sees Azula first. She reports to him, and only afterward (after they had the time to talk about him and make decisions behind his back) does he finally see Zuko.
He welcomes him back with honors as the crown prince, but Zuko still isn’t truly allowed to know what’s going on. He’s sent on a forced vacation to Ember Island while Ozai meets with his generals. He’s not invited to war meetings, until suddenly he is and people just… forgot to inform him. He has no important part to play during the counter-invasion plan. In short, Zuko is still excluded. Azula uses him as a shield one moment, says she’s looking out for him the next. His father calls him a hero, but doesn’t try to get to know him or spend any meaningful time with him (not even to try and make up for... everything). I don’t believe either of them truly intended for Zuko to ever succeed Ozai. So the whole time he’s in the Fire Nation, back in his “rightful place”, Zuko is fidgety because he can’t trust them. He doesn’t know if he’s being paranoid or too naive. He doesn’t know if they’re honest or just playing with him.
(Truth is Zuko was emotionally banished long before he was legally banished, and him killing the Avatar couldn’t change that.)
And this is what Ozai did to Azula in their final scene together before abandoning her. When her father’s palanquin left early, it was her turn to be fidgety and paranoid, wondering what’s going on. Ozai blindsided her, left her in the dark, excluded her without telling her why. When she was a kid, her father talked to her about his plans to become Fire Lord. Now not only did he not tell her about his plans to become Phoenix King, he didn’t even talk to her about her own promotion. She was no longer his confidant, but just another pawn, like Zuko.

Room for more chapter 8
~.~
The next few days went well, and as those days bled into a month. Nearly to the date Pixel came back for a check in for the kids. She trusted her friends but needed to put that aside for the well-being and safety, so here she was checking on them.
It was raining that fateful day, near pouring from the dark grey clouds. Thanksgiving will be in a few weeks, the rapid drop in temperature was an odd sensation that she wasn’t prepared for. She didn’t need to knock before Cole opened the door with a smile.
“Hey, come on in.” He greeted her, opening the door.
“Thank you, now you know why i’m here?” Pixel got straight to the point, she wasn’t here as a friend.
Cole nodded, “Of course, now Zane wasn’t sure if you wanted to talk to the kids first or us so both are in the living room.”
She nodded before she brought up their file, it was rather thick and contained the information for both brother and sister. “I’ll talk with the children first, I'm trusting that they're ok.”
“In our words yes, but you have to take their word for it.” Cole simply shrugged, in the end it was up to the kids.
Pixel nodded again, before moving to the living room where the two children sat playing with toys. They did seem happier then when she’d last seen them, more like children.
Zane came out of the kitchen, apron tied around his waist and a tray of drinks in hand. “Hello Mrs. Borg, welcome.”
The children looked up from their toys and smiled at her, Kai seemed hesitant with his greeting but did so nonetheless. “Hello Mrs. Borg!” The two greeted before giving Zane their whole attention.
An exchange of pleasantries and drinks commenced, mostly small talk and such before Pixel cleared her throat, “I would like to speak to the children now please, alone.” That statement made the room feel so much colder.
“Of course, kids go with Mrs.Borg. Show her your rooms and such.” Zane motioned for the two to follow Mrs. Borg when they made no move.
Kai eyed her with caution, he knew she was a nice woman and from he was told she was fair and sweet. But social workers weren’t always nice, they seemed nice but weren’t what they seemed. Nya mostly followed her brother in mannerisms, but never really thought. Like when all the doctors thought her Mama was gonna be fine and she died a week later-or when dad said he’d be back. Nonetheless the two followed Mrs. Borg up the stairs and to Nya’s room where the children share the bed while Mrs. Borg sits in front of them.
~*meanwhile*~
Anxiety was a son of bitch, so much so that Cole was cursing every single god to let him be at peace. Granted that probably wouldn’t happen seeing as they didn’t have much to worry about-they shouldn’t have anything to worry about.
“You're pacing a hole in the carpet dear.” Zane mentioned as he sat with a book on the couch and some tea.
“Surprised you aren’t joining me.” Cole snapped before stopping and wincing, “I’m sorry babe, it’s just been really stressful lately.”
Zane sighed as he closed his book before rubbing his eyes, “I know my dear, but please calm down.”
Cole, now tired, collapses on the couch next to his husband. “I hate waiting.”
Zane guided Cole’s head to his lap and started to card his fingers through thick black hair. “As do I, my love, but if we waited this long then perhaps it’s worth the wait.”
The two were silent for a moment, the house rarely creaked but as the silence went on it felt like the house was moving with the wind of the storm.
