This gave me the best angst idea ever.

So what if people who died painfully and became ghosts would carry with them a palm sized emblem that showed how they died and give the same feelings of whatever caused them death for however long it took in a blink of an eye with its trauma when it's touched.

And the only reason they have that is to tell older ghosts and only the living touched by death that this is a TRAUMATISED newborn/ baby.

Practically, it's telling the surrounding ghost to play nicely and to let the baby win. Because see how they died? Oh you don't think that was painful? Will how about you come and touch it then? Go on, see how that is not painful at all.

Aka don't be a dick to the baby ghost

And older ghosts aren't allowed to tell them why they have it not because of an oath but to make sure that the baby gets better at ghost communicating, ghost emotional bonds, and stronger abilities while making it their idea to keep them getting better.

Because ghosts specifically children ( or teenagers) will not do something with enough care unless it's their idea. And will just say that it shows how you died and that it disappears after getting somewhat comfortable with the fact that you died ( when you become comfortable as a ghost/ become old enough to take care of yourself while dealing with other old ghosts but they won't say that)

Enter Danny going on a month school field trip/ family trip/ vacation by himself visiting a measum with Wonder Woman feeling a shit ton of death energy and "innocently" asking what this emblem is cause she never seen something like this before.

Danny just says that his friend is interested in occult and goth things (true, Sam) bought it (not true, but the thing attaches itself to what ever he's currently wearing so Sam took the fall for the team) because the seller said that it shows the wearer what they will die from (half truth) but for some reason it worked with only him and attached itself to him. And that they could not find the seller to ask them about it.

He says that death by a five lightning bolts doesn't sound too bad in jest.

Daina believes him and wonders what happened to the occultist that just had an item of future death telling and why it only worked with him.

She asks to inspect it.

Daina Prince a being who is touched by death/ related to death itself.

Wonder Woman, who can handle getting thrown through 12 building and stand up like it's nothing.

The amazon warrior, who repeatedly fought powerful entities that almost destroyed the entire universe and came out victorious.

Daina, the strong amazon warrior, experiences what it feels like to be a human, a small human child filled with so much curiosity and so much hope for the future, getting electrocuted for forty five minutes.

(And being ripped apart molecule by molecule and put together into something new but they focus more on the pain that will be given to a small teenager.)

Danny blinks, holds her steady and asks if she's okay?

She says she's fine, just didn't take her medicine. (Daina doesn't take medication, Daina doesn'tget sick, Daina doesn't get sick Diana doesnt get sick Dianadoesn'tgetsickDianad)

Danny tells a joke to make her feel better, brings her water to help her and asks if he should bring her anything while holding her hair up.

Daina vomits in the trashcan but tells him it's just the consequences of not taking her medication and thanks him.

Danny stays with her, comforting her,distracting her by talking about the beautiful constellation in the night sky, telling her that she'll be okay and help is on the way until her coworkers come with a mid kit.

Daina thanks him.

Danny wishes her health and safety with his large hopeful eyes and leaves.

Danny forgets about the interaction.

Daina did not.

ghost king Danny reincarnates for vacation and ends up as a clone around 14 or 20 year old of bat man and Superman, he breaks out obviously and starts a new life with fake background to stand on and gets on with doing everything he couldn’t in the first life like joining an underground fighting ring for kicks, getting black out drunk and singing karaoke with some strangers who are strangely nice, try a cigarette, become a crime lord for a short time before crowning someone else and helping from time to time to help them out, and so forth and just having a jolly old time as the Justice legue is running after him trying to find out why he’s pretending to be normal and why is his powers different from the two donors

“Why would I care about the donors of my creation? Sure they in technicality made me but it’s like you said donors, meaning I have a right to not talk with them because they’re not my family. My family is the mafia boss down the street and the gang that I left 5 months ago, I don’t know what the fuck your one but at least share estranged donor”

Danny found family in the mafia, basically.

Would they think that Danny was going to go rouge as a villain after the mafia, only to be stunned that he suddenly stepped down from his position and crowned someone else?

Or maybe it isn't even that.

Maybe they're going after him not because he was a clone, but because [insert magic user here] came to the conclusion that the clone from Batman and Superman maybe have been a new vessel that hold's the Ghost King?

Alright, so I was thinking about my last post (I suggest you read that first for context) and I remembered that one episode of Justice Legue, "Legends" where the team ends up in universe that was a comic in their universe, because somehow there was just enough of a leak between them for someone to know what was happening and mistake it for their own ideas.

So anyways, what if Bruce's lonely writings were like that, and instead of dying like I had previously said, Bruce just goes missing and is declared dead.

And he wakes up in a parallel world, just like his wrightings described.

