I just imagined a very funny BSD scenario where Dazai tells Chuuya that he’s gonna leave the mafia instead of just leaving him and Chuuya is like ‘Fuck it I’m coming’ but he wants to inform Kouyou so they do and she’s like ‘I’m coming too, not letting my baby brother alone’ and somewhere in they tell Aku and Gin and they also want to come-

Anyway, this just ends up with Mori going to bed with a perfectly functional mafia and wakes up with screams and chaos cause he just lost three executives, an assassin and the Dog of the Mafia. And probably a big chunk of armed forces cause you can’t tell me Higuchi wouldn’t go with Aku.

And like, two years later, the ADA has a very pellicular (and big) visit.

Disclaimer: I do not speak Japanese and have no idea what I am doing so this translation may be kinda crap. I still wanted to attempt to translate the wan-chapters that have, to my knowledge not been translated yet. Enjoy!

I’m convinced Higuchi is the only one in the PM with a semi normal childhood.

And on a related note, I think she should find out most of the others haven’t and force Hirtosu to help plan a trip for them so they can go do fun things they never got to do as kids.

(It’s partially her taking them to places she went as a child and is super excited to share with them.)

Akutagawa complains until Chuuya and Gin chew him out and he maliciously complies (he still thinks it’s a waste of time, but is secretly grateful to spend the time with all of them).

Higuchi basically storms into Mori’s office ready to demand pto for all of them and he’s already buttoning up his Hawaiian shirt and pulling on his fanny pack (he has invited himself and Elise, who has invited Q, who refused to leave Verlaine alone in the basement, who spends most of the trip sitting on a bench with Kouyou and holding the prizes everyone won. Chuuya eventually convinces them to join in and watch the fireworks at night over the boardwalk.

Also, Tachihara cheats at like all of the games that are supposed to be unwinable (he lost once, realized they were rigged, and his pride refused to let him leave without the biggest prize he could get). He and Chuuya brought home like half of the prizes (most were given to Elise and Q, though they both secretly kept a couple one or two. For by accident, of course).

I want people to realize that the abuse cycle and the abuse web are two completely different things(also please remember that manipulation is abuse).

For it to be an abuse cycle the abused has to abuse someone else, Kyōka is excluded from this because she got out of it and ended it, Higuchi is bordering the line between the web and the cycle.

The abuse cycle consists of Mori, Dazai, Akutagawa, and Kyōka.

The abuse web is victims of abuse who have either been abused and abused someone else or been abused but didn’t abuse another.

The abuse web consists of Mori, Koyou, Dazai, Kyōka, Akutagawa, Higuchi, Chuuya(yes, Chuuya is also involved), Q, and Verlaine.

Koyou was abusive towards Kyōka. Akutagawa is/was abusive towards Kyōka and Higuchi. Mori has been abusive towards Dazai, Q, and Chuuya. Dazai is abusive towards Akutagawa and Chuuya.

Abuse is not just hurting someone, it is taking advantage of someone or hurting them multiple times.

Here’s some random Port Mafia headcanons I have.

Both public and private transport was safe and ran smoothly in Yokohama up until Albatross’s death.

Kouyou had an alt phase as a teenager and had burned all evidence of it. A quick way to get sent to an early grave is to bring it up.

Higuchi will pull rank on Gin and Tachihara if she needs too. But she refuses to pull rank on Hirotsu.

Akutagawa hates coffee and every time he’s forced to drink it for a long mission he adds a truly unethical amount of cream and sugar to it.

And he’ll still grumble that it’s too bitter.

Anytime anyone complains about work being hard Kouyou and Hirotsu regale them with tales of working for the old boss. Oh is the paperwork a lot? At least you won’t see someone shot 50 times for writing in blue pen.

Akutagawa and Gin had a bet going on to see how long it would take the others to release she was a girl and his sister.

Chuuya expected Hirotsu to hold a grudge when they met again. But Hirotsu simply said Chuyya’s hat suited him. And left saying to call him if he ever wanted to get a drink.

Chuuya grinned and said he’d take him up on that. Well if Hirotsu was paying which made the other chuckle.

Pianoman can actually play piano.

Mori regularly sends assassins after Fukuzawa to make sure he isn’t getting too rusty.