“Are we good parents?” Cole asks as Zane picks up his discarded tea.
He was silent for a moment, contemplating his husband's words. “I like to think we’re doing a good job so far, but only time will tell really.”
“I’m not talking about that,” Cole sits up and faces his husband, “I’m talking about are we doing the right thing? Like could we be holding them back, are we taking them away from an uncontacted family member, are we doing things wrong and not knowing it?!” His voice rose an octave, panic of unknown answers to rising questions loomed over him like the storm clouds outside.
Zane wasn’t going to lie; questions like those often plagued his mind. It was times like those when he wouldn’t sleep-couldn’t stop the thoughts that reminded him that what they were doing could have been taken away so quickly.
“I like to think we're doing the right thing-we’re hopefully doing the right thing. Maybe we're helping them, or maybe we’re like our parents and don’t even know it. I…” Zane trailed off, the thought of being like either of his fathers was a difficult one to handle. Dr. Julian was a good man, just not a great parent; never really being there for his kids and favoring one over the other. His other father, Arashi was far more old fashioned with just about everything especially parenting. While he was there for things, It always felt like nothing was good enough for him, and in turn neither Zane nor Echo were good enough.
“We’re definitely better than our parents-no offence. I mean we’re going through all these hoops just to be here.” Cole thankfully interrupts Zane’s thoughts. “Plus we’ve done a lot to get here and made progress with Kai.”
Ok that was undeniable-when Kai first got there it was tense and full of trial and error, Nya while younger and mostly followed her brother in terms of what he did. Both have grown so much in the past month, opening up to them and feeling like a family.
“What i’m trying to say is, we can try and hopefully succeed?” Cole gently brought the conversation to a sorta close.
“I suppose your right, but that will never truly answer our questions.” Zane reached for his husband, seeking comfort. “And that’s good right?”
The two were quiet for a moment, before little feet were heard coming down the stairs followed by the sound of Pixels heels.
The two children joined the older on the couch and leaned deeply into their warmth. Whatever they talked about upstairs was clearly behind them.
“Alright so after i take a look around then you can go back to domestic life.” Pixel smiles as Zane detached himself from Nya’s hold on him and led her around the home for her to deem safe for the children.
~later~
They passed the check with flying colors, the kids were happy and very safe. Education wise Zane had gotten them workbooks and brought them to speed with 5th and 1st grade respectfully so they could both go to school in the spring. If they were still in their care by then anyways.
Nonetheless things were actually going well for the family, it was perfect.
Then they got a call, rather late at night actually from Pixel who sounded frazzled and stressed.
Zane picked up his phone around 3 am, answering the call without looking at the caller ID. “Hello?”
“Hey Zane-quick thing.” Pixel wasted no time with introductions or greetings. “Seeing as you and Cole are foster parents and while I know you already have two children under your care-” Pixel cut herself off with a quick ‘excuse me’ to supposedly yell at someone.
Cole turned to his side as Zane sat up and clicked on the bedside lamp, “What's happening? Who is it?”
Before Zane could answer Pixel talked to him “Can you take a baby-maybe 9 months old?”
Zane was silent for a moment, needing some time to process her words. “Um, can i talk to Cole for a second then I can talk.” He hung up the phone before letting the phone fall and falling backwards into the pillows himself.
“What happened?” Cole himself turned on his bedside lamp before following his husband and collapsing onto his pillows.
“Pixel wants to place us with a baby.” Was all Zane said. That kind of shocked Cole, when they had first considered fostering they had been open to much younger kids. Now though seeing as they already have two kids-did they really need a baby?
“Do you want to?” Zane asks, before pausing, “Foster the baby I mean.”
“Honestly, we should do it.” Cole answers after a pause. “I mean we're doing pretty good with Kai and Nya and the system doesn’t help kids at any age really.”
He turns to his side, waiting for Zane’s response. He knew Zane wanted a baby, hell when they were in highschool Zane took many babysitting jobs be it with his younger brother or the neighborhood kids.
“I think we should as well.” Zane finally answers after the minutes start to stretch. “But what about Kai and Nya? They should be consulted on this, it’s a very important decision that they should have a hand in.”
“Call Pixel back, and we can talk to them in the morning.” Cole advised as he got up with his phone. “I’ll call in sick so we can all talk this over.”
Before Zane could tell him about the rain from the afternoon Pixel picked up, “Zane, hi. Did you both talk about it?”
“Yes, we’d love to foster the baby but why did you call at 3 in the morning?” Zane also got up from bed-he’d might as well check in on the kids.
