Ito yung PINAKA-importanteng ituturo ko sa anak ko. PINAKA. Tatlong salita pero mama bakit hindi naman inexplain sa akin nakakainis. Napakapretentious ko nung elem, talagang trying to fit in. Tipong babaguhin ko sarili ko para makasabay sa uso at magkaroon ng set of friends. Nakakapagod. MALING MALI. Nadala ko to hanggang high school. Hindi ako nakabago ng maayos na circle of friends kasi kahit ako hindi ko kilala sarili ko. Ngayong 25 na ako, naiisip ko na nung mga panahon na yun, natakot ako. Natakot akong mag-isa kasi sa bahay lagi akong mag-isa. Wala akong kapatid at laging wala ang parents ko. Wala rin nagtatama ng mali ko at walang nakakapansin na hindi na pala tama ang ginagawa ko.

Siguro marami akong pagkakamali na naiwasan kung sinundan ko lang tong payo na ito. Pero pag iniisip ko yung tipo ng ugali na meron ako, yung klase ng kapaligiran na meron ako nung mga panahon na yun, at mga taong nakapaligid sakin, eto talaga yung mangyayari. Kung iisipin, hindi naman siguro sila nagkulang sa pagpayo, pero ang kaso hindi ko kasi naintindihan yung sinasabing JUST BE YOU. Ngayong naiintindihan ko na, I'll do my part na kahit papaano maexplain ko kay baby ito. Pero sa totoo lang, ang hirap mahalin ng sarili kung hindi ko alam kung pano ba mahalin ng tama. Hirap din talaga pag galing sa broken family, at lalong mahirap pag ang magulang ay galing din sa broken family. Nangangapa maging magulang, pero hindi ko sila masisisi. Pinilit nila gawin ang parte nila sa abot ng makakaya nila.

Anyway, kung halimbawa lang na makakausap ko yung younger self ko, sasabihin ko lang na take your time to get to know yourself, kasi pag hindi mo yan gagawin ngayon gagawin mo pa rin yan sa future. Para hindi ka na magpaulit ulit, at para maiwasan mo yung mga mali na pwede mong iwasan kung tinanggap mo lang agad at kinilala ang sarili mo. Knowing yourself can allow you to attract people with similar interests and mindset. Hindi kailangan mabigat ang relationship, mapafriendship man yan, jowa, or family. I guess ito rin ang sasabihin ko sa anak ko, and so much more. I'm here anak to help you, pero pwede rin naman learning the hard way. Your choice anak haha!

Genuine question: is split attraction not ok? It makes sense to me cuz as someone who is on the aro spectrum but not on the ace spectrum, I’m aware that sexual and romantic attractions are separate and not the same experiences/feelings. Am I wrong? It’s ok if you don’t want to answer this, I just can’t tell if you think split attraction all together is wrong or not.

For me I guess it makes sense for the ace spectrum but when its used otherwise things just get messy.

I don’t have the energy to really talk about this stuff publicly because nobody will ever fully Agee with each other. Everyone is entitled to and has their own views.

Pretty much like do whatever makes you happy but on the other hand I just feel that the need to label every single experience under its own ‘microlabel’ does more harm then good when the purpose of original labels is to encompass not just one specific feeling. That’s all I need to say

do you know how many people are mad that authors use "growled" as a word for "said"? it's just poetics! they do not literally mean "growled," it's just a common replacement for "said with force but in a low tone." it's normal! do you hear me!! help me i love you please let me out of here!!!