Okay, so for some reason or another, maybe while Batmans "dead" someone tries to bring him back, or another time someone tries to summon The Batman, or something, but no matter what's the reason, they somehow get the wrong Bruce.

Instead of batman or Brucie Wayne (which is what i will be calling Batman Bruce), they get Mr. introverted, paranoid, anxious, writer Bruce.

Who is now very scared and confused, waking up in a very different version of his city.

He manages to run (or they think they got the wrong guys and dump him) and ends up on the streets of Gotham. He, upon seeing that he's still in his city, starts going home, not a lot different, some buildings here or there, but he doesn't go out much so that's pretty normal for him.

Until one of the Bats or Birds spot him. (I think Tim cus he's the one Bruce knew best back home)

They see Bruce (who may or may not be supposedly dead), at least it looks like him, but Bruce walks different, holds himself differnt. He's weary, almost afraid looking, if that were something he could possibly look, and they're sure whoever this is is not their Bruce.

Okay so I think we can see here the origin of the Arrowverse and an explanation for how the specific format of sidestepping big characters and combinations of plots from many of them.

Warner bros. prequel tv such as Gotham and Smallville are due to avoiding conflict with movies, and the weird Arrow being batman issue and similar thing with kinda sorta having a justice legue with the Flash, Supergirl and Arrow characters exist for this same reason. Similarly batman does show up but never as a main character. I think it’s interesting that Superman did get his own show but there has been a hiatus of movies so presumably that’s why.

I love the line about “scanning it’s library for other potential franchises to develop for the CW” bc that’s honestly how it feels like they come up with stuff.

But yeah ‘DJ’ Grayson was almost a thing… maybe it’s for the best that this didn’t exist

I only found this bc of the ‘CW hasn’t been profitable since 2006’ thing and now I’ve been blessed (or cursed) with Dick ‘DJ’ Grayson

Heya! I noticed Hal Jordan doesn't get alot of love here 😔 So! How about a Hal Jordan ask?? 😁

The male reader is apart of the Justice Legue and then got captured or smth. But then the Justice Legue found him again, however they have don't really have a whole lot of ideas of what happened to him. Snice, Reader hasn't really talked snice being found, as well as not really interacting w/ people...

But, but! Then, Reader starts getting out of his shell little by little, w/ Hal! Like it starts w/ Reader sitting by Hal, then gets to a point where he lays his head in Hal's lap or on his shoulder. 😍 (Aaaa my heart!!!)

Awww this was such a cute ask! Sorry it took me a minute I was rewatching the imperfects and just saw this! Anyways, I think that-

Hal would initially beat himself up for what happened. He should have been there to protect you! After a while though he realizes that he should instead focus on you and your recovery. He takes things slow and talks to you despite your non-verbal state.

He doesn’t ask you invading questions about what happened, he expects you to talk on your own time. Instead he talks about his day quietly while redressing your wounds and feeding you room temperature soups.

The day you talk for the first time in a while it’s hard for him to hide his excitement. He’s just glad to see some progress beginning to form. Soon he’s getting short responses to questions or his stories from you and his smile widens every time he hears your voice. As you get more comfortable with physical contact he notices and will take it slow. He’ll never initiate anything himself he always lets you start any form of physical contact that isn’t necessary.

His smile is large as you rest your head against his shoulder, slowly drifting off to sleep at the sound of his voice. He’d usually joke abt him being boring enough to where you feel the need to fall asleep but knowing that this is such a sign of trust for you he keeps quiet for once.

Batman: Wayne Family Adventures Vol 2 by CRC Payne & Starbite

10/5 (this is one of my favorite volumes)

This post is for fan entertainment, I’m not being paid.

Yay another Wayne Family Adventures volume; I was stoked when I saw this.

This volume shows us that the members of the family have their own anxieties, like Jason PTSD for what happen to him in “Death in the Family”.  Broke my heart when I saw he went into panic mode when he heard the scraping of metal on concrete that sent him back to the day he died.

One story showed Cass and her ability where she can read a person body language inside and outside of battle and she can’t stop it and seeing one of the girls being upset she ask what wrong and won’t take no for an answer.

I noticed in Vol 2 there were a lot more serious undertones in this one and, but it still had some humorous stories as well.  However, the more serious undertones that we faced in this volume was also that I liked, that these people that are so strong and funny, they have their own monsters to deal with, and all that change when they came to live with Bruce and fought alongside with family members.

I love the stories that had Batman and Bruce, those stories are way funnier than some of the others.

One story had Bruce recovering from a big fight and Alfred put him on strict bed rest and he has enlisted the other family members to help because you know Bruce will do everything, he can to get down to the Batcave. Bruce was even trying to bride Tim to get into the Bat cave. Now I know if any of the kids got injury Bruce will put the fear of the Bat into them if they budge from their bed. So, it’s nice that the kids and Alfred also dole out the same treatment to him.