Pixel was silent on the other line for a little while before she sighed heavily, “Well seeing as i was handed the baby at 2 am i figured it was better than nothing. And you did answer so.”
Zane was quiet for a second, “I’m sorry what?”
Pixel sighed again before answering, “Watch the news in the morning and you’ll understand ok? So when can i come with the baby?”
“Umm, in two days maybe? We have to talk to the kids and get everything ready.” Zane leaded against the hallway wall. “..What’s their name? The babies?”
“His name is Lloyd, he's nine months old and i think you’ll love him.” He could hear the smile in Pixels voice before his phone pinged. “I sent you some general information, I'll talk to you later ok?” They exchanged goodbyes and hung up.
After checking Kai’s room(it was empty) and then going to Nya’s to see the siblings cuddled close in the bed. After a quick picture of the two he closed the door and went back to bed. Cole was back, the bedside lamp turned off. Zane turned off his light and went to sleep.
Tomorrow is going to be hectic.

among the stars — sugawara koushi
✎ gender. neutral ✎ contains. pestablished relationship, uneahlthy familial relationships (mention), anxiety of a college kid, self indulgent, not edited ✎ wc. 1.7k
✎ summary. with so much anxiety and uncertainties on earth, what to do, how to do it, you always looked up to the stars for answers.
✎ ameris’ notes. just something self indulgent. not my best work but, it’s kay! also tried to keep reader’s interests as vague as possible, but I can only do so much lol.
The Miyagi air was sharp against your skin. Piercing. Cold. It felt like if water fell from your eyes then it would immediately freeze over.
That was one motivator to hold your tears in.
You swallowed down the very lump in your throat because you knew that if it escaped, the dam would break loose. And again, you did not want your tears to freeze on your face. A sigh left your mouth, the cold air apparent in front of your face as you walked past Ukai’s shop. There was still a light inside but you could tell that it was closed. After all, the world—or rather, Japan—was preparing to sleep for the night.
“Hey.”
With perked ears, you turned your head towards the source. Suga stood there with a gentle smile on his face, his little bean sprout (as you liked calling it) on top of his head. He donned his typical winter coat and blue scarf, topped with gloves on his hands. Clearly, he was more prepared for the winter temperatures of Miyagi than you. Considering you were just wearing a thin sweatshirt and jeans. But you ran out of your house too fast to think ahead of time.
“Koushi,” a ghost of a smile played at your lips until you remembered why you called him out. The two of you were back in Miyagi for winter break and at first you were excited to be back home from university, feeling like your relationship with your parents was starting to look up. That is, until you realized nothing changed at all.
After all, even your older brother who had a somewhat better relationship with your parents ended up with an estranged one.
They didn’t even go to his wedding.
Suga took off his coat, draping it around your shoulders. You tried to protest, claiming that he’ll end up with a cold but with a chaste kiss to your forehead, you accepted it reluctantly. The final icing on the cake was when he promptly wrapped his scarf around your neck. His gloved fingers brushed against your neck as he tucked it into the coat. And despite the clothed barrier, you were still able to feel the warmth and love that radiated from him.
With that big smile of his, he beamed at you, “There, all nice and warm.”
You rolled your eyes as you laced your hands with his before tucking it into your—or his—coat pocket. And the two of you set off, walking to wherever your feet took you.
“Do you want to talk about it?” He asked, glancing at you. You pursed your lips, your hand squeezed his. Ever so slightly, you walked closer to him, wanting the comfort of his presence.
You shake your head, “No, not yet.”
“Whenever you’re ready.” His thumb brushes against the back of your hand as the two of you approach an empty park with a large open field of grass. The very place the two of you met all those years ago. The very place the two of you would spend countless nights after his many volleyball practices. The very place the two of you confessed your feelings to one another.
You were glad to know that you knew him for over half your life and that he would continue to be a part of your life (at least you hoped so).
Despite the freezing weather, Suga sat on the ground, in the middle of the grass field and pulled you down with him to sit between his legs. He wrapped his arms around your waist, pressing you against his chest.
“I’ve missed you,” Suga murmured into your neck, letting his lips kiss you lightly. You let out a small giggle, telling him that it tickles. He didn’t care and started to press more kisses on your neck. Your laughter was music to his ears. As overused as that statement was. But he was just so happy to hear it in person instead of over the phone. It had been a long time waiting. For the both of you.
“Koussshhiii,” you whined, pushing his face away from you. He pouts but relents nonetheless. Your laughter dying down as you settle down and rest your head against his shoulder, looking up to the night sky.