Tachihara dyed his hair brown for an undercover mission and refused to look in the mirror afterwards.

Verlaine is the boogeyman of the Port Mafia. He has definitely used it to fuck with people for his own amusement though he denies it every time.

Mori has shown up late to meetings because he’s gone for a walk in the city and dropped everything when a medical emergency has happened.

He hears “is there a doctor here?!” And instantly runs over to help.

Kajii has become so invested in an experiment he started writing his theories on the walls of his lab because he ran out of paper.

No one has managed to guess Hirotsu’s age.

Chuuya’s the only person Kouyou acts her age around.

Tachihara and Higuchi go to shooting ranges together when they’re stressed.

When Alabatross first got his moniker he would make bird sounds anytime his name was mentioned.

Mori’s scarf isn’t the original Port Mafia Boss scarf. It’s the 3rd iteration and if you squint closely you can see the remains of a cut off price tag.

Lippman can do scarcely accurately impressions of the rest of the flags and several other Port Mafia members. He has used this power to prank call the other flags.

Pushing the gay agenda onto bsd because I can

Ada:

- Dazai - demiromantic, bi, preference for women, he knew from like 10 he's not straight

- Kunikida - demiaroace, that's basically implied in the show, he/they pronouns, bi with preference for women, took him a very long time (like 22 years) to figure out he also likes men

- Ranpo - aroace spec, gay, prefers he/it pronouns but wouldn't actually care

- Yosano - lesbian, knew since day one, she/they

- Kyouka - she never thought abt this kinda stuff but she doesn't think she'd really care abt the gender of the person she likes, somewhere on the ace spectrum, doesn't care about pronouns

- Kenji - doesn't really understand, he says he loves everyone

- Atsushi - bi, preference for men (women scare him but it's understandable because the women he knows are Yosano and Kyouka), he/they but he's too afraid to ever tell ppl that

- Fukuzawa - literally never thought abt this before meeting Ranpo, but he now thinks he's bi without really any preference

- Tanizaki - transmasc he/him, is always too awkward to correct ppl

- Naomi - pan, absolutely no preference or care for the gender of the person she likes

- Haruno - she/he, aroace

Port Mafia:

- Chuuya - demiaroace, transmasc he/they, will correct you if you misgender him, bi with preference for men, he probably always knew he likes men and was shocked when he found out that some ppl only like one gender

- Kouyou - bi-curious but she's not wondering is she likes women, she's wondering if she likes men

- Mori - bi, preference for Elise

- Tachihara - never had the time to think abt, always assumed he's straight but then he got a crush on Gin and was panicking he is gay. He's bi. Then after figuring out he's bi he realized he's also transmasc

- Gin - agender, couldn't care less about pronouns, pan

- Akutagawa - demiaro, ace, bigender she/he

- Hirotsu - bi, huge preference for women, only like one man in his whole life

- Higuchi - lesbian (her crush on Aku is comphet), she/they

- Kaji - queer. Just queer. No label for this man woman thing

- Verlaine - they/them, gay

- Rimbaud - he/she/they, gay(er)

- Albatross - she/he, bi

- Pianoman - pan (Lippmannsexual), uses he/him pronouns but wouldn't really care if ppl would use any other pronoun

- Poe - has a gay crisis every other day because "what if this is the wrong label????" So he just says gay or queer

- Lucy - transfem she/her will kill anyone who misgenders her

- Margaret - seems homophobic but is actually an ally, she thought Lucy how to girl, she's questioned if she's bi before

- Nathaniel - homophobic homosexual (bisexual but refuses to admit his crushes on men because of religion)

- Mark - bi

- John - he/she, gay

- Lovecraft - genderqueer, aroace spec

- Herman - ally

Hunting dogs:

- Fukuchi - gay for Fukuzawa

- Tecchou - doesn't really understand it, he thinks that ppl shouldn't even label just love, and doesn't care what pronouns ppl use for him but if ppl misgender others he will correct them

- Jouno - gay, transmasc, will torture ppl if they misgender him

- Teruko - she/they/xe, queer

Decay of Angels:

- Sigma - agender, any pronouns, aroace spec

- Nikolai - he/it transmasc, gay

- Fyodor - aroace

- Bram - was once asked by Nikolai if he's gay and said "No. I'm actually too tired to feel gay right now." He/she