However, I think one of the funniest chapters in this whole series is when Alfred is out of town, and the Wayne family must go out to a party, but Duke and Damian can’t remember how to tie a tie. Bruce tries to help but fails so he calls on the Justice Legue, but all the guys who wear ties keep failing to direct Bruce, and that’s when Wonder Woman comes into save the day.

But one of the best running gags that s running through series has to do with Tim. Tim keeps getting kidnapped by three guys and they are really bad at it and Red Hood comes in, talks to guys point out everything that they did wrong, but gives them some brownie points about picking their target well, and the proceeds to KO all of them while Tim escapes on his own.

One thing I did like was the ending chapter, while Bat family takes the night off for some family time. So, two individuals decided to step in. However, it ends with fighting and trying to call Bruce to figure out who is the best friend, Superman or Harley Quinn.

This is one of my favorite series of Batman I love to read. I would really recommend this to anyone who wants to read a new take on Batman.

It's first time ever I post something on Tumblr and I probably won't do it ever again, but this idea kinda stuck with me, so here you go, dp x dc prompt.

Danny is on a family trip in some hero adjacent city (preferably not Gotham, as much as I love Batpham fics, let's give others time to shine). It would be a great chance to rest if ghosts knew and respected words "free time." They don't, so he has to constantly fly back and forth between Amity and wherever he is. He doesn't know how to make portals yet, so he spends quite a lot of time on transportation alone, and then he fights and goes back ASAP, because as much as he can always count on Jazz to cover for him and the fact that Fentons aren't most observant, at some point they have to realise if he didn't pop up from time to time.

So now, he is running like a third day without so much as five minutes to sleep, purely on caffeine and spite, just got this okay looking sandwich from petrol station and strongest coffee he could buy and eat/drink in some secluded place (rooftop, abounded building, some really quiet alley, you know), right before he has to return to his family and act like he had nice night sleep and isn't "the Phantom menace" his parents are always threatening to post mortem murder AND THIS RANDOM PIGEON DARES TO TRY TO STEAL HIS FOOD!!!

Yes, he proceeds to yell at the pigeon because ✨️misplaced aggression✨️

He rants about his life right when local hero is near enough to hear him and just is like "You ok kid?"

They're not even too surprised hearing news about ghost (I mean, there is Deadman and also they probably had seen weirder), but still this boy shouldn't be the only one handling it (how old is he anyway, thirteen?). Oh, he isn't alone in it, ok, that's good. He has two friends (without powers or training) and two years older sister and not even his parents are in the know about his hero gig, well that's bad, gotta help him somehow.

From here, there are two ways it can go (at least I thought about these two)

1. Danny let's out one (1) scream of absolute terror and vanishes from the sight (especially if hero is in costume)

2. He proceeds to yell at the hero, because there is so much steam he has to let out and you know ✨️misplaced aggression✨️ once again (probably would work best if chosen hero was in civies, on their way grocery shopping or something)("There is no way this random civilan will belive me I may as well just continue" Danny Fenton, probably)

This is how Justice Legue lears about Amity (maybe because no one in Amity ever called because "Phantom can handle it" and Danny really didn't want to handle possessed heroes, I like this headcannon)

It can also start when Danny screams at someone's pet, but I don't know enough about dc to tell who would fit (I literally know it only from fanfics. This tag fanfics). Like, I know Damian Wayne is supposed to have a thing for animals, there are Klarion with Teekl (though they may not be the ones Danny would like to meet at the moment) and I think Captain Marvel/ Shazam had some connections with a tiger? But like, I don't think Danny would scream at tiger. I don't know, though. I've seen only a few episodes of the show, but he as well could just do it.

Idk, I just really want to see Danny full on screaming at the pigeon. And a hero. Take it from here, I'm really curious how someone who knows more about these fandoms (and English, it's not my mother tongue, I hope my brain hadn't gone "ah yes, it sounds similar, 'day' is how 'they' is supposed to be written" or something like that anywhere in this post) handles it. Who would even fit?

Poll to help determine who wins the elections during the final arc of my motw campaign.

It's the summer of two thousand sixteen, and you're a resident of New York city. Strange events have been happening geologically since late twenty twelve. The government has been talking about forces beyond our knowledge, people have gone missing, and now civil war has broken out in Egypt, Britian and New Zealand, with strange talk of them involving ancient gods, vampires, and wizards respectively. And worst of all, from what you know nuclear disaster has claimed St. Luis.