“Hey, Koushi?” You ask, your eyes tracing the stars, trying to see if you’d be able to recognize any constellations despite the light pollution. The one that you’re always able to find during this time of year was always Orion’s belt. Before you knew it, the three stars entered your sight.
Suga hummed in response, prompting you to continue with your thought. You turned your head towards him, your eyes landing on his beauty mark that you always love leaving kisses on. Especially with how flustered he’d get after.
“Where do you think shooting stars land?”
There was a moment of silence. Suga looked up at the sky, used to your odd questions. A small smile made its way onto his face. Immediately, you knew what he was up to.
“Well, I’d say in your eyes, because you’re made of stardust.” He grinned as you let out a groan, you shook your head.
“You’re so cheesy, Kou-chan.”
“You love me.” He nuzzles his nose to your cheek.
“Yeah, yeah.”
Silence veiled over the two of you. A comfortable silence. Despite sitting on the cold ground, the two of you felt more warm than ever. Even if Suga gave his coat to you. But he was prepared, making sure to wear a few extra layers after past experience to how many times you’d sneak out of the house or just run away for space away from your parents.
His heart would break every time you’d run into his arms with tears. After all, all children want is for their parents to be proud of them, to support them, to love them in a way that’s healthy.
“My parents really want me to become a doctor,” you break the silence. His grip around you tightens.
“Do you want to?”
“I...” you trail off for a second, “I don’t know. I’m doing fine in all my classes, more than fine. I’ve got plenty of shadowing opportunities. I’m actually top of my class. But...”
“You want to do something else, right?” Suga finished for you, knowing all about your interests and what you’d rather do. The way your eyes would light up whenever you wanted to show him something new. You always loved how he’d support you through and through.
“Yeah, it’s just that, I don’t think I’m any good at it, even if I wanted to pursue it as a job. All the classes I have to take to become a doctor, that comes naturally. But not anything I’d want to do. I don’t know what I want out of life anymore.” You let out a sigh, trying to dig further into the comfort of Suga’s arms. His hands begin to play with your fingers. His gloves are long gone so you’re able to feel the pads of his finger tips, the callouses from his many years of playing volleyball. And yet, they were still soft.
Suga pressed his lips against your temple and you leaned into it.
“You remember our third year, when Kageyama became starting setter?” You nod your head. “Do you remember what you said to me when I felt so useless? When I couldn’t even play the sport that I love so much?” You close your eyes, remember that conversation distinctly. It did take place here, like every other memory.
“That you were still important and that you still had a lot to get out of the club.”
“Well, that’s the gist of it. Even then, the same could be applied to you. And you saw Hinata, he was terrible-” you laughed, remembering his many mistakes “-but he’s gotten so much better. He is in his last year now.”
Your laughter died down. “Fair but, Hinata’s sorta simple minded. No offense to him, he only has volleyball in his head. Besides, my parents hate all the things I’d be interested in.”
“That’s the thing about life and living, huh.” You turn your head to look at Suga, his eyes resting somewhere beyond the horizon as he continues to talk. “How should we live, how do we make the most of it. I know I can’t answer that for you, your parents can’t either. Only you can.”
That’s the weird thing about college and moving on from your small sheltered life. You found that even if you had some sort of plan after high school, for the most part once you hit nineteen, twenty, everything comes crashing down. Some of your friends who wanted to pursue STEM degrees found more meaning in the performing arts and some of those struggled with the means of getting there. Some people didn’t even know what they were doing, just trying to coast by. You question everything and you feel like you have to have everything figured out before you leave university. Or so you found within yourself and others near your age.
But it was in moments like these that you found your anxieties about the future calmed down, even if it was for a little while.
You hum, turning your gaze back at the stars. “Well, however I live in the future, there’s one thing I know about it.”
“Hmm? What’s that?” Suga asks, glancing at you, his fingers still fiddling with yours.
“I know I want you in it for the rest of my life, living by my side.”
Suga’s eyes widened. Sure, the two of you grew up together, found love in each other. And sure, he’s thought about maybe starting a family with you, break that generational scarring. Or at the very least, marrying you and moving in together. Waking up beside you, going to sleep with you in his arms or him in your arms. You’ve had the same thoughts as well, but not once have either of you even hinted at it. So knowing that you wanted what he did, well, it eased his anxieties about the future as well.
His fingers began to play with your left ring finger, rubbing over where the ring would go.
“I’d like that, a lot,” he murmurs with a hint of a smile dancing on his lips.
No matter what the future holds, you knew you wouldn’t have to go it alone.