A few weeks ago, mysterious broadcasts have revealed a global conspiracy, and an underground war between those trying to unveil the conspiracy and those trying to maintain it, protests have been sparked throughout downtown Manhattan, the sky has been turned red, and new forces gain power in the city as the American government slowly implodes, and the police are recruited as shock troops by those trying to maintain the veil.

Yesterday it was revealed that the conspiracy was not just one of power, but one of reality, as a fight broke out between protesters utilizing supernatural powers, with a warrior in flaming armor, winged humanoids, and a woman with unnatural speed and invulnerability defended the protests from the police. It has now been revealed that more thinking beings then humanity inhabit this earth, and that magic is provably real, with entire underground neighborhoods existing below the city surface that house many of these beings.

With any semblance of a human government gone, the rebellion against the veil is now holding elections to see who will lead the city after the war is won.

Your Current candidates are:

The Sun Mage- The man who started the rebellion to reveal the magical world to humanity, a sorcerer who defected at the age of nineteen, having trekked across the country, and lost a leg in defense of his cause. He has been known to be idealistic, rejecting formal structure, and refusing to have any sort of headquarters beyond his apartment in Chelse. He's popular among commoners, both in the underground and the surface world, but the military and higher ups in the revolution are skeptical of his ability to organize properly. He appears as a young man, usually wearing a long coat and hat, with a hook prosthetic leg, tan skin, and long hair.

Claire Adams- A human who was once part of a monster hunter organization (seeming tied to several Ivy Legue schools) that maintained the veil, she helped push her organization into the rebellion, and championed radical praxis in order to break the veil and militarization of the rebellion. She is probably the most radical of the rebels, embracing full rights for creatures thought to be dangerous to humanoids, such as vampyrs, demigods and lycanthropes, and possibly even supporting the restructuring of the economy to distribute wealth away from species privileged under the old system and fully integrate humanity into the magical world. She appears as a young woman with pale skin and black hair, seeming to be part of the emo/scene subculture, and usually wearing her full monster hunter equipment and crossbow.

High king Maryanne Obelisk- Once a normal human girl who tried to avenge her brother who was killed for disobeying an order from a sorcerer, she lost her humanity in her quest for vengeance, being bitten by the previous king of vampyrs (Arthur Pendragon) and taking his throne after defeating him and banishing him to England. She is one of humanity's, and many other downtrodden species, biggest defenders, once having been living proof of humanity's competence in the face of magic. She's been the one most willing to respond to disasters, though she has known to be ruthless, and the vampyrs working under her might not share her sense of justice. She is the most beloved of the leaders among human activists. Like all vampyrs, she appears as a humanoid with white scales, a large snake like mouth, and black eyes.

Elric of Vinland- a travel from an unknown place, possibly forwards, backwards or sideways in time (though such things are mysterious even to mages). He's been one of the most aggressive warriors of the rebellion, traveling across the world to start and aid uprisings, and make previously hostile factions sympathetic. Most famously, he helped attack the sorcerer's academies by helping enslaved elves rise up against their masters. He is in direct Legue with the gods, being a paladin of Hel and Lilith, and seems to have experience as a military leader and political actor from wherever he was from. Though the rest of the rebellion has been skeptical of him, commoners amoung humanity and creature alike seem to like him. He appears as a young man with strawberry blond hair, having lost his hearing and disfigured his hands in previous battles, he often wears a futuristic looking uniform, and is able to spawn burning armor when going into battle.

Dr Robert Coleridge- a human handed one of the five most powerful magic items on earth by Jesus of Naseerah (a powerful lich and son of Zeus), transforming him into an ageless genderless being with dominion over magic. He seems to be the most kindhearted of all the leaders of the rebellion, being slow to violence and not wanting to use his powers as a weapon. He's taken power among the harpies, who were once the bankers of the magical world, but have since become the main force funding the rebellion. He does not want to be elected, which might be what makes him the best man for the job. He appears as an unnaturally beautiful androgynous being with glowing eyes, usually wearing a button-down shirt and bowtie.

Grand Inquisitor Espen Hunter- a sorcerer who once was a high-ranking military officer among the forces trying to maintain the veil, who switched sides out of principle when the sorcerous government planned to commit acts of terror and genocide against harpy populations and began conscripting children into the inquisition as part of the late war effort. He is still skeptical of many the rebellion's ideals but will side with them over genocide. For better or worse, he is slow to implement ideas until they are well proven to him. Though other than possibly Elric, he is the cantante with the most experience in government, and other then Robert he's the only candidate above twenty-five. He appears as a warrior in archaic armor, wielding a mace in one hand as a spell in the other, a mask covers his face which was disfigured by an attack spell.

We're sorry you have to vote for people you didn't know existed until now, but this was the only way.
